Downtown’s packed—nooks, crannies, quirky bars. There's a park near Riverbend Blvd. that just screams peace. The River Jnt winds by, glistening in the sunlight. I used to sit there after shifts, thinkin’, “Whoa, it’s like The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, ya know?”
I mean, seriously, each daytime stroll down Jackson St. feels epic. That’s where locals meet for coffee. And then, there’s the hidden gem: Old Mill Park. It's ancient, kinda secret, but so chill. I sometimes get there after work, let my brain wander, just like when I watch Julian Schnabel's flick.
Man, this city’s got a personality. Friend, you gotta see the murals on Elm—totally underrated. I even got a tattoo from one of ‘em. Crazy, right?
