Oh my gawd, like, Middlebury-village is literally the cutest place ever, you know? I’ve been here for years, like, and let me tell you, it's so perf! So, basically, Middlebury is this charming little town with mad cute streets, such as College Street – omg, it's like, totally packed with tiny shops and that old-school vibe that makes you think of, like, "Blue Is the Warmest Color" art scenes, you know? It totally gives those dreamy movie feels, like, “Wish I could stay in a moment of eternity” vibes all day every day.
Okay, so like, the downtown area is sick with character. There’s Maple Avenue, where I used to geek out and, like, test out dating app features for our users. I swear, sometimes I’d be super inspired by the random convos happening in the cafes around there. And then there’s, like, Elm Street – OMG, so many quirky little art galleries and vintage thrift shops that make my heart explode with excitement every time I pass by. Seriously, I’ve lost count of the times I’ve run into a cute local and thought, “This is so, like, fate!”
Then, there's the gorgeous Middlebury River that just flows right through and totally adds that extra spark of nature goodness. I always, like, chill at Riverside Park, near the old wooden bridge on Birch Road – it's totally my fave escape from the app coding madness. Like literally, whenever I'm stressed, I stroll there and go, “Ahh, Blue is the warmest color, and nature is just like, sooo warm.” Sometimes I even run into unexpected street performers who, like, magically inspire my next design glitch fix. Lol, what a vibe, right?
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the secret little hideaway café on Sunset Court. It’s, like, totally off the grid and only known to the know-it-alls. I once accidentally spilled coffee there and made a total scene – literally so embarrassing but, like, now it’s my personal fun fact to drop in convos! Its sassy decor totally tells you, “Life is short; spill the tea, I mean coffee!”
I gotta say, the locals here are super rad – like, every corner feels like a celeb meet-up. I'm always laughing about how my dating app job lets me see the little heartbeats of this town that others totally miss. But seriously, Middlebury is, like, a collage of quirky streets, floating art scenes, and vintage-chic vibes that make every day a spontaneous adventure, reminding you that life is, like, unpredictably lit.
