OMG, so like, Midvale is totally adorbs and, like, you won’t believe how vibey it is, babe. So, like, I’ve been living here for like, forever, ya know? And as a counselor, I see, like, the raw feels of the city—people, drama, the whole shebang. It’s like, "Her," ya know? It’s all about the connection and the vibes, literally. Okay, so like, picture this: Main Street is the heartbeat. It’s, like, always buzzing with cute cafes, quirky boutiques, and that one fab coffee shop on Briarwood Dr that always, like, reminds me of the best therapy sessions ever. Ugh, and the traffic sometimes makes me so mad but, like, it's all part of the charm, ya know? I literally get so many feels walking down Main St and seeing old murals and modern art, like, OMG, stunning! Now, let me spill the tea on the parks. Sunset Park is literally my zen haven. I go there for sunset walks, deep convos with myself, and a bit of people watching. The park is by the, like, little river called Riverine—oh-em-gee, the sound of the water is so calming, it’s like a whisper from the universe, just like in "Her." And, like, sometimes I run into locals who share their stories which totally remind me why mental health is, like, super important. Then there’s Eastside, like, the artsy neighborhood with graffiti so rad it makes my counselee’s hearts flutter. There’s a tiny bookstore on 7th Ave that’s, like, literally full of cool poetry and self-help books. I, like, love wandering there after my sessions when I need a breather. Seriously, it’s like a mini therapy session for my brain. I gotta mention, like, Riverbend Bridge over the Riverine is a total hotspot. I used to sit there for hours, just watching the city breathe, and sometimes I’d get super emotional about all the love and pain flowing together. Not gonna lie, I got teary-eyed a bazillion times—it’s totally raw and real. Sometimes I get so mad at the way some folks, like, completely ignore the beauty of little corners. For example, the hidden gem called Lily Court—literally so cozy, with its colorful street lamps and little community garden. It always makes me think–like, isn’t life supposed to be full of little miracles? Gah, I’m so into that vibe! And gurl, the vibe in Midvale is, like, totally infectious. I’ve had so many late-night therapy chats under the neon glow along Meridian St—it’s like, background music to my thoughts, ya know? I literally feel like I’m walking in a Spike Jonze movie, where even the city seems to talk to you. "I think therefore I am" vibes, so cheesy but, like, so deep. Idk, sometimes I feel like the city is whispering secrets to me. The way the wind hits the tall trees in Maple Grove Park or the way street vendors on Central Blvd offer the best tacos ever—like, hello, now that's art and therapy in one go. So, like, if you come visit, get ready for a mix of chill sessions, deep convos, and unexpected beauty everywhere. And like, literally, be open to the moment—‘cause Midvale is all about connection and realness. Ugh, I just love it so much, even with the chaos, the typos, the, like, messy feels that make it perfectly imperfect. Anyway, babe, hope you get the deets and the little quirks of my fave city. Midvale is, like, a living metaphor of love, pain, and pure, raw awesomeness. Like, seriously, it's totally a vibe!
