New-Lenox is chock-full of nifty nooks. Start with Main Street – man, it's crazy busy, lit by neon lights at night. You got Addison Ave with those cute little diners, the BEST burgers ever. My fav? That greasy spoon on Lenox Rd…it’s all over the map, absolutely tremendous! So many hidden spots that others, like, totally miss.
Oh, and the parks - oh my gosh, unbelievable! Ever been to Maple Grove? It's bonkers nice, with its big ol' trees and chill vibes. I remember this one day, my mood was all “Yay! I gotta say, sometimes I get mad at the traffic on Washington Blvd – total chaos, let me tell you, but that's how it is! Known for its hustle and bustle, it's impressive in its messy beauty. And you know what, sometimes, I even laugh at how people rush without enjoying the little joys. And believe, in my line of work, I tell 'em: "Hey, slow down, think of the happy memories," like in that movie, Inside Out.
