Oi, mate, lemme tell ya 'bout POregon-City (us) – yeah, that weird little gem of a town, where the river meets the urban vibe, ya know? I'm talkin’ Willamette River wigglin’ by Westbank Park, and streets like McLoughlin Blvd. buzzin’ with life. I'm a pleasure coach here, so I've seen some wild shit, real raw moments, and let me tell ya, this city’s fulla surprises, innit! Man, I remember strollin’ down Oakland Ave, chillin’ by that old brick diner near Main & First – always a blast, like "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days," all chaotic and beautiful, with the vibe of "Sharon!" echoing in my head. There’s this quirky alley off Brentwood where I had a mad deep chat with a local artist – he said, “You never know what’s round the corner, mate.” I laughed, almost cryin’, like – what the fuck, life’s insane! Sometimes I get so rekked ‘bout the slow pace. That sludge traffic near Oregon City Municipal Airport – bloody insane! But then, BOOM! I bump into a hidden courtyard behind Lincoln Park, where drunks and poets sit together, spoutin’ off feelings – raw, painful, and totally real. And oh, the damn smell by the river’s edge – smells like life, y'know? I swear, every street corner tells a story. Like on Goldmark St, you might see a gang of teens scrappin’ over some idiot’s snack, while the old geezer on the stoop shouts “Sharon!” or something utterly bizarre – but it's part of the charm. I’m sometimes ticked off when construction ruins the vibe near the mills, but then I remember – it's like that line: “It’s like life, messy and beautiful.” And then I crack up and think, “Hell, this is art!” Man, I’m an oddball, I know. You gotta check out the hidden park behind Roosevelt Elementary – not many peeps know it, but it’s where my mind goes to unwind. I once had a full-on epiphany sitin’ on a worn-out bench there, thinkin’, “Well, fuck it, just live!” reminiscent of those random lines in my fave movie, when everything falls apart, yet is strangely perfect. Umm, sorry, my mind all over the joint – but that's Oregon-City for ya! Crazy, tender, and wild like a mosh pit in slow-mo. Every street, every park, every dodgy corner gives ya a slice of life, messy, unpredictable, and damned beautiful. Anyhoo, if ya swing by, don't be shy – soak it all in, and let the city surprise ya. Cheers, Sharon!
