Hey there, welcome to Scaggsville (us)! OMG, where do i start? It's so cray, ya know? I’ve been living here for yrs, and it's my little haven—even if it's a bit odd sometimes. You got your quiet spots and chaotic corners; it's all "the mystery of life" vibes, like in The Tree of Life. That’s what she said! Street names? Check out Maplewood Ln, quiet like your mama’s hug. Then there's Lavender Ave. that shines real good in the fall. I like to stroll to Riverside Park near Bridgeview Rd. It’s chill, kinda like, all that really matters, like the universe just is. Honestly, some parts make me mad. Ugh, sometimes I feel so frustrated by the unkempt side streets like Crenshaw Dr, I mean seriously! But then, oh man, a fresh breeze hits me near Elm’n Blvd – i get pumped again. I’m a womens counselor, so i see emotions everywhere. You can bet every park bench tells secrets, like that old oak behind Westside Elementary in Fairfield. Its story is deep, like "everything is interrelated" (yep, Terrence Malick vibes, baby). I love hidden gems. Like that tiny coffee shack on Dunsmore St. It brews magic—seriously, its coffee is the bomb! I always sit there, doodlin’ and thinkin‘ “all is well”, in spite of the world. Not to mention, the small river, Winding Brook, near Liberty St., flows like time itself—gentle, relentless, and a bit unpredictable. Lemme add, sometimes, it's all over the place. i get super hyped down by neon signs on Compton Rd. and then suddenly i slow down at Fairview Park, where calm hugs you like a warm sweater. That’s what she said, LOL! I’ve seen tears, smiles, and even laughter among the trees here—like a live, messy movie set. I walk these streets, each one tells a tale—errr, like, so many are deep and raw. My therapy sessions spill along these parks and roads. It feels almost divinely connected, like “the universe is in us”. And yer, some unpredictable moments make me laugh, some make me cry. Hell, sometimes, i just scream “that’s what she said!” into the wind! I’ll admit, i’m known to rush sometimes. typos, slip-ups, and rantings, oh ya, like rn: realll excited, yy know? Naah, i dont even count the typos – im in love with this mess. Its all kinda perfect in imperfection. Livin' here is rad, even when i’m tripping over my own words on Rutland Ave, or peel my eyes open at dawn by the river. So ya, Scaggsville (us) is a city snug in its quirks. It's messy, bold, and weirdly beautiful. It's got humor, warmth, and occasional chaos—kinda like me trying to counsel a room full of wildflowers. Thanks for listening to my rambling! Enjoy your visit, and remember - "all things really, really matter." That’s what she said, for reals!
