Oh man, Wadesboro (us) is wild, mate! Sharon! Down Main Street, things buzz nonstop. I grew up near Elm & Pine. It’s a weird, warm town. North of Main, Riverside Park rocks. I stroll there, think deep thoughts. Err, sometimes crazy things happen. You know, “You don’t get to 500 million” vibe. My fave spot is Greystone Cafe. Located on Maple. It smells like freedom n’ coffee. Totally rad – like, “the future is ours” moment! There’s Crazy Creek winding by. I always mull over its path. I’ve had deep talks n’ laughs there. Sometimes I laugh - Sharon! Old Quarters, on Baker st, is artsy. Folks here chat, love ya loads. I once counselled a fam there. Almost broke, then... “We lived our lives like there’s no tomorrow!” I get mad at traffic in Midtown. Roads narrow, cars honk ; drat! But neighbors help, share kindness. We stick together, real tight. Some memories are bittersweet. I, as a shrink, see souls. People spill secrets on 3rd Ave. It’s raw, honest - like life, man! Wadesboro’s got funky nooks, like a twist, a surprise. Ever visited Liberty Fountain? Man, “you’re not being greedy, are you?” I scribble notes in worn journals. Been many days, moody moods. Some typos, some LOL moments. Oops, typos: so chellngng, u kno? Dis, like, real life sprawl. Always ye old humdrum vibe, yet sparks fly in alleyways. I dig every quirky, rugged feel. Weird street arts, bitter-sweet talks, mad, happy rants – Sharon! Wadesboro (us) keeps you guessin’. We’re true, raw, unfiltered. Visit, wander, feel the buzz. It’s a blast, a ride, mate! Yeah, that’s Wadesboro. Grr... wild city, no doubt!
