St Paul the Apostle Parish Priest Fr John Paul Escarlan works closely with the Ephpheta Centre – the Catholic Centre for people who are deaf or hard of hearing – to provide inclusive Masses at the parish that attract people far and wide
“It is important for deaf people to fully participate in the Mass,” Fr John Paul said
“It’s equally important for people who are deaf to worship God in their own language – Auslan – when they come here.”
Fr John Paul said the inclusive Masses support the Diocese of Parramatta’s Pastoral Plan to become “a synodal Church that walks together”

Christiane ‘Chrisso’ Quartararo lost her hearing as a teenager
She said the inclusive Masses are vital to establishing connections and helping people with disabilities overcome daily challenges and feel supported
I didn’t have access to Mass in Auslan,” she said
but I couldn’t understand what was being said
“When an Auslan interpreter was brought in
it changed everything – I felt a sense of participation and belonging
“My faith deepened because I could finally connect with God in my own language.”
Stephen Lawlor sharing the Mass readings in Auslan with interpreter Melissa Smith
Chrisso said acts of inclusion have phenomenal benefits for people living with disability
“Deaf people thrive when given the right access,” she said
access to Auslan in religious services isn’t just inclusion – it’s what enables true belonging,” she said
The inclusive Masses can be an important reminder of how faith connects people of all abilities
The beauty of worship through sign language becomes evident as the fluid movements of the interpreter’s hands help bring the prayers to life
Parishioners can fully participate in every aspect of the Liturgy and communal prayer with the support of an Auslan interpreter

who they say could have been targeted in previous shootings
The man was found with four gunshot wounds to various parts of his body outside a house at Winston Hills
which was peppered with bullets about 10.50pm on Wednesday
A manhunt is under way with police working to determine if the attack is linked to an underworld dispute
Detective Superintendent Barry Vincent said the man is known to police
"Certainly his background will form part of police inquiries going forward," he said on Thursday
Local officers were contacting specialist investigators and the State Crime Command following media reports the man had been targeted in previous shootings
The victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition under police guard
for his own safety as well as that of health staff
"Obviously we have concerns about the male being targeted and whether that may present other opportunities for the offenders that we're looking for," Supt Vincent said
A car has been towed away from the shooting scene
(Dan Himbrechts/AAP PHOTOS)"The greater concern we have as well is the risk to the members of the public and the community."
Specialist forensic police were examining the crime scene the morning after the shooting
which resulted in numerous bullet holes at the front of the home
Two Toyota vehicles parked in the driveway also appeared to have been hit
It was unclear whether the man was shot while still in his car or after leaving it
Links to a car fire in nearby Northmead are being investigated
NSW police say it is too early to tell if the Winston Hills shooting was gang-related
(Dan Himbrechts/AAP PHOTOS)An SUV was found alight about 11pm and could not be salvaged
Sydney was hit with dozens of tit-for-tat gangland shootings beginning in 2020 spurred by a war between rival crime organisations
The public attacks included five targeted shootings during a week in mid-July
But there has been a lull for much of 2024 after a series of arrests
which investigators say helped dismantle one of the major gangs behind the violence

All Hallows Eve – the vigil of All Saints Day on 1 November
There is no doubt that the American-style Halloween is growing in popularity in Australia
But instead of dressing as ghouls and terrifying creatures
several parishes asked their pint-sized parishioners to honour the true meaning of All Hallows Eve and come dressed as their favourite saint or Bible hero
priests and a few who dressed up as Jesuses
This was the second All Hallows event for Saint Paul The Apostle Parish in Winston Hills
organised by a group of mothers who wanted something different for their children

“The All Hallows event started in 2023 as a response to the increasing push and pressure on children to celebrate secular Halloween,” said parishioner and co-organiser Philomena
“All Hallows Eve is a lovely reminder of our mortality
the importance of praying for the dead and to celebrate our call to be saints,” she said
with more than 70 children participating in a candlelit rosary procession
“Everyone had a lot of fun and it joined the community together
A special thanks to Fr John Paul Escarlan for his continued involvement and support,” said Philomena
The new Somascan priests at St Padre Pio Parish
were more than happy to support the first-ever All Hallows event
As Assistant Priest Fr Sheldon Burke CRS said in the leadup to the event
“It is so important for children and families to participate in celebrations in light of our Catholic faith
“Encouraging the children to dress up as saints is a great way for them to celebrate the saints we imitate and the saints we are ultimately called to be,” he said
a group of parents from Glenmore Park parish came together to organise the first celebration of All Hallows Eve
“The parents were looking for something different for their children who were being pressured by their friends to go out into the streets trick or treating
dressed as witches or skeletons for Halloween,” said one of the organisers
“The church wanted to give the children a platform to have a fun-filled evening but at the same time keeping up the Christian way
The super-cute ‘saints’ started in the church and were asked to introduce their saint in front of the crowd
Parish Priest Fr Johnson CRS and Fr Sheldon then conducted a Q&A with the children
with one mother saying: “A massive congratulations and thanks to Fr Johnson
Fr Sheldon and all the volunteers for doing such an amazing job organising it for the children
and I feel like it was such a lovely way of celebrating the feast day.”
these parishes are encouraging all parishes in the Diocese to consider organising an All Hallows event in 2025

A gunman is on the run after a man was shot four times in Western Sydney
The incident occurred around 10:50pm on Wednesday in Winston Hills
According to the latest Shore Financial State of Sydney Report
which segments Sydney into five quintiles based on median house prices
nearly 74 per cent of suburbs are predicted to experience price growth in the coming months
Buxton leads with a median house price of $812,500 and projected growth of more than 5 per cent,
The report said the area has low inventory levels and an 86 per cent owner-occupier rate
Winston Hills has strong market fundamentals with properties spending just 26 days on market and a median price of $1,616,000
has the most potential at the premium end of the market with a median price of $4,160,000 and forecasted growth over 5 per cent
Brighton-Le-Sands tops the list in the mid-range quintile.
Despite its higher median price of $2 million
the area has low inventory levels and growing appeal
with a median price of $1,930,000 and projected growth adobe 5 per cent thanks to high owner-occupier rates and limited housing stock
The report used machine learning algorithms to analyse key indicators such as inventory levels and asking price trends to predict market performance
said the varying market conditions across different regions provide opportunities for buyers
“While Sydney overall is experiencing a slowdown
our data shows remarkable strength in local markets
particularly in areas with high buyer demand and low supply,” Mr Chambers said
He said first-home buyers continue to face significant challenges in the market
particularly in securing freestanding homes within Sydney’s metropolitan area
Mr Chambers said potential relief may come in 2025
with the possibility of eased monetary policy from the Reserve Bank of Australia
“Many first-time buyers are adapting their strategies
or considering rentvesting in more affordable markets,” Mr Chambers said
“This market segmentation highlights the diverse opportunities available across Sydney’s property landscape

Fr John Paul Escarlan took up his first posting as Parish Priest at St Paul the Apostle Parish
but by then he was already a familiar face to many in the Diocese
Fr John Paul has served in several parishes – including as Assistant Priest at St Madeleine Sophie Barat Parish
at the Parish of Richmond and at St Patrick’s Cathedral
Parramatta; a member of the Team Ministry at Mary
Blacktown; and Parish Administrator at St Bernadette’s Parish
Lalor Park –and is currently the Filipino Chaplain Coordinator
But his connection with the Diocese started even earlier
when he arrived from the Philippines to complete his studies at the Holy Spirit Seminary (then called the Holy Spirit Formation Centre)
Fr John Paul’s journey to the priesthood began in his final year of school on a small island in the Philippines after a discussion with his father
who encouraged him to look for his “purpose” in life
he remembers growing up in a family where service was part of life
helping the poor who would regularly come by his parents’ house
So when it came to deciding what to do after school
he says he discerned that service – serving God – was his “purpose”
and that by becoming a priest he could help the poor in his local community
this plan hit a snag after a few years in Australia
when he realised that if he stayed here after he finished his studies he would not be fulfilling that original plan
It was when he was taking a youth group from the Diocese of Parramatta to the Philippines that he saw that he didn’t need to be in the Philippines to help the poor
“I realised that I can still work for the poor by becoming a bridge,” he says
who maybe have taken for granted the beautiful country we have here
God can find a way that can still work with what you’re thinking.”
Fr John Paul has hit the ground running in his first six months at St Paul the Apostle
As one of the larger parishes in the Diocese
he regularly gets up to 200 in the congregation at each of his four weekend Masses – and this is before all the other meetings
and the wider work he does with the Filipino community

Image: Eugene Menguito Photography/Supplied
he plays basketball and tries to get to the beach for a swim when he can
He says one thing he noticed when he started was that as well as a warm welcome
many parishioners would come up to him to say
One reason many in the parish are so active and so grateful
is because of the strong bonds they had with their previous parish priests
the only two the parish has had in its 53-year history
high on a hill with views over Parramatta and the city
The parish is in the process of setting up a men’s ministry which
will be to plant a grove of olive trees on the church grounds to make it a “modern Garden of Gethsemane”
Another important focus for the parish is to re-establish a youth ministry
for primary age through to young adults which will be run by a parish youth council
Fr John Paul hopes this could also include a Faith In Action Team of young adults who will go out visiting other parishioners who are in need
Fr John Paul has set up a synodal process of listening with the young people of the parish
and hopes to have the youth council running by early next year
It’s a process he hopes will be a feature of his time in the parish

WINSTON Hills is a magnet for families and first-home buyers
Nestled between regions undergoing a development boom
this sleepy suburb is growing in popularity while giving house hunters the chance to snap up an affordable slice of the property pie
“Winston Hills offers the opportunity to get into a nice area without the high price tag of surrounding suburbs like Baulkham Hills,” agent Sam Dalgliesh
“We also see a lot of people moving from North Parramatta
Westmead and Wentworthville who are in an apartment and want the benefits of being near Parramatta
having a yard and getting out of strata living,” he said
CoreLogic figures reveal the median house price in Winston Hills is $1,055,500
Compared with nearby apartment-heavy suburbs
85.2 per cent of its properties are freestanding dwellings
The suburb is filled with detached family homes
Many of its older residents are downsizing
A large portion of those are hitting the market for between $800,000 and $900,000
Mr Dalgliesh just sold a renovated three-bedroom house in Aberdeen Rd to first-home buyers for $835,000
He said the suburb had been bucking the Sydneywide slowdown and continued to generate strong interest
This property has been snapped up for $852,000
“Winston Hills properties are quite easily attracting 20 to 25 groups per open homes
whereas in other areas we tend to aim for 10 to 15.”

Two feuding councils whose boundary lines divide a popular Sydney pub are at loggerheads over which municipality the venue should sit in
in a years-long fight the hotel’s owner has described as “petty”
pays rates to both Parramatta City and the Hills Shire councils
it is required to submit separate applications to both councils
The odd border quirk is one of dozens of seemingly arbitrary council boundaries drawn up across Sydney that can result in landowners being forced to pay two sets of rates
and submit development applications twice – once to each council
The Winston owner Andrew Thomas went to Parramatta Council in late 2022 proposing the pub’s building be put within Parramatta Council’s boundary and the carpark under the Hills Shire Council’s
Unhappy with the publican’s proposed split
Parramatta Council instead voted to subsume the entire precinct into its own area
“We’re trying to get the boundary changed so we’re not having to get two lots of different rates
two [development applications],” said Thomas
who was offered a record $175 million for his famous Oaks Hotel in Neutral Bay in 2022

The border between the two councils mostly follows the track of the M2 motorway
and a small block of strata apartments all falling into the Hills Shire Council
that’s income we rely on to pay for services that they use,” said Hills Shire Council general manager Michael Edgar
whose council made a counter-proposal to divide the land in a similar fashion to that proposed by Thomas
“We think there is an easy solution to solve it
“[That] would have resolved the issue with no loss of income
What then got exhibited [by Parramatta Council] and sent to the government was a lot bigger and that’s what we’re objecting to.”

a spokesperson for Parramatta Council said: “Following community consultation
council submitted an application for a proposed boundary amendment between The Hills Shire and City of Parramatta (Winston Hills) to the Minister for Local Government in March and is yet to receive a response.”

Stockland unveiled its newly upgraded Community Centre at The Willows Retirement Village in Winston Hills, with the $1m million development receiving numerous upgrades and improvements.
Totalling 860 square metres, the centre serves over 270 residents and contains new flooring, light fittings and fixtures, furnishings and the construction of a brand new cafe titled ‘The Coffee Pot.’ Its other facilities include a swimming pool, billiards room, hairdresser, amphitheatre, dining room and gym.
Stockland’s General Manager of Retirement Living, Kirrily Lord, says the new centre provides residents with a renewed sense of belonging, and an increased sense of comfort.
“The Community Centre at The Willows Retirement Village has been its lifeblood since 1992, and so we’re delighted to be able to upgrade the space, which includes new classic and contemporary fixtures and furnishings that are warm, comforting and inspire a sense of belonging,” she says.
“The new Community Centre will offer residents a fresh and modern environment in which they can relax, socialise or grab a hot coffee and snack with family and friends in the brand new, fully equipped café.”
Member for Seven Hills, Mark Taylor LLM MP was on show for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday with Stockland representatives. Taylor says he looks forward to seeing the centre growing into a highly regarded community facility for members of the village.
“Congratulations to Stockland’s The Willows Retirement Village at Winston Hills on the opening of the new community centre. It’s fantastic to see such a high quality refurbishment with a wide range of amenities available to residents, after what has been a particularly challenging past year,” he says.
“I’m certain the new centre will bring a new lease of life to the community and be an asset for all residents to enjoy for years to come.”
The Willows residents Tony and Anne Kitto, who have lived in the community for the past four years, say the centre will be utilised heavily by the community thanks to the recent upgrades.
“We’ve been eagerly awaiting the reopening of the Community Centre and it's safe to say that the upgrade does not disappoint. The facilities are exceptional and the finishes and decor are truly top notch.
“We love living in The Willows and look forward to enjoying many good times in the new centre with family and friends.”

As the Catholic Church celebrated its most significant week in the liturgical calendar
Fr Raning Creta was having his own special occasion
the former Parish Priest of St Paul the Apostle Parish
Winston Hills has celebrated the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood
Fr Raning is still humbled by the experience of being able to share in the ministry of the Lord
Fr Raning Creta during the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood at St Paul the Apostle Parish
“It’s a really happy experience and a great blessing,” Fr Raning told Catholic Outlook
“I have experienced the Lord guiding me in many different ways
“The Lord has offered me to share His priesthood despite my own inadequacies and brokenness
“I look at the priesthood as not only doing something for the people
but God wanting to continue to bless the people that I minister to through me
“Come and see” experience led Fr Raning to priesthood
Fr Raning’s pathway to the priesthood began during the fourth year of high school in the Philippines
when he had the opportunity to meet with seminarians who invited those interested in becoming a priest to a weekend visit at the seminary
After being immersed into the life of a seminarian
Fr Raning was interviewed by the seminary’s Dean and its Rector and after passing an exam
He studied at the St Francis Xavier college seminary in 1974 for four years and then attended the St Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary
Fr Raning was ordained to the priesthood at his home parish of Virgen Dolorosa (Our Lady of Sorrows) in Davao City
my father strongly objected to it because I was the only boy in my family and it took him some time to support me,” he said
“My father wasn’t a strong Catholic before I joined the seminary
but when he started supporting me in my journey to the priesthood
“Realising what happened to my parents when they started supporting me inspired and encouraged me in my vocation.”
whilst he was serving in a parish coincidentally called St Paul’s
Fr Raning was requested by his Archbishop Fernando Capalla to move to Australia to become the new Chaplain to the Filipino Catholic Chaplaincy in the Diocese of Parramatta
who was a priest from the same Diocese in the Philippines
I had two professors in the seminary who were from Australia and I heard so much about it
it did not take me very long to get to know people
I met a lot of Filipinos and befriended them right away
I was living at St Michael’s Church Blacktown South and two of the priests who were there at the time – Fr Kevin Dadswell and Fr Zakaria Gayed – were very friendly and accommodating
They made me feel so at home and it helped me settle in.”
Fr Raning was appointed as the second ever Parish Priest at Winston Hills
following on from the dedicated service of Fr David Scott
“I have been blown away by the commitment of the people to their spiritual life and to the community,” Fr Raning described his community
Parish Priest Fr Raning Creta blesses the palms of parishioners during Palm Sunday Mass at St Paul the Apostle Parish
“It would have been difficult for me to come into the parish after the previous priest was there for 40 years
but I definitely felt so at home and the people were so hospitable and friendly
“These are the characteristics that the people here at St Paul’s can be proud of.”
Moving into the later stages of his ministry

A mother and her little boy were allegedly stabbed to death inside a martial arts studio shortly before her estranged husband was killed less than five kilometres away after a suspected love triangle turned sour
The bodies of Min Cho and her seven-year-old son Benjamin were found inside the studio in North Parramatta in western Sydney on Tuesday
two hours after her estranged husband Steven Cho was found dead in their nearby home at Baulkham Hills
and is in hospital under police guard after he underwent emergency surgery for knife wounds
Mr Yoo runs Lion's Taekwondo studio in North Parramatta
where it's believed that Ms Cho and Benjamin - a Year 2 pupil at Winston Hills Public School - were stabbed to death inside the gym before their bodies were dragged outside into an adjacent alleyway
Police are looking into whether Mr Yoo was romantically linked to Ms Cho and if their relationship had recently soured
Police believe the three deaths likely occurred within a five-hour period between 8pm Monday night and 1am Tuesday morning
It's understood that Mr Yoo presented himself to Westmead Hospital early Tuesday morning bloodied and suffering from serious injuries
Hospital staff called in police to investigate his injuries after Mr Yoo told them that he was injured at his taekwondo studio on Monday night
The body of Ms Cho's estranged husband Stephen was found in the kitchen of his Watkins Road townhouse in Baulkham Hills
Mr Cho's mother was said to have arrived at the home earlier in the day to be told by police that 'her entire family was wiped out'
Benjamin had just started year 2 at Winston Hills Public School
Horrified parents revealed that they were sent a 'weird text' by the Lion's Taekwondo studio on Tuesday morning
The message said lessons were cancelled because the academy's chief instructor
'Due to injuries resulting from a car accident this morning
Master is currently in the hospital,' it said
Taekwondo classes will be temporarily suspended starting today.'
One mother admitted she knew it was 'clearly not a car accident when I saw all the police outside the studio when I went to pick up the kids from school'
is believed to be married with a young son
Parents of his students described him as a 'lovely man who is very quiet and timid'
'How he's connected to all this is what troubles me,' said one mother
The crime scene at Lion's Academy at Daking Street has been sealed off
with firefighters covering up the windows of the martial arts studio
It's understood the black plastic across all the windows facing onto the main street was put up to hide the grisly scene inside the studio from bystanders
Forensic officers were also seen scouring an alleyway at the side of the academy building
where locals said they had been told a body had been found
one detective raced out of a car and ran down the driveway at about 3.15pm
ducking under the police tape and into the crime scene
The front window of the townhouse has also been smashed
with shattered glass sprayed on to the concrete outside
State Crime Command Homicide Squad has now taken over the investigation

The hills are alive with the sound of buyers demanding a slice of some of NSW’s hottest suburbs in 2021.Hills district suburbs
dominated a realestate.com.au list of Sydney’s most in-demand suburbs for houses and units
based on average views per listing.Hunters Hill topped out the list of popular pockets for houses
while suburbs like Balgowlah and Wollstonecraft received a lot of attention for people hunting for units
PropTrack director of economic research Cameron Kusher said a range of factors were driving demand in suburbs like Baulkham Hills and Winston Hills
“A lot of buyers are looking at areas of strong price growth that also include good lifestyle options,” Mr Kusher said
we will see a number of returning white collar expats that will continue to drive growth in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and the Hills District.”
there’s been a reluctance to list their properties during a pandemic
With restrictions being loosened and confidence on the rise
we can expect to see more activity in the Sydney market next year.”Tracey Dixon has worked in the real estate industry for over 17 years and is a Partner of McGrath Hunters Hill
Ms Dixon told The Saturday Telegraph she was not surprised to hear the area had come out on top
“Hunters Hill really is a rare jewel when it comes to suburbs in Sydney
People go through their life cycle here; they move in as a young couple
upgrade their house when they start a family
downsize when their kids move out and happily retire here in their later years,” Ms Dixon said
Hunters Hill topped the list of most in demand suburbs
the second most in-demand suburb on the list
North Rocks has been slowly gaining traction over the past few years as buyers are noticing all the things that the suburb has to offer.“With connections to arterial roads and some of the state’s top public schools in the area
North Rocks is a bit of an underdog when it comes to places buyers want to live,” Mr Perram said.“A large part of the appeal is the block sizes of the homes; a lot of young families move into the area and reshape their home to fit their needs.”
expats could radically shift which suburbs are popular
“With the shopping district being renewed and redeveloped to make it more accessible for locals
the whole area has been under going significant transformation.”Balgowlah topped the list for most in-demand suburbs for viewers looking to buy a unit
The northern Sydney suburb is located 12km north-east of the CBD
making it a good spot for families to access schools and parks in a prime location
Balgowlah topped the list of the most in demand suburbs for units in NSW 2021 – real estate
Geologist Stephanie Kovach purchased a unit with her brother William Kovach on 2/465 Sydney Road in the suburb for $1,050,000 with the help of McGrath Collaroy/Dee Why Sales Agents Mario Esposito and Giovanni Di Mauro in July this year.Ms Kovach
was looking for a property where she could make the most of the sunny lifestyle and ultimately decided Balgowlah had everything she and her brother William were looking for.“My brother and I love the beaches
but I wanted to move somewhere where I could enjoy the sun and be close to the city,” Ms Kovach explained
Balgowlah’s proximity to the city and the northern beaches makes it an attractive suburb for potential buyers
Younger people have been predominantly snatching up property in Balgowlah
Minutes away from the beaches and shopping centres of Stocklands at Balgowlah and Warringah Mall
the unit features two spacious bedrooms fitted with built-in wardrobes
Mr Esposito said he’s not surprised to hear Balgowlah topped the list for most in demand units
telling the Saturday Telegraph that greater numbers of people are considering a home on the Northern Beaches.“Traditionally Balgowlah has done well when it comes to high demand for units
it’s the first stop on the Northern Beaches – meaning people have easy access to the lifestyle and Sydney’s CBD,” Mr Esposito said.“We’re seeing a greater number of predominantly younger buyers snatching up property in the area
Usually it’s a couple consisting of one person who’s from the beaches and one who is not.”
Baulkham Hills was a popular suburb for buyers seeking larger blocks
there’s a similar pattern for suburbs to be boosted in popularity by offering work-from-home options and a change in lifestyle. The strength in views per listings for units in areas like Byron Bay
Jindabyne and Pottsville could suggest a shift in potential buyers looking to purchase holiday apartments
“Assuming lockdowns have ended once and for all
there is the potential that we could start to see a slow reversal of these trends
While many of these places are nice for a holiday
they offer very different things to major cities,” Mr Kusher said
“People that have moved into regional areas may find they start to desire city life
particularly as people return to the office and amenities such as restaurants and bars

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday 12 November at St Paul the Apostle Church at Winston Hills. The Vigil Mass will be in St Paul’s Church at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11 November.
Fr David was Pastor Emeritus of St Paul the Apostle Parish. Appointed Parish Priest in 1970, he retired from active ministry in 2010.
In 2011, Fr David Cross received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice from Bishop Anthony Fisher OP at the Chrism Mass. Also known as the ‘Cross of Honour’, the medal was established by Leo XIII in 1888, and is currently given for distinguished service to the Church by lay people and clergy.
He was born at Rosebery in 1926 to Jack and Gladys Scott. The stained glass window behind the altar in St Paul the Apostle Church is dedicated to them.
He was the middle of three brothers – Michael is the youngest and John who died in 2009 was the eldest.
The young David grew up in Kingsford in St Michael’s Parish at Daceyville. He was educated at the parish primary school and what was then Marist Randwick (now Marcellin College).
On leaving school, he entered St Columba’s Seminary at Springwood and completed his studies at St Patrick’s Seminary at Manly.

Fr Roger Wynne at North Parramatta had procured the land on behalf of the Archdiocese of Sydney. In 1970, Fr David was appointed the first parish priest and was instrumental in the purchase of, or construction of, the church, presbytery, convent and school buildings.
As well as being their pastor, he was highly regarded by parishioners as a good administrator.
Fr David retired from active ministry in 2010 and regarded the years he spent at Winston Hills as the highlight of his priestly ministry.
His brother, Michael, said David was well known for his love of sport, in particular golf. For many years he had played a round every Monday at St Michael’s Golf Club.
If you asked any of the many people whose lives have connected with Fr David what stands out most, they would point to his devotion to the Rabbitohs South Sydney football team.
