Several new food items were released at Walt Disney World
One of those new items is the Kessel Run Rations
located at the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge
Flaky pretzel croissants sprinkled with smoked sea salt and served with caramel-chocolate sauce
The Kessel Run Rations are only available May 4 through May 31 at the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge
The three small croissants were tough and cold
this may have been affected by rainy and humid weather
The caramel-chocolate sauce is nice and rich and they give you plenty for the croissants
The price is a little steep for the amount and quality
We wouldn’t travel any smuggling routes for this one

Dee Kessel was "fearfully and wonderfully made," born on March 22
She always called Chattanooga her earthly home
She graduated as valedictorian from Central High School in 1957
She attended college at the University of Tennessee Memphis before marrying and becoming a mother
Jan Harley (Steve) and Dana Bryan (Gary); her grandchildren
She also leaves many dear and precious friends
A devoted member of Hixson Presbyterian Church for many decades
Dee volunteered often throughout the years with organizations such as Hospice and Meals on Wheels
She spent her later years as a selfless caregiver for her late husband and daughter
Morning Pointe of Hixson became Dee's home where she was loved and cared for by their precious staff who became a second family
Friends there remembered her as "our leader and the sweet lady who loved and was always walking!" Most recently
Dee was cared for by wonderful Hearth Hospice and Solomon's House
Dee loved the poem "A Psalm of Life" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and often quoted it
And the grave is not its goal; dust thou art
was not spoken of the soul." Dee's life was reflected the final thoughts of that poem: "And departing leave behind us footprints on the sands of time..
that perhaps a forlorn and shipwrecked brother
with a heart for any fate; still achieving
learn to labor and to wait." Dee's earthly wait is now over
but her faithful footprints remain on many hearts
Dee would remind herself and others that "This is the day that the Lord has made." Her family is rejoicing and glad that she is with her Heavenly Father and Shepherd in her eternal home
and they are assured that when she fell asleep on earth
Dee's shared vision of heaven was that her sight and hearing would be restored
and she would see God's beauty while sitting under a tree reading a book
She is so dearly loved and will be greatly missed
Her smile brightened the room and shone for the Lord
Dee always requested that there be no services after her passing
except for her family to share and scatter her ashes and to "love one another." The family shares that wish with all her friends
By this all people will know that you are my disciples
if you have love for one another" (John 13:34-35)

Mary Jo Kessel’s spirit transcended her earthly body to meet her Lord and Saviour

She was the ninth child in a bustling household of twelve
Mary Jo brought a spark and spontaneity to the Werlinger clan
A natural-born storyteller with a flair for the dramatic in the best possible way
she had a magnetic presence that drew people in
Her mother often found herself laughing while recounting the latest “Mary Jo Adventure,” which quickly became legendary among friends and townsfolk alike
Mary Jo took that same zest for life with her to Dickinson State College
where she earned her teaching degree - her life’s true vocation
a man who would become her partner in love
Mary Jo did not just fall in love - she loved boldly
and unapologetically in her own beautifully unique way
she and Tom brought Destiny and Tomi into the world
Though the family moved frequently early on
where Mary Jo established herself as a teacher
Teaching was not her job; it was her superpower
She likely holds the record for Teacher of the Year
baby-of-the-bunch who completed her family
Mary Jo continued to drive the long road to Fort Yates
never wavering in her belief that her purpose lived inside those classroom walls with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
a place where she sprinkled joy like confetti
whether in line at the grocery store or just passing someone on the sidewalk
She and Tom eventually went their separate ways but never let paperwork dictate family - holidays
She faced breast cancer with fire in her soul and laughter on her lips
she turned around and lifted others going through the same battle
came another diagnosis - Stage 4 colon cancer
“Bring it on,” was more her speed
She lived by the motto: the greater the struggle
and she lived it with every ounce of her being
Mary Jo was the kind of believer who walked the talk of her faith
She worshipped wherever the Spirit led her
soaked up every Bible study she could find
and spread the Word with kindness and courage
She had an uncanny way of knowing when someone needed “a little more Jesus,” and she was always there to deliver - sometimes with prayer
Mary Jo’s childlike sense of wonder facilitated her magical ability to connect with kids
She adored her children and was utterly smitten with her grandchildren - Drake
She bragged about them like it was a competitive sport
Mary Jo did not simply enter a room - she changed the chemistry of it
through every appointment and chemotherapy session
it often brightened the entire waiting room
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers
David John and Timothy Werlinger; and her sister
She is survived by her children: Destiny (Chris) Belmont
and Aleksander Sol Kessel (Poland); two brothers
and a wildly loving extended family of nieces
each one held tightly in her enormous heart
Mary Jo leaves behind a fierce love for her family
a boundless passion for teaching and children
and a sparkle and zest for life that lifted everyone around her

Kessel Racing has confirmed its driver crews for 2025, which will see the experienced Swiss squad launch another assault on the Bronze Cup class.
Nicolo Rosi, Niccolo Schiro and David Fumanelli will share the #8 Ferrari, continuing unchanged from 2024. The trio scored victory in the season-opening round at Circuit Paul Ricard but did not return to the podium thereafter, ultimately taking eighth in the standings.
While the driving strength is unchanged, the livery of the #8 entry is dramatically different. Gone is the blue colour scheme, replaced by a black base with neon graffiti effect (below). This car will compete in the five Endurance Cup rounds, highlighted by the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa (25-29 June).
The #74 Ferrari brings together Dustin Blattner, Dennis Marschall and Conrad Laursen. The latter makes his series debut following success in Formula 4 and the European Le Mans Series. Laursen will contest the Endurance Cup, as his father Johnny did in 2014.
Blattner and Marschall will run the full season, transferring over from the #97 Rutronik Porsche in which they were highly impressive last term. The duo finished third in both Sprint and Endurance, taking them to within two points of snatching the overall Bronze drivers' title. They also ensured that Rutronik earned the overall Bronze teams' title.
Kessel Racing is currently on-track at Circuit Paul Ricard for the season Prologue where its cars are running without their 2025 liveries. They will be in full colours when the campaign begins at the French venue on 11–13 April.

Phil Kessel was a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins for 1,460 glorious
Those four seasons produced two championships
130 goals (20 of which came in the postseason)
a divorce that was more complicated than it was nasty
why did the Penguins decide to trade Kessel to the Coyotes one year ago today
• Kessel and Mike Sullivan couldn’t work together anymore
the Penguins are arguably better without him and the trade that felt inevitable for a year before it happened remains a polarizing topic for a Penguins fan base that quickly and unapologetically loved No
but to suggest they couldn’t work together probably isn’t accurate
When Sullivan is asked about Kessel
like a teacher finally cracking a smile when a class clown makes a funny comment
there’s absolutely no question that Sullivan admires Kessel’s physical gifts
there’s also no question that Kessel comes with an expiration date with coaches
Those who have coached him rarely speak well of him
the legendary former Boston University coach
who happens to be Sullivan’s close friend and mentor: “I wouldn’t coach Kessel if he was playing across the street
I know Michael had his battles with Kessel
He got a lot of out Kessel and they won championships together.”
I’m not privy to private conversations between Sullivan and Parker
Perhaps Sullivan vented to his old friend about Kessel a time or two
Kessel vented about Sullivan to his former teammates
summed up Kessel’s feelings toward Sullivan this way: “I don’t think Phil hated Sully
I just don’t think Phil likes coaches or being told what to do
Sully got on him during a flight one time for not playing more of a two-way game
Kessel’s postseason brilliance made up for much of his occasionally lackluster two-way performances during the regular season
Some members of the Penguins’ blue line used to refer to Kessel’s defensive zone area along the right-wing boards as “the black hole” because he wasn’t always the most reliable player in his own territory
played hard and is among the most clutch players of his era
The Penguins don’t win the Stanley Cup in 2016 or 2017 without him
Rutherford maintains that the relationship between Sullivan and Kessel wasn’t the reason for the trade
“There were times when they weren’t going to agree on things
like what line he was on and whatnot,” Rutherford said
“But it was probably blown out of proportion.”
Rutherford surprised reporters when he said that Kessel asked to be traded numerous times during the 2018-19 season
Kessel cryptically offered a denial of sorts
“I’m not sure that’s exactly what happened,” Kessel said
‘(You’ll) never be a Penguin again.’ I think he’s mistaken a little bit there
I’m not here to tell you what really happened and the real truth
have been nothing but complimentary of Kessel since his departure
that things would probably go sideways for Kessel in Pittsburgh if the Penguins ever stopped winning
As long as the Stanley Cups were being compiled
the Penguins were perfectly satisfied implementing the laissez-faire approach toward him that he preferred
Kessel’s first two springs in Pittsburgh produced two championships
with him playing a starring role in the production
Even though the 2017-18 campaign ended in the third of a trilogy of classic series against the Capitals
He powered a historically effective power play in his third year in Pittsburgh
scored 34 goals and finished with 92 points
He started on a hot streak in his fourth season with the Penguins
but stumbled badly in the season’s second half and never seemed to find his groove
Sullivan has never been more frustrated with the Penguins than he was in the spring of 2019
They were playing a freewheeling brand of hockey that the coach knew wouldn’t work in the postseason
especially against the defensively-tight Islanders
Days after the Penguins were swept by a team with clearly inferior talent
Rutherford let other general managers know that changes were coming to the Penguins and the Kessel was available
Multiple sources in the organization confirm that Kessel did indeed ask Rutherford for a trade
Nobody in the organization believes Kessel demanded a trade
but that Kessel and Rutherford came to a mutual agreement that it was best for him to move on
“It’s not something that I want to get into,” Rutherford said a year later
Given Kessel’s productivity and age, the $6.8 million that the Penguins paid him every season — remember, the Maple Leafs pick up $1.2 million of his contract — seemed perfectly reasonable
suggested that money was the biggest reason the Penguins ultimately moved on from the mercurial one
“It was ultimately a cap thing,” Rutherford said
“There’s really not that much more to talk about
You get forced to make certain moves because of the cap
Kessel vetoed it because he wanted to play for old friend Rick Tocchet in Arizona
we were fortunate to be able to move him,” Rutherford said
We’re still up against the cap even without him and without (Alex Galchenyuk
who was traded to Minnesota in the deal that did indeed see the Penguins get their man in Zucker)
We had to take a player that Arizona wanted to move to make it work for them.”
They want wingers to take defenders away from them as opposed to inviting them into the middle of the ice
Still, Rutherford said moving Kessel’s contract was important. Also, the Penguins acquired defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph in the deal
a player the Penguins believe will be in their top six by the 2021-22 season at the latest
“We feel really good about him and how good he can be,” Rutherford said
we opened up some cap space and got a really good prospect
I just view that trade as a cap thing more than anything else
It just gets to the point that teams are forced to move certain guys.”
No one likes to touch this one out of respect for Kessel
will acknowledge what the numbers appear to indicate
Kessel turns 33 in October and is legendary for his relative indifference to keeping himself in top condition
It would seem logical that his game would begin to decline around this age
The numbers offer an unforgiving view of a star who likely has seen his best days
Something happened to Kessel around the beginning of February in his last season with the Penguins and he’s never really recovered
In the past 102 games — 70 with the Coyotes and 32 with the Penguins — Kessel has managed only eight even-strength goals
Kessel scored 25 even-strength goals in his previous 102-game stretch
While plus-minus can be a very deceptive statistic
when a player is located at one or extreme or the other
In Kessel’s past 164 games — the equivalent of two full seasons — he is a minus-45
Kessel was a plus-11 in his previous 164 games
Obviously Kessel had more talent to work with in Pittsburgh
It’s been more of the same in Arizona and his head coach doesn’t sugarcoat what he is seeing
“Phil would look you right in the eye and tell you he had a bad year,” Tocchet said
“I know he is disappointed with the season that he had
Here’s the bottom line about Kessel’s time in Pittsburgh:
• Coaches never expected him to be a Selke candidate and
tolerated his quirks because of his talent and big-game greatness
• When the Stanley Cup years started to get distant in the rearview mirror
it was determined that Kessel’s time had come to an end
A microcosm of the Kessel era always took place at the end of Penguins’ practices
players would gather in a circle to stretch for a few minutes before leaving the ice
Kessel never felt the need to stretch with his teammates
and would instead shoot pucks into a vacant net by himself
and isn’t that why everyone loves Kessel so much
But it wasn’t the kind of behavior that endears a player to an organization when the winning stops
Rutherford and Sullivan will never publicly bash Kessel and
the Penguins’ organization didn’t try to change his mind
Any effort to do so almost surely would have been futile
That very antihero brashness is precisely why Kessel is such a killer in the biggest of games and made him a perfect personality in the Penguins’ locker room
Those in awe of Crosby and Malkin never thrive with them
The most secure of personalities — think Billy Guerin
Pascal Dupuis — flourish alongside the Penguins’ stars
Kessel was the guy who was meant to play with them and help transform them from generational talents into icons
But that same brashness was never going to work in the long run
“I think it was just time,” Rutherford said

FAIRFIELD – Kessel’s Conoco Station at the corner of West Burlington and South Fourth in Fairfield has been owned by the same family for 79 years
the third generation of Kessels to own the gas station and auto repair shop
The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce will recognize this extraordinary longevity by presenting Steve with the Legacy Award during the chamber’s annual awards banquet on April 24
The Kessel family purchased the Conoco station on West Burlington in 1946
It was a joint venture between Steve’s father George and his grandfather Clarence after George returned from serving in World War II
and George specialized in automotive work in the military
Those early days at Kessel’s Conoco were a bit different from today
so they did more extensive engine overhauls

Steve began working for the business when he was in high school in the late 1970s
That was in addition to his job at the Handy Pantry grocery store
but I had to work here [gas station] every Saturday and Sunday morning with him,” he said

He came back to Fairfield to work for his dad

Steve said he stays busy working on brakes
He mentioned that overhauling engines has become too labor intensive
“I’m lucky if I don’t get interrupted every 15 minutes,” he said
explaining why he’s no longer interested in those projects

Steve said he is gratified to learn that Kessel’s Conoco will be honored with the Legacy Award later this month from the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce
“Kessel’s Conoco has been here 79 years
The legacy of the Kessel family working at the gas station actually goes beyond three generations
Steve’s nephew Alex Kessel worked at the business in high school
making him the fourth generation of Kessels to work there
and now Steve’s great-nephew Benjamin Hunter is also working for the business in high school
Steve said the most challenging part of his job is dealing with regulations on gasoline
and the most rewarding part of his job is getting to visit with customers
“I like trying to figure out if I can help them make better decisions
‘How do you work this thing on my dash?’” he said

NHL veteran Phil Kessel is not looking to call it quits on his career just yet
Despite Kessel not playing since the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs
he's still seeking an opportunity in the league
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman told Kyle Bukauskas on 32 Thoughts: The Podcast
Paul Bissonnette had a tweet this week about 'How come Kessel can't get a job?' and I was looking at it because I had heard
that Kessel was calling teams and really wanted to play
and then I heard from a couple of people that he's legit about it."
The 36-year-old Kessel was not able to land a spot on an NHL roster for the 2023-24 season. He worked out and skated with the Vancouver Canucks' AHL affiliate ahead of the NHL trade deadline
but ultimately did not get signed by the team
Kessel, a three-time NHL All-Star, last played with the Vegas Golden Knights
scoring 14 goals and 36 points in 82 games
He would go on to win his third Stanley Cup with Vegas
although in a limited role where he had two assists in four playoff games
579 assists) in 1,286 games are the 12th-most all-time among American players
He also holds the NHL record for the longest Ironman streak
having played 1,064 consecutive regular-season games
According to Friedman, Kessel was also in talks at one point to potentially play in a proposed 3-on-3 league that was set to be launched by Major League Hockey. The start of that league has since been postponed to October 2025.
"That 3-on-3 league that was supposed to start up but didn't, I heard Kessel was one of the guys they were really talking to about playing there," said Friedman.
However, when it comes to the NHL, interest seems to be lacking. Given his age and the fact that he missed an entire season, taking on Kessel would be a gamble for any team. But, perhaps we'll see him land a professional tryout before the start of the season.
"He wants to play. He loves hockey and he wants to play," added Friedman.
"I don't know if this is going to happen, but it's very, very legitimate that he has put it out there that he wants to play."

a longtime public servant in North Dakota state and local government
has announced that he will not be continuing his role under the new gubernatorial administration
According to a statement posted on Kessel’s LinkedIn page
Kelly Armstrong’s administration on Monday brought his state service to an unexpectedly early conclusion
Kessel’s departure marks the end of a seven-year period working at the state level
during which he served under the leadership of former Gov
Doug Burgum and four different Commerce Commissioners
His tenure included holding the position of Deputy Commissioner at the North Dakota Department of Commerce
he contributed to various economic development strategies and worked to attract new businesses
strengthen existing industries and foster an environment intended to support long-term prosperity in the state
Prior to joining the Burgum administration
Kessel had a notable track record in municipal government
He served as the City Administrator for Dickinson
guided strategic planning and worked closely with city commissioners to address the community’s evolving needs
Dickinson navigated periods of both economic growth and volatility
responding to opportunities and challenges related to the regional energy sector
expressed gratitude for his time in service and acknowledged the “surprising” end to his tenure with the state
Burgum for his vision and leadership and applauded the Commerce Department team
reflecting on the accomplishments they achieved together
While Kessel did not elaborate on the reasons for his non-retention,new governors often review existing personnel
management style and long-term priorities and these transitions can lead to turnover as the new executive leadership seeks to implement its agenda and appoint officials aligned with their vision for the state’s future
has not yet provided comment on the decision not to retain Kessel
The element requested is either not valid or does not exist
Even though it’s been really warm the past couple of weeks
have you noticed that it’s getting a little cooler at night
Pittsburgh Penguins training camp arrives next week in Cranberry
before we get into the grind of daily coverage
it seemed like an appropriate time for a mailbag
Does Phil Kessel have a Hall of Fame case
Everyone’s favorite three-time Stanley Cup champion
I’ll show up in Toronto if he’s inducted into the Hall of Fame someday
I’d love to write that article and I think he’s an interesting case
But my instincts tell me that Kessel isn’t a Hall of Famer
He may well have been on track after the Penguins’ second Cup
but his numbers really dwindled in his 30s
But then again, if Kevin Lowe is in the Hockey Hall of Fame, how does Kessel not belong? I’m a big believer that the Hall of Fame should be for the true, all-time greats. I don’t put Kessel in that territory
he’s better than some players who are in the Hall
Any chance Kyle Dubas brings Kessel back for a final go-around
But for all that we love to joke about “everyman Phil,” etc.
he doesn’t take care of himself physically the way others do
and that’s why we’ve seen such a substantial regression in his recent play
Would the Pens consider load management for their aging roster
I wouldn’t expect the big boys to get any nights off if they’re healthy
That said, the Penguins should really think about it. We saw Sidney Crosby look tired in March last season, words I’ve never typed before. We saw fatigue in Evgeni Malkin’s game
If the Penguins are comfortably in playoff position come March — and yes
given the quality of the Eastern Conference — they should rest some of their big names
Erik Karlsson is one of the best PP QB’s in the game. So, what do they do with Kris Letang
I believe they will both start the season on the top unit largely because Jake Guentzel is going to miss most of October
My guess is Karlsson at the point and Letang on the left wing wall
The Penguins will experiment with many different looks in camp and in the early portion of the season
We will all talk about it enthusiastically every time it happens
but think about it: They should be exploring different looks with Karlsson on the roster
The real question is what happens when Guentzel returns
Don’t be shocked if Letang is placed on the second unit
Is this year’s Pens team significantly better than last year’s
It’s definitely better. Significantly better? Perhaps. The top six is a wash with Reilly Smith replacing Jason Zucker
The bottom six should be considerably better in the defensive zone and should also be slightly more proficient offensively
If Tristan Jarry is healthy
Any Karlsson interactions that you’ve had since being on the Pens beat
I’ve encountered him over the years because the Penguins and Senators have danced in the playoffs many times
He can get a little ornery with the media after losses
My favorite thing about Karlsson — those who know him better than me in Ottawa will confirm this — is that he never lies
I could see the Florida Panthers taking a massive step back
I give them credit for what they did last spring
but they barely made the playoffs and a lot of things went their way
The Colorado Avalanche are suddenly way
What’s a good story that you’ve heard from Bob Errey
I don’t know if I have a story that sticks out
but I’m sure going to miss him around the rink
A genuinely good guy and someone whose enthusiasm for hockey and the Penguins is so authentic
especially that the Penguins waited until September
which makes it really hard to get jobs in the hockey media for this season
What is your favorite movie set or filmed in Western Pennsylvania
Gotta go with “The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh.” Look it up if you haven’t seen it
What is your favorite wing spot in the city or beyond
They have locations all over the city and they’re terrific
who would win in a fight between Marty McSorley and Jimmy from the 1989 epic “Road House?” — @kurri_jari
He was a born killer and gave Dalton everything he could handle
I don’t know if Jimmy ever befriended guys like Marty when he was in prison
Which are your favorite bars/venues to catch a Penguins game
I’m a terrible person to ask because I’m theoretically paid to attend and write about said games
I’m going to open this one up to anyone who wants to comment below
We do have a sports bar or two in this town
so I’m guessing you’ll receive some good suggestions
Thanks for all of the great questions everyone

Former National Hockey League star Phil Kessel has been signed by WPT Global as its newest brand ambassador
a popular player throughout his 17-year NHL career
will debut as a WPT Global representative at the WPT Playground Festival near Montreal
Kessel also spent the last of his 17 NHL seasons playing for the Las Vegas Golden Knights
where his friendship with poker superstar and Golden Knights enthusiast Daniel Negreanu flourished
I’m incredibly excited to work with WPT Global
I have been an avid poker player for over 20 years
and a huge fan of the World Poker Tour,” said Kessel
”I can’t wait to kick-off this relationship in Montreal and bring some cool experiences to fans.”
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Phil to the WPT Global brand,” said WPT Global president Alex Scott
“Phil has not only excelled as a world-class ice hockey player but is also a huge poker enthusiast who embodies the values we hold dear
and always striving to improve — qualities that make him a perfect fit for the WPT Global poker community.”
One of the early WPT Global promotions showcasing Kessel is set for late November. Kessel's Ironman Tournament will be invite-only, though new players can gain entry by registering with a special 'IRONKESSEL81' promo code, and existing WPT Global players can earn a tourney seat through other means
The event pays tribute to Kessel's stance as the NHL's reigning ironman
having played in 1,064 consecutive regular-season games through the end of the 2022-23 season
although he appears to be gently skating into a new professional role
The ironman streak is not Kessel's only honor
though it's his most distinctive hockey achievement
He's also been a member of three Stanley Cup-winning teams
and with over 400 goals and nearly 1,000 points tallied in his 17 regular seasons
he ranks among the top American-born players in NHL history

In 2025, the automotive landscape is filled with more restomods than ever, but there are still a few standouts, including Prodrive’s reborn Subaru Impreza: the P25
Considering Prodrive acted as Subaru’s works team back when the likes of Colin McRae was tearing up rally stages
there’s no better outfit to produce a modern-day reinterpretation of this rally icon
but The Flying Scotsman wasn’t the only man to compete in a Subaru at the time
Ronnie Kessel’s father and a racing legend in his own right
successfully competed in a Subaru Impreza WRC car himself
so when Prodrive announced a limited run of 25 examples of the P25 would be produced
We sat down to chat with him about his beauty in World Rally Blue Mica.
thanks so much for sharing your Prodrive P25 with us
Your father Loris Kessel was a supremely talented driver who competed in everything from F1 to Le Mans
Can you explain his connection to Subaru for our readers?
his mother gave him an old Alfetta which he modified for his first hillclimbs
Many people identify him as a track driver because of his F1 background
given our mountainous region and the affordable nature of it
he also completed his racing career by achieving his dream of racing prototypes and finishing 7th overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (1st among private teams) with the Porsche 962
he won the Rally of Ticino in a Subaru Impreza WRC
which was then one of the most coveted stages of the Swiss championship
It’s amazing what he achieved both on track and the rally stages
You yourself are quite the accomplished racing driver — what appeals to you about rally in particular?
Although my father was a great rally enthusiast
he always tried to keep me focused on track racing since our team
I developed my racing career solely in the GT world
This has certainly left me with a yearning for rally—a discipline that fascinates me deeply
Your Prodrive P25 is the spiritual successor to the WRC Subaru your father successfully raced in - how special is it to drive this car on the road and how does it compare to the car your father raced in?
When Prodrive announced this limited series of 25 cars dedicated to the golden years of the Subaru Impreza
I saw flashes of my father on the roof of the car with a trophy and champagne
myself as a child doing reconnaissances with him and my sister
and the desire to "dance" with a true queen of the snow through our mountain hairpin turns
what drew you to the P25 over the many other amazing restomods on the market?
I greatly respect those who've succeeded in this field
but I prefer classic cars in their original “juice"
as they were conceived as road cars or prepared as rally cars back then
The P25 finds itself in the middle: it’s the same manufacturer and multiple-time world champion winner that wanted to pay homage to this exceptional car by bringing it back to shine 25 years after its first victory—with some modern updates
but maintaining all its distinctive traits
You’ve been using the car to drive around St
how does it behave on the road and do you have any adventures planned with the car in the future?
I am a speed enthusiast on track and always advocate for respecting road regulations
This is a car to enjoy as it glides from one curve to another; among its 6 gears
you mainly use the first three to let yourself be carried from turn to turn
and the engine sound is better than any playlist
I use it to travel from home to the mountains
and to go out to dinner with friends in the evening
Every time it catches the eye of a fellow car enthusiast on the road
this little blue Japanese beauty never fails to bring a smile to their face
You'll find an amazing array of collector cars for sale with Kessel in the Classic Driver Market.
