Management Agreement Between the Government of Curaçao and Sint Michiel Baseball Academy Sharks
WILLEMSTAD – The Government of Curaçao has signed a management agreement with the Sint Michiel Baseball Academy Sharks organization. The Minister of Traffic, Transport, and Urban Planning, Mr. Charles Cooper, together with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Mr. Sithree van Heydoorn, signed the management agreement (‘beheersovereenkomst’) on behalf of the Government.
The Sint Michiel Baseball Academy Sharks organization had submitted a request to take responsibility for the development of the sports field in Klein St. Michiel. The total sports area measures 14,000 m², and the agreement grants the organization management rights for five years, with the possibility of an extension.
The Ministers expressed their satisfaction with this agreement, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the well-being of young athletes and providing opportunities for organizations that contribute to the country’s development. They also extended their gratitude and wished the organization great success.
A fire has gutted retail premises in the West Flemish city of Bruges. The fire broke out at around 4:30am on Monday on the Koningin Astridlaan in the Sint-Michiels area of the city. The Koningin Astridlaan was closed in both directions and police advised motorists to avoid the area between the Torhoutse Steenweg and the Expressway. Local residents were advised to keep their windows and doors closed.
The fire started at around 4:30am at the Sleeplife bed store. The Mayor of Bruges Dirk De fauw (Christian democrat) told VRT News that “The building was totally destroyed, but fortunately no one was injured.
“Fortunately, the fire was early in the morning and it was still cold outside so most people were asleep with their windows closed, because we fear that toxic substances might have been released into the air”.

“The memories with the teams (were special),” he said

She’s hoping to compete in more sports in Grade 10
She wants to “exceed my personal goals” in 2024-25

“It was a disappointing year (for results)
but other than that it was great,” he said

whether we actually regard this day as an actual holiday or not
as someone who has spent 10-plus years behind the bar
Throwing back pint after pint followed by shot after shot in the name of a heritage that is not yours is
this is just one drink slinger's opinion on how to celebrate St
Patrick's Day in the most considerate way possible..
Especially starting from the moment when you wake up
Just take your time and be conscious to the general public around you
Some folks are headed to their respected workplaces or have obligations to take care of
Beer dyed with food coloring is just gross
since my city of Chicago insists on doing the same thing to our entire main waterway.)
I have no real reason for saying this except for selfishness
I don't know what is Irish about a giant hat with glitter exploding from the top
Wearing green is just an obnoxious way to follow the herd
You can celebrate the holiday without roping yourself in with the rest of the crowd trying to put themselves under before the clock even strikes
Sometimes it's astonishing how little Americans know about The Troubles
an era that had families torn when Northern Ireland was set against its United Kingdom-friendly South
and that still haunts the streets of Belfast to this day
car bombs were a real thing to fear—they took many lives
devoid of any historical meaning or significance other than the fact that it contains Guinness
It's actually a really shitty way to celebrate St
so why not up your Irish whiskey intake with something special
or spread your wings with a low-key Irish whiskey called Powers
If you want to step your Irish whiskey game up even more
try Bushmills or the even classier Redbreast 12
which has super tasty notes of sweet brown sugar
if you really want to celebrate this joyous holiday
and for goodness sakes treat your bartenders with respect

ProsConsCool estate cars are becoming a rare breed
The inexorable rise of the SUV has gone hand-in-hand with the wagon falling out of favour
the Stelvio already has the practicality box ticked
and while the SUV hasn’t ever been directly blamed for the demise of the five-door M5
you can’t help but wonder if the existence of the X5M has meant there just isn’t room for it
Particularly given that it comes from Porsche - the majority of the cars it sells now are SUVs
But it’s a surprise of a thoroughly pleasant nature
as I found in my first drive of the £83,288 E-Hybrid version
The standard ‘fastback’ model is already a huge step forward in the aesthetics department compared to its fugly predecessor
but adding that boot has done wonders for the Panamera
purposeful and ready to gobble up your favourite road at a moment’s notice
this is where it gets a little complicated
since our test Panamera ST was the E-Hybrid version
And it’s over 300kg heavier than the entry-level V6
See alsoAbt Unveils Audi Quattro Restomod With 523bhp On top of that you can factor in a more minor 30kg weight increase for the ST’s ass
And you do feel that weight as you start to play with the limits of what the all-wheel drive E-Hybrid is capable of
It can be hustled quickly down a twisty road
but this particular ST quickly starts to feel unwieldy and uncomfortable with its mass
as though it’s just been told to run through an obstacle course after scoffing a massive takeaway
There’s a hell of a lot of grip and traction on offer - helped by vast rear tyres that are wider than those you’d find on the back of a 911 GT3 - and it certainly doesn’t feel slow
Up front you’ll find a twin-turbocharged V6 producing 326bhp and 332lb ft of torque
teaming up with an electric motor that belts out 134bhp and 295lb ft of delicious
this gives you a total system power of 456bhp and 516lb ft
But the raw numbers can’t adequately relay the sheer sense of surprise when it comes to the way this thing accelerates
both on the move and from a standstill with launch control
When you’re playing around with the latter feature
the E-Hybrid feels damn near as aggressive as the V8-powered Turbo model as it shoots you off the line
and the power delivery is far more interesting than that of the conventional 4S
It’s also supremely effective at combating turbo lag
whether or not this is the Sport Turismo for you depends entirely upon how you’re going to drive it
If you do a lot of shorter trips and have somewhere to fully charge the 14kWh battery before you leave the house
the benefits are huge - without really trying
I managed to clock 90mpg on a trip to the next town over
with the engine only kicking in a few times
Plus you’ll have less boot space to play with thanks to all the hybrid guts - with the rear seats up
the E-Hybrid has a 420-litre capacity as opposed to 520
the ST is already more popular than the fastback
There are plenty of other engine options available however
and each is a compelling alternative to the de rigueur posho SUV
the cabin is beautifully trimmed and the tech is amazing - I’m in love with that gigantic touch screen
even if it’s not the easiest unit to get used to
high-riding chunk of pomposity from one of the German big three
I can guarantee it’ll be neither this handsome or as good to drive as a Panamera Sport Turismo

furniture) you would be able to use the space above the measured luggage area in a way you wouldn’t be able to with the hatch
but my tastes are probably more suited to the sportier E63 S Estate or Alpina B5 Touring
This is more of a luxury car with a dash of sportiness than a sporty car with some luxury
In reply to by TheMindGarage
then we still would have to drive behind these SUVs looking ot their bulky
behemoth like monstrosity of a figure…It’s always a pleasure looking at wagons instead of SUVs
In reply to by Rahul 1
On paper it makes no sense as to why Porsche made this seeing as they have the standard Panamera
That moment you notice that the first picture is taken at a place you pass a lot on your way to school/going back from school
Did you guys take these pictures or are they taken from the interwebs
In reply to by Anonymous (not verified)
We took them on the way to Ghent coming from De Haan
it must be kind of disappointing how the e-Hybrid corners
you‘ll always feel the weight. Will you guys be able to test a Mercedes S560e
I drive it a lot at work and a comparison to the Porsche would be interesting due to the Merc‘s RWD
In reply to by BlueLion205
they said the handling is very good and sharp
Not to mention most big cars are over 2 tons nowdays
The panamera is also as big as the S class
In reply to by Tseko
Or what we know as “SUVs” in 2018… not saying there aren’t any good but you get me
the Crossovers and SUV will gradually claim their identities as “grand coupe”
Saw this car for the first time when I was in germany in December
I walked into the dealer and I didn’t know what it was
I think the interior is well balanced (luxury /sporty) it’s truly one of the best interiors I’ve ever seen thanks Porsche

but there are many picturesque cities and to choose from when looking at where to live in Belgium
By Gary Buswell
Beyond living in Brussels there are plenty of Belgian cities and communes that make great homes for expatriates moving to Belgium. With good road networks in Belgium
it’s possible to live farther afield than Brussels and commute to work
With Belgium renowned for having some of the worst traffic jams in Europe, being connected to the Belgian public transport system may also help you consider where to live in Belgium
Here are some of the best Belgian cities to live in
Spotahome takes the hassle out of househunting by doing the hard work for you
and book rental properties all from the comfort of your own home
Take the stress out of househunting in Belgium with Spotahome
one of which is actually called the City of Brussels
The best municipalities in Brussels include Etterbeek and Ixelles (Dutch: Elsene) if you’re looking for beautiful architecture and cultural amenities; Uccle (Dutch: Ukkel) if you’re into green living; and Anderlecht if you’re after somewhere a bit cheaper
The city is ideal if you want to be at the center of where everything’s going on
there are probably better cities if you want a quiet environment or affordability
Read more about the cost of living in Brussels
Antwerp (Antwerpen) offers a truly multicultural environment with an ingrained mix of nationalities. There is a well-sized population of British and American families and a good choice of English-speaking clubs and societies, plus several international schools
which has the feel of a village within the city
Take a look into the cost of living in Antwerp. You can also read more in our guide to the best neighborhoods in Antwerp
Popularly known as the northern Venice, Bruges (Brugge) is one of Belgium’s most attractive cities with its cobbled lanes
Living in this little UNESCO World Heritage city takes you to Belgium’s historic past while still enjoying the comfort of a lively and modern atmosphere
Those seeking more action will find it in the Markt and eastern Burg neighborhoods. Both neighborhoods boast Bruges’ main attractions, such as the Belfry Tower
and a steady stream of horse-drawn carriages
If you have children or prefer to stay away from the center bustle
the districts in the outer ring beyond the canals are a good option
and Sint-Michiels are four of the most popular residential neighborhoods outside Bruges’ center
Read up more on the cost of living in Bruges
there’s also plenty of river-view apartments
The most popular locations for expats in Gent’s city center are Muinparkwijk
with its’ affordable houses and gardens
full of old houses and a delightful river running through it
Patershol and Prinsenhof are lively central areas of winding cobbled streets
