Het afval ligt er al enkele dagen, en de vraag was vooral: wie moet het opruimen? De gemeente Anderlecht verwees naar het gewest, omdat het een gewestweg is. Bij Net Brussel beloofde men inderdaad de rommel – voornamelijk bouwafval – zo snel mogelijk te verwijderen, al waren ze er niet erg happig op. "Net Brussel is bijna non-stop bezig met het ophalen van sluikstorten in het gewest, maar niet op de Ring. Dat is voor ons een ongebruikelijke, delicate plek. We moeten kijken hoe het zit met de veiligheid van onze medewerkers en de verzekering", klonk het bij woordvoerder Adel Lassouli.  "Intussen is overeengekomen dat Brussel Mobiliteit het afval zal laten weghalen", zegt woordvoerder van Brussel Mobiliteit Inge Paemen. "Veel van onze inwoners nemen die afrit en vragen ons: doe er iets aan. Maar wij zijn niet bevoegd. Als het op ons grondgebied lag, was het snel weggeweest, want vuil trekt vuil aan."
