Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has officially renamed Sofia Airport, honoring the national hero Vasil Levski with the title "Vasil Levski Sofia Airport." The decree, signed on February 17, 2025, formalizes the change, reflecting the widespread support for the decision among the public.
The proposal to rename the airport after Levski was originally put forward by scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in 2017, who received broad backing for the idea. Last year, the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Sofia Municipality expressed their support for the renaming. The decision has now been finalized, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria.
This move aligns with a broader initiative to honor the legacy of the Apostle of Freedom, with studies showing that a significant portion of the Bulgarian public favors the renaming. The change to "Vasil Levski Sofia Airport" is a testament to the deep respect Bulgarians hold for the revolutionary figure and marks a historic moment for the country.

The idea of renaming the airport was first proposed in 2009 by a Bulgarian journalist. However, for years, Bulgarian authorities took no concrete action to implement the change. Other names, including Zhelyu Zhelev, Bulgaria’s first democratically elected president, were considered, but no final decision was made.
In December 2024, the Minister of Transport and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences formally prepared a renaming proposal. The academy supported the change, stating that research confirmed Levski as a historical figure deeply respected by the majority of Bulgarians.
On 19 February 2025, a special official renaming ceremony was held to commemorate the change. The event was opened by Jesus Caballero, the CEO of SOF Connect, the concessionaire company managing the airport.”The naming is not only a tribute to the past, but also a look into the future,” Caballero said during the ceremony.
Among the distinguished guests were high-ranking government officials, including the Minister of Transport, Grozdan Karadzhov, as well as historians and cultural figures. Their presence emphasised the historical importance of the renaming.

when unknown children came to him to congratulate him he had nothing to give them except for a few candies and he wrote this as an expense in this notebook
Or when he mentions a Bulgarian widow with whom he lived for weeks and set a small amount aside so that he could help her feed her children
these are very important accents that we can hardly find in his correspondence
in the emigration political press that tells about the liberation cause with a different language
The notebook reveals to us different and most human faces of the Apostle," the historian says
It is very important for people to know that the information in this notebook is not consecutive
Levski wrote somewhat spontaneously and the information from the different pages must be very carefully followed and combined simultaneously with other documents that would provide the connections and explain the situation in which he wrote down a given fact
Mitev how we should read and understand an address written in the notebook with four question marks "People????"
"People????" and the question marks facing the Bulgarian freedom
Doyno Doynov connected these words with the words "chloroform" and "ammonia" written in Latin on the adjacent page
After a robbery of the Turkish post office in the Arabakonak Pass
Levski's assistant Dimitar Obshti told the Ottoman investigation about all the figures of the revolutionary committees he knew
to seek their own decoding of these question marks
they are an expression of this disappointment
which would make Vasil Levski admit to the investigators interrogating him in Sofia that ‘the Bulgarian is waiting for freedom to be served to him on a platter’
For two and a half years he put in a lot of effort to create a powerful
illegal organization that would start preparing a national uprising
And suddenly what happened in Arabakonak on September 22
led to such a heavy blow that shattered before his eyes the hope and the dreams of a national uprising
every generation will try to seek its own explanation of these question marks
they are an expression of this disappointment that the Apostle was going through in the last months of his life," university lecturer Prof

Levski won its second consecutive and 17th title in the men's volleyball championship
Levski's volleyball players gave their all to win the three possible trophies in Bulgaria - title
said the team's head coach Nikolay Zhelyazkov after the last match in the final series with Lokomotiv Avia
"It was a very tough year for the entire team
but the boys gave their all to win all possible trophies - title
This is very difficult and bravo to everyone at Levski for the work they put in
All this is the result of a lot of effort and of the management
"Every year is different because the performers change
We changed some elements of our game and it helped us a lot that we were in optimal shape right from the start
"We had very difficult matches in the playoffs
We started with a loss at home and a mandatory victory
We had very tough matches to get to today and lift the title
Levski was the strongest in the most important moments and this helped the team reach the title in the Bulgarian men's volleyball championship
said the young star of the champions Venislav Antov
Maybe the fact that we won it 3:0 is deceiving people
In the first two games we won very narrowly
and in the second we were behind in the tiebreak
The most important thing is that we held on as a team"
"There was a slight decline during the season
but then it was already clear that we would be first
we showed good enough volleyball to become champions," the points leader in the championship also said
The most valuable player in the final series was also asked if he would leave Levski in the summer: "Now I will enjoy the victory and I assume that in a few days I will have more clarity on this issue"

Comment by Yanaki Dimitrov, "TEMA SPORT":
What is happening in Levski and what are the prospects for the club
After the past Extraordinary General Meeting about a month ago
we did not receive any concrete answers from the management
the media came and went the participation of the central striker of the Blues Alex Kolev in a podcast made by the general sponsor of the club
the ram brought out dirty shirts from the locker room
But with them he touched the wound not only of the team
because there are quite a few foreigners and when the number of Bulgarians is small
you don't have three or four leaders who can stand up and pound on the table
I've had conversations with the people above (ed
– refers to the management) and they told me what I should do
but when you say something in the locker room
start by setting themselves up against a coach
Alex Kolev would most likely have received a strict reprimand and a fine for his statement
he didn't point out “how great we are and what a great success the second place is
which hasn't been won for 10 years“… Julio Velasquez keeps repeating the latter things
to whom it has clearly been well explained where he has ended up and what the fans expect
and at this stage it seems to be unimportant
It is strange why in a big club like Levski a footballer has to receive orders from the bosses and act like a scoundrel in the locker room
Why doesn't “Gerena“ have a sports director who can build everyone
but the takeaway from it has always been that the majority owner Nasko Sirakov
executive director Daniel Borimirov and member of the Management Board Hristo Yovov possess “more than the necessary expertise“ to spend money on opening such a position in the club
Levski is no longer threatened with bankruptcy
but this important position continues to be neglected
Where is the sports director to say something immediately after a match - a brief opinion about the game
and not for this to happen 2 days late in writing
It has come to the point that Levski is not shaved for a plum in the Bulgarian Football Union
And after the cleanest penalty in the world
they officially explain to him that there is none
a stone would not have been left on top of a stone in Boyana a while ago
Now they are picking on the fact that the son of the chief of referees trained in the Black Sea
after the son of the former president of the Bulgarian Football Union has been guarding Levski's goal for many years
And his son-in-law - first a player for the Blues
then a temporary coach and finally a permanent one
We are talking about Nikolay Mihaylov and Zhivko Milanov
Who is currently responsible for the selection
It is not serious for a majority owner to deal with such things
"Gerena" does not know when it will have money for a sports director and does it even need one
is that it was not clear what would happen after 1 year and 7 months
because until then the contract with the general sponsor was in effect
And that's why a sports concept for the next 5 seasons could not be made
Isn't it time for the club to have several options for continuing life after a specific date
The news about the sponsor was revealed after the extraordinary General Meeting
convened due to the announcements of the planned construction of a new stadium
From which it turned out that the situation is “Neroden Petko“
And by the way - since the beginning of the year
there has been no sponsor against the name of “Georgi Asparuhov“
But let's get back to what Alex Kolev said about the team
Levski is currently confidently in second place in the standings
sending them to the European tournaments for sure
With a 9-point lead over the third and fourth
The difference became so much after the last round
in which the Blues won hard with 1:0 over Septemvri Sf
Mustafa Sangare's header crossed the goal line
The Ram jumped over the advertising boards and went to celebrate in sector A
he still received congratulations from Ohene and Georgi Kostadinov
who was wearing the captain's armband at that moment
start waving to the others to go and celebrate with the goal scorer
should unleash joy… But apparently the situation on the field
as well as on the higher floors of the club
And then the Blues will really have to complain to the Armenian priest
Bulgarian powerhouse FC Ludogorets Razgrad has been crowned champion
with 27-year-old forward Bernard Tekpetey lifting his fifth league trophy with the team
Despite missing most of the season due to a serious knee injury
Tekpetey celebrated as Ludogorets secured the title following a win over Cherno More in the championship playoffs
Olivier Verdon scored the opening goal just before halftime
and Swiss-Ghanaian striker Kwadwo Duah sealed the victory for the Eagles
The speedy winger has won league titles in each of his five seasons with Ludogorets
Tekpetey made seven appearances across all competitions
He is expected to join his teammates for a title celebration at the Ludogorets Arena before their match against Levski
Tekpetey is anticipated to play a crucial role for Ludogorets next season

The race for Champions League qualification got even tighter in the Premier League after Chelsea beat recently crowned champion Liverpool and Newcastle dropped points at Brighton
With a record-extending 16th defeat of the campaign
Manchester United could hardly be further from it all
Liverpool's players were afforded a guard of honour by Chelsea as they came onto the field at Stamford Bridge for their first match as champions
with Chelsea running out a 3-1 winner thanks to a third-minute goal by Enzo Fernandez
an own-goal by Jarell Quansah in the 56th and a stoppage-time penalty by Cole Palmer
Virgil van Dijk's header made it 2-1 at the time but Liverpool was off the pace for much of the game
The win lifted fifth-placed Chelsea into a tie for 63 points with fourth-placed Newcastle
which needed an 89th-minute penalty by Alexander Isak to salvage a 1-1 draw at Brighton
With Manchester City a point higher in third place and both Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa three points back in sixth and seventh
the fight to finish in the top five — and therefore qualify for next season's Champions League — looks like going to the wire
The Premier League appears to hold little importance to Man United anymore this season
with a 4-3 loss at Brentford leaving the team languishing in 15th place on 39 points and already certain of recording its worst-ever total in the Premier League as well as its lowest finish
United's focus is fully on winning the Europa League and qualifying for the Champions League by that route
end-to-end game against Brentford was played between matches against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League semifinals — United leads 3-0 after the first leg — and manager Ruben Amorim fielded the club’s youngest ever Premier League lineup according to average age
highlighting how Europe is clearly the priority for the remainder of this season
A first-half goal by Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh — a former Newcastle player — looked like seeing off his old club
only for Isak to convert a penalty after Yasin Ayari’s outstretched arm in a defensive wall block against Fabian Schar's free kick
Newcastle had previously been awarded two penalties
only for both of them to be overturned after video reviews
Isak moved onto 23 league goals for the season
2 on the list behind Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (28)
It is the most by any Newcastle player in a Premier League season since Alan Shearer in 2001-02
Palmer left it late to end his 18-game run without a goal in all competitions
when he struck the ball against the post from an acute angle
but was given a chance from the penalty spot after Quansah made another mistake by tripping Moises Caicedo
Palmer buried his spot kick past Alisson Becker for his 15th league goal this season
Liverpool's visiting fans tried to encourage their team with shouts of "champions
champions" but with their motivation perhaps lacking
Chelsea is tied for points and goal difference with Newcastle
and only behind courtesy of scoring fewer goals
There were a couple of positives on another tough day for Man United
with injury-prone midfielder Mason Mount scoring his first goal of the season and winger Amad Diallo — just back after three months out — netting the third goal in stoppage time as the visitors came from 4-1 down but couldn't find an equaliser
Kevin Schade scored two of Brentford's goals
while Yoane Wisse also netted for the 18th time in the league — the same number as teammate Bryan Mbeumo
Tottenham has reached the Europa League semifinals and manager Ange Postecoglou left out a slew of key players for the 1-1 draw with West Ham in a London derby between two struggling teams
Tottenham beat Bodø/Glimt 3-1 in the first leg on Friday and faces a tough trip to northern Norway for the return game next week
Postecoglou made eight changes and went with a mostly second-string lineup against West Ham
yet still saw Wilson Odobert open the scoring in the 15th with his first league goal for Spurs
James Maddison didn't play for Tottenham
with Postecoglou saying the playmaker's knee injury — sustained against Bodø/Glimt — "doesn't look great"
Liverpool sealed the Premier League title in style overnight with a 5-1 win against Tottenham
The Merseyside club's record-equalling 20th English league title matched the achievement of its great rival Manchester United
Liverpool fans partied inside and outside its famous Anfield Stadium as coach Arne Slot sealed a remarkable first year in charge of the club
After going behind to an early goal from Dominic Solanke
Liverpool powered back with strikes from Luis Diaz
Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gapko before halftime to ensure the celebrations wouldn’t be delayed any more
The title was confirmed after the break as Mohamed Salah added another and Destiny Udogie's own-goal rounded off the rout
Liverpool only needed a point to be crowned champion and a packed Anfield expected nothing less than to see the job get done on home turf
the victory was so comfortable that Salah even had time to pose for selfie in front of the famed Kop stand after scoring his 33rd goal of the season in all competitions
lining the streets around the stadium in anticipation of a title party
The smell of sulphur filled the air as red smoke canisters were let off outside
Liverpool flags were hung from nearby houses
giant banners made their way across the stands
Slot has joined that list of club greats in only his first season after replacing Jurgen Klopp
He also joins a select group of managers by winning the title in his first year in the Premier League era — following Jose Mourinho
with Liverpool 15 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal with four rounds of the season to go
It is Liverpool’s second title in five years
having ended a 30-year wait to be champion in 2020
This time there was a crucial difference as the players were able to celebrate in front of the fans
Five years ago it had to finish off the season behind closed doors as the UK faced lockdown restrictions because of the Covid pandemic
fans in the stadium were on their feet singing the club's anthem - You’ll Never Walk Alone
Rasmus Hojlund scored in added time to salvage a 1-1 draw for Manchester United at Bournemouth
United was on course to lose for a 16th time in the league this season after Antoine Semenyo’s first-half strike
But a late flurry of pressure paid off for United after Bournemouth went down to 10 men and Hojlund converted from close range for his ninth goal of the season
The point moved United up to 14th in the standings
Semenyo fired a low shot from inside the box to beat United goalkeeper Andre Onana in the 23rd minute
Bournemouth had chances to extend its lead with Dango Ouattara hitting the post with a free kick after the break
But when Evanilson was sent off for a lunge on Noussair Mazraoui following a VAR review in the 70th
The visitors still had to wait until the sixth minute of added time for Hojlund to divert Manuel Ugarte’s effort past Kepa Arrizabalaga
It did not take Nottingham Forest long to drain the joy from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and put Ange Postecoglou's tenure at Tottenham back under a harsh spotlight
Four days after masterminding the triumph in Frankfurt that secured him a stay of execution the Australian coach watched his team concede twice in the opening 16 minutes
a deflected shot from Elliot Anderson and a header from New Zealander Chris Wood
It was Wood's 19th Premier League goal of the season and he earlier had one scrubbed out for offside
lifting them back to third and leaving Spurs 16th after their 18th loss of the Premier League campaign
it's another one we've let slip," Postecoglou told Sky Sports
"Really disappointed with the goals we've conceded and the most frustrating thing is our football side I thought was outstanding
"We couldn't dominate any more than we did or create the chances
We've just conceded poor goals and given ourselves a mountain to climb
"There's too many games this year we've lost in that manner and that's why we're in the position we are."
The feelgood factor last Thursday's progression to the Europa League semi-finals engendered immediately drained away with Forest's early goals
sapped by the knowledge Forest are the worst team in the EPL to go behind to
was sacked by Tottenham after four months in 2021 in part because his teams tend to be defensive and reactive
Spurs fans want their team to play on the front foot
which is why they instantly warmed to Postecoglou and stayed with him deep into this gruesome domestic campaign
In their last seven league games Spurs have snatched a comeback home point against Bournemouth
beaten hapless Southampton and lost the other five
The belief that as the treatment room emptied the team would improve
but Forest always let the opposition have the ball and only late on were they under real pressure
hooked Dejan Kulusevski's header off the line and goalkeeper Mat Selz first blocked Richarlison's snapshot
then brilliantly turned aside a header from the Brazilian
Richarlison did eventually head a Pedro Porro cross - the 48th of the night from Spurs - out of Selz's reach
"Five games to go and we know what to do
but we've played already an amazing season and we can be proud of what we've done already until now," Forest's Belgian goalkeeper said
"We just need to continue and give everything to end up there in the top five."
Forest fans may tire of Santo's defensive approach
In their second season after promotion they are heading for the Champions League
and everything now hangs on the Europa League
The Premier League title is so close Liverpool can almost touch it
Trent Alexander-Arnold's second-half strike against Leicester overnight pushed the Merseyside club to within one more win of a record-equalling 20th English league crown
It would not even take that if second-placed Arsenal loses to Crystal Palace on Thursday
Liverpool knows victory against Tottenham at Anfield next Monday will be enough to seal the title
Arsenal ensured the league leader would have to wait a while longer for its crowning moment after routing Ipswich 4-0 earlier Sunday
And for long periods at the King Power Stadium
Leicester threatened to frustrate Arne Slot's team — even having a goal disallowed before Alexander-Arnold's winner
Defeat confirmed the 2016 league champion Leicester's relegation
Wolves ensured top-flight safety by beating Manchester United 1-0 after Pablo Sarabia's brilliant second half free kick
Chelsea moved up to fifth by rallying to beat Fulham 2-1 with two late goals
but Arsenal at least delayed Liverpool's coronation
After eliminating holder Real Madrid from the Champions League in midweek
Mikel Arteta's team cruised to victory against an Ipswich team that is now all but certain to be relegated
Trossard's low shot gave Arsenal the lead in the 14th minute and Martinelli made it 2-0 in the 28th
Trossard scored his ninth of the season in the 69th and Nwaneri completed the rout in the 88th
Victory temporarily closed the gap on Liverpool to 10 points
it can only pick up a maximum of 36 points by winning its remaining five games this season
That would still only put it level with 17th-placed West Ham's current points tally
After the highs of United's epic Europa League comeback against Lyon on Thursday
Old Trafford was brought back down to earth after yet another Premier League defeat
A 15th league loss of the season is a club record high for United in the Premier League era
United has not lost so many games in a league season since the 1989-90 campaign when it was defeated 16 times in England's old Division One
eight home defeats in the league is the most since United was beaten nine times in 1962-63
United is already certain to set the club’s worst-ever points total in the Premier League
The latest loss left Ruben Amorim's team on 38 points
United's lowest total was 58 in the 2021-22 season
even a perfect finish would only see United amass 53
We need to improve in that area of the game clearly
you don’t win games," United coach Amorim said
made it five wins in a row in the Premier League - and set a new club best in the Premier League
Substitute Sarabia had only been on the field for three minutes when he curled a free kick from outside of the area into the top corner
Wolves moved level on points with United to ensure it would avoid the drop
Chelsea's Champions League hopes looked set to take a hit when trailing 1-0 to Fulham and with time running out at Craven Cottage
After Alex Iwobi's goal in the 20th minute
Chelsea left it late to score twice to win the West London derby and move to fifth
Tyrique George leveled the game in the 83rd and Pedro Neto got the winner in the third minute of added time
Chelsea is ahead of Forest on goal difference
The Premier League will get a bonus fifth Champions League place next season because of the performances of English teams in Europe this year
Former Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard scored against his old club to help Inter Milan to a 2-2 draw against the German team on Thursday
sending the Nerazzurri through to the Champions League semifinals 4-3 on aggregate
It was Pavard’s first goal for Inter after the France international joined from Bayern in 2023
“There’s certainly a lot of emotions as it’s my first goal
moreover it’s at San Siro," said Pavard
who last scored almost exactly two years ago to the day
“So there were a lot of emotions but I had to stay in the match

Arsenal advanced 5-1 on aggregate after a 3-0 first-leg win at home in London last week
keeping alive its chances of winning Europe’s top club competition for the first time
The defending champion and record 15-time European winner fell short of the last four for the first time since 2020
It was seeking its third Champions League title in four seasons
Madrid's hopes of staging another comeback — like so many times before in recent years in the Champions League — took a big hit when a five-minute VAR check overturned a penalty for a hold on Kylian Mbappé in the first half with the game tied 0-0
Arsenal earlier had been awarded a penalty after a video review
Saka was able to put Arsenal ahead from inside the area after a nice pass by Mikel Merino in the 65th minute
and Madrid couldn’t manage more than an equaliser by Vinícius Júnior a couple of minutes later after a defensive blunder by William Saliba
Gabriel Martinelli gave Arsenal the victory by scoring on a breakaway three minutes into stoppage time
Arsenal will face Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals
Paris Saint-Germain staved off a gallant fightback by Aston Villa to reach the Champions League semifinals despite a 3-2 loss to the English club on Wednesday
Holding a 3-1 lead from last week’s quarterfinal first leg
PSG built a four-goal cushion thanks to goals by full-backs Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes inside 27 minutes at Villa Park
roared back thanks to a deflected shot before halftime by Youri Tielemans and then goals in a two-minute span from John McGinn and Ezri Konsa by the 57th
Only a string of fine saves from PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma denied Villa a fourth goal that would have taken the match to extra time
PSG advanced 5-4 on aggregate to knock out a second Premier League team
which leads Real Madrid 3-0 from the first leg
Serhou Guirassy scored a hat trick and still ended up on the losing side as Borussia Dortmund's 3-1 win over Barcelona wasn't enough to prevent a 5-3 aggregate loss to Barcelona in their quarter-final
After being swept aside 4-0 in the first leg of the quarterfinal
Dortmund had nothing to lose and attacked Barcelona from the start
Guirassy had missed chances in the first leg and spurned a couple more early in Tuesday's game but made no mistake from the penalty spot in the 11th minute after Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny collided with Pascal Gross
Guirassy's header made it 2-0 in the 49th minute before an own goal by Ramy Bensebaini made Dortmund's task even harder
Guirassy completed his hat trick with a powerful close-range shot in the 76th
in the process becoming the Champions League's top scorer this season on 13 goals
It gave Dortmund fresh hope of completing what would have been one of the all-time great Champions League comebacks
Barcelona faces either Inter Milan or Bayern Munich in the semifinals

Lady Gaga gave a free concert Saturday night in front of 2 million fans who poured onto Copacabana Beach for the biggest show of her career
(...) Thank you for making history with me,” Lady Gaga told a screaming crowd
kicked off the show at around 22.10pm local time with her 2011 song Bloody Mary
Cries of joy rose from the tightly-packed fans who sang and danced shoulder-to-shoulder on the vast stretch of sand
Concert organisers said 2.1 million people attended the show
switching between an array of dresses including one with the colours of the Brazilian flag
Some fans – many of them young – arrived on the beach at the crack of dawn to secure a good spot
“Today is the best day of my life,” said Manoela Dobes
a 27-year-old designer who was wearing a dress plastered with a photograph from when she met Lady Gaga in the United States in 2019
Madonna also turned Copacabana Beach into a massive dance floor last year
The large-scale performances are part of an effort led by City Hall to boost economic activity after Carnival and New Years’ Eve festivities and the upcoming month-long Saint John’s Day celebrations in June
“It brings activity to the city during what was previously considered the low season – filling hotels and increasing spending in bars
generating jobs and income for the population,” said Osmar Lima
the city’s secretary of economic development
in a statement released by Rio City Hall’s tourism department last month
Rio’s City Hall said in a recent report that around 1.6 million people were expected to attend Lady Gaga's concert and that the show should inject at least 600 million reais (NZ$178.3 million) into Rio’s economy
Similar concerts are scheduled to take place every year in May at least until 2028
Lady Gaga arrived in Rio in the early hours of Tuesday
The city has been alive with Gaga-mania since
as it geared up to welcome the pop star for her first show in the country since 2012
Rio’s metro employees danced to Lady Gaga’s 2008 hit song LoveGame and gave instructions for today in a video
A free exhibition celebrating her career sold out
While the vast majority of attendees were from Rio
the event also attracted Brazilians from across the country and international visitors
More than 500,000 tourists poured into the city in the days leading up to the show
according to data from the local bus station and Tom Jobim airport
Rio’s City Hall said in a statement yesterday
made a cross-continent trip from Colombia to Brazil to attend the show
“I’ve been a 100% fan of Lady Gaga my whole life,” said Serrano
who was wearing a T-shirt featuring Lady Gaga’s outlandish costumes over the years
the mega-star represents “total freedom of expression – being who one wants without shame”
Rio officials have a history of organising huge concerts on Copacabana Beach
Madonna’s show drew an estimated 1.6 million fans last year
while 4 million people flooded onto the beach for a 1994 New Year’s Eve show by Rod Stewart in 1994
that was the biggest free rock concert in history
sixteen sound towers were spread along the beach
Rio state’s security plan included the presence of 3300 military and 1500 police officers
Among those present were Lady Gaga admirers who remember their disappointment in 2017
when the artist cancelled a performance scheduled in Rio at the last minute due to health issues
“She's the best artist in the world,” the 25-year-old said
I love you” in Portuguese rose from the crowd behind him
whose real name is Ella Yelich O'Connor
which also displayed what appears to be the album cover art — an X-ray of a pelvis
"100% written in blood," the website read
The new album's announcement came a week after she released her latest single What Was That
The song's music video was filmed at a mysterious pop-up event in New York City's Washington Square Park that was initially shut down by police. The event ended up going ahead after all, and fans who stayed got to hear the new song for the first time.
