"I'm really touched by the project and its benefits and want to let more children from the two countries know about its meaning through these stories," Jin says
adding that the book series was released in August to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil
Vitor Rocha and Leticia Graciano — brought the narrative to life through their artwork

Honorary Police officers warn that the future of major Jersey events could be at risk unless more people join the force
The group needs 320 volunteers but currently only operates with 250
There are worries that the recruitment crisis could jeopardise popular future events such as the Battle of Flowers.
Michel Bougeard has been volunteering as an Honorary Police Officer for 40 years and says: "If people don't sign up
the consequences are that it will die and cost the island a fortune
"You'll lose the parish hall enquiry system
which is the jewel in our crown to a great degree because we can keep people out of court by dealing with them in the parish hall
adds: "People now want to have as many events as possible but what a lot of them do not realise is the fact that if the Honorary Police cannot attend
some of these events will not happen."
In response to worries over whether the Battle of Flowers can go ahead in its current form
if there are not enough honorary officers available
you cannot just let floats go up by themselves at 5am."
Battle of Flowers is safe in the short term
but it all depends on events having more volunteers
The issue is about paid events which are heavily reliant on unpaid police officers giving up their time
those events could become heavily scaled back if they do not get people signing up
One clear thing is the camaraderie and the pride that is shared by every single member of the Honorary Police

The Brazilian electricity regulatory agency
will fine state utility Chesf R$370m ($182m) for damages resulting from delays in building wind farm transmission lines and substations
The Acaraú 2, Igaporã and João Camara ICGs, as the connection points are known, should have connected 636MW of wind capacity in July, but are not expected to be ready until September 2013.
Another ICG being built by Chesf, João Camara 3, which was expected to be ready by September 2013, will not be completed until 2015, Recharge has learned.
Otavio Silveira, president of Galvão Energia, a company affected by the delay to João Camara 3, says developers that complete projects on time will receive revenues as per their federal contracts.

has filed in federal district court to claim rights to 11 boats that may be forfeited as a result of his guilty plea
Carlos Rafael was arrested after a federal sting operation in which he allegedly exposed a broad scheme to falsify federal fish tickets, evade taxes and smuggle cash to Portugal. His guilty plea included a preliminary order of forfeiture
that allowed a 60-day window for anyone with legal interest in the listed properties to file a petition
Conceicao Rafael filed a 45-page petition to claim her rights to 11 of the 13 boats that could be forfeited
Joao Camara also filed a petition to claim ownership rights through R and C Fishing Corp
Both parties claim the assets should not be subject to forfeiture because “at the time of any illegal act” neither of the claimants was “privy to any illegal act.”
a captain with the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office was arrested and charged in connection with helping Carlos Rafael smuggle profits to Portugal
was charged on three counts of bulk cash smuggling
He was released after posting a $10,000 bond
Former Bristol County Sheriff’s Deputy Antonio Freitas was convicted of smuggling in July and is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct
Rafael is scheduled to appear in Federal District Court in Boston on Sept

Loads already lifted with the LR 1600/2-W on the Wobben Enercon job in Brazil include a 65 tonne rotor star in a single hoist to a height of 97 metres
Brazilian crane rental company I.V. Guindastes has added another Liebherr LR 1600/2-W crawler crane to its fleet.
It is a 600 tonne capacity narrow track model for erecting wind turbines. The used machine, built in 2012, was purchased from Liebherr in Ehingen, Germany. An 18 month wind farm contract in Brazil is its first job. It is working for Wobben Enercon in João Camara in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte.
Commenting on his choice Igor Boff, I.V. Guindastes co-owner, said, “In addition to the price, the fast availability is one of the main arguments for buying used cranes as far as we are concerned.” Earlier in 2017 I.V. Guindastes bought a pair of used Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 wheeled mobile cranes.
Boff continued, “The Liebherr crawler crane has a very functional design and is economical to use. Its track width of just 5.8 metres makes it ideal for travelling on narrow tracks in wind farms and it also delivers very good lifting capacity values.”
The I.V. Guindastes fleet now stands at 25 units, 18 of which are Liebherrs, the manufacturer said. There are already two more of the narrow track model so additional equipment can be shared between the three machines, Boff said.

One of the heads of Jersey's Honorary Police is calling on the Government to improve its outdated road traffic legislation following two serious collisions between cars and e-scooters
says the law should be updated to reflect the changing transport options
He explains: "There's no doubt it is frustrating
There are a lot of vehicles on the road at the moment which were not thought of in 1948 when the Road Traffic Law was enacted so we need to make sure it keeps pace with these new vehicles
There is currently no specific law preventing people from using e-scooters on roads or public land in Jersey
It is only illegal because they are classed as motorised vehicles so riders need a licence and insurance which they cannot get
E-scooters can be ridden on private land with permission but they should not be able to go faster than 15mph
E-scooters have become more popular in recent years with the UK Government approving 30 public hire trials over there - although riding privately owned e-scooters on roads is still illegal
the island's Infrastructure Minister says they will look at the current legislation
Deputy Andy Jehan explains: "We've had a number of pieces of correspondence from States Members and the public
I've spoken to ministers and we're going to discuss it."
Riders say e-scooters offer a quick and easy way to travel and can be safe if used in the right way
pedestrians and shop managers have told ITV News that the current situation is simply not working
Business owner Simon Emmanuel says: "I've noticed quite a few times when people are stepping out of my shop
they're almost getting knocked down at high speed."
