Because it's such a special, and unique, moment for Brazil, we wanted to make sure every step of our development was covered, so we could all live this together, and so there is a link between the tournament and Cricket Brasil. Cricket has been in the country since 1872, before football was played here, but football took off and cricket is only now becoming more popular. We want children to be inspired when they see the trophy and become more dedicated to the sport, but we also want to use cricket as a way of improving people’s lives. The Trophy Tour will also have a huge impact on youth cricket in Brazil. Especially when the younger players, or children interested in the sport, feel the connection between the World Cup and the sport they play. Having the trophy in Poços de Caldas increased the enthusiasm for cricket for a lot of kids, and you could see the smiles and felt the energy from the children on the days the trophy was here. One day these kids are going to be thinking about the World Cup as part of their development, and you’re seeing them find out how the sport they currently love is part of something as big as the cricketing world. Gerais The $63.83 million market capitalisation company says the mining rights are contiguous to its currently held Colossus rare earth element (REE) Project and cover an additional 101km-square taking Viridis’ total landholding to 228.63km-square.  Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rafael Moreno says the mining rights have been secured while it progresses a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate and next phase of project advancement at Colossus.  The CEO also states Viridis is on track to becoming “the second major IAC project within the complex”.  “I’m extremely excited about the potential opportunity these new tenements present the Company and how they support the overall development strategy for the Colossus IAC rare earth project.”   Viridis reports 3 of the licences (5460/1954 and 802917/1978) comprise the Tamoyo prospect which is expected to strengthen the company’s dominant position in the northern part of the complex.  Samples gathered previously at Tamoyo in previous exploration demonstrate ‘remarkable’ REE grades including 3,848 parts per million (ppm) and 2,019ppm total rare earth oxide (TREO) The new mining rights also include the Bandeira prospect — a ‘district-scale’ opportunity consisting of 4 exploration licences and 2 applications — on the eastern edge of the Alkaline complex.  Previous auger drilling by the vendors within the ‘leached layer’ at Bandeira has returned 3.6m @ 1,924ppm TREO Key terms of the agreement include Viridis providing the vendor one (Minas Rio Mineradora) a total of up to US$1.5 million via an issue of performance rights These will convert to fully paid ordinary shares in the company if Viridis delineates between 100-200 million tonnes of inferred REE resources with an average grade of no less than 1,500ppm total rare earth oxide (REO) at Bandeira es terms for vendor 2 (Frigorifico Tamoyo Sociedade) include Viridis providing the vendor with a non-refundable cash payment of US$100,000 and US$1,000 per hectare for the Tamoyo prospect licences.  Viridis proposes to issue vendor 2 up to US$1.5 million via the issue or performance rights for every 1 million tonnes of inferred REE resources delineated at the same grades as outlined for the Bandeira prospect.   Moreno says: “I’m thrilled we have secured these additional mining rights with the Tamoyo Prospect already showing exciting results from grab samples and Bandeira representing an extremely large and low cost opportunity for Viridis to explore in an adjacent alkaline complex The deal terms are highly favourable and provide Viridis with great optionality for these tenements.” Viridis Mining and Minerals is a resource explorer and developer with assets in Brazil Viridis Mining and Minerals had $628,000 cash and cash equivalents at around the Poços De Caldas Alkaline Complex in Brazil which has a market capitalisation of $23.89 million says these licences fall proximal or contiguous to its Colossus Project The new licences include 4 research authorisation licences and 8 mining request licences the purchase will increase Viridis’ total landholding in the area to 90.69km-square.  Under the agreement to acquire these new licences with sellers Varginha Mineração and associated parties the new areas will now form part of the total land area to which a 4.75% royalty is payable on the total rare earth oxide (TREO) + yttrium extracted from the Colossus Project payable once US$2 million in royalties have accrued from production at the project.  The new licences have been incorporated into an existing agreement between Viridis and the Varginha parties meaning the company will not pay any additional consideration for the extra landholding.  Viridis will not raise any additional capital to support exploration in the new areas it will reallocate the funds put towards its current exploration budget on the Colossus Project to the extent necessary to accommodate the additional licences.  Viridis Mining and Minerals Executive Chairman Agha Shahzad Pervez says: “The acquisition of these new areas exemplifies the Vendors’ commitment to partner with Viridis in becoming the second major Ionic Rare Earth player in the Poços De Caldas Complex.  The team is fortunate to have established a strong partnership with Varginha and garnered their support and expertise for the exploration and development of the Colossus Project The company is working aggressively on a comprehensive exploration strategy and will continue to evaluate new areas of interest in the Poços De Caldas Alkaline Complex.” “The company is working aggressively on a comprehensive exploration strategy” Viridis is currently compiling all available geological information and has begun drill planning for the project.  the company intends to immediately initiate a comprehensive exploration program at Colossus and exploration drilling to establish a ‘significant’ maiden JORC-compliant resource.  the company notes all 12 licences are in
