Brazil - December 2022 - The Salesian Cooperators and the "St John the Baptist" parish of Poxoréu promoted a triduum of prayer for the Beatification of Venerable Attilio Giordani who spent a period of volunteer missionary work in Brazil for the 50th anniversary of the Venerable's death which opened with the entrance of the flags of Brazil Italy and a poster with some history of the Salesian Cooperator the qualities of the Venerable were presented at the altar The brick represented the constructions made by the Italian volunteers; a basket with books stood as a reminder of his action as a catechist; and an indigenous man from Sangradouro carried the basket with bread "The witness of missionary life is very strong for us and we want this story to live in the present."
