do Inmet que mais registraram chuva de 26 de abril até as 9h desta quinta (2) foram: Soledade (488,6 mm); Santa Maria (484,8 mm) e Canela (460 mm) A estação meteorológica convencional de Santa Maria teve recorde de chuva em 24h Essa foi a maior chuva registrada no município o volume de chuva na cidade chegou a 470,7 mm o período entre o final de abril e o início de maio de 2024 O fenômeno responsável por aquecer as águas do Pacífico ajudou a bloquear as frentes frias e concentrar os sistemas de áreas de instabilidade na altura do Rio Grande do Sul causando a chuva mais intensa em parte do estado gaúcho e sul de Santa Catarina nos últimos dias a temperatura do Oceano Atlântico Sul bem mais elevada O transporte de umidade a partir da Amazônia e o contraste térmico com o ar mais
