2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Verde AgriTech Ltd (TSX: “NPK”) (OTCQX: “VNPKF”) (“Verde” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a maiden mineral resource estimate of 1.35 billion tons at 3,437 ppm of Total Rare Earth Oxides (“TREO”)1 and with 793 ppm of Magnet Rare Earth Oxides (“MREO”)2 for the Man of War Rare Earths Project (“Man of War”) in accordance with NI 43-101 standards
the Reasonable Prospects for Eventual Economic Extraction (“RPEE”)
This estimate includes three of Man of War’s targets: Nau de Guerra
Bálsamo and Alto da Serra located in São Gotardo
The JORC and NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate establishes Man of War as one of the world’s largest rare earths projects
This comprehensive analysis underpins the robust economic potential of Man of War as a world-class rare earths project
This is based on 1,50 billion tons in-situ resources with 3,430 ppm of TREO and with 791 ppm of MREO
The difference between the RPEE resource of 1.35 billion and the in-situ resource of 1.50 billion is attributable to the fact that the former is confined within the optimized mathematical pits generated for the RPEE demonstration
Below are the highlights of the in-situ resource
“The discovery of such a significant rare earth resource in Brazil has the potential to redefine the global supply chain for critical minerals like praseodymium
The Man of War Project is poised to become a key contributor to the technologies that drive our modern economy,” celebrated Cristiano Veloso
The following table summarizes the in-situ mineral resource estimates at a cut-off grade of 1,000 ppm TREO for each target and the combined total:
The resource estimates were prepared in compliance with the JORC 2012 Edition and NI 43-101 standards

BNA Mining Solutions is responsible for preparing the final report in compliance with NI 43-101 standards
which is expected to be released in approximately 45 days
The exploration campaign employed diamond drilling to ensure the reliability and precision of the resource estimation process
Sampling was conducted at consistent intervals of 1 meter
with drill cores carefully stored in labeled plastic bags containing unique identification tags
and systematically recorded in a digital database to maintain traceability
carried out between April and September 2011
executed by Rede Engenharia e Sondagens S/A (a subsidiary of SGS) and Isoágua Perfurações Especiais Ltda
these campaigns drilled 3,539.3 meters across the Nau de Guerra (742.95 meters)
The core recovery was calculated for each interval
achieving reliable recovery rates that formed the foundation of the geological interpretation and resource modeling
The diamond drill cores enabled bulk density measurements and were carefully preserved for future reference
During both the historical exploration in 2011 and the ongoing 2024 campaigns
Key geotechnical parameters such as Rock Quality Designation (RQD) and degrees of weathering were also recorded
These observations were systematically entered into a centralized digital database
ensuring consistency and facilitating seamless integration with subsequent analyses
Sample preparation followed a rigorous protocol to ensure the integrity and reliability of assay data
and geologists revised descriptions before sampling
and a quarter was sampled while preserving the remainder for reference
Pulverization to 95% passing 150# mesh preceded the extraction of a 10g aliquot for ICP95A/IMS95A analysis of REEs and oxides
The project implemented a robust QA/QC program in collaboration with SGS
Inter-laboratory checks were conducted with ALS Laboratories
cross-verifying assay results with deviations consistently within ±10% of original grades
Independent verification included two site visits by Dr
who evaluated drilling and sampling procedures
These inspections confirmed the reliability of sampling techniques
ensuring compliance with JORC 2012 and NI 43-101 standards
Estimation and Reporting of Mineral Resources:
The mineral resource estimation for the project was carried out using a systematic and robust methodology
incorporating historical data and results from the 2011–2012 drilling campaigns conducted by the Verde team
were conducted in July and August 2024 to assess site conditions
and provide an overall geological overview of the area
A block model was developed using Ordinary Kriging (OK) for grade interpolation
This approach was chosen due to the log-normal distribution of the sample data
Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW3) was applied as a secondary estimation method
The estimation employed a sequential search ellipse methodology across four passes
with adjustments to the size of the ellipsoid and the number of composite samples and drill holes required for interpolation
Block discretization utilized sub-blocking
dividing initial 50x50x10-meter blocks into subunits (5x5x2 meters) near mineralized wireframes
Variography guided the determination of search ellipse parameters and orientations
with radii and azimuth orientations customized for each REE
Validation of the block model included statistical comparisons between interpolated grades and composite datasets
Histograms and probability plots demonstrated consistency and reliability
A cut-off grade of 1,000 ppm TREO was applied
informed by comparable projects and the Qualified Person’s experience
Dry bulk density values were calculated from 452 diamond drill core samples
analyzed using Archimedes’ principle with equipment certified by INMETRO
All estimates are reported on a dry tonnage basis
All mineral resources have been classified as Inferred
reflecting the current state of geological continuity
This classification aligns with industry standards and the Qualified Person’s assessment of data reliability

30 centimetres in diameter and weighing 120 kg is suspended in the main hall of the Zipper Gallery
Both ends gradually become dismembered from the main web until their minute thicknesses cling to the walls of the exhibition space
three lines drawn across the wall of the gallery insert the work within the planes of the mapped space and in the terrain of control
the artist Janaina Mello Landini projects her third solo show at Zipper
right now" presents site-specific and canvas works from the Ciclotrama series
Ciclotrama is a neologism by the artist to designate the research that she has been developing since 2010
she experiments with the physical tension between threads and the distribution of weights in order to deal with subjects like interconnectivity and interdependence
The passage and fixation of time also interest Janaina
who seeks to impregnate the work with the long hours dedicated to the acts of weaving and dismembering
thus establishing a relation with artisanal practice
a Ciclotrama is the sectioning of a continuous and binary cycle
a schematic structure with a hierarchical characteristic
it is the long action of dividing the whole and its parts
until its minimal unit becomes apparent and sustains the whole system as a whole."
Janaina's production flows between different scales – from the public space to objects
The upper storey of the gallery was reserved for the artist's works on canvas
Janaina took as a starting point the imaginary lines (parallel and meridian) of planispheric
cylindrical and conical cartographic projections
Disregarding the territories that originally occupied the representations
the artist creates occupations in this imagined space with ropes that are attached to the canvases and unravel throughout the exhibition space
"Ciclotrama is an unpredictable and intuitive act
it represents flux and ends up determining a zone
The idea in this series of works is to create islands and regions through the relationship between the rope and the cartographic space."

Rare earths and titanium testwork has resumed at Resouro’s massive Tiros deposit in Brazil after stellar results in previous rounds
Don't miss out on the headlines from Stockhead
Followed categories will be added to My News
Resouro has started the next phase of metallurgical testwork on ore from its 1.7 billion tonne Tiros Titanium and Rare Earths project
This phase follows Resouro’s metallurgical test work partner Altilium achieving the highest known rare earth extractions
The upcoming round will inform discussions with offtakers and the Preliminary Economic Assessment
Special Report: Resouro Strategic Metals has commissioned Altilium to start the next phase of testwork on ore from its 1.7 billion tonne Tiros titanium and rare earths project
The upcoming round is a scaled-up version of the sighter test work completed just a few weeks ago when the metallurgy group achieved the highest known rare earth extractions on Resouro Strategic Metals’ (ASX:RAU) ore
The ultimate aim of the testwork program is to achieve maximum extraction of the high value minerals with the world’s lowest environmental footprint from pit to end product
sighter testwork establishes whether metals can be extracted easily or not from the ore and is a critical upfront benchmark to prove the concept
The results announced in August included 96.2% extraction of the high-value magnetic rare earth elements
That was achieved from testwork on 50kg of representative samples taken from Tiros’ high grade and homogenous material
making the results the world’s highest known REE extractions on non-selective ore intervals
Now a 200kg representative composite sample has been prepared at the project in Brazil’s mining friendly Minas Gerais state to undergo a testwork program in Alitlium’s Brisbane lab
Using Altilium’s innovative and patented technology
Resouro’s metallurgy partner will focus on the optimisation of leaching parameters and downstream elements over about 30 weeks
with updates to be announced as the work progresses
This phase of the testwork will include the processing of saleable REE and TiO2 products to be used with potential offtakers
Resouro has already received numerous unsolicited enquires from large industrial companies in Asia
Europe and North America for TiO2 and REE product and is in preliminary discussions with some of these
while exploring markets for other potential saleable elements in the orebody
Results from this upcoming phase will allow Resouro to update its financial model for inclusion in the Preliminary Economic Assessment
Additional testwork will then be undertaken to determine a final process flow sheet and optimise the leaching conditions
Altilium has also started testwork on a 45kg sample already at the lab with the aim of generating residue from the leaching process to produce TiO2 concentrate that can be sent to potential offtakers for that product
Among the key benefits of the Altilium’s patented Ti/REE process are that it generates zero waste from a sustainable
environmentally friendly closed-circuit leach process
director and founder Chris Eager commented: “The initial sighter testwork results provide a proof of concept and indicate that Resouro can achieve high rare earths extraction from Tiros ore
The Altilium Ti/REE process has many advantages over conventional leaching and has the potential to produce a clean TiO2 product
“This gives us confidence to take the next step of detailed testwork with Altilium
Resouro is also continuing to explore conventional leaching
a range of other reagents and leaching protocols
“We are focussed on finding the optimal leaching method that will provide the most environmentally friendly process with high rare earths and TiO2 recoveries at the lowest cost.”
With its aim to progress and further grow Tiros, Resouro has completed the due diligence required to finalise the 100% acquisition of three mineral rights contiguous with the Sao Gotardo block of the project
Eager said of the deal: “With this acquisition of the rights totalling 4744 hectares
we are consolidating our presence in the highly prospective Capacete Formation
“This highly strategic acquisition gives us a greater footprint in a highly prospective area and the contiguous nature of the assets adjacent to Resouro’s Sao Gotardo block could prove highly beneficial in the event of a future discovery.”
