the area A cluster of wildfires are burning around Dawson Creek including G70192 along Highway 52 toward Tumbler Ridge It's listed as out of control at 35 hectares RCMP's North Division says the fire A grassfire broke out Monday morning near Rolla Firefighters were called to the scene around 11am near the gun range The fire started after a brush pile started to burn out of control Windy conditions made it more difficult to get the blaze under control the Dawson Creek Fire Department was called to two separate grassfires The first started around 5:20pm near the Dangerous Goods Road someone was burning a brush pile that grew out of control due to the wind another blaze occurred on 8th Street just north of Dawson Creek city limits The fire grew to a half a hectare in size before being brought
