of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Head of Global Bus at CNH Industrial and Jiří Vaněk With a surface area of more than 225,000 square metres the Vysoké Mýto site is the largest commercial vehicle production complex in Central and Eastern Europe and one of the major bus production facilities in Europe Iveco Bus is a key employer in the Czech Republic where Vysoké Mýto employs more than 3,000 employees and another 1,700 subcontractors “We are very proud to be able to celebrate the activity and continual growth of this plant This site plays a key role in the country’s economy and Iveco has made the most important investment a company can make: investing in the future Today Iveco Bus is making a major contribution to the growth of the Czech economy: in 2014 alone the Vysoké Mýto plant produced 3,288 buses 94% of which have been for the European market at the event’s press conference held during the event The Vysoké Mýto site was first founded as a coach and carriage manufacturing plant by Josef Sodomka in 1895 Over the years the company evolved from horse-drawn transport to become one of the main bus production hubs in Europe It counts for 85 years’ worth of bus manufacturing that has continued to create local jobs and promote economic growth for the country Iveco Bus produces the Urbanway city bus in Vysoké Mýto which is designed for public transport in urban areas the flagship vehicle of the brand’s intercity range which was first created at the Czech plant Conceived for intercity and school transport it is a leading intercity vehicle in Europe "is a milestone in the history of Vysoké Mýto and it was the vehicle that most contributed to reaching the record number of a total of 120,000 buses manufactured in the plant since its foundation.” Guests were invited to visit the plant and attend a presentation on the history of Iveco Bus and on its current position as one of the sector’s leaders in Europe The discussion then moved on to future developments concerning the Vysoké Mýto plant and the important role the plant plays in employment for the region The new Bus Design Centre in Vysoké Mýto was also unveiled during the celebrations This unique space allows for customers to come in and tailor their buses to their exact requirements Everything from dashboard configurations to upholstery and seating selections can be chosen directly here CNH Industrial bus facility in the Czech Republic celebrates 120th anniversary CNH Industrial: lo stabilimento bus in Repubblica Ceca festeggia il 120° Anniversario Designed by buoy architecture with landscape architect Barbora Srpková Vysoké Mýto Park is the reactivation of the public spaces of the former Jirásek military barracks representing a major extension of the public space of the town southwest of the historical center of Vysoké Mýto The total area of the proposed area is more than 3.5 hectares The focal point of the proposal is the active zone in front of the existing historical building of the Dragoun barracks The proposal divides the large area by means of a series of diagonal paths based on natural movement through the area These links create permeability of the area in a north-south direction The so-called promenade forms the main east-west pedestrian route The linear area connecting all the main public spaces in the area is spatially framed by an avenue of trees and cyclists creates multi-layered views throughout the whole area The overall cultivation and calming down of the traffic regime is also part of the area’s proposal The permeability of the paved traffic areas allows water to be retained and reused on the site Rainwater is collected and filtered in a storage and retention basin and used to irrigate vegetation areas The natural attraction point of the site is the building of the Kiosk located along the main pedestrian promenade The Kiosk serves as a backdrop for the park with refreshments Its stepped roof forms an elevated plateau which allows the entire sports complex and park to be seen from a different perspective The active zone is stratified by small height levels of individual areas and programs This zone is dominated by a sunken multi-purpose playground with seating levels around its perimeter This configuration allows for a variety of daily uses (sports it naturally separates the playing area from the adjacent pedestrian routes individual program elements for additional leisure activities are concentrated – a zone with wooden logs for children and young people picnic activities on the modeled grass terraces or seating in the shade of the trees in the northern part of the area The proposal also includes complete landscaping of the green space to unify the area create new vital areas and offer year-round park attractions The vegetation is complemented by the planting of 87 new trees The overall composition of the mix of activities and recreational areas creates a living and changing public space, able to absorb and adapt to the changing demands of its users. The aim of the proposal is to improve the quality of the partner by increasing the usability and utility of the area This is also reflected in the concept of new vegetation which is based on the layout of communication routes and residential zones Existing tree species that can be retained have been identified These will become the basis for future vegetation The newly defined pedestrian routes are accompanied by single-species lines of high-quality mature trees with understory canopies.  The avenues are complemented by a motif of natural free planting of meander trees in a modeled lawn that resembles spontaneous vegetation units This strong organic accent in an otherwise linear design will contribute to the livability of the site and create sheltered quiet micro-spaces for short-term recreation on the lawn Complementary species such as Tilia cordata are proposed to complement the avenue and an attractive early flowering small-leaved tree – Amelanchier arborea Robin Hill Fraxinus angustifolia Raywood is proposed for solitary use and for joint planting with flowering Bird Cherry (Prunus avium) With a striking color effect of small leaves in autumn. seeks to eliminate the negative impacts of vehicular traffic and provides necessary and collision-free service to the area Pedestrian routes ensure the permeability of the whole area and connect the northern part of the city with the southern part and the eastern part with the western part The main pedestrian entrances to the area are proposed in the southern part from Prokopa Velikého Street in the part of Lidická and Odbojárská Street a pedestrian connection between Školská Street and Prokopa Velikého Street is proposed All proposed pedestrian entrances to the site are designed as barrier-free. Traffic in all zones is limited to the supply and necessary servicing of the buildings Necessary service and parking areas for passenger transport are located in the peripheral parts of the complex there is a parking lot with an indirect entrance from Prokopa Velikého Street there is an extension of the existing parking lot at the entrance to the retirement home Local parking spaces are purposefully distributed throughout the area. The playground is designed as the central active area of the new leisure park Its space is defined by a depression in the ground which is flanked by steps leading to a seating area along the southern edge of the playground The main entrance staircase is located by the kiosk and wheelchair access is linked by a ramp to the promenade The playing surface offers graphic signage for basketball The pin play area is designed as a triangular play area with a soft shock-absorbing surface suitable for children and young people The overall playing surface is divided by wooden vertical elements, which are connected in some parts by a series of soft and flexible elements (climbing ropes) and rigid elements (steel bars, horizontally rotating logs). A triangular area with a soft sandy surface preventing balls from bouncing out of the playground and spreading the sand into the surroundings This area is connected to a wooden platform with trees and seating. The kiosk along with the seating area form the social amenities of the new park The main refreshment window is located on the busiest pedestrian link – the promenade On the other side are the entrances to the sanitary and service facilities The covered area is on a triangular plan slopes gently down towards the center of the park and offers seating with a wide view of the park and the playground. A subtle open steel and timber pergola is proposed in the eastern part of the site to complement the existing park at the retirement home The circular gazebo is intended to provide shade and seating for visitors to the children’s play area All furniture elements are selected and designed with simplicity of form (matching the overall aesthetic expression of the site) and durability in mind The materials and functional details of each product are consistent with the overall character of the proposed site Input your search keywords and press Enter You can see how this popup was set up in our step-by-step guide: https://wppopupmaker.com/guides/auto-opening-announcement-popups/ Iveco Bus has decided to integrate the production of the electric models Heuliez GX Elec and Iveco E-Way into its French plant in Annonay this year The models were previously only built at the Rorthais site The new E-Way-H2 fuel cell model will also be manufactured in Annonay President of Iveco Bus and currently also President of the ACEA Bus and Coach Division made the announcement at an event on Europe’s industrial strategy in Strasbourg He said Iveco Bus would “electrify its French historic plant in Annonay this year.” The production of the two aforementioned battery-electric buses of the Iveco and Heuliez brands has already been decided the production lines will be designed so that the E-Way-H2 hydrogen bus can also be built there the site will be equipped with a battery assembly line “allowing Iveco Bus to control its entire value chain to best serve its French and European customers.” two each in France (Annonay and Rorthais) and Italy (Brescia and Foggia) and one in Vysoké Myto in the Czech Republic Over 5,000 people are employed at the sites Since the separation of the Iveco Group from its former main investor CNH Industrial the company has also increasingly been offering electric buses “Maintaining competitive production in Europe is a challenge but also an opportunity for reindustrialisation,” said Domenico Nucera “We are rising to the challenge of the energy transition by investing massively in our manufacturing sites in France as well as in Italy and the Czech Republic.” Although Iveco emphasised its own projects and plans to invest 600 million euros (including in a new electric bus platform) it also called for the involvement of other players “Financial support from the States and the European Union will be crucial for this transformation along with enhanced cooperation with public transport operators,” it said ivecogroup.com I agree with the Privacy policy electrive has been following the development of electric mobility with journalistic passion and expertise since 2013 we offer comprehensive coverage of the highest quality — as a central platform for the rapid development of this technology Polar prayers: Spring Ramadan makes midnight iftars a thing of the past for Arctic Muslims Dubai World Cup 2024 fashion: Flamboyant fascinators and flowing dresses set the pace Number of UAE students heading to US nearly halves due to safety concerns and costs TV: World Cup Qualifier 2018 matches will be aired on on OSN Sports HD Cricket channel Profession: Senior sports presenter and producer Favourite book: Al Nabi by Jibran Khalil Jibran Favourite football player: Cristiano Ronaldo Website: www.liliane-tannoury.com National Editorial: Suleimani has been killed, now we must de-escalate Mina Al Oraibi: Air strike casts a long shadow over the decade ahead Matthew Levitt: Iran retains its ability to launch terror attacks Damien McElroy: A CEO tasked with spreading Iran's influence Hussein Ibish: Trump's order on solid constitutional ground Simon Waldman: Cautious Israel keeping a low profile Stay indoors when conditions are particularly poor Ministry of InteriorMinistry of DefenceGeneral Intelligence DirectorateAir Force Intelligence AgencyPolitical Security DirectorateSyrian National Security BureauMilitary Intelligence DirectorateArmy Supply BureauGeneral Organisation of Radio and TVAl Watan newspaperCham Press TVSama TV Jos Buttler, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, David Miller, Tabraiz Shamsi, Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga, Mustafizur Rahman, Shaheen Afridi UAE coins Dh5 note Dh10 note Dh20 noteRemittance charges will be tackled by blockchainUAE's monumental and risky Mars Mission to inspire future generations, says ministerCould the UAE drive India's economy?News has a bright future and the UAE is at the heart of itArchitecture is over - 13006                         AS THE LARGEST bus manufacturing plant in Europe the Vysoké Mýto Iveco Bus facility - located 180km east of the Czech Republic capital city Prague – has celebrated its 125-year anniversary of production Home to local iconic companies Sodomka and Karosa the Iveco Vysoke Myto plant has a long-lasting tradition of producing intercity buses and coaches since foundation 125 years ago With more than 3,800 employees, plus 1,700 subcontractors, it is one of the largest employers in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe with more than 4,000 vehicles made per year This 125th anniversary is, above all, an opportunity to highlight the constant innovations achieved by Josef Sodomka Jr. and his successors, Iveco explains. Original technical solutions have become the basis for the launch of new bus model ranges many of which have been world-renowned and welcomed passengers for decades There are five key models that originated from the Vysoké Mýto plant that Iveco Bus is highlighting during its milestone Although the first bus left the local factory in 1928 the production of buses did not start in full force until the 1950s the main program of the Vysoké Mýto plant became the production of the Škoda 706 RO models developed in Mladá Boleslav Since 1956 it has been followed by the Škoda 706 RTO model one of the design symbols of Czechoslovakia in the 1960s In 1960 the Karosa plant made the first articulated bus in Czechoslovakia 14,969 buses were made in the design for urban From 1965 the production of Š 11 series buses gradually kept developing in Karosa The outstanding feature resulting from the fact that the whole vehicle consisted of six main prefabricated panels boosted this product up to the leading position on a global scale The successful and popular ‘ŠMs’ were replaced by the new 700 range in the production of which a panel construction system was also used the innovation consisted in moving the engine and transmission behind the rear axle From the beginning of series production in 1981 until its end in 1999 a total of 37,166 of all types of vehicles in this range left the plant gates After the privatisation of the company in 1993 Karosa started the development of a new product range 900 The most important Récréo model was the first bus to have a significant impact on Western markets Thanks to the relevant penetration of the 900 series into new markets the production of these buses tripled between 1995 and 2006 almost half of which were exported to France The start of production of the Crossway range dates to 2006 which has gradually become the most successful intercity bus with more than 45,000 units sold The vehicles designed for urban or intercity transport have a built-in six-cylinder Iveco engine The majority of these vehicles from Vysoké Mýto are exported into mostly European countries but it is also successfully exported into Africa Iveco Bus is a brand of CNH Industrial N.V. a global leader in capital goods listed on the New York Stock Exchange and on the Borsa Italiana in Milan A major player in the field of public transport and among the leading bus and coach manufacturers in Europe manufactures and markets a broad range of vehicles that meets all the needs of public and private operators: – standard and articulated city buses – minibuses for all passenger transport missions Iveco Bus benefits from a strong expertise in alternative energies vehicles and is now capable of offering a complete range running on compressed natural gas – fully compatible with biomethane – and in the electro-mobility field The company employs more than 5,000 people across four production units in Annonay and Rorthais Australasian Bus & Coach (ABC) is the leading bus and coach publication in the region providing news directly to the local industry ABC has released monthly magazines all about buses and coaches while our website and eNewsletter continue to keep the industry updated each and every day.  To unlock everything for this league and hundreds of others Liga Division C is a competition in Czech Republic Who do you think will be champions at the end of the season It has an above average record for goals per game Upgrade to FootyStats Premium and unlock Win % View hundreds of betting predictions from our users Premium members get access to our full predictions hub where you can filter by our most profitable users whilst tracking your own bets with virual money You can view the number of cards per game on average The cards markets is one of the most popular and most profitable markets for betting on football You can view the number of corners per game on average The corners markets is one of the most popular PPG : Average points picked up per match across the competition.Higher numbers indicate a stronger team CS : Table of teams with the highest number of matches where they conceded 0 goals Stats are taken from League runs only.* Team must have played a minimum of 7 matches before they qualify for this CS table BTTS : List of teams with the highest number of matches where both teams scored Stats from team's Domestic League runs only.* Team must have played a minimum of 7 matches before they qualify for this BTTS table FTS : Matches where this team failed to score *Goal Heatmap shows when the goals happen in this league.Red = High scoring Home Away Home Away * FHG = First Half Goals in Czech Republic - what our European colleagues call a ‘double earner.’ Built at the Vysoke Myto plant in the Czech Republic Iveco’s biggest bus manufacturing facility producing 4,000 units annually it was developed from the hugely successful Crossway model and has an overall height of only 3.46m Unveiled at the IAA show in Germany last year Offered only as a two-axle coach at 12.097m and 12.962m it is intended for ‘line’ (read ‘interurban’) and touring applications with three different second-door layout options (rear 15 different seating configurations with a maximum of 63 available and a luggage capacity that can be varied up to a maximum of 9.3cum (on the 13m) though large interior racks can provide up to 1.6cum additional space FPT (Fiat Power Train) Cursor 9 being only 8.7-litres two litres less than the Tourismo and four litres less than the rest of the field the unit delivered 400hp/294kW and peak torque of 1,700Nm albeit at considerably higher rpm than the others utilising FPT’s Hi-SCR technology it does not require EGR for emission control a claim only Scania among the other candidates could make A real novelty on the Evadys was its use of the new ZF TraXon automated manual transmission which is set to take over from the current AS-tronic range Among the advantages it is said to offer are a 60% longer service life and reduced noise This is currently one of four gearbox options available with the Evadys the others being automatics from Voith and ZF and the ZF6S-1911BO which is the standard option kitchenette and single centre door was E208,000 a whopping E57,000 less than the next cheapest candidate (the Neoplan at E265,000) and even the most expensive version possible With a model offering this degree of versatility within a low-height package there is inevitably a considerable degree of compromise I found the interior claustrophobic partly because of the small windows but also because of the dark colours and the limited headroom under the racks which are said to be deep enough to take standard airline size cabin baggage The toilet compartment was one of the smallest I have ever encountered – I touched both sides when I tried to get in it a feat further hampered by the narrow throat afforded by the pivot door Opposite it the kitchen unit was cleverly designed Where to mount USB charging points is a difficult issue though Iveco’s decision to have them on the window side of the rack undersides meant that there would inevitably be wires hanging down or trailing into the racks when they were used Positives are a 38kW capacity air conditioning system that is standard across the range and good accessibility at the entrance though an additional rail on the courier seat base would be useful was high at the rear partly because of an unidentified non-driveline related whine that had commenced after the coach left the factory and became worse during the test there was criticism of the dash (standard Crossway) and its mono main display the lack of space for a driver’s cup and the poor mirror on the left Others liked the reversing camera and the big control buttons while the extensively tested windscreen wipers were thought the best of any participants Most drivers thought the TraXon an improvement on the AS-Tronic; it may well be capable of further optimisation though they did not appreciate having to go through neutral The fact that the adaptive cruise control was not operational was a big negative Overall it offered great total cost of ownership at the expense of rather a lot of compromises; perhaps too many for widespread touring use Web Design & SEO by Brave Agency This site uses some unobtrusive cookies to store information on your computer these are in place to ensure that you receive the best possible experience when using the Bus & Coach Buyer website With over a century of experience and expertise in manufacturing public transport vehicles in Europe Iveco Bus continues to thrive on the valuable capital of ideas reveals to Dhiyanesh Ravichandran the company’s products marketing strategies and global expansion plans A brand division of Iveco under CNH Industrial Iveco Bus is a strong supporter of sustainable mobility offering a wide range of low-carbon and alternative traction solutions for buses the brand will actively continue to solidify its strong commitment to energy transition while building fresh strategies for new markets and maintaining the highest levels of excellence in customer service Could you tell us a little bit about Iveco Bus brand Iveco Bus is one of the leading manufacturers of buses and coaches around the world our mission is to develop collective passenger vehicles to meet the needs of present and future mobility Our core values are based on four fundamental pillars which together guarantee a relevant competitive advantage and a perfect balance in terms of quality Iveco Bus has three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities situated at Annonay in France Vysoke Myto in the Czech Republic and Suzarra in Italy What are all the applications or segments your products cater to We are present in all product segments with a wide range of products Our latest novelties include the ‘Crealis’ model range for BRT ‘E-Way’ range of electric buses for regular city applications and BRT networks with opportunity charging and ‘Natural Power’ technology products powered by natural gas and bio-methane fuels We have sold more than 40,000 units of our ‘Crossway’ family of intercity buses across the globe while our ‘Magelys’ and ‘Evadys’ premium coaches and ‘Daily’ range of minibuses are popular as well Iveco Bus featured a full range of low-carbon emission vehicles including electric buses What is your technology strategy in this regard and how is your brand driving customers towards sustainable mobility The bus industry is at a critical phase of energy transition switching from conventional power systems to that of emission-free sustainable sources of energy We at Iveco Bus are committed towards energy transition in buses;
