parents-in-law Edward and Ruby (Thoreson) Marik; and infant twin siblings A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Linda’s obituary the daughter of Charles and Hazel (McCue) Wallis Linda attended Barnes Beauty College of Cosmetology.  Graduating in 1967 she began working in the local beauty salon in Pisgah.   Linda was united in marriage to Daniel Dale Snodgrass at Moorhead Christian Church in Moorhead Iowa.  They were married for 52 years until Daniel’s passing in 2021.    Nebraska and started their family.   In 1977 They moved to Ralston Nebraska where Linda lived for the next 48 years creating lasting friendships and countless memories.   Linda stayed at home and was very involved with her boys’ school and scouting activities for many years Linda also worked at US West and Design Basics in Omaha.  She went back to school and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Bellevue University.  In the spring of 2022 Linda moved to Cedar Falls Iowa where she was active in community activities and church groups.  Linda was a very energetic and outgoing person in every aspect of her life.  She loved to travel and talked often about her trips to Paris and Florida.  Linda also enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s music and sporting events.  She also loved to dance and Lexi Snodgrass; sons-in-law Mike Streeter and Mel Stahmer; and grandchildren Condolences may be left online for the family at www.goslarfunerlahome.com  Arlis Lillian Wegner was born on August 17 1932 in a small farmhouse in rural Iowa Township in Crawford County to Louie and Lillian (Jensen) Wegner.  Arlis passed away peacefully on April 6 A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Arlis’ obituary Burial will follow in the Crawford Heights Cemetery Fellowship and a meal will follow the burial at Boulders Conference Center Arlis spent most of her childhood growing up on farms in the Manning and Aspinwall areas with her two older sisters and younger brother Bill.  She attended various country schools in her primary years.  Arlis began her high school years in Manning but when the family moved in her senior year she graduated with the class of 1949 in Denison IA.  Arlis began working at Builders Lumber and Supply in Denison as a bookkeeper.  She developed a deep pride in being able to work and earn her own money for the first time.  It was during this time that she met Leonard Petersen 1950 at the Zion Lutheran Parsonage in Denison IA.  Their union would last more than 52 years Arlis and Leonard started their married life together in a small farmhouse south of Denison and although times were hard they were happy.    Over the next decade they would be blessed with seven children Leesa and Layne.  The years raising their family were filled with many extended family get-togethers and fun times “Vacation” at grandma and grandpa’s house on the farm was always a special time whether it was busting out some tunes in the kitchen with grandpa’s harmonica or making cookies with grandma and eating homemade ice cream.  Arlis captured the memories by creating a memory book for every grandchild.  Even her great grandchildren had a special and fun-filled bond with her – a rare blessing.   Arlis worked different jobs over the next several decades including working at the Mapleton Sale Barn Staley’s Food Service and Maple Heights Nursing Home until the age of 82.  She took pride in her work and passed that strong work ethic down to her family.   Arlis enjoyed traveling to see her children and family members.  She enjoyed trips to Hawaii and Las Vegas with Leonard and bus trips with her dear friend Florence Kepford.  Over the years Arlis also enjoyed her daily soap opera her owl collection and especially a hot cup of coffee.  It didn’t really matter if it was good stories around the table and even some dancing.  She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino and seemed to always have an extra dose of luck Left to cherish her memory are her children Betty (Dennis) Bilsten Kitt;
