Beth Muehlhausen advises you to take your cause and go jump in a pool
The Gilbert woman has taken to leaping into other people’s swimming pools in the name of charitable giving
being a real estate agent for the aforementioned homesellers
A lot of us support causes with a check once a year or monthly contributions or by attending an event — God bless those who regularly commit their time through volunteering — which is most welcome
People like Muehlhausen find a way to inject just a little joy and anticipation into the practice
What started as a lark for her — to showcase a client’s backyard by going down a slide or taking a dip in the pool — became a tie-in to giving back
Muehlhausen would take a plunge into the pool and make a donation in the name of the homeseller and/or homebuyer
her charity of choice has been Make-A-Wish Arizona
which grants a wish to children with critical illness
Charity giving has plummeted: You can make a difference
Muehlhausen will cross off one of her bucket list wishes — to jump in the swimming pool at Chase Field
to raise awareness for the work of Make-A-Wish
hours before the DBacks host the Washington Nationals.)
The other bucket list item is to take a plunge in the pool of decorated Olympian and Valley resident Michael Phelps — “We’re working on that,” she said
similar to the ALS ice bucket challenge that became viral online a decade ago
but a way to wed charity giving to what she does and the community she does it with
because I’m really a child at heart,” said Muehlhausen
And we know about kids and their affinity for water

Paul police took two people into custody after an apparent carjacking and kidnapping on Sunday
The incident was first reported around 1:30 p.m
Police pursued a 21-year-old man and 22-year-old woman shortly after the incident was reported
The carjacking victim said their vehicle was taken at gunpoint and the suspects abducted a female victim
Muehlhausen said police spotted the vehicle being driven by a woman near Seventh Street East and Arcade Street shortly after
A man moved to the driver’s seat and police followed the vehicle when it failed to stop for emergency lights
The female victim had apparently exited the vehicle before the pursuit began
Police engaged in a quick pursuit with the vehicle until it crashed into another vehicle while crossing over Interstate 35E via Maryland Avenue just before 2 p.m.
Muehlhausen said no injuries have been reported and the 21-year-old man has officially been charged
The incident is currently under investigation

The two individuals reportedly assaulted the employee prior to the shooting, authorities said.
A gas station employee shot two people in St. Paul on Sunday morning after they assaulted him, according to police. The people who were shot were taken to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, St. Paul Police spokesperson Nikki Muehlhausen said.
The 22-year-old employee was arrested and booked into the Ramsey County jail around 11 a.m. Sunday for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by an ineligible person, Muehlhausen said. The Minnesota Star Tribune generally doesn’t name suspects until they are charged.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. when police received a call of shots fired at an ARCO gas station at 306 Larpenteur Ave E. Officers found one victim in the parking lot and another about a block south at the intersection of Mississippi Street and East Wheelock Parkway, police Sgt. Toy Vixayvong said.
Surveillance footage showed someone assaulting a gas station employee amid an argument, Muehlhausen said. When another person started assaulting the employee, the employee began to shoot.
The suspect allegedly shot two people while he was on probation. He was sentenced in September to 20 days in the Hennepin County Adult Corrections Facility plus three years’ supervised probation after he was convicted of paying an underage girl for sex.
Police posed as the minor as part of an undercover sex trafficking sting and arrested the suspect when he arrived at an address officers provided, charging documents state. As a condition of his probation, the suspect is not allowed to possess a firearm.

Do not sell or share my personal information:
Night one took place on Friday's edition of SmackDown which saw McIntyre being drafted and returning to his roots
(Editor's note: This interview was conducted before McIntyre got drafted to WWE SmackDown on Friday and has been edited for length and clarity.)
DAZN: The first two times we chatted this year
Drew McIntyre: I'm not at home right now
I think the first few times we talked was probably in St
you’ll get to see my lovely Nashville home
I've been in Florida for so many years
A lot of significant points of my life and career happened there
She moved from West Virginia to Florida in her teens
We felt like it was time for a fresh start
As much as we love the heat all year round
and that big stupid Irish head Sheamus lives there and his fiance
The people are just really nice in Nashville
I’m a big country music fan now since Nashville is the home of country music
you closed the show pointing the sword at Big E
DM: I've thought about this a lot this past week
I returned to NXT initially but then Monday Night Raw
so I can't imagine not being part of Raw
sometimes it's cool to get a fresh coat of paint to get a change of scenery
I debuted on SmackDown in 2007 and re-debuted in 2009 with the “Chosen One” stuff
so realistically I'll be happy wherever
DAZN: Do you feel like this whole comeback in WWE would be full circle if you did come back on SmackDown
DM: I really do think that'd be the case
I'm very proud of everything I was able to do on Raw especially being champion at the height of the pandemic and leading the charge but at the same time working hard for everyone else to make sure everybody was entertained during those difficult times and be a leader
But if I did end up on Smackdown for me personally
DAZN: The end of Raw was highly discussed with the two good matches with Big E and Bobby (Lashley)
and you coming out at the end surprised many people
A lot of people got excited because that's a program people haven't seen
and that's a program I know that has generated a lot of interest
and what did it mean to you to watch him cash in the Money in the Bank and become the WWE Champion
DM: I was just like everybody else on planet earth
There's nobody that deserves to be WWE Champion more than Big E
I've watched him come through FCW to NXT to start on the (main) roster as a very serious character which is not the real him to teaming with the New Day guys initially as a serious group and finally shown their personality getting over a huge and paying his dues while being such a nice guy the whole time and finally winning the big one
I just feel really bad that he's champion because I have to take it off of him because I want it back
DAZN: Is a heel run still something that’s in the back of your mind that you're like
that would be pretty fun’ because you'd have the perfect babyface foil in Big E
DM: I’m going to go with the flow and see what happens
Whatever my motivation is the fans are going to react accordingly to whatever perhaps I'm feeling at the time
But I'm always going to do what I feel is right for me
I'm going to do what feels right for Drew McIntyre
But a program between Drew McIntyre and Big E
‘Two big guys slapping meat is an easy story to sell’
you talked about feeling like you had unfinished business with Roman Reigns
Is that the unfinished business you're alluding to
DM: I have unfinished business in a lot of ways just from a career perspective and things not working out when I was a kid on SmackDown
there's unfinished business there with Roman 100 percent
and I'm excited when the time comes for that story
DAZN: When you look at the landscape today
is that the biggest money match for you just on a personal and a professional level with Roman Reigns
DM: Personally and professionally 100 percent
He's been unbelievable as a character in the ring and every aspect
and I want to be able to step up to that level
So I'm excited to just like Randy Orton when I won the WWE title; initially
I knew I had to step onto his level as a character in the ring
to prove that I belong at the top of the mountain
I want to knock that tall guy off the top of the mountain and take his spot

Hampus SÖDERLUND proved to be the key player in the Spanish team’s success
Álvaro ROBLES gave the Spanish club a perfect start with a win over Daniel HABESOHN
and Hampus SÖDERLUND followed suit with a victory against Irvin BERTRAND
Steffen MENGEL shifted the momentum by defeating Carlos MACHADO
ROBLES stepped up with a chance to clinch the tie in the fourth encounter
SÖDERLUND held off a spirited comeback attempt by the German side
securing a four-game win over HABESOHN to give the Spanish team a narrow advantage heading into the return leg on April 27

The sentiment of care spreads across the world with an electic talent pool of young fresh faces to the ones you know and love
Former four-time WWE women's champion and WWE Hall of Famer Dumas
talked with DAZN News about the initiative
her struggles with mental health and if WWE chairman Vince McMahon and the president/CEO of AEW
should help spearhead a mental health campaign

DAZN: Why did you want to be in the "Tag Me In" campaign?
DAZN: Why do you feel like it's taken so long to get this message out in wrestling because you're starting to see it in other major sports?
DAZN: Did you go through that a lot of that in WWE where you are having great matches with everyone, and deep down inside, you were having a rough time?
DAZN: After Daphney unfortunately passed away, I’ve wondered why WWE and AEW don't try to spearhead an initiative like you guys are doing, and why it's taking people that are outside both companies to be doing something like this. Do you think it should fall on a Vince McMahon or a Tony Khan to get something going because, at the end of the day, everyone in wrestling is all trying to help each other out?
AD: Yeah. I think definitely in professional sports, it’s more focused, and just checking in would be great. There are these huge companies in professional sports, and just to add an additional point of resource to check in, I think it could provide huge benefits and potentially more profits, which obviously any company is looking at. But if you can have your performers performing at a top level because they feel great, that works for everyone. I would love that.
DAZN: Do you watch a lot of wrestling these days, or is it one of those things once you left after helping out backstage on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT that you try to get that break and not see what’s happening?
AD: Of course, I love it, and I definitely check-in. I was watching a bunch of AEW that I checked in on. I always want to know what's going on. I always want to see what people are doing. So I'd say I float around in what I watch.
I just love seeing the fans like it really deep because I think that excitement of the fans being excited about wrestling translates to the other promotions. It makes people think it would do the opposite, but then people are like, ‘I want more good wrestling.’ So, they're checking in at WWE, Ring of Honor, Impact, NWA, and GCW.
DAZN: What made you decide to enter the world of podcasting?
I was like, 'Jake, I'll do it, but I'm not doing that without Conrad.’ So I never thought Conrad would say yes because he's already got seven podcasts. We've already got the first four in the can. They will start being released on Jan. 4.
DAZN: Reading the press release and yours will differ from what Conrad's doing. His podcasts are all wrestling-based. So, where you're going, you and Jake will sprinkle in some wrestling. We're going to do a bunch of other different stuff that has really nothing to do with wrestling.
DAZN: What do you make right now of the pro wrestling landscape between AEW and WWE here in the United States?
DAZN: Do you prefer the AEW product, or do you prefer the WWE product?
They're singing his song. That's got to be the greatest compliment ever. To me, it’s the greatest entrance in wrestling because the people are so involved with it.
(Editor's note: This interview was edited for length and clarity.)
DAZN: In doing research, I saw that you're a 'Sex and the City' fan. Are you a Carrie Bradshaw or a Samantha girl?
Charlotte Flair: Oh, my gosh, I'm Carrie Bradshaw, but I was fascinated by the glamorous side of what Samantha did for her job. In reality, they're so sassy.
DAZN: A very good weekend last weekend for WWE. A ton of records were broken, and once again, you were right in the front and center of everything and being a really big part of the show in regaining the Raw Women’s title. When you hear that WWE is breaking all these records, and then you get attached to it because you're a big part of the show, what does that mean to you?
DAZN: Everytime I watch you doing that moonsault, I gasp because I'm like, ‘Why are you doing this?’ You have a very beautiful moonsault, but I'm like, ‘Why?' You really only bust it out for the big matches? Do you ever get scared at all just because that move onto the floor is such a dangerous maneuver?
DAZN: I saw Roman Reigns’ tweet about breaking records and getting the fans into a frenzy. It seems like you and Roman just get social media into a frenzy.
CF: I'm pretty sure everyone was on their feet when I won for the 12th time. Roman has had an incredible year. There are levels to this, but I'm on a different level myself.
DAZN: You talk about winning the belt for the 12th time. How does each title win differ from the other, particularly this one?
DAZN: I talked to Jake Paul recently, and I asked him this because you know what fascinates me about high-caliber athletes and how they deal with the hate and trying to block it out? How do you block all that out and just focus on each match because you get a lot of hate more than others?
DAZN: Your dad was the ultimate heel. Is that something you took from your dad, like a bit of advice he gave you in terms of how to handle it? Or is it something you had to figure out on your own and navigate the waters?
CF: That was something I had to figure out on my own navigate the waters because I'd say something and my dad's like, ‘Why do you care, honey?’ You just have to have thick skin. Some days are easier than others. To me, it's all about just never giving it life. Never. Never giving something so negative. I guess what they want is attention. Now I'm the center of attention, again.
DAZN: You can make the parallel that you're the John Cena of female wrestling for WWE. He’s tied with your dad for the most world titles, and you have the most on the female side. Do you view yourself on that level because you're on top of your game and you're on top of the women's division in the WWE?
DAZN: You do know that “A Queen” is bigger than “The Man.” I don't know if you knew that.
CF: (Laughs) “The Man” always bows down to “The Queen.”
DAZN: You hear the chants. We all hear the chants about Becky Lynch. You do a very job of shutting those down before they ever get started. In your mind, is that the biggest female match for you? Even though you faced her before, but it's a completely different level now just seeing where you guys are at?
CF: Number one doesn't talk about number two.
DAZN: Who is number one? Who is number two?
Gonzalez's first appearance as the queen of the mountain comes on Tuesday night of WWE NXT. Ahead of the show, Gonzalez spoke with DAZN News about winning the title, following in the foot steps of past women's champs, and the new wave of women's wrestling led by herself, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.
(Editor's note: This interview has been edited for length and clarity.)
DAZN: Congratulations on becoming the new NXT Women’s Champion. Has it sunk in yet as by the time you get to NXT, you’ll be six days into your title reign?
Raquel Gonzalez: The longest title reign I’ve had (laughs). It's definitely starting to sink in I think today because we had the weekend to go through WrestleMania and enjoy the huge moments that were on night one and night two. Now that it's been Monday and I'm here talking with you and really thinking about my moment Tuesday night on USA. It's starting to sink in. I am the new NXT Women's Champion, and that division is mine.
DAZN: You look at the lineage of who's been the NXT Women's Champions. You look at Charlotte, Bailey, Becky (Lynch), and Asuka. How does it feel to be the champion now, considering who's held that title before you?
DAZN: How proud were you watching Bianca on Saturday and Rhea on Sunday?
RG: I was so proud and so excited because I know how hard both of them have worked. I know that both of them have been going through their own journey and their own struggles as I've been going through mine. To see them both move up to the main roster, have a little bit of a slower start, but then be put into these epic roles right at WrestleMania. I'm speechless for the work that they put in. It's amazing what they both created this weekend.
DAZN: I saw a picture of you being in there at WrestleMania up close in person. When you're watching Bianca and Rhea, are you envisioning yourself in that ring, or are you just watching the performances?
DAZN: You talked about the struggle, and you look at how far you've come from the Mae Young Classic to this point. When do you feel like it finally clicked for you to the point where you are right now?
DAZN: How much of a help has Dakota Kai been for you?
"I think a lot of fans would see they've both had an incredible run of matches, including against each other at Quake by the Lake in August. Since the Grand Slam tournament champions started, we've been on a great run. And I think they're leaders backstage.
"And I think Bryan Danielson also is a huge part of this. Moxley and Chris have been here from the very beginning, and Bryan stepped in and has been one of the most prominent people on the TV shows. So he's a huge part of it.
"Backstage, I think they're all leaders and have helped us get through this period. Bryan was out for a while, and since Bryan came back, it's been some of the best TV we've done. I am grateful he's been a big part of it because it's been great to have Bryan in the shows.
"I don't know. I think it'd be very challenging," Khan admits. "If you looked at many teams, and took three players off of them, three of the most featured and productive players on the team, I think those teams would struggle.
"If you take (Larry) Bird, (Kevin) McHale and (Robert) Parish or Magic Johnson, Kareem (Abdul Jabbar) and (James) Worthy or (Michael) Jordan, (Scottie) Pippen and (Dennis) Rodman off (their) different sports teams (and) you took those three most productive players off.
"These (Moxley, Jericho, Danielson) are three of the most productive players on our team. A lot of great people contribute to the show, but they are three of the most important for sure."
Mysterio went to WCW in 1996, where he became the cruiserweight champion on multiple occasions. After WWE bought WCW, Mysterio entered the company in the summer of 2002 and within a year, he had won the cruiserweight and tag team titles (with Edge).
The year of 2006 changed Mysterio's life forever. He came into the Royal Rumble and entered at No. 2. Facing insurmountable odds, Mysterio went the distance to win the 30-man event. A little over two months later, at WrestleMania 22, Mysterio defeated Kurt Angle and Randy Orton to become the World Heavyweight champion.
Currently, the 46-year-old is coming off a tag team title run with his son Dominik and they are teaming with the returning John Cena in dark matches after SmackDown and on house shows through SummerSlam on Aug. 22.
Mysterio talked with DAZN News about everything from working with Dominik to how his son has done in his first year in WWE, losing the tag team belts to The Usos, and working with John Cena.
DAZN: How did this contest come about with you in Victoria to where two people will win custom crystal jeweled masks worth $10,000, and a necklace pendant worth $1,000?
Rey Mysterio: So partnering with Victoria and WWE, it only made sense being that I am Hispanic. My roots are from Mexico since that’s where I began my wrestling career in 1989. What better person to represent Victoria than Rey Mysterio himself?
DAZN: Where would you rate this in all-time Rey Mysterio masks?
RM: Oh my God, I would say it is in the top three. Each mask is worth $10,000 with crystals on it. What really sucks is that I don't get one. I would rate it number one if I had one.
DAZN: WWE is now back on the road with full capacity crowds. How big of a difference is it having the fans back compared to when you guys were at the Thunderdome?
RM: It makes all the difference. We are our athletes. I feed off my fans. That's my energy. That's my adrenaline. Now my son has been able to witness it firsthand. It's a completely different feeling when you're wrestling in front of fans. He had his first match during the pandemic. He's a pandemic boy. He had no idea what it was like to wrestle around fans.
Seeing him walk out on our first Smackdown in Houston in front of fans, it was incredible. To see his expression and see his energy and nerves, all of those emotions were unbelievable. For me, I've been waiting for this moment to happen. For us to have fans once again in the arenas, and on top of that, to be able to witness myself how my son would react to fans once he stepped in the ring and to do his thing. He's been doing incredible. He's impressed me.
DAZN: Dominik is nearing his one-year anniversary when he made his debut at SummerSlam 2020. How would you rate his progression?
RM: On a scale of one to 10, he’s about an eight in my eyes. Of course, I'm the father, so I see him do well every night. I am very picky with him because that's just how I am, even with my craft. But I also have to understand and tell myself, ‘Well, he's only been doing this for less than a year, so chill, relax. He’s doing good.
But at the end of the day, I think me being hard on him as much as I can is only going to make him better and possibly hate me as well. I just want him to do good. I just him to be ready, and I know he is ready now. He's been learning week by week. He's got incredible coaches next to him on a week-to-week basis. Last weekend, we wrestled with John Cena versus Roman (Reigns) and The Usos.
To hear Cena coaching him in the corner, and he just stayed quiet. What he learned from Cena is completely different than what he's going to learn from me. So I asked Cena to coach my son as much as he can. He's all yours. Dominik learned a lot this past weekend, and it's only gonna get better.
DAZN: Many fans were upset that you guys lost the tag titles to The Usos at Money in the Bank because of the recent DUI with Jimmy Uso. What was your reaction when you were told that you're going to drop the titles to them?
But at the end of the day, I'm always prepared to return whatever I want, meaning titles, you know, whether it's a week, a day after. I became world champion, and I lost the title the same night against John Cena. So there's no hard feelings whatsoever from my end when I have to turn in the titles.
DAZN: John Cena is not around as much because he's doing great things in Hollywood. He's making a big difference so far in his return to WWE very quickly. What does it mean to you to be aligned with him during this current run?
"Huge," Hobbs told DAZN of Henry's influence on him.
"Let's put the match on for her.' That made me feel so much better, so much more comfortable with him in the ring."
Punk beat Hobbs on that evening. It was a very solid match that exceeded expectations from fans and pundits.
"It let me know that I was valued in this company," Hobbs explained.
"You got three great teams in there," Hobbs said.
"Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus are the Tag Team Champions for a reason. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland are in the match for a reason. Ricky Starks and I are in the match for a reason. Now here. Here's a stat. We have not lost a tag team match together since December 2, 2020. So it's been 541 days since we lost a tag team match together.
"We already beat Swerve and Keith. Ricky’s already beat Jungle Boy and Swerve. You can throw Luchsaurus in the mix. Is that going to help? I don't think so. But you look at stats and put it on paper, and if you're a betting man, you see that Ricky Starks and I are the absolute favorites to win this match and walk out the new AEW World Tag Team Champions."
Jon Moxley pinned Chris Jericho to become the second-ever world heavyweight champion of the organization
Moxley had to deal with one of the most trying years in recent memory
reigning as world champion during the COVID-19 global pandemic
2 when he lost to Kenny Omega in one of the best matches of 2020
The path to regaining the gold has seen a lot of twists and turns
But Moxley will get his chance to become a two-time titleholder at this Sunday's Revolution against Omega in an exploding barbed wire death match
It is the first time this brutal type of match has taken place under the lights of a major pro wresting organization in the United States
after gaining notoriety in Japan's Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling promotion in the 1990s
Moxley sits with DAZN News to preview the match
discuss who the best wrestlers in the world are and attempt to explain what is so special about him and Omega
DAZN News: I remember we talked about a year ago
and you could feel that it was a big match (with Chris Jericho)
You could feel the energy even in the building the night of the show
Does this match feel like the match a year ago with Jericho
Or is it on a completely different level to you
The thing with Jericho was a culmination of a year or so kind of for me in coming to AEW and me slaying the final dragon at the end
It was the culmination of our whole eight weeks of television storytelling
It was a real culmination for me just over the previous 18 months from there to kind of get to the top of everything where I felt like I was the number one guy in the business
Because me and Kenny just had this thing where it's like we're destined to destroy each other
It's two guys just for whatever reason
they're two positively charged ions or two diametrically opposed things or whatever it is
whatever you want to call it that just seemingly are destined to create explosions actually
From the moment I walked in AEW and threw Kenny off a 20-foot thing and nearly killed him and put him in an ambulance
we had the pay-per-view match (Full Gear 2019) before we took it to all kinds of extreme levels of violence we haven't seen in this country in a long time
He's the only guy that has ever defeated me in AEW
It's not even like we have this deep story or deep history like a story with like me and Eddie Kingston
Me and Kenny is like me and him in the same room
on the same television screen; just something about the energy creates an explosion
Of all the people I've gone through and run through
and all the people I have dropped on their heads and choked unconscious and everything of everybody will last two years
I've put Kenny through the wringer more than anybody
I've thrown him off a giant stack of poker chips
and dropped him headfirst on a bunch of different hard surfaces
and he still keeps coming back for more and upping the ante
and what kind of screw loose performer that he is
It's just this real combustible thing
You talk about an exploding barbed wire death match
I don't think there's any two perfect guys if you are going to do that
you're going to try to put that on pay-per-view
if you're going to try to sell tickets and put people in the building to watch this match
I don't think there's any two guys better
I don't think better with just kind of personal chemistry and the combustion that creates an explosion
I don't think there's a better combination than me and Kenny Omega for this match
I don't think I'd want to do it with anybody else
DN: Is it fair to say that you guys are in a way kindred spirits
I think you find that the top level of this business and probably a lot of other sports
and different realms of entertainment or any other endeavors
If you go back to the beginning of their careers
you find that they're the people have even though on the surface
you might go those two dudes are totally different people
is a lot of people just want to be at the top and in a more literal way of like
It's important to them to be recognized as
I am the top guy in a competitive sense'
I've wrestled him enough times to kind of know that I think we share the commonality is we're obsessed with the work of life
Although we might play slightly different music
we're just as obsessed with our artwork
That's a cool thing about wrestling because you have different guys with different styles and stuff
or it's like the classic Kenny Omega matches considered classical music
Very detailed ups and downs and these sweeping epic sagas
and what I bring to the table better than anybody would be like thrash metal
like the first time Run DMC and Aerosmith got together
it's rock and hip hop; two different things
I think the matches you've seen with me and Kenny
You have the best of Kenny and the best of what I bring and create something entirely new that nobody's ever seen before
We definitely are kindred spirits in that we're both mad scientists and we're both obsessive artists
really care about the work and feeling satisfied with what we created
That's the most important part to us more so than any material accomplishments
do you feel that you and Kenny are the two best guys in this business
JM: To answer your question very simply and expediently
especially in something like wrestling; it's not like hockey where if you win a Stanley Cup
The most important thing is how do you say who's better: Shawn Michaels or Ric Flair
If your favorite wrestler growing up when you were a kid was Big Van Vader or Ahmed Johnson
then they're the best wrestler in the world to you
It doesn't matter who drew more money or who had people think had better matches
The most important thing is you just got to be the best you
I think we are the two best wrestlers in the world right now
is we're being the best versions of ourselves
We're not being fettered or held back
We're fully creating the things we want to create the things we want to be
We're not being held back by just about anything
There are some things you can't do on regular television
As long as I'm not going out there swearing or whipping my d– out
I can pretty much do whatever I want creatively
You're getting the best version of Kenny Omega
the best version of Jon Moxley on a weekly basis on Dynamite
I don't think anybody's doing it at a higher level than me and Kenny are right now
We're in a position with AEW where we just get to go out there
and get a chance to score touchdowns on a weekly basis
Nobody's doing it at a higher level than us two right now
DN: Why should fans watch the exploding barbed wire deathmatch between you and Kenny Omega
JM: I think you have to watch this weekend
not only because it's going to be an amazing pay-per-view top to bottom
but AEW's got maybe the most stacked talent roster or one of them in the world right now
I think we're hitting on all cylinders right now
We've never not delivered a big home run I think on PPV as far as the best every kind of wrestling
from high flying wrestling to tag team wrestling to the main event
It's always worth your money to get an AEW pay-per-view
I think you're going to see something because you're guaranteed to see a type of match you've never seen on American soil first of all and that you haven't seen anywhere in decades
Not only is it maybe the most dangerous type of match ever
it's the most spectacularly violent type of match ever with probably the best two wrestlers ever to attempt it or engage in it both at the same time
It's not just an exploding barbed wire death match
it's the two best wrestlers in the world having an exploding barbed wire death match
It's going to be something incredibly special that may never happen again
people are going to be talking about it for decades to come
So you definitely want to be there live to make sure that you are part of it or remember it when you are talking about it for the next 20 years
DAZN: I missed you in Chicago when you guys were here a couple of weeks ago
So I think our paths can still not cross Drew except for that one time at SummerSlam
Drew McIntyre: I say there’s plenty of time
I'm assuming that Jake Paul's fight was cool to see in person
So when I have that big heel turn down the line
I'm going to start taking tips from that guy as everybody freaking hates him
I know Logan (his brother) has done some stuff for WWE in the past
He's done some stuff on SmackDown and appeared at WrestleMania this year
But every time I hear in Logan and hear the name Logan
DM: Would have said Corbin before the Happy Corbin thing
But there was a point when Corbin had zero redeeming qualities
It was awesome because that's a true genuine bad guy through and through
And that's what we really need for what we're missing
I think it's just that genuine bad guy with no redeeming qualities
So if anyone says there is a really good bad guy is not really a good bad guy
That's why Paul (Heyman) is so good because people would just roll their eyes and boo him wherever he goes
People will pay money to see him get his ass kicked
DAZN: We talked the day you moved to SmackDown
How would you make of your time so far on the blue brand
not being in a rush to jump to the finish line
My concern was getting to that title match with Roman too quickly
We talked last time that everything's come full circle
back to where it all began in my early 20s
I have a chance to kind of redo what went wrong in the first part of my career and 52 weeks a year
whether it’s Roman or Brock (Lesnar) after this Saturday
I wouldn't have to say I won this match
The crowd will be saying we want him to have this match like 2020 leading into the (Royal) Rumble
So as long as it's done the path we're on
I think it's going to happen organically down the line
We'll also be establishing McIntyre and momentum
DAZN: There was an unfortunate incident recently in the six-man tag match on the house show with Jeff Hardy and him ending up being released from the company
How weird of a situation was that for you in particular
the internet can take something and blow out of proportion
But all I'll say on the matter is I just want what's best for Jeff and for him to be healthy
as long as he's happy with his family
You went from being the WWE Champion to no longer having the title to being in a number of main events
not being able to regain the gold and then also going back on SmackDown
DM: 2021 was peaks and valleys for Drew McIntyre
My whole life has been about ups and downs
2020 was very much and living in the peaks for basically the whole year
I've had to go into some of those valleys
but everyone watches my journey to get to take the ride with me
It makes me more relatable as somebody who's six-foot-five
Not exactly the most relatable and blessed to tell my story
which is Drew's had to go through a lot and had to work really hard
I can hear by the reactions on a SmackDown show and the live events
They're getting louder and louder all the time because we're taking people on that ride where
Nobody beat me for these last couple of years
which has been awesome that I don’t have to play a character anymore
just not really characters generic as hell
it's been Drew Galloway as Drew McIntyre
Major wrestling rumours emerged last night
when it was reported that WWE had reached an agreement to sell the company to the Saudi Arabian Public Investments Fund
Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN initially tweeted:
Sources: #WWE has been sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund
Unknown if Vince McMahon will return to head of creative but it is expected by some people
Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam reported the following
The deal isn’t completely finalized because WWE must provide notice to shareholders & other parties
I’m told a deal has been agreed to in principle
Dave Meltzer spoke about the backstage reaction to the news on Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that there were a lot of people ‘scared’ and there was a ‘lot of uncertainty’ in the company.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required)
there are reportedly a number of wrestlers
including some who recently made their return
who said they would walk out of the company should a sale to Saudi Arabia be announced
Some additional information and clarification about how the rumours started has since been revealed, which can be found here.
We will bring any additional information on a potential WWE sale as it becomes available

Before he looks to dethrone "The Head of the Table," Balor sat down with DAZN to discuss his evolution since his first match with Reigns in 2016, how Reigns is misunderstood, and returning to his roots from his time in Japan.
DAZN: How would you compare the run in NXT to when you first came into WWE and started in the black and gold brand?
DAZN: I saw something on your Twitter page, and you had an interesting picture up of when you first met Roman in the ring in that tournament for the Universal title in 2016 to how you guys look right now. How would you compare your game right now compared to when you first squared off with him in 2016?
DAZN: How do you look at Roman’s game now, and what do you make of his evolution? Because you look at what happened when you guys faced off in 2016, and you beat them to go on to beat Seth (Rollins) to win the Universal title, and you look at how Roman’s evolved. It took Roman another four years to finally get to where many thought he would eventually be.
I think we had a five-way at Extreme Rules, pay-per-view main event, and I made my entrance, Samoa Joe made his entrance, Braun Strowman made his entrance, and then all of a sudden Roman Reigns makes his entrance, and the energy in the building changed because it's Roman Reigns, and we're talking four years ago at this point. But when his music hit, you can feel the energy not only in the ring but in the venue change.
He's the real deal. It may have taken a lot of time for the media or the fans to realize that, but I think his peers, the boys in the locker room, have been well aware of this for a very long time.
DAZN: What would it mean to you once again wear the Universal title and quite arguably be the top dog per se in WWE?
FB: Look, I wasn't born into this business. I'm not from a wrestling family. I come from a family of railroad workers. I had to work for everything that I got in this business. I'm sure it would be incredible to be champion again. Probably, most importantly, to answer the question that I've been asked for the last five years, what would have happened if you never got hurt in 2016?
DAZN: What's life been like for you since the Royal Rumble when you shot up to the main roster to be paired with Bad Bunny
It’s everything I've ever wanted and more
from the Royal Rumble and just the amount of attention I've been getting
It's just been what I've always wanted
DAZN: Guys and girls that make the WrestleMania debuts normally don’t get put in prime positions
You think of Brock (Lesnar) and (Kurt) Angle
What does that mean to you in the fact that you got this prominent spot in your first WrestleMania
This is why I wanted to come here and to actually achieve it and then to be in there and not just have a match
I don't understand how I was chosen to be successful in that spot
I think all of us in the ring because it takes all of us
I was looking out into the crowd and seeing all the smiling faces of people jumping up and down
That was just as much like we shared all that together
hyped and all the ball of emotions that are positive
We all shared those together in that moment
DAZN: WrestleMania has always been associated with celebrities
Sometimes they’re enforcers outside the ring or ring announcing
How well is he going to do?’ We've seen some flops in the past
but we saw last year with Pat McAfee in one of the best performances for the first time in a wrestling match
What did it show you about the dedication he put towards the craft because some celebrities come in
DP: We started working out because I trained with him from the get-go
I was with him and others like Norman Smiley
Other hands helped his training and getting him ready
But I was there the entire way—every single time
We got in the ring before the Royal Rumble
We all made sure that he was ready for every little step
Sometimes we'd have to go to Tampa and put in work before Smackdown
is there any way we can get in the ring?’ We had extra rings at the time we were at Tropicana Field
let's drive two hours to spend two hours and then drive two hours back
I knew he would surprise a lot of people because though again like you said
That doesn't mean you're going to be any good
It doesn't mean you're taking it to the fullest seriously
but they didn't train to the level he did mentally
and anybody else in the ring because the first thing he was worried about was earning respect
He wanted to make sure that people didn't like him just because he was a celebrity here
He wanted to earn the respect of the boys and girls first and then go from there
I've never seen anybody treat this business the way you have
So thank you for doing that and being so respectful to our stuff’
I was so happy that he got to deliver the way
He did shock everyone because he earned it
He really did earn that opportunity and that moment
DAZN: What did it show you about the humbleness that he had towards pro wrestling
It shows you don't have to be a bad person to succeed
That was the one thing that why we became friends
We didn't want to have to change the way we spoke
We're still having a good time and doing what we love doing
He's really fortunate because he's him
There's a reason why there's so much
I can see why it's because he puts in the work
and he's just a good human being for it
It showed even when he transitioned over (to WWE)
This will be something that you can do no problem
there's not much I can't see him in the entertainment business not being able to accomplish if he decided to go for it because of the way he dedicated himself to this
I could only imagine that's how he dedicates himself to his music and his companies
DAZN: I saw on Twitter a couple of hours ago a little interaction you had with Triple H
I know from talking to him in the past how much he cares about the guys and girls that have been in NXT and even to see their growth when they've gotten to the main roster
DP: There's a reason why that’s an ongoing joke with every talking about H at Performance Center is because we’re like his kids
I'm not sitting here right now if it was not for him
He's the one that brought me in to start with and said we're going to do something with you
He was always on top of me and telling me to be yourself
I figured it out around my match with Finn Balor
trying to listen to see how his brain sees things the way it does
He says things and does things that I'm like
But when he goes out of his way and says certain things in private
and helps you and he tells me to call him if I have a question
don't keep it in and just let me know if I can help guide you through that
Those things have nothing to do with his job
But that's just him caring about the humans and being a good person
That means more than a lot of the other stuff
when I came back through the curtain at WrestleMania
and basically let me know that what he wanted for me
He was happy that I was able to enjoy that moment

Anderson talked with DAZN News about why he changed his podcast format
his son making his AEW debut and working with unique opponents
You received a great present when your son Brock picked up a big victory in his AEW debut
You looked like a very proud pop from the time you guys walked out until the match ended
I can just see this sparkle in your eye the entire time
Arn Anderson: It would be easy for me to try to play a hard ass on this and go
business as usual.’ When it's your son out there
he probably had not enough training yet to be under those circumstances
But to see him have his first day in a business that I have loved since I was eight years old — and I tell people
it's the greatest way to make a living on the earth
To see him enjoy himself and hold his own and do well
DAZN: How would you rate his first time on national TV compared to your first time on national TV
I walked out on Atlanta TV and just got slaughtered
I was just one of the cattle called that came to television and different territories around the world and was there for one reason: To enhance the other guy
It’s probably as far one end of the spectrum as you can be from his debut
as it’s known as the early years of ‘Marty Lunde.’ Arn Anderson’s real name is Marty Lunde for people who don't know or live under a rock
What went behind the decision to flip the format of the podcast
AA: Let me just tell you the honest God's truth
‘You can have a new beginning here.’ I'd gotten to the point
But I swore I was not going to be that bitter wrestler that had a hell of a career
ever am around another wrestling match and it cuts off today
I'm very fortunate to have spent all this time
I don't want to be that bitter guy that turns around now and starts to kick everybody in the ass and blame everybody
I want to enjoy what's left of my career and my son's career as long as I can and feel good about it
I saw myself week after week critiquing those pay-per-views for WWE
but it came across as just bitching and being bitter
I would read comments from some of the people on our Twitter page for the podcast
He doesn’t sound like he's having fun.’ It woke me up because I listen to you guys
Conrad's a guy you could laugh with and laugh at some time
I don't think because everybody has a beginning
I don't think we went back and just covered the rough road that I had because it might make some people feel better about themselves that they're not alone out there and rough childhoods or not having parents and having grandparents step up
And all these things that it happened to me growing up as I was very
and making it to where I can provide a nice living for my family and my children go to college
but it's the best money I've ever spent
I want to be a guy that people enjoy listening to and being around
and we've just gotten to about the fourth year in the business
We haven't got to the Crockett stuff and WWF stuff and back to WCW
We're just now finishing up Pensacola
right after the Great American Bash where you turned on (Kevin) Sullivan
I've always wanted to know your mind's process when you were a producer for WWE and WCW
But I enjoyed this more because it seems like you're happier about it
and it's when you got your start in the business
AA: I think a lot of this is just being discovered
I felt like I’m more over now after being out of the business all this time because people go back and appreciate your body of work
He gets his ass kicked every single week.’ It's true
I wasn't a body guy or one of those guys that was special
and you start seeing some of the magic I pulled off with less-than-stellar performers
They look at things a little more under the microscope
I never appreciated that guy being able to pull a match out of this other guy who is obviously rotten
DAZN: Who were a couple guys where you're like
I don't I can't do nothing with you,’ but when you got to the back
AA: I was not able to make it happen with the Renegade
and it drove him nuts that I called him CM News
Yo baby Yo," which somebody thought was going to be brilliant
It's the damnedest thing I've ever seen
But it's the absolute opposite of what I was trying to get to happen
In the semifinal of the Champions League Men 1
FC Saarbrücken TT was under great pressure to justify opening leg win against Post SV Mühlhausen 1951 e.V
with three matches out of four went full distance
Darko JORGIC overcame KIM Taehyun (8:11 11:4 5:11 11:8 6:5) and he also overcame Ovidiu IONESCU (11:7 10:12 10:12 11:8 6:1)
Patrick FRANZISKA also beat IONESCU (11:13 12:10 13:11 11:5)
Takuya JIN lost to Daniel HABESOHN (6:11 12:10 11:6 9:11 1:6)
“It was another very difficult match for us
For the beginning it was clear the match could go either way
If I had lost the opening match that was resolved with sudden death point Franziska would be under even greater pressure against IONESCU
KIM was also at the top of his game he brought out the best in us
I believed I could beat him even in the moments when it went from e.g
Patrick and Ovidiu met the expectations and they played close game as they always did
FRANZISKA maintained focus even when he was losing and thanks to that win and 2:0 we were in the final
JIN had his chances against HABESOHN but Daniel won it deservingly
At the end Ionescu and I played the match that could not make the difference for neither of us but we kept the level high.”
In the final they will meet Borussia Düsseldorf
“We are constantly playing so many matches against each other
We are looking for surprises and we hope for the spectacular final
Our aim is to win first ever title in Champions League.”
Patrick FRANZISKA said: “We feel very relieved It could be easily 2:0 for Post SV Mühlhausen at the beginning; we won it by narrow margin almost stole it
Now we are looking forward our match against Borussia Düsseldorf
They won last time but we hope for our first title.”
At a time when it sounds like AEW could use all the help it can get..
Tony Schiavone has reportedly been told that he is effectively now Tony Khan's "right-hand man" in All Elite Wrestling
DAZN's Steven Muehlhausen stated as much on Tuesday
who was with World Championship Wrestling from 1990 until WWE's 2001 buyout
has experience navigating that promotion's notoriously chaotic backstage environment
which should come in useful given AEW's current situation
Sources: Not formally an update but news on Tony Khan
Hes really leaned on Tony Schiavone and been told hes now Khan's "right-hand man"
Schiavone knows all about chaos when he was in WCW and should be a great person to lean on and be a sounding board on Punk/Elite altercation
with an increasingly volatile backstage situation coming to a head after last week's All Out 2022 pay-per-view
and others are currently in limbo following a chaotic backstage brawl seemingly sparked by Punk's comments at the post-show media scrum
and Colt Cabana all came in for intense criticism from Punk
who is believed to have thrown a punch at Matt Jackson during the fight
Schiavone, meanwhile, has been with AEW since August 2019. Initially brought in as an announcer, he was named AEW's new Senior Producer and Special Advisor to Talent in a backstage shake-up designed at reshaping the company's talent relations department last month

LITTLE ROCK — When you leave your vehicle with a mechanic
you figure the worst that can happen is things are going to cost more or take longer than you expect
One Little Rock man says his experience was worsemuch worsethan that
This spring Cody Muehlhausen needed to have a new transmission put into his 1994 pick-up
He picked Glen Daniels Transmission to do the job
After about a week he stopped by to check and see how the job was coming along
"After walking all around and talking to a couple of people who worked theremy truck wasn't anywhere to be found," recalls Cody Muehlhausen
"They just told me I had to talk to Glen Daniels."
It turns out Cody's truck had been stolen
a Caprice and a Mercedeshad been broken into
Cody's truck was recovered a couple days later
but he says whoever stole it blew out the engine
"I was told that they are dummy cameras just to give off the impression that they have surveillance."
We wanted to ask Glen Daniels about that assertion as well as about overall security at his business
Although he has visited with us in the past about complaints
on this subject Daniels refused our offer to do an on-camera interview
Muehlhausen says the more he learns about Glen Daniels
"I just keep finding more and more people who have had nothing but problems with Glen Daniels," says Muehlhausen
Daniels says he did replace the engine that was damaged following the theft
but Muehlhausen says it did little good because his truck still doesn't run right
This partnership was made possible thanks Germany’s recent history
The City of Münster had already tried to establish relations with a city in the former GDR in the 1980s
which had been divided after the Second World War
not until the German-German border reopened
that the friendship treaty between Mühlhausen and Münster was signed in 1990
It was the first partnership between two German cities with democratically elected municipal parliaments
