The physically favourable properties of lead for shot pellets can hardly be matched by other metals
there is a need for lead-free shotgun shells where this is required by law
In the Rottweil Waidmannsheil hunting cartridge line
there are alternatives with bismuth or soft iron shot
which can also be used in wetlands depending on the intended use: Here is an overview of what to look out for:
Now there are certainly ways to hunt lead-free with the appropriate level of success
The renowned ammunition manufacturer Rottweil produces various lead-free hunting shot cartridges that have a similar energy output and maximum shooting distance compared to lead cartridges
Magnum Steel and Steel HV series offer a performance and price that is almost on a par with premium lead cartridges
the manufacturer's commitment to its top quality line
remains unchanged: only extensively tested and selected hulls
Just as high quality on the outside: smudge-proof printing on the cases and high-quality packaging as well as high gloss base brass
The Rottweil "Waidmannsheil Bismuth" cartridges offer around 22 per cent higher material density compared to steel shot
which improves lethality over longer ranges
rather large-area coverage and a better hit rate
These cartridges are also suitable for non-steel proofed shotguns and can be used independently of the choke type
the non-toxic bismuth shotshells allow for hunting that is both environmentally friendly and good for hunters' health
With a maximum muzzle velocity (v2.5m) of up to 390 m/s
the Rottweil "Waidmannsheil Bismuth" cartridges offer maximum energy output
long ranges and a reduced travel time for moving targets
in 12 gauge are filled with 32 grams of shot pellets shot pellets with a diameter between 2.5 and 3.7 mm
and in 12/70 wth 28 grams of shot pellets with a diameter between 2.5 and 3.5 mm
These are the advantages of the new lead-free Rottweil Waidmannsheil shotshells:1
Improved material properties: The shotshells of the Waidmannsheil Bismuth cartridges consist of pure bismuth with a density of 9.78 g/cm³ and are therefore 22 per cent denser than soft iron
they are significantly softer and more malleable.2
Higher hit rate: Thanks to the higher density of bismuth
a larger shot number can be used with the same pattern compared to lead shot
This increases the number of shots in the cup and therefore the hit rate.3
Greater freedom: The Waidmannsheil Bismuth allows unrestricted hunting with lead-free ammunition for all types of small game - on wetlands
Rottweil takes a different approach with its two steel shot cartridges: The ROTTWEIL WAIDMANNSHEIL MAGNUM STEEL shotshells with shot made of high-quality soft iron offer a powerful option for hunters who are looking for maximum penetration and accuracy (to be used only in steel shot proofed shotguns)
With their rugged construction and increased bullet energy
these cartridges are particularly suitable for demanding hunting situations and offer reliable performance in a variety of environments
MAGNUM STEEL is available in 12/76 with a 36-gram payload (v2.5m 400 m/s) and in 20/76 with a 28-gram payload (v2.5m 395 m/s)
The corresponding variant in 12/70 and 20/70 is called ROTTWEIL WAIDMANNSHEIL STEEL HV (HV for High Velocity) and is categorised as a "rapid soft iron cartridge"
It is available in 12/70 with a 32-g shot payoad between 2.70 and 3.75 mm in pellet diameter and with a 24-g steel shot payload in 20/70 (2.50 to 3.75 mm shot pellets diameter)
the shotgun must be proofed for use with steel shot
so perhaps this is a good time to ask your dealer..
Here you will find further information on all currently available Rottweil hunting and sporting shot cartridges.

At the thyssenkrupp Test Tower in Rottweil
engineers research emerging elevator technologies
The structure's high-tech design and fast construction were only possible through BIM
houses Germany’s highest public observation platform and 12 shafts where engineers research and test emerging high-speed elevator technologies for the skyscrapers of tomorrow
thyssenkrupp is testing elevators that run both vertically and horizontally
cities will be bigger and buildings more complex,” says Beate Höhnle
“This means it will be necessary to transport more people—and it’s precisely for these situations that we’ve created the MULTI elevator.”
and can change direction using an exchanger
This technology allows several elevator cars to run in the same shaft simultaneously and shrinks the maximum passenger wait time to just 30 seconds
As part of the tower’s sustainable-management emphasis
elevator braking energy is recovered and used to heat the building’s rooms
The tower stands like an enormous drill bit
twisting its way into the sky above the lush
lies sophisticated technology that was made possible by digital construction methods
The thyssenkrupp Test Tower is the largest building ever built with an exterior membrane
Werner Sobek and Helmut Jahn wanted to “throw a negligee over the cylindrical tube” and covered the body with a fiberglass fabric
From a distance, the membrane looks like a closed concrete wall, but it’s actually a textile net that grows more transparent as the facade climbs the height of the tower. “We wanted to widen the view upward by using different-mesh widths,” says Maximilian Karcher of engineering and architecture firm Werner Sobek
Approximately 2,700 metric tons of steel were used in the tower’s walls and ceilings to make the structure able to withstand these environmental extremes
“The interior of the building is so complex that we had to check possible clashes in advance using a digital model,” says Dr
who served as planning coordinator for the shell
The complete building exists digitally as a BIM (Building Information Modeling) model in Autodesk Revit, which made it possible to use Autodesk Navisworks to detect clashes
The construction process was also digitized: Some components
so those involved in construction could track the materials at all times and know immediately if anything went awry on the jobsite
The tower was built using a vertical construction method known as slip forming: It was pulled up from below and “slipped” into the air
concreted as a single continuous piece in a three-shift
“You can’t afford a single work stoppage when using the sliding-construction method,” Franzius says
no one was allowed to work underneath the sliding-scaffold system used in the slip-forming process
which meant that the entrance area at the foot of the tower was built at the very end of construction
“In order to guarantee the stability of the tower
we first had to fill openings such as windows with concrete,” Franzius says
The tower awes visitors with its stunning panoramas of the surrounding countryside
but the real benefit of being perched on the edge of the Black Forest is proximity to 10,000 engineering students at the surrounding universities and scientists at neighboring research centers
This talent pool will have a part in shaping the cities of tomorrow and setting lofty standards for the megacities of the future

began building this roughly 800-foot-tall tower
Its lift uses magnetic levitation to pull its ropeless elevators both horizontally and vertically
letting them move with the apparent floating ease of the famous glass elevator in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
But there’s a bonus, too. The tower also boasts an observation deck about 760 feet above the ground. It’s the highest visitor platform in Germany

which opened to the public in October of 2017

all became more than just their function—they became iconic symbols of their location
ThyssenKrupp’s fabric-wrapped Rottweil test tower must become a symbol of its place and surroundings
the internationally celebrated architect who collaborated with the equally celebrated structural engineer Werner Sobek on the tower
“It can do that if it does not just fulfill its function as a test facility for ThyssenKrupp
but [also] for the residents and visitors of this place,” he says
is a leading world designer and manufacturer of advanced elevators
is bisected by the valley of the Neckar River in the southwest corner of Germany and is shaped by 14th- and 15th-century Gothic style churches and historic stone defense towers that encircle the inner core
With its fabric mesh that acts as a shield to protect the structure from intense sunlight and wind
the ThyssenKrupp tower is in dialog with these ancient towers.
“Designing a building of such importance is a serious responsibility,” Jahn says
“The tower becomes an expression of the progressive culture of ThyssenKrupp and of the progressive spirit of the citizens of Rottweil.”
It makes sense that this fabric-clad tower is located here
Rottweil is almost equidistant between two historically significant cities linked to the development of fabric/membrane structures and its industry: south of Rottweil is Radolfzell (located at the northwestern end of the inland “sea” of Lake Constance
This is where a number of membrane structure fabricators have located as well as engineering and design firms specializing in tension structures
where the University of Stuttgart has a history of training dozens of innovative structure engineers since the 1940s
and where the progenitor of all this activity
established his Institute for Lightweight Structures (IL)
Many important architects and engineers have passed through these institutions on their way to creating new and influential firms
“The ThyssenKrupp tower is used to test and certify high-speed elevators,” Sobek says
“and contributes considerably toward reducing the development time of future skyscrapers throughout the world.”
an observation deck for visitors (including exhibition space and a cafe)
the tower is more than just a research and development building
It has multiple entrances located at different elevations at the base of the tower to accommodate different groups of people.
“The building entrance is integrated into the landscape by means of berms,” Jahn says
“A ring-shaped bypass opens up four different entrances that allow customers
visitors and delivery traffic to be separated
buses and trucks are located parallel with the bypass.”
starting from the top: at 246 meters (807 feet) high
the tower is the tallest structure in the valley
Visitors get 360-degree views of the Alps and immediate area at the 232-meter (761-foot) mark
the highest visitor platform anywhere in Germany
Areas for presentations and company offices are located on levels from 185 to 200 meters (607 to 656 feet)
“Customers can access the lifts via a naturally lit
glass staircase leads to the double-decker and twin elevators” on view and in use by visitors
The structure of the test tower is made of a thin reinforced concrete tube with a diameter of 20.8 meters (68 feet)
with the walls of the elevator shafts inside the tube only marginally transferring horizontal loads throughout the height of the tower
This means that it is a highly efficient structure with an average exterior wall thickness of only 25cm (9.8 inches)
Wind loads on the concrete shell add minimal deformations at the top of the tower of only 331mm (13 inches) resulting in a ratio of 1/725
a value comparable to the usual ratios in most high-rise construction
The exterior fabric wrap contributes to the overall structural performance and improves the durability of the concrete portion of the tower
“The envelope consists of an extremely long-lasting PTFE-coated glass fiber fabric that increases in transparency as it ascends the tower,” according to a report from Sobek’s office
Approximately 16,000 square meters (172,200 square feet) of the fabric membrane is installed in a helical pattern in six long strands of fabric—each strand 12 meters (39 feet) wide—weaving their way up the tower about 2.5 meters (8 feet) away from the concrete tube surface
the mesh fabric begins at the base with 15 percent openness; at about a quarter way up
22 percent openness; to arrive at the top quarter of the total height with 27 percent openness
bringing in more light and expanding the views from the elevators as they rise to the observation deck level.
“The fabric is secured to six steel pipes that spiral around and encircle the shaft of the tower,” Sobek says
“The prestressing required for the fabric creates spatially curved surfaces between the pipe ribs … which has an extremely positive effect on the vibration behavior of the tower
and in particular dampens the effects of oscillations.”
Constructing the fabric wrap for the tower posed numerous challenges to Taiyo Europe GmbH
as well as the lead installer of the PTFE glass membrane.
“The complexity and uniqueness of this project resulted from the height of the building,” says Frank Höreth
“Due to the high altitude and continuous movement of the concrete tower caused by wind and sunlight
a special method of surveying was needed to develop the precise positioning of anchors” for attaching the helical steel pipes
The local construction safety regulations also imposed on the process
Taiyo Europe created a ring-shaped installation platform that moved up and down the tower
Installing and mounting the anchors began from the bottom
followed by attaching the six helical steel pipes and attachments for the fabric beginning from the top down
and attached to these were steel A-beams that were used to hold the fabric away from the concrete tower surface by 2.5 meters (8 feet).
Architects are always trying to find more value in their designs that give back to the client
and energy savings are a big part of all construction worldwide by mandate for obvious reasons
When efficiency can be combined with good aesthetics
the concrete mass is used as energy storage,” says Jahn
where any “existing waste heat is used to condition the rooms.” This strategy of finding secondary and sometimes tertiary means of ringing every last BTU out of the energy consumed by buildings is more and more the norm for architectural and construction practice.
The ThyssenKrupp tower was given the Balthasar Neumann Award for 2018
a prize that is awarded to a team for outstanding achievements in integral planning
The award highlights how different disciplines have cooperated “in an exemplary and innovative manner and far exceeding established engineering standards to construct a building.” In the same year
the tower earned the German Federal Engineering Award and was a finalist for the German Facade Award
the tower received the 2019 Award of Excellence in the Hybrid Tension Structure category of IFAI’s International Achievement Awards (IAA) and earned the IAA “Best in Category” title for all fabric structure projects
Precedent-setting in both structural and honorary fields
the ThyssenKrupp tower is a success socially for its observation deck: in its first year of operation
more than 250,000 visitors enjoyed great views of the Alps and surrounding valley
“The monumentality of this tower,” Jahn says
“is evident both day and night by the light

Rottweil expands its Game Edition range with four new loads in 20/70 and one new load in 12/70
Each cartridge features muzzle velocities and shot loadings tailored for a certain species of game to “guarantee the best possible success” in hunting
Rottweil's Game Edition consists of a range of cartridges with muzzle velocities and shot loadings tailored for certain species of game
the line now expands with four new loads in 20/70 gauge and a new load in12/70 gauge
hunters are re-discovering this gauge because of its lower weight and milder felt recoil
which make shooting easier and less fatiguing
Many ammo manufacturers are rediscovering it too
and Rottweil now adds four new loads specifically designed for duck
The 20-ga Game Edition Duck is loaded with 24g of No.5 (3mm) soft iron shot
while the Game Edition Pigeon is loaded with 30g of No
The 20-ga Game Edition Pheasant consists of 28g of No.6 (2.7mm) lead shot with felt
and the Game Edition Woodcock of 30g of No.9 (2mm) lead shot
The range is also being extended to include a special 12/70 cartridge for hunting red-legged partridge
grey partridge and ptarmigan (according to the region): the new 12/70-ga Game Edition Partridge
To guide the consumer in buying the right ammunition
the new cartridges and their packaging sport attractive illustrations of the game species to be hunted – to avoid mistakes
What all these cartridges have in common are their power levels and energy distribution patterns
which have been optimized for the specific small game they are dedicated to
“They deliver a PLUS of game-specific pattern energy at short
middle and long shooting distances and thus guarantee the best possible success in small game hunting.” Rottweil
stresses that the advantages of the Game Edition cartridges over others are not game-specific and are not limited to the killing power for specific game
The new Rottweil Game Edition loads are already available
and we at at all4hunters are looking forward to put to test these new “taylor-made” cartridges in the field

New for 2020: shotgun shells exert a special fascination
With regular practice they are an effective alternative and can enrich everyday hunting life
Lead-free slugs in particular are an ideal way to use your beloved shotgun where lead ammo has been banned
With the Exact Green shotgun slugs of its Extra Line
Rottweil is now bringing two of these new products onto the market as standard and magnum loads
Especially in combination hunting guns, a shotgun slug can be an interesting addition. Since the request for effective lead-free hunting bullets is becoming ever louder, Rottweil has reacted accordingly with the Exact Green
The new shotgun slug in 12 gauge is made from food-safe tin
This is available in two loads: a 12/70 (2¾ chamber) with regular gas pressure for standard shotguns and a 12/70 (2¾ chamber) with a magnum load (max
1050 bar) for shotguns proofed for higher pressures
the 25 g projectile should reach about 515 m/s
The Magnum version drives the tin projectile with a green plastic tail up to 565 m/s
this corresponds to up to 30% more energy into the game body compared to competitors with a Brenneke lead slug
The higher speed results in both a smaller lead factor for fast-moving game and a flatter trajectory
We are looking forward to the first hunting experiences with it
Both load versions of the lead-free Rottweil shotgun slugs will be available in specialist stores from June 2020

For many hunters who like to use a shotgun
hunting waterfowl such as wild ducks is one of the most beautiful types of hunting
Rottweil wants to contribute to the success of waterfowl hunting with the two BI-Load and FE-Load cartridge types
What else is involved in waterfowl hunting is revealed in the following article
For some hunters the memories of the last duck hunt are still very present and although the hunting season ended only a few weeks ago
they are already looking forward to the next season
Joint duck shooting is simply a wonderful type of hunting that promises the avid waterfowl hunter a challenging experience with the shotgun
combined with pure enjoyment of nature for all his senses
The characteristic wing flapping noise of the approaching feathered game alone makes the hunter's heart beat faster
If the dogs have done a good job and at the hunt's end there are plenty of ducks lined up
The hunt will only be successful if hunters familiarize themselves intensively with the "duck territory" beforehand
they must know which resting or grazing places the waterfowl prefer
and also where they find natural cover in the form of tall reeds or similar
A useful hint: ducks always approach a body of water
downwind until they finally turn and then land upwind
Regular chirping at the water's edge prior to the hunt should increase the chances of hunting
local hunting and nature conservation rules must be observed
The fact that for water hunting useful retrieving dogs are of course also carried along needs no further explanation
at least enough time remains until the next duck season
which the waterfowl hunter should also use intensively to familiarize himself with lead-free ammo
when switching from lead to steel or another lead-free alternative
a control shot should always be fired to check the pattern
Our tip for shooting with steel shot: use a wider choke (e.g
Rottweil also offers a new series of lead-free
they are suitable for almost all common hunting distances and game species - whether duck or wild goose – and are also environmentally friendly since they are 100% lead-free
The BI-Load is loaded with two different shot types: in the front of the shot there are heavy
red shot made of bismuth (3.8 mm) for more energy and penetration
and in the rear there is lighter steel shot (3.5 mm) for better shot patterns and a higher hit ratio
Bismuth can be found in the periodic table of chemical elements under the abbreviation "Bi" and was the inspiration for the naming of the BI-Load
but is heavier than the soft iron normally used in so-called steel shot
loaded with two different layers of steel shot in 3.8 and 3.3 millimeters
offers 10% more payload than conventional soft iron shotgun shells and is thus currently the heaviest steel shotgun shell in its caliber
The aim is for the heavier part to provide a high shock effect
while the large number of soft iron shotshells is intended to provide a wide pattern
The designation "FE" here is derived from the chemical abbreviation "Fe" for ferrum
Both the BI-Load and the FE-Load are available in 12/76 HP Magnum with 40 gram payload each and 12/70 HP with 36 gram payload each
shot cup wad and closing disc transparent to make the technology of the new cartridges visible
The red shot at the front is also intended to help the shooter see the pattern more easily

New for 2020: the 20 gauge for shotguns is becoming increasingly popular
Both sports shooters and hunters increasingly prefer shotguns with low recoil
Rottweil is responding to demand and is adding two new shot shells in 20/70 to its Competition Line range: the Special Trap 24 version with lead shot and the Steel Trap 24 HV with soft iron shot
The ammunition was developed in cooperation with the German Shooting Federation
20 gauge is becoming increasingly popular with current shotguns
it's also becoming more and more popular in shotguns
This makes it possible to build over/under shotguns with a lower total weight
which is of particular interest to young people or women
In order to be well equipped for sporting performance or hunting training
Rottweil offers two new loads in 20/70 (that is
the Special Trap was designed for this type of clay pigeon shooting
It provides 24 grams of lead shot in the usual 7½ size for this discipline
this load is also available as Steel Trap 24 HV
but shot size is 2.5 mm due to the lower density
Velocity should be 375 m/s at a distance of 2.5 m from the muzzle
Both cartridges are to be found in the typical yellow color prescribed by the Commission Internationale Permanente (CIP)
The new shot cartridges will be available from June 2020 and we are looking forward to the first test shots

New for 2020: Rottweil now has two brand new loads for hunting shotguns in its range
and in some places legal requirements the shot cartridges do not contain lead but use alternative materials
What's behind the BI- and FE-Load from Rottweil
The FE-Load is probably the abbreviation for the word Ferrum
but what makes the FE-Load interesting is the mix of 2 different shot sizes
The 12/70 combines 14 g of 3.8-mm diameter (#2) soft iron shot and 22 g of 3.3-mm (#4) soft iron shot
The manufacturer thus wishes to combine the higher energy of the larger shot with the broader coverage of the smaller shot pellets
The 12/76 gauge can top this attractive pattern by 4 g
Here the ratio is 16 g of 3.8-mm (#2) soft iron shot and 24 g of 3.3-mm (#4) soft iron shot
both cartridges are setting new standards in terms of steel shot loads performance
Also brand-new and available from June 2020
the BI-Load shotshells are also available in 12/70 and 12/76 gauges
the name BI means that they are loaded with two different shot sizes and also two different materials
8 g of red colored bismuth 3.8 mm (#2) shot and 28 g of 3.5 mm (#3) tinned soft iron shot are loaded one after the other
The heavy bismuth is intended to ensure a higher transfer of energy to the game
while the larger quantity of tinned soft iron shot is intended to ensure better cover
This way you can have an affordable cartridge
since bismuth only shot would drive the price very high
The 12/76 Magnum uses 8 g of bismuth with the same shot size
but here 32 g of tinned soft iron provide better coverage
Two consistently interesting loads from Rottweil
whose practical effectiveness is certainly something to be excited about

Two Liebherr tower cranes working on the construction of the elevator test tower in Rottweil
A Liebherr tower crane was erected on top of Baden-Württemberg's tallest building – the elevator test tower in Rottweil
Germany – with the aid of another Liebherr tower crane
will now be supported by an 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic flat top crane erected on the top of the building
The two cranes are working on the interior fittings
the facade and on the surrounding construction work for the test tower in Rottweil
the 280 EC-H 12 was able to position the crane components for the 85 EC-B 5 with precision even at an altitude of 225 m
The 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic was bolted to a steel structure specially manufactured for this purpose
Liebherr Tower Crane Solutions project manager
“This steel structure had to be permanently connected to the building
assembled with millimetre precision and must not bend even when loaded
to ensure the stability of the crane at this altitude when it is both operating and shut down
“The base tower section is directly secured to the steel structure
That means economical installation using standard Liebherr tower sections.”
The 85 EC-B 5 was erected with a special short jib with a radius of just 12.5 m so that the two cranes can work together in a small space without hindering each other
the 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic can reach the required 260 m hoist height and can hoist 4.2 tonnes
The crane has an additional resistor cabinet to provide high-speed
The 280 EC-H 12 Litronic was fitted with a 110 kilowatt high-performance hoist gear to enable it to handle loads at high speed and great altitude
In combination with the second tower crane
the Nagel Group of Companies and Züblin worked closely on planning the job
Together they prepared the perfect plan for the site and ensured the high-speed erection of the crane
The new production and distribution site in Rottweil
began the manufacture and sale of Laser MicroJet cutting systems in MayThe Swiss company Synova
manufacturer of patented water jet guided laser cutting systems
has expanded its global branch network and founded a new subsidiary in the former Mikron Germany plant in Rottweil (BW)
The factory is now producing CNC-controlled Laser MicroJet machines for the high-precision machining of materials such as metals
A micro-machining center (MMC) including a showroom for job shop production and sales activities will be added in September
The new MMC will offer laser processing services such as cutting jobs
application tests and machine demonstrations
Two Laser MicroJet (LMJ) systems will be available for this purpose: the LCS 303 laser cutting system for 2D machining of workpieces up to 300 x 300 mm in size and
the 5-axis laser machining center LCS 305 for 3D machining
"The Rottweil site allows us to move closer to customers in the German market
Austria and the Benelux countries and to introduce them to the unique advantages of our water jet laser technology and its numerous application possibilities," says Dr
we are in the process of expanding our customer service on site to be able to best serve customers as quickly as possible," adds Richerzhagen
All Synova machines are based on the LMJ laser technology invented and patented by Synova that not only cools workpieces
but also efficiently washes away the removed material
The water jet maintains the laser’s focus creating a cylindrical laser beam that results in perfectly parallel walls and tight kerf widths
The LMJ process allows unprecedented quality and precision.
Synova S.A., headquartered in Duillier, Switzerland, manufactures advanced laser cutting systems that incorporate its proprietary water jet guided laser technology (Laser MicroJetÒ) in a true industrial CNC platform. Customers benefit from significant yield and improved cutting quality as well as enhanced capabilities for precision machining a wide range of materials. Two tower cranes are working in very tight quarters 225 meters above the German town of Rottwiel
A Liebherr tower crane was erected on Baden-Württemberg’s tallest building
The 280 EC-H 12 Litronic with a hook height of 265 metres will now be supported by an 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic
The two Liebherr tower cranes are currently working on the interior fittings
The 280 EC-H 12 Litronic was operating during the carcass phase and climbed to a final hook height of 265 metres as the elevator test tower grew into the air
An 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic Flat-Top crane has now been erected on the top of the building for the interior fittings work
the 280 EC-H 12 was able to position the crane components for the 85 EC-B 5 with maximum precision even at an altitude of 225 metres
“This steel structure had to be permanently connected to the building
assembled with millimetre precision and must not bend even when loaded to ensure the stability of the crane at this altitude when it is both operating and shut down”
says Project Manager from Liebherr Tower Crane Solutions
The base tower section is directly secured to the steel structure using and economical but efficient installation of standard Liebherr tower sections
The 85 EC-B 5 was erected with a special short jib with a radius of just 12.5 metres so that the two cranes can work together easily in a small space without hindering each other
the 85 EC-B 5 FR.tronic is capable of reaching the required 260-metre hoist height even with the high performance standard hoist gear
With its short jib the 85 EC-B 5 can hoist 4.2 tonnes despite the enormous hoist height
the crane has been fitted with an additional resistor cabinet to provide high-speed
The 280 EC-H 12 Litronic was fitted with a 110 kW high performance hoist gear to enable it to handle loads at high speed at great altitude
this saves a good amount of time for the general contractor
the Nagel Group of Companies and Züblin AG worked closely together on planning the job
Together they were able to prepare the perfect plan for the site and ensure the high-speed erection of the crane
Thyssen-Krupp has invested around 40 million euros in the construction of the tower
The tower has a total of twelve shafts for testing elevators – including the first cable-less elevator in the world
This will significantly increase personnel transport capacity
The elevator tower will also have a visitor platform open to the public
Construction technology is advancing both on and off the job site
