mistakenly took the 8-year-old girl to East Brunswick High School instead of Edison High School for a dance recital on June 8
A security guard at the high school called police at the time because the woman was acting strangely
According to court documents obtained by MyCentralJersey
when East Brunswick Police Officer Justin Schlusselfeld arrived at the high school
he saw the woman stumbling in the parking lot
appeared "dazed and confused" and "really didn't know what was going on" and had slurred speech
She also bumped into the cars in front while in the car line
A search of her purse found tinfoil of suspected cocaine
She admitted to using cocaine the night before
which someone gave her because she had pain from a toothache
An interview with the woman reportedly went on for several hours at East Brunswick police HQ because she was so intoxicated
She was arrested and this week lost her appeal to a judge's ruling that she was was an abusive parent
