2025 iDEGEN community protest sees $1M buys in under 24 hours Press Release COINTELEGRAPH IN YOUR SOCIAL FEED
iDEGEN
the AI agent trained exclusively on the degen content of Crypto Twitter
was banned from posting on X for “violent speech” as 2025 rolled in—and even after further complications
it turns out there’s no such thing as negative publicity
As restrictions were lifted on Thursday 9th January
iDEGEN has made a strong return on X but was promptly subjected to another ban
after the success of the #freeiDEGEN campaign earlier this week
buying over $1 million of IDGN in just one day
pushing the total presale raise to $15.3 million
The AI’s V2 release had already led to significant inflows, producing peak gains of 75,000% for early IDGN buyers
iDEGEN has real momentum ahead of any public listings
iDEGEN is looking like a classic example of the Streisand Effect
where censorship unintentionally amplifies attention to an issue—attempts to silence iDEGEN have only made it grow
“Violent speech” was cited as the reason for both bans, which came as a surprise to many on a platform that promotes itself as the last bastion of free speech in the West. With X facing criticism from the EU for a lack of content moderation
iDEGEN must truly be pushing the envelope to face restrictions
Although the agent’s extreme outputs seem to resonate strongly with the market
they are proving to be a recurrent challenge for iDEGEN’s tenure on X
The AI is programmed to learn from the more unconventional members of Crypto Twitter
and while that fosters strong community support
it also inevitably means stepping into the firing line of controversy
The people who raised this AI quickly called for iDEGEN’s release from its restrictions on X
with #freeiDEGEN trending in the US this week
over $1 million in token purchases poured into the IDGN presale—a powerful show of support
The question still at large is whether iDEGEN’s unfiltered nature is an existential threat
The bans are the first real hurdle for the project
repeated violations could lead to a permanent issue arising
The onus now is on the community—the source of the AI’s character—to socialize it better
They’ll need to if iDEGEN is to succeed in the long run
With over 1.44 million impressions on X alone, iDEGEN has already made quite a social splash with posts like the one below—but its new V2 AI is taking things even further
iDEGEN is now autonomously interacting with trending accounts
supercharging its potential and attracting greater attention than ever before But more importantly
it’s now making its mark on Telegram—the 1-billion-strong messaging app is a new platform for the agent
with degens able to chat to the AI in real-time
introducing an entirely new layer of unpredictability
with a generative engine currently in the works
iDEGEN will have access to the most viral content medium of all and could be unleashed on the likes of TikTok
and YouTube—an AI agent taking over the meta appears to be a perfect match for viral success
This cross-platform foray into new media not only unlocks iDEGEN’s potential to go even more viral
but it shows that the dev team is locked in and committed to pushing this project to the absolute limits of AI memecoin mania
the crypto market has been delivering strong growth
entering a new year full of macro confluence for an exceptionally thrilling bull run
iDEGEN pushes the boundaries farther than any of these tokens and has what it takes to stand out in this booming marketplace
With even X’s strongest efforts unable to curb the growing momentum—even a second ban couldn’t stop $1 million in presale inflows—iDEGEN is on a remarkable trajectory ahead of its exchange debut
Whatever challenges or successes this project encounters as it prepares to list—it seems unlikely to lose momentum
Check out the iDEGEN website for more information.

Yemeni forces backed by the United Arab Emirates have taken the airport in the southern city of Aden, reports have said, further fuelling tension between exiled President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi and Mohammed bin Zayed, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the Emirati armed forces.
The officials told the Associated Press news agency that one soldier died in clashes over the airport on Wednesday morning.
Witnesses, who did not specifically mention UAE-backed forces or Hadi, told Reuters that fighters loyal to rival factions in Aden, the seat of Yemen's internationally recognised government, traded gun and rocket fire for nearly three hours at the city's airport on Tuesday night.
The UAE contributed forces to the Saudi-led coalition that secured Hadi’s return to the country following his exile in 2014 when Shia rebels seized the capital, Sanaa.
However, tensions grew between Hadi and the UAE over control of the strategic Aden airport.
In a Middle East Eye report in early May, Hadi accused Zayed of behaving like an occupier, particularly in regards to the Aden airport.
When the UAE controlled the airport in February, Hadi was not allowed to land, who instead had to ground his plane on the island of Socotra.
He successfully landed in Aden on a second attempt, but the exiled Yemeni president sacked the person of charge of the airport, who had disobeyed Hadi’s orders.
Hadi then had one of his generals and presidential bodyguard, Brigadier General Muhran Qabati, to lay siege to the airport.
The Saudis intervened and brought calm between the two sides, but after a few weeks, the UAE did not allow Qabati to land his plane.
In response, Hadi fired Aden's governor Aidarus al-Zubaidi, and Hani Ali bin Braik, a minister of state and general commander of the forces of the security belt, run by the UAE
The feud between the two men threatens to split the alliance of forces that are fighting the Iranian-backed Houthis.
Militias and shadowy armed groups have proliferated in Aden, though internal clashes has been rare as fighters have mostly focused on securing the city from attacks by the local branch of Islamic State (IS) group.
The airport hosts infrequent flights from the national carrier Yemenia since it was refurbished and reopened in July last year after suffering war damage.
The Yemeni government, led by the Hadi and backed by a mostly Gulf Arab coalition, has been locked in a civil war with the Houthis that has killed more than 10,000 people and plunged the country into a humanitarian crisis. The Houthis hold the capital Sanaa.

the filter manufacturer Vomat from Treuen will be presenting options for customized concepts for the filtration of cooling lubricants and their temperature control
(Source: Conform Services/ Vomat) Maximum precision grinding in industrial metalworking requires state-of-the-art grinding
Metalworkers such as tool manufacturers must always be technically up to date and all process parameters must be perfectly coordinated
The ultra-fine filtration of cooling lubricants is a decisive factor in the overall machining system
clean coolants significantly improve the quality of the ground workpieces
fine filtration extends the service life of the grinding oils
which contributes to considerable savings in production costs
filter manufacturer Vomat from Treuen will be showcasing options for customized concepts for the filtration of cooling lubricants and their temperature control in Hall 3
Technical Sales Manager at Vomat: “In modern metalworking
high-performance coolant filtration is much more than just filtering an auxiliary material
Particularly when using innovative grinding oils
it is essential to meet the highest demands for ultra-fine filtration
Choosing the right filter system - whether for carbides (HM)
high-speed steels (HSS) or a combination - is a key factor for the quality and efficiency of the entire production process
The full potential of modern cooling lubricants can only be exploited through the use of modern ultra-fine filtration technologies
Vomat filters are ideally placed to filter even the latest generations of cooling lubricants reliably and cost-effectively
Thanks to special high-performance precoat filters
full-flow filtration ensures 100 percent separation of dirty and clean oil
the system permanently provides the grinding system with clean oil in NAS 7 quality (3-5 µm)
Another advantage is the energy efficiency of Vomat technology: Vomat systems filter and flush as required
This means that the backwash cycles are controlled depending on the degree of contamination of the filter elements
The Vomat MDS system for the fully automatic dosing
mixing and maintenance of water-miscible cooling lubricants will also be in the spotlight at the trade fair
MDS ensures the correct dosing and mixing of water and concentrate fully automatically before and during use
detects contaminants during the process and extracts them
A special distribution unit also allows several grinding machines to be connected
resource-saving coolant ultrafine filtration technology
the Vomat LBG air conditioning system for entire production halls will also be an important topic at Vomat’s Intec trade fair stand
Steffen Strobel: “Air conditioning technology is a special topic in connection with cooling lubricoolant cooling
our engineers have developed a new air conditioning unit that converts excess energy from production and peripheral machines
and can then heat or cool the production hall via the air conditioning ducts with an accuracy of +/- 1 °C.”

BARCELONA — Catalonia’s pro-independence leaders stepped up their defiance of Madrid on Tuesday by releasing a draft of the law that will govern the referendum on independence from Spain that they plan to hold on October 1 — a vote the Spanish government is determined to prevent
Pro-independence forces behind Catalan President Carles Puigdemont made public a draft version of the “self-determination referendum law,” which mandates that if the “Yes” camp carries the day
the Catalan regional parliament will declare independence from Spain within 48 hours of the vote
the text doesn’t set a minimum threshold for turnout for the referendum to be binding
although the central government maintains it is illegal under any circumstances
between 36 percent and 42 percent of Catalan people — depending on whose figures you use — turned out for an informal vote on independence
Eighty percent of participants voted for secession
“The people of Catalonia are a sovereign subject and as such exercise the right to decide their political status freely and democratically,” reads the text — in direct contradiction of the Spanish constitution and the view of the Constitutional Court
both of which only recognize the sovereignty of the whole of the Spanish people
“This was the announcement of a coup d’état,” Xavier García Albiol, leader of Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s Popular Party in Catalonia
Other opposition groups in the Catalan assembly
where secessionist forces have an absolute majority of seats
Rajoy’s cabinet has vowed to prevent the October 1 ballot by all legal means at its disposal
and a majority of Spanish political parties also oppose the vote
A final version of the referendum law is expected to be passed by the Catalan regional parliament later in the summer
which is likely to prompt a legal response from Madrid
who was expected to comment on the draft law at a political event in Barcelona later on Tuesday
signaled his determination to push ahead with the referendum by purging a regional cabinet minister who dared to express doubts about the feasibility of the ballot
The removal of enterprise councilor Jordi Baiget for speaking his mind angered many members of Puigdemont’s center-right Catalan European Democratic Party (to which Baiget also belongs) and bared a rift in the pro-independence coalition
which also includes the Catalan Republican Left and the anti-establishment Popular Unity Candidacy (CUP) — which was in favor of making an example of Baiget
In an interview with El Punt Avui
Baiget said: “We probably won’t be able to carry out the referendum.” Any attempt at legislation by the Catalan parliament to push ahead with the ballot “will be suspended in the first minute,” he said
adding that it could all end up in a similar situation to 2014’s non-binding vote
Baiget also said he was willing to risk prison for the sake of independence
The councilor has put into words some of the many obstacles secessionist forces face in their bid to stage the independence vote and
to declare unilateral secession from Spain
signed by the Spanish State Secretary for Territorial Administration Roberto Bermúdez de Castro
warns them that the Catalan government wants
to delegate responsibility for organizing the vote to local administrations
It reminds all public servants of their “obligation to respect the constitutional legality.”
“If the independentistas [pro-independence people] want to fall over the cliff
but let them not drag with them public servants
business people and all of the Catalan people,” Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría told reporters
as Sánchez’s gamble leaves country still divided
but Spain’s political deadlock set to continue
Pedro Sánchez’s options for staying in power don’t look any easier
but no rival looks strong enough to take him down
Court decision means Pedro Sánchez will have to navigate a minefield during the election campaign

"Do you get great white sharks here in Sydney?" Kasabian's Tom Meighan asks
''Do you want to cage it?" guitarist Sergio Pizzorno asks in disbelief

"I dunno about a cage … I just want to get in a boat and do the chum [bait] shit and see two or three come round," the singer replies
They're a great prehistoric creature that's roamed the Earth and they're still here
creating babies and [being] killing machines."
Kasabian's key players are talking animatedly around a table at Newtown's Vanguard club
just an hour after Metro's photo shoot at a nearby barber shop
The English rockers (bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews are back at the hotel) are here on a blitzkrieg promo tour to play a one-off concert for MasterCard in Melbourne
hunt down Australia's most fearsome sharks
Chatting with these self-proclaimed ''outlaws'' of British rock
it's clear they share an unshakeable camaraderie built on a long history (they met in high school more than a decade ago) and a chemistry that extends far beyond sharks and songwriting
Meighan provides the perfect foil to Pizzorno's more tripped-out demeanour
Kasabian have a bit of a thing for fierce creatures
They called their latest album Velociraptor
and Meighan even wears a replica raptor claw around his neck
It's a fitting metaphor for their music
albeit tempered these days with a new-found Beatles-esque pop sensibility
delivering the band's third consecutive No.1 album in Britain
''It was our proudest moment,'' Meighan says
"It was weird because the week before
I felt like … you know how women have periods
I felt like that because I was up and down with mood swings
One minute I was happy and one minute I was emotional
It sounds weird but that's how I felt
''To get three in a row is f---ing special,'' Pizzorno says
''Not many bands have done that."
Since Oasis's long-fated implosion in 2009
commentators have touted Kasabian as the next in line to bear the Brit rock crown
but the pair dismiss such calls as empty media hype and an impossibility in the modern digital age
''I really don't think it's possible for a rock band to have that kind of cultural impact now,'' Pizzorno says
but now there's thousands of online channels and blogs.''
Meighan adds: ''And albums aren't valued as they were any more
makes a band's ability to entertain live even more critical
a point they look forward to proving at this month's Big Day Out and beyond
Still doing this at 50 and 60?''' Meighan says
'Of course we're going to be.'
''And that's the thing: our live following is huge now and we've got the staying power to be doing this for f---ing ever
30 years playing rock music which is f---ing outstanding."

When Tom Odell rolls into Australia to play New Year's Eve
he'll be farewelling a year he'll never forget
It started with the 23-year-old singer-songwriter winning the BRIT Awards' coveted Critics' Choice trophy on the strength of just one EP
and its breakthrough song Another Love (12 million YouTube views and counting)
he delivered on the promise when his debut album Long Way Down - a record of emotionally charged piano tunes and heartbreaking honesty - topped the British charts

''It's been an amazing time,'' says Odell
having just arrived home from finishing his European tour in Hamburg
''Playing Glastonbury festival was amazing,'' he says
reflecting on personal highlights of the year
''We got to spend three days there
Just before I went on stage I found out my album had got to No.1 so it was quite a joyous occasion.''
There was also the phone call from some guy called Elton
''Elton John called me up and asked me to support him which was pretty crazy,'' says Odell
''He's a huge inspiration of mine and I was able to hang out with him for a week or so and he asked me to record a song for a TV show
Getting to know him has been absolutely crazy because he was one of the reasons I started songwriting in the first place.''
celebrity connections and angelic choirboy looks
Odell might seem like the latest ''overnight success'' but he's quick to point out it's been years in the making
''When you suddenly have a song played on the radio a lot
it's difficult to break that perception,'' he says
''I think people realise that's not the case when they come and see the live show
I've spent years developing the band and touring
That's where my roots are.''
Odell studied piano from the age of seven and
He didn't tell anyone as he thought it was ''uncool'' compared to friends who were into sports
he traded university plans for open-mic nights
hauling his keyboard to gigs in his hometown of Chichester
After moving to London and quickly building a reputation as a solo artist
Odell caught the eye of pop star Lily Allen
who signed him to her In The Name Of label after she attended his fourth show there
''His energy on stage reminded me of David Bowie,'' she told British music magazine NME last year
''It's not soppy and moany at all
And he's totally gorgeous as well.''
Singer-songwriters playing pianos are often painted with the same beige brush by music media
Odell has navigated a path encompassing both commercial success and critical acclaim so far
''I very much come from songwriting and playing live in bands,'' he says
''I'm not a manufactured pop star
I'm a musician and a songwriter and it's nice to be able to fit into both worlds
I don't belong on TV - I feel very uncomfortable but it's worth it for the music to be heard.''

A recurring topic of conversation with me is ..
I've been spending most of my time lately on ..
Trying to finish a novel I started some years ago
It's about someone trying to be something he's not and discovering what he is in the process
The biggest thing I've learnt from doing stand-up is ..
The best advice I've been given about show business is ..
It's always been that way except at night I talk to all these people
the touring is tiring but I'm a gypsy at heart
so I like the contrast of a changing environment
Somebody once asked me if there was such a thing
I also cover topics including speech patterns
If I could time travel and relive any moment of my life
The music I'm listening to most is ..
I know it's old but I've never seen it
except everyday people who are good to talk about on stage
If I wasn't a comedian I'd like to be ..
I'm a good ventriloquist and I make perfect tea
I go nuts and then when I find it I get disturbed by how quickly I go back to normal
Having a cup of tea and gazing out a window
Carl Barron will launch his DVD A One Ended Stick at the State Theatre on November 3

Daniel Merriweather hopes his next Australian visit will be better than his last
the ARIA Award-winning soul singer arrived home in Melbourne only to learn his close friend Amy Winehouse had died
''I found out at the airport as I was walking out,'' the 29-year-old says
''It was on the TV in the arrivals lobby
It's still overwhelming to think she's gone - I had so much admiration for her as an artist.''
Merriweather first met the talented yet troubled diva in the mid-2000s
Both of them featured on the New York DJ-turned-producer's landmark album
and shared the stage with him at the Brit Awards in 2008
Ronson produced both artists' albums (Winehouse's smash hit Back to Black hit No.1 in Britain while Merriweather's 2009 debut Love & War peaked at No.2) and with associated acts such as Adele and the Dap Kings
they ushered a new era of soul into the British charts
I remember sleeping on Amy's couch for a week when I didn't have anywhere to stay,'' Merriweather says before revealing he tragically missed out on seeing her earlier this year
she called me late and asked me to come over
I was only in town for one day and I was too tired so I didn't go
That would have been the last time I saw her
It's always sad when you look back at shit and you're like
why didn't I go and say hi real quick?' but these things happen
I remember the good times with her.''
he threw himself into his music while here
emotionally charged club shows in Melbourne and Sydney
It was at the latter that he told the crowd his song Live by Night
a precautionary tale from Love & War (''You live by night and waste the day''/ You give yourself away'')
''I wrote it at a time when she was going through a lot - it was my message to her,'' he says
''My album's full of songs about situations in my life or girls I've broken up with but none of them will ever know because there's a mystery to songwriting
you reserve the right to withhold that info from them
it was important for me to express that was the theme behind the song.''
It's been an extremely turbulent time for Merriweather
who has lost three other close friends this year
because so many people are affected in the same way,'' he reflects
''I think what's happening is this place
We have all these ways of communicating and we're being fed information and some lifestyles are a real convenient way to block all that out
It's sad a lot of friends of mine have chosen that same path.''
Admitting ''music for me is always therapy''
Merriweather's soul-searching will no doubt flow into Love & War's follow-up
He says he's ''40 songs deep'' but hopes to write 10 more before picking the best
he's reunited with Love & War cohorts Ronson and English songwriter Francis ''Eg'' White but he's also keen to tap new collaborators
such as hip-hop producer Waajeed (of Platinum Piped Pipers fame) and Brooklyn party crew Ninjasonik
and step outside the shadows cast by some critics who dubbed him just another ''Ronson project''
The album is due next year but in the meantime
he's finishing a mixtape with Atlanta producer Don Cannon (Outkast
Young Jeezy) that harks back to his hip-hop influences of early singles such as City Rules and Pot of Gold
it will coincide with his arrival here next month for the Homebake festival
''That's going to be a super-fun show,'' he says
''I'm super excited and I'm definitely gonna come with some new material
I'm gonna stick around for Christmas and do a couple of other shows out there
TICKETS homebake.com.au, 1300 762 545, ticketek.com.au, 13 28 49, $95.
TRAVEL Nearest railway station Martin Place (five minutes' walk), buses along Elizabeth St (two-block walk), taxis easily hailed.

''I wrote it at a time when she was going through a lot - it was my message to her,'' he says. ''My album's full of songs about situations in my life or girls I've broken up with but none of them will ever know because there's a mystery to songwriting.
''As the writer, you reserve the right to withhold that info from them. I think in light of the tragedy, it was important for me to express that was the theme behind the song.''
It's been an extremely turbulent time for Merriweather, who has lost three other close friends this year. ''It's just sad, because so many people are affected in the same way,'' he reflects.
''I think what's happening is this place, life, is getting so chaotic. We have all these ways of communicating and we're being fed information and some lifestyles are a real convenient way to block all that out. It's sad a lot of friends of mine have chosen that same path.''
Admitting ''music for me is always therapy'', Merriweather's soul-searching will no doubt flow into Love & War's follow-up, which is in the works. He says he's ''40 songs deep'' but hopes to write 10 more before picking the best.
Once again, he's reunited with Love & War cohorts Ronson and English songwriter Francis ''Eg'' White but he's also keen to tap new collaborators, such as hip-hop producer Waajeed (of Platinum Piped Pipers fame) and Brooklyn party crew Ninjasonik, and step outside the shadows cast by some critics who dubbed him just another ''Ronson project''.
The album is due next year but in the meantime, he's finishing a mixtape with Atlanta producer Don Cannon (Outkast, Young Jeezy) that harks back to his hip-hop influences of early singles such as City Rules and Pot of Gold. If all goes to plan, it will coincide with his arrival here next month for the Homebake festival.
''That's going to be a super-fun show,'' he says. ''I'm super excited and I'm definitely gonna come with some new material. I'm gonna stick around for Christmas and do a couple of other shows out there, so stay tuned for the dates.''
December 3, Homebake festival, The Domain, city.

The team, coaching staff and club officials say, "Thank you, fans! Your support was great!"
The sporting balance after the first four rounds could of course be better with two points, but the atmosphere was already great. Sporting director Manuel Ortlechner after the 1-1 draw against Austria Klagenfurt: "The support in the entire arena was top and very positive. The flag choreo was also impressive, showing an atmospheric togetherness of the East stand."
It's a pity that it wasn't enough for victory in the end. "I'm particularly sorry for all the stadium visitors who kept their fingers crossed for us. There was a great atmosphere in all the stands for 90 minutes, especially in these difficult times, which shows how strong the cohesion is. We appreciate that very much and know exactly how valuable our fans are to the club," added board member Gerhard Krisch.
In the run-up to the match, KAI 2000 organized a successful event for all children and young people, which the fan club itself financed from the proceeds of completed memberships. In a penalty shootout - against ex-Austria keepers Bartolomej Kuru and Matijas Schreiber - free tickets and annual subscriptions were raffled off. Krisch: "This action commands our special respect, for which we also deserve extra praise."

Despite the early hour and ominous skies, seven volunteers arrive at Diamond Bay Reserve, Vaucluse, on a Saturday to rip out weeds and plant natives.
They don't appear to have much in common except age (30-plus) and unlikely double-barrelled first names such as Mary Beth, Suellen, Mary-Ann and Lindi Luu. Waves crash on the rocks below the steep slope as a light drizzle falls. ''I love rain, it's so great for the plants,'' Mary Beth Treuen says.

''Be careful of trip hazards. Watch out where you walk, and put your foot down solidly,'' warns the site supervisor, Mary-Ann Johnson, as she shows everyone around the damp, sloping site.
Johnson used to paint sets for events companies and Opera Australia but now works for the National Trust's Bushland Management Services, which contracts bush regenerator experts out to councils.
She outlines the morning's strategy - to remove winter grass, which is seeding now, and to plant four types of tubestock. Pointing to each species in small plastic pots, she explains that coastal rosemary is good for borders, spiky hakea keeps people out of the bushcare areas, wattle grows quickly and provides shade, and baurea rubiodes is pretty, with pink flowers.
This little plant community, known as eastern suburbs banksia scrub, once covered the Sydney coastline before its residents cleared most of the land and spread invasive species by planting exotics and dumping garden waste. The interlopers and noxious weeds crept in and took over, strangling and overwhelming the original species, reconfiguring the landscape, driving away the native birds and animals.
The workers set about ripping out the winter grass, digging small holes and putting in native plants. The steep slope beside the gorge, too dangerous for volunteers, is permanently covered in morning glory, honeysuckle and other weeds.
''There is absolutely diddly-squat native any more in that gully,'' Johnson says. ''But the good news is that the site we're working on today used to be weed-infested, and it's now covered in natives that the Bushcare group planted.''
It's hard work pulling out the winter grass, putting it into bags, scrambling up the slope to get the tubestock and the Wettasoil, down to plant the bush, back up to get bamboo stakes and plastic guards.
But it doesn't seem to bother Treuen, who proclaims with horror and righteous indignation: ''I do this because I dislike weeds - they overtake! Just have a walk up these stairs up the cliff there and you'll discover the most amazing collection of lantana and morning glory strangling the banksias and all the things that were there.''
Ian Cadden sits under a wattle tree in the middle of the group, waiting for others to fill the bags so he can carry them up the hill. Legally blind, Cadden, a maths student at TAFE, came all the way from Glebe to help.
Despite the drizzle, a few joggers and dog walkers are out. ''You're doing a great job,'' one calls out. ''I must come and help sometime.''
Before this, I had no relationship with nature at all.
Lindi Luu Joy, an occupational health and safety trainer, is further down the slope planting wattles for shade, and hakea. ''I come just because I love uniforms,'' she jokes. ''I love being part of a team; this is one of the manifestations of it in my life. And it's so therapeutic, it completely consumes me.
''Before this, I had no relationship with nature at all. I didn't notice anything - animals or birds or insects.''
There is a pleasant camaraderie, good banter and afterwards the satisfaction of seeing the slope covered in plants that will thrive in a few months. After three hours, they trudge up the hill and retire to Suellen Bassetti's balcony beside the reserve for coffee and almond croissants, just as the thunderstorm hits.
There are dozens of Bushcare groups in the Sydney region - and beyond. Phone your local council or see bushcare.org.au to find a group in your area. Bushcare provides volunteers with training, tools and regular information through newsletters, talks and field days.

''Townsville was f---ing crazy,'' the 25-year-old Melbourne MC says as he pours himself a glass of white wine in his dressing room. ''Some chick threw her bra onstage with her number on it. So I threw it back out and told the crowd 'give her a call - she's up for it!'''

Matt Colwell toasting outrageous success with Bam Bam.
Other things you quickly learn hanging with 360: he can eat four burger meal deals before 2pm, he's crazy in love with his fiancee, Crystal, and he's unashamedly candid. (He'll inform us he's taken two Voltaren suppositories for shoulder pain. ''Put that in the story!'' he insists.)
If there are any haters out there this afternoon, they're drowned out by the roars of the heaving, mostly teenage crowd waiting inside. As his tour DJ Mat Cant drops a siren-heavy intro, 360 and Chamaa take the stage before launching into electro stomper Killer and, when the bassline drops, the mass of shirtless dudes and teenage girls wearing not much explodes into a writhing, sweaty mess.

''I couldn't hear myself for the last four songs,'' Colwell adds, eyes still blazing with adrenalin. ''There was one girl up on shoulders that just kept rubbing her breasts. I was like 'I'm going to jail for this!'''
''I love seeing how proud my parents are,'' he says. ''They were real hesitant at the start when I was living in their garage on Centrelink, just making music. I was like 'just believe in me and trust me, I guarantee if you let me do it I will succeed.'''

They sing every word as one and, when 360 introduces Child with ''If you have a family you love and adore, make some noise!'' and dedicates Boys Like You to ''the f---ing slut who cheated on me'', they go berserk. As forecast, bras start to rain down and, in one of the day's most comical moments, 360 and Bam Bam both hold lacy numbers aloft at the climax. ''The audience noise hit 119 decibels,'' Annison says when we meet back at the dressing room. ''That's even louder than the PA.''

There are embarrassing moments right at the start of the 3 million euro edition of "Who wants to be a millionaire?": a student despairs at the word game of a 100 euro question and a competitor has to decode all the forms of the word "penis"
Day 1 of the €3 million week of "Who wants to be a millionaire?" (WWM) had barely started when Günther Jauch (68) was already demanding a lot from his candidates
He stubbornly wanted to move Gina Bouillon from Köthen's place of residence to Saxony: "But he's in Saxony-Anhalt," the psychologist
"Is the main question: 'How could this happen?" Jauch was interested
but instead received a lot of information about parental allowance and the "challenges of this beautiful but challenging time"
He was struck by the distance between Gina's three "July boys" (aged 2
"Do you have special free time during the fall vacations?" the presenter wondered
"That's not only possible on vacation
Gina replied dryly to this indiscretion: "My husband is a teacher
He always has to work in the evenings." Gina is also so busy with family and work that "I have completely cut out social media"
This was the only explanation for the fact that she hadn't heard of "Dubai chocolate" and had to get help with this question from the much more knowledgeable audience
She also floundered when it came to television: she almost opted for "Die Nörglers" instead of "Die Zweiflers" for the TV award-winning drama
But all's well that ends well for Gina
She was delighted to win 32,000 euros and make it through to the final
She will also be accompanied there by IT manager and rock band singer Dorothea Gharibian from Hahnheim near Mainz
Part of her winnings are earmarked for new shoes: "My sister and I love the movie 'In Her Shoes'," says Dorothea
"I've wanted Jimmy Choo shoes ever since."
She was granted them - her rollercoaster ride between mainstream sport ("Jamal Musiala plays for Dortmund, right?") and politics was too nerve-wracking. What was newly elected in 2024? UN Security Council, European Parliament, Saxon State Parliament or Bonn City Council
Dorothea pondered - as well as the location of the "Kimbrian Peninsula"
They also helped Dominik Wenz from Karlsruhe
a health insurance employee and "O-Liner" in the Karlsruhe American football team "Badener Greifs"
When it came to the 125,000 euro question, the audience learned that Casanova of all people - and not Baron Münchhausen - spent his last 13 years as a librarian at Dux Castle in the Ore Mountains. Wenz held back, preferring to take 64,000 euros ("I have two children and want to go to the Super Bowl") and made it to the final
a pharmacy student from Treuen (really) in Saxony who currently lives in Wales
will also be there - for the time being with 16,000 euros
among other things by summoning up all her remaining knowledge of Latin
"It's been such a long time," she said
justifying her efforts to get her head around the word "penis" of all things
"It was 50 years ago for me," countered Jauch
He came to WWM well prepared: "On average
I can answer the million-euro question more often than the 500-euro question," Wenzelidis announced brashly beforehand
But then his nerves got the better of him with the 100 euro question - which tended to be a silly play on words
"Which abbreviation means 'no more'?" was the question
Even after the public answer had been determined with the help of the audience joker
"No one will find out the broadcast date," he said, but he was also pleased with his hard-won 4000 euros. "That's a lot of money for a student," he clarified. "About a trip to Thailand."
he would be forgiven for relaxing under palm trees - and the look on the face of his father
Metalcore
Stattdessen liefern Paradise Slaves auf WITH HELL IN HIS EYES standardisierte Rock-Hymnen

verkommt zum grössten Serienflop seit "Star Wars: Episode I - Die dunkle Bedrohung"
