Marbella FC's hopes of escaping the Primera RFEF Group 2 relegation zone received a boost on Saturday evening as they reacted quickly to a late setback to salvage a crucial point away at Fuenlabrada
Following last week’s victory over Sevilla Atlético
new coach Carlos de Lerma showed faith in his team by naming an unchanged line-up for the first time this season
creating an early chance when Dorian set up Tahiru in the third minute
but his effort was comfortably saved by Lucas
the remainder of the first half was uneventful
Cedric led the charge for the Madrid side and
A cross from substitute Abde led to Cedric's effort being fumbled by the keeper
allowing Moyano and Manu Garrido to scramble the ball over the line almost at the same time
Jorge played in José Callejón on the right
and the veteran’s pinpoint cross found Dorian
who expertly headed in to level the scores
both teams appeared wary of risking defeat

The postponed match between Fuenlabrada and Deportivo La Coruna will be played at Riazor. David Ramos/Getty ImagesThe Spanish Football Federation's Competition Committee has decided that Fuenlabrada's postponed game at Deportivo La Coruna will be played on Wednesday
The game was originally scheduled for the final day of the La Liga SmartBank season in A Coruna on July 20 but was postponed after a coronavirus outbreak was detected in Fuenlabrada's team hours before kick-off
Fuenlabrada needs at least a draw to grab the final playoff spot that is currently held by Elche
Deportivo is already relegated and will have only pride to play for
A Fuenlabrada statement said: "The Fuenlabrada need just a point at Deportivo to finish sixth in Spain's second tier and take the final promotion playoffs spot

A total of 26 Fuenlabrada players and staff were infected with the coronavirus
22 of which had to be placed in isolation in a hotel in A Coruna
The Madrid outfit claimed it had followed the protocol set by La Liga while La Liga insisted it had authorised Fuenlabrada to travel
La Liga's request to cancel Fuenlabrada's game at Deportivo due to the unprecedented situation that the team was facing and give the final promotion playoff spot to sixth-place Elche was rejected by a judge last week
The Spanish FA considered adding two more teams to have a total of 24 sides competing in next season's second division as an exceptional measure but after a four-hour meeting on Monday
its Competition Committee has ruled that the game in A Coruña can be played
Fuenlabrada players returned to training on Saturday and have reiterated their wish to play at Deportivo and have a shot at promotion
Spain's top flight finished without any problems with Real Madrid winning the title
who finished La Liga at the bottom of the standings
are now demanding for La Liga to scrap relegation
The Barcelona-based club, which had players infected with COVID-19 in March, said in a statement on Monday: "Taking into account all the conditioning factors that have occurred since the return of the competition and in light of the events that have happened in recent days in which various clubs have raised their voices due to the injustice and lack of solutions
RCD Espanyol defends the elimination of relegation this season in the competitions supervised by LaLiga."

The young keeper departs for the second division..
Real Madrid today announced that Castilla and senior third goalkeeper Diego Altube has left the club to join second division outfit Fuenlabrada on loan for the coming season
After three unique seasons as a professional at the club
it now seems time for him to fly the nest and seek out new experiences and most importantly: game time at a higher level
Fuenlabrada are a Madrid based side so Diego will not have to relocate
whilst being able to compete for a place between the sticks in a higher division than Castilla
There are a number of factors to consider when looking at this move
✅ FICHAJE / @diego_altube, primera incorporación de la temporada #BienvenidoAltube
Diego had a very different Castilla experience to most of the other players his age
The club decided against hiring seasoned professionals to be a back up option - instead creating a “shadow” third keeper role which allowed Altube to continue to feature for Castilla
he was involved in more first team games than anyone else
he only managed 14 appearances for the reserve side in three seasons
The problem the young keeper now has is the fact that he does not have much experience to build on
and a senior side fighting for vital results such as Fuenlabrada may not have the patience required to wait for him to fully blossom
Add that to the stiff competition he faces in former Castilla star Javier Belman and we may have a dilemma
The good news is that Belman has begun to flourish
and rumours are coming in linking him to a move up to the top level..
This would leave Diego leading the race for the number one jersey
this could confirm a place in the first team squad for the 2021/22 season
then Altube would surely have been kept to provide back up to Thibaut Courtois
Whether Madrid fans will see this as positive or negative is unclear
and Lunin himself has suffered from very little playing time since his arrival in Madrid
Another season as number two would not change that for yet another year
A replacement third goalkeeper will also need to be appointed either way
and the club is more than likely going to promote one of the current Castilla/youth players to be the “shadow” back up
One of Toni Fuidias or Luis López will be the favourites
but that will then of course affect their own playing time over the coming campaign
The positives of the first team experience and incredible environment exposure handed to these young shadow third goalkeepers is a huge talking point
Joining the first team at the Bernabéu and training and learning alongside the best is always going to be advantageous
if it loses you 40 odd professional senior games then that can also have a knock on effect
it was more appropriate to have a more senior
abled and experienced goalkeeper brought in full time to provide support in the dressing room and healthy competition to the other players
Names such as Jerzy Dudek and Kiko Casilla spring to mind when searching for good examples
This of course would cost a considerably larger amount of money
with bigger names requiring bigger paycheques
For that reason it seems unlikely that the club will consider this option during the summer
as they look to offload players and spend as little as possible to gather funds for future Galactico endeavours
A post shared by Diego Altube (@diego_altube)
this loan move may spell the end of the road at Real Madrid for Diego Altube
He looked more than capable during his scattered Castilla appearances over the years
and I really hope that he manages to find his feet in the second division and secure some much needed minutes
then who knows where he will end up in the future..
Who would you like to see Real Madrid bring in as a third keeper option

A draw for Barça Atlètic against Fuenlabrada (2-2) at Estadi Johan Cruyff

Barça Atlètic began the game controlling possession and the pace of the game

The blaugranes continued to dominate after the goal
but with just two minutes to go before the break
Fuenlabrada made the most of their few chances in the half as handball was given against Mikayil Faye
Dani Nieto scoring from the penalty spot (1-1)
as Pocho crossed to the far post for the onrushing Pau Víctor to put the blaugranes ahead once again (2-1)
Not a great start to the half for the visitors as six minutes in
Sotillos scored from the edge of the area past an unsighted Marc Vidal to make it 2-2
spurring on the home side to push forwards
Belman had to be quick to stifle Belcan but Marc Vidal also showed great reflexes to send a Fer Ruiz shot wide for a corner
Barça continued to dominate but were unable to restore the lead despite having a few opportunities and had to settle for the draw

Several Fuenlabrada players tested positive for coronavirus, with La Liga taking the late decision to call off the game at the Riazor. Instead, results in the matches that went ahead sealed Deportivo’s fate.

Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming match against Fuenlabrada in the return leg of the Copa del Rey
where Los Blancos will be defending a 2-0 lead they obtained on the first game
The reserves need to use this game to prove their worth as Zidane has not been giving them many chances this season
Theo or Marcos Llorente must make the best out of these chances so that they can also get relevant minutes throughout the rest of the season against quality opponents
it will be interesting to watch Kovacic and Bale's return to the pitch after being injured for the last two months
They are key players for Madrid's depth and Zidane will surely be happy about having them back with the side
The Spanish second-tier side appointed Sandoval on the eve of lockdown
He got to know his players via Zoom but is finally on the training pitch
Sat 30 May 2020 09.00 CESTLast modified on Mon 1 Jun 2020 13.00 CESTShareJosé Ramón Sandoval has been Fuenlabrada’s manager for 11 weeks but hasn’t taken charge of a single game
He has led only two full training sessions at the Segunda División club
has barely met his players and never even got presented to the media
He has suffered coronavirus and his timing could hardly have been worse
Not that you can see it under the Fuenlabrada face mask he ordered himself
“This period has been a like doing a master’s,” he says
Sandoval had just overcome a hernia operation when Fuenlabrada
since the second of two short-lived spells with Córdoba
His appointment was announced on 11 March and there was a brief session that evening
Spain’s football teams were sent home and told not to come back
His presentation was cancelled: this was not the time
A state of alarm was declared two days later
but after a day the tsunami was stopped,” says the 52-year-old
who made his way into management via amateur clubs starting in the mid-90s

and even then it was for individual sessions
La Liga hopes the Segunda División can return on 12 June but full training won’t begin until this coming week
Competition will get under way without Sandoval seeing them play a game
just four points above the relegation zone (though also just seven off the play-offs)
“I don’t think this has happened to anyone
“My first task was to win them over from home
“I asked for a video of the good moments this season
They went into lockdown having not won in 13 and I didn’t want that lingering
We’ve been working towards that idea for nine weeks
You do a Zoom call and the same guy always connects first
Some exercise with their kids clambering on their backs“We had a programme to maintain strength and avoid injuries and created a daily structure so their biorhythms didn’t change: up at nine
They had to send a photo of their scales: by 9.15 every day
then the two fitness coaches rang half each in the afternoon
I called them all individually: long chats
You don’t have that relationship managers have built with players but you get to know them.”
he might know them even better than under normal circumstances
Some managers wouldn’t need all that but I’d only just arrived
You see things: how they position the camera
Some exercise with their kids clambering on their backs
Someone’s doing press-ups and the dog licks his face
and gives you ways of reaching them which are helpful
“We wanted them to have a dose of reality too
who works in a hospital and is close to them
Show them there are people on the front line
as if two or three planes are falling out the sky
That helps motivate them: ‘We’re stuck at home
but that’s as bad as it’ll be.’ And it works in reverse too: when things improved
physically and mentally and the last two weeks have been so enriching.” There’s a laugh
Take the player who was always last to log in
connection problems.’ He’s there with the face of a man who’s just woken up
I know them: you can see some of that through a screen
He has plenty of qualifications and experience – he won promotion to the top flight with Rayo Vallecano in 2011 and kept them there the following season – but adds: “This has been a master’s

I’ve had them playing the inflatables and I’m running around bringing the ‘opposition’ to life
We’ll spend the whole of next week on full-sided games
I hear managers complaining: ‘You can’t work like this.’ But I’m the opposite
“My mother-in-law had just had a prosthetic knee fitted and then broke her hip
I took her to A&E but that same day they were closing hospitals
just this brutal pain in my head that wouldn’t go away

and you’ve got that many antibodies inside you it’s as if you’ve been given four of them
You could hand them out and still have enough.’” Sandoval starts laughing
Barça Atlètic have won 2-1 at Fuenlabrada with Unai Hernández scoring the first from an unmarked situation in the opposing box and an own goal pretty much sentencing things with a second half goal
although Manu Lama's response gave the home fans some late hope of a comeback
The wins sends the reserves back into the play-off zone with a game against struggling Logroñés to come next Sunday at the Estadi Johan Cruyff (12.00pm CET)
Both goals were the result of poor defending by the home side
the first came after a failed clearance landed straight at the feet of Hernández
who made sure he didn't waste the unexpected gift
but Barça hit again ten minutes into the second half
Gerard Martín and Jaume Cuéllar both did some fine work to build up a shot from the latter
who then watched in glee as it first struck home defender Stephen Buer and then his colleague Ali Galindo and ended up in their own net
Manu Lama's headed corner got the home side off the mark
but it was too little too late for Fuenlabrada
who never managed to threaten again and were ultimately well beaten
The return of the Copa Del Rey is taking place at the Santiago Bernabéu with Real Madrid bringing back a 2-0 lead from the away leg at Fuenlabrada
Two away goals should make things easier on Real
being able to stick with some of the younger players and give returning injured players some quality minutes
and Marcos Llorente should all get some quality minutes
Real looked pretty strange in the first leg
With younger players somewhat disappointing and Fuenlabrada looking more effective then expected
Ceballos was the standout going forward for Real and Codina proved to be effective as well
In the second leg Mayoral and Llorente will be looking to have a much bigger impact
The big question mark is if Mateo Kovacic will make his return after being out for the last couple months with a groin injury
Getting a healthy Kovacic back in the lineup will be a massive win for Zinedine Zidane and bolster the Real midfield
a solid Real Madrid performance can be expected
Learning how Fuenlabrada played in the first leg will give Zidane a boost in how he chooses to attack and defend them

Solaris has been present in Spain since 2010, and is since 2018 owned by Spanish group CAF
over 500 Solaris buses are being driven through Spanish cities
in charge of public transport in the almost 200,000-strong city of Fuenlabrada
has opted for Solaris Urbino 12 electric buses equipped with 240 kW traction motors and High Energy batteries with a total power of over 400 kWh
the Solaris e-buses will feature the driver assistance system MobilEye Shield+
With the help of cameras placed around the vehicle
the driver is alerted every time an unexpected object is detected in the vicinity (at least 80 cm) of the bus
This is particularly handy in city centres where there are a multitude of traffic participants in a confined area
The 12-metre Solaris e-buses will carry over 70 passengers
The inhabitants of Fuenlabrada will certainly appreciate the comfort and safety of everyday travel due to the buses being equipped with air-conditioning in the passenger compartment boasting modern anti-virus filters
“I am very proud that another city is opting to develop zero-emission transport by choosing Solaris vehicles
The Urbino 12 electric bus is the most popular vehicle in our electric offering
No local emissions and great operability are the chief advantages that make this model the most common choice of urban transport operators throughout Europe
I am really glad that the residents of Fuenlabrada will soon see for themselves the benefits it offers”

Dusan Ristic spent the 2019-20 season playing for Astana of Kazakhstan before playing in Italy
Former Arizona center Dusan Ristic has agreed to play for Urbas Fuenlabrada of Spain's top-level ACB next season
Ristic, who finished up a four-year Arizona career in 2018, averaged 13.0 points and 6.9 rebounds over 10 games last season for Avtodor of the VTB (Russian) League
He earlier averaged 10.9 rebounds and 6.0 rebounds for Brescia in Italy's Serie A before leaving in midseason in part because of a coaching change
Ristic signed a three-year deal with the Red Star in Belgrade, Serbia after leaving UA in 2018 but the Serbian club loaned him to Astana of the VTB in 2019-20 and Brescia bought out the final year of his contract in 2020-21
Avtodor gave him an offer to finish last season back in Russia
"I'm excited for next season and I can't wait to get to Spain and start working toward our team goals," Ristic said

If you’re the kind of fan who enjoys watching Real Madrid’s young prospects play a competitive match
Fuenlabrada Starting XI (To Be Confirmed): Freixanet
Los Blancos visit Fuenlabrada in what will be the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie
one in which coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to give his starters some rest
Madrid are clearly the better team here but Fuenlabrada will surely make things hard on Real’s youngsters by playing with motivation and competitive desire to prove their worth as players who didn’t quite make it as professional footballers
It will be very important for Madrid to score at least a few goals here if Zidane is planning on resting his starters again when Fuenlabrada visit the Bernabeu
The French coach said that Madrid want to win this competition this season but it’s clear that these first few games are always a good opportunity to rest the starters
Zinedine Zidane's key quotes ahead of Fuenlabrada clash
Zinedine Zidane's key quotes ahead of the Copa del Rey first leg last 32 clash with Fuenlabrada..
"Winning the cup isn’t something personal
for me it’s one of the trophies that we can win and that’s our intention
We want to give everything and put in a good performance tomorrow
"I’d play the same team in a one-off match as I would in a two-legged tie
I have something in my head and so do my players
I believe in what we’re doing and it doesn’t depend on what happens in games
We believe in what we do and we’ll not change anything
A lot of people have an opinion about whether it should be a one-off match or a two-legged tie
and I know that in other countries they play a one-off match
but here we play two matches and what I think about it makes no difference
He’s undergone tests and they’re positive
Today he’s started to ride a bike and now his recovery will take time
but he’s healthy and I’m happy about that
He’ll have to go through the recovery process so let's see
but I can’t give you a date for when he’ll be back"
"It's not my place to talk about the national teams
His progression in these four months is good and he’s feeling better all the time
he had an excellent match the other day and he learns quickly"
"I don’t know who the best coach in the world is
I can say that I accept The Best award and it’s the fruit of the work we’ve done so far
But I don’t think I'm the best coach in the world
I’m interested about the day to day work because everything can change quickly
I’ve got experience as a player and I know how things work
a lot of work and thinking about working day to day
like Laso will be with the basketball team
the dressing room and the environment well
I only think about the day to day work and finishing the season well
but where I’m learning the most is in all the tactical knowledge
everything that is involved in preparing a team
I remember in my last year wanting to learn to improve
I played finals in Spain and Italy and I didn’t win
"Zidane the player was better than the coach
Maybe because I spent 35 years playing and only 18 months as a coach
We’re going to play a football game and there’ll be safety measures
We’ll prepare the match like any other game without thinking about it more"
