ACN | Torroella de Montgrí directly inland from L'Estartit on the Costa Brava has already burnt over 100 hectares since Thursday evening.  Following the Cap de Creus fire that devoured some 420 hectares of mainly forest land in the natural park this is the second blaze to affect the area in less than a week.  Firefighters worked overnight and have been able to surround most of the fire's perimeter except for one area that is difficult to access by land On Thursday night 135 children were evacuated from a summer camp in the town of Torroella de Montgrí alongside 15 camp counselors Torre Gran and les Dunes remain closed to non-residents.  Firefighters expect to be able to stabilize the fire on Friday despite what crew commander Jordi Martín describes as "very complicated" conditions referring to higher temperatures and lower humidity levels coupled with southwest Garbí winds.  Get the day's biggest stories right to your phone
