Powered by Riedel’s Artist-1024 intercom system and MediorNet real-time media network
this setup integrates intercom and signal distribution across EPPGHV’s six distinct scenographies
resulting in improved operational efficiency and an elevated experience for both event organisers and attendees.
The relationship between Riedel and EPPGHV began in 2019 with the rental of Bolero Standalone kits
EPPGHV initiated a larger structural project in 2022 for a complete overhaul of its communications infrastructure
This new workflow represents a significant improvement over the previous setup
which lacked a comprehensive video distribution system and did not have sufficient intercom devices – often requiring equipment rentals
The new system not only eliminates these rental costs
it also provides a more cohesive and efficient workflow
allowing the venue to handle complex intercom and signal distribution requirements with greater ease and flexibility
and several mobile racks interconnected through the venue's optical fiber and IP network
providing unprecedented flexibility in system deployment.

Text description provided by the architects. A New Building In The Heart Of The Parc De La Villette In Paris - Teams in charge of running the Parc de la Villette and its facilities in Paris were previously housed in the Cité Jardin, made up of 9 prefabricated buildings constructed in 1982 and, in an advanced state of disrepair.
The Etablissement Public du Parc et de la Grande Halle de la Villette (EPPGHV) wished to construct a new building providing its teams with a more efficient working tool, giving back park space to the public, in this ecological urban place. The new workplace has been designed as a “base camp” for 155 workstations on a 3,000 m2 surface, while 5,000 m2 of green space has been restored to the public park.
Workspaces are flexible and enjoy panoramic views of the Park’s abundant vegetation
Designed in close collaboration with users
they are freely organized with structuring furniture created by the studio

With less than one year to go until Milano Cortina 2026
let's take a look at Italy's top moments from the Paralympic Winter Games
The Paralympic Games are the largest global sporting event for athletes with disabilities and have taken place every four years since the inaugural edition in Rome
the first Winter Games were held in Ornskoldsvik
Sweden and featured 198 athletes from 16 countries
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement
Founded on 22 September 1989 as a non-profit organisation
we aim to be athlete-centred and membership-focussed in all our endeavours
Through partnerships with more than 200 member organisations
we leverage Para sport to advance the lives of the 1.2 billion individuals with disabilities across the globe
Sport for athletes with an impairment has existed for more than 100 years
The purpose of it at that time was to assist the large number of war veterans and civilians who had been injured during wartime
the day of the Opening Ceremony of the London 1948 Olympic Games
Ludwig Guttmann organised a competition for wheelchair athletes at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Great Britain
Sixteen injured servicemen and women took part in archery at the inaugural Stoke Mandeville Games
Classification is the cornerstone of the Paralympic Movement; it determines which athletes are eligible to compete in a sport and how athletes are grouped together for competition
athletes are grouped by the degree of activity limitation resulting from the impairment
and is sure to attract fans of contemporary art and immersive experiences alike
Into The Light takes us on a journey of light
this exhibition takes us to the heart of works of light
even though the exhibition covers an area of 3,000m2
The creations are sometimes monumental and often contemplative
you need to take the time to wander around the installations
Some of them also have poufs on which you can lie down to immerse yourself in the sometimes quite hypnotic scenography
and should particularly appeal to fans of digital and abstract art
but the budget can be quite substantial for families (expect to pay around 15 euros for a child aged 4 to 11

Le Pavillon Jardins designed by France-based studio
Tschumi’s innovative design for Parc de la Villette in France envisioned a cultural space for activity and interaction through the 10 themed gardens spread across the 135 acre site
The park was designed as an expansive user-defined space which is completely open to interpretation
The architect merged the natural and artificial elements into a state of consistent exploration
the workspace amalgamates nature with architecture by restoring over 5,000 sqm of green space and designating an area of 3,000 sqm to the operating building
Conceived for the 'Establishment of the Park and the Grande Halle de la Villette'
the building acts as a base camp with 155 workstations for La Villette’s team which was earlier housed in the nine prefabricated buildings of Cité Jardin
The new project will be based on "a generic structure where both uses and the making of events shape the identity of the place," showcasing the structure’s adaptability which complements the program it hosts
The custom-designed micro-architectures further accentuate the area by functioning as meeting pods
The studio’s official release reveals their inclination towards exploring "new ways of living
and relaxing to create sites that are well-suited to their purpose." Translating a similar perspective

Paris’s biggest cinema screen is backLa Géode
a giant sphere in Paris's Parc de la Villette
has reopened with an upgraded cinema experience
La Géode has lit up the Parc de la Villette with its 36-metre shimmering sphere and giant hemispherical screen
after six years spent upgrading the cinematic experience, this architectural marvel has just reopened its doors
Adrien Fainsilber’s mirrored globe (which is 36m in diameter
and made up of 6,433 polished stainless steel triangles) looks unchanged from the outside
its hemispherical screen (which spans 1,000 m² and was once among the world’s largest) now boasts a brand-new IMAX Laser 4K projector
offering significantly better image quality than its predecessor
The sound quality has also been upgraded to IMAX 6.0
It took the Pathé team (the cinema’s new owner) six years to complete the project. While it might not rival Las Vegas in extravagance
This has earned it a spot in the premium category of Pathé’s theatres
with tickets priced at €25 for feature films and €13 for documentaries at standard rates
Pathé is running a buy one get one free deal on tickets
There are three nature documentaries currently playing (Blue Whales
Super Human Body) – which makes sense, considering the geode is part of the City of Science and Industry
Also showing is the highly-anticipated animated film Mufasa: The Lion King
a prequel to Disney’s iconic animated classic
The documentaries have multiple daytime screenings
while the feature film is shown in a single evening slot.Where
Feature films are €25 and documentaries are €13 (standard rates)
