This is a standard process for many upperclassmen who have posted multiple years of production at the collegiate level
Jevon Carter submitted paperwork for the draft to get feedback before ultimately returning to WVU to finish out his collegiate career in Morgantown
that is the expectation here for both Eaglestaff and Lorient
Once they get the feedback they are looking for from NBA scouts
they will withdraw from the draft and focus on the areas they need to improve for a chance to get selected in the summer of 2026
The withdrawal date for the 2025 NBA draft is set for June 15th at 5 p.m

he's been a huge piece off the bench for Ross Hodge at North Texas and will likely move into a starting role this season for the Mountaineers

Daniyal Robinson acknowledged the challenge he faces heading into his first season guiding the North Texas men’s basketball program when it comes to building a roster during his introductory press conference Friday
The nature of the challenge the Mean Green face continued to come into focus on Saturday
{span}Kilgore College guard Cahmai Crosby announced that he is sticking with the Mean Green to play for Robinson after committing to UNT during the tenure of former coach Ross Hodge.{/span}
Brenen Lorient, UNT’s second-leading scorer this season when he earned first-team All-American Athletic Conference honors, could soon be headed to the transfer portal. Multiple reports Saturday said that Lorient is set to enter the portal
A UNT source said that no Mean Green player is in the portal as of Saturday afternoon
Crosby averaged 15.9 points per game this season and was a first-team All-Region XIV selection
Lorient came to UNT after spending two seasons as a seldom-used backup on a loaded Florida Atlantic team and was a member of the Owls’ 2024 Final Four team
Lorient blossomed in his one season at UNT while averaging 11.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game coming off the bench
The 6-foot-9 forward was named the AAC’s Sixth Man of the Year
Losing Lorient to the portal would add to what will be a massive overhaul in Robinson’s debut campaign
where his teams reached the 20-win mark in three straight seasons
you have a lot of guys leaving,” Robinson said
we lost 70% of our scoring and 60% of our rebounding
We were able to bring in the right type of guys to continue to help build it
We’re looking forward to hitting the ground running.”
UNT had seven seniors on the roster this season who helped guide the Mean Green to the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament and a 27-9 finish
is among that group and began his career on the junior college level
The NCAA granted seniors who played in junior college an additional season of eligibility
opening up the possibility that Floyd could return
Lorient could also elect to pull his name out of the portal and remain at UNT
UNT will be looking at nearly a complete overhaul of its roster
The Mean Green would have lost their top six scorers
including first team All-American Athletic Conference selection Atin Wright
The Drake transfer guard was a senior this season when he led UNT with an average of 15.2 points per game
would be UNT’s leading returning scorer if UNT enters Robinson’s first season without Lorient and Floyd
Robinson has quickly started rebuilding while landing three members of his Cleveland State team as transfers
who was a third-team All-Horizon League selection this season
and fellow forward Reece Robinson will join guard Je’Shawn Stevenson at UNT
Stevenson was the Horizon League’s Freshman of the Year
Robinson has also picked up a commitment from high school forward Logan Alexander
Crosby and Allen forward Deandre Thomas both committed to UNT during the tenure of Hodge
who left after the season to take over the program at West Virginia
Thomas said he is also pondering his future that could include following Hodge to West Virginia
a source with knowledge of his thinking said

Former North Texas forward Brenen Lorient has committed to West Virginia, via the NCAA Transfer Portal. Lorient transferred to North Texas last offseason after spending his first two collegiate seasons at Florida Atlantic
4.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 24.9 minutes per game
He shot 56.9% from the field and 47.8% from beyond the arc
it’s worth noting he only 23 3-pointers throughout the season
Lorient had his best performance of the season in North Texas’ 76-67 win over Temple on Jan
Lorient erupted for a season-high 20 points and 13 rebounds on 8-14 shooting from the floor
He never started for the Owls and only averaged 8.8 minutes per game during his sophomore season
Lorient played high school basketball at Calvary Christian Academy (FL), where he was a three-star recruit. He was the No. 243 overall recruit and No. 51 power forward in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the second player West Virginia has added in the transfer portal this offseason. Former UNC Wilmington center Harlan Obioha committed to the Mountaineers via the NCAA Transfer Portal on April 6.

It’s no surprise that Lorient is heading to Morgantown. On March 26, WVU hired Ross Hodge to be the men’s basketball program’s next head coach
Hodge was the North Texas head coach for the past two seasons
Hodge led the program to a 46-24 overall record
a 24-12 mark in conference play and two appearances in the NIT
Hodge will look to lead West Virginia to even greater heights
and he’ll have Lorient by his side for the journey
Hodge has his work cut out for him. Since head coach Darian Devries left the program
five West Virginia players have entered the transfer portal this offseason
Hodge will have to quickly piece together a roster that can be competitive next season in the Big 12

Loïc Ferry, the president of FC Lorient, has confirmed in an interview with Ouest France that Olivier Pantaloni will continue in his role as head coach after leading Les Merlus back to Ligue 1 at the first time of asking
After being relegated last season from the top flight
Lorient assured their stay in Ligue 2 was short with a 4-0 victory over SM Caen on the 26th of April
Pantaloni has a well-earned reputation for masterminding promotions
having led AC Ajaccio to Ligue 1 on two occasions
Despite the overall goal for the season being completed
and Lorient have their sights set on winning the league
Paris FC sit in second place (and could win promotion tonight against strugglers FC Martigues)
three points behind Lorient with only two matches left to play
the hunt for a league title will be somewhat personal
as he has missed out on the trophy twice with his Ajaccio sides finishing as runners-up in their promotion campaigns

the West Virginia Mountaineers picked up another commitment out of the transfer portal
landing former North Texas forward Brenen Lorient
Lorient began his career at Florida Atlantic where he appeared in 52 games across two seasons for Dusty May's Owls
he saw limited playing time off of the bench and didn't really play much of a factor offensively
Lorient was one of the keys to the Mean Green's success
He finished the season second on the team in scoring (11.7 ppg) and rebounding (4.9 rpg) despite coming off of the bench in all 36 games
215-pounder didn't shoot the ball from range very often
Lorient also shot 57% from the floor and 72% from the free-throw line
he was disruptive on a nightly basis averaging 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals per game
Lorient was named the American Athletic Conference's Sixth Man of the Year and was an All-AAC selection
He will have one year of eligibility remaining

Eli Junior Kroupi (18) has been a key figure in helping FC Lorient return to Ligue 1 at the first time of asking and his formative club now want to retain him for another year
despite the forward being bought by Bournemouth earlier this season
Les Merlus were relegated from Ligue 1 last season
they have made a swift return to the top-flight
Their promotion from Ligue 2 has already been confirmed and Kroupi is a big reason why
The France youth international has netted 20 goals in 28 games in Ligue 2 this season
A key part of Olivier Pantaloni’s side, Lorient’s president, Loïc Féry, has told L’Équipe that he wishes to retain Kroupi for a further season
“There is a big interest in talking with Junior about the possibility of doing another season
if he wishes and if the club that bought him is also open to a loan,” said Féry
who share the same owner as Les Merlus in the form of Bill Foley
he was sent straight back on loan to the Breton club by the Premier League side
That loan expires at the end of the campaign but there is clearly a desire for Lorient to extend that further

North Texas transfer forward Brenen Lorient officially signed with the Mountaineers
The senior wing briefly tested the NBA Draft waters but was set to follow Hodge to Morgantown all along
He entered the transfer portal with a "do not contact" tag
meaning he already knew where he was headed
It'll be interesting to see how Lorient is deployed at WVU
considering he's been a benchpiece his entire career
Lorient finished second on the Mean Green in both scoring (11.7 ppg) and rebounding (4.9)
Hodge could move Lorient into a starting role
but some guys just perform better coming off of the bench
They get to see how the opposing team is playing
and adjust their game before stepping onto the floor
Jaysean Paige is the perfect example of this
He was just as important to WVU's offense as anyone on the roster
he just didn't have the same type of efficiency
Lorient was rightfully named the American Athletic Conference's Sixth Man of the Year this past season and was an All-AAC selection

FC Lorient have bounced back at the first time of asking and have tonight sealed promotion back to Ligue 1 McDonald's. Les Merlus will celebrate their 100-year anniversary as a club among the elite after a 4-0 win over already relegated SM Caen
Mohamed Bamba opened the scoring for the hosts
before Eli Junior Kroupi scored his 20th goal of the season
with Sambou Soumano scoring a late brace. The Breton side's promotion was confirmed following FC Metz's loss to Pau (2-1) which finished during Lorient's added-time
sparking celebrations on the touchline even before the final whistle had been blown

Lorient landed at UNT and will face his former team in a game that will feature one of the best teams in the American Athletic Conference
which is 14-4 on the season and tied atop the AAC standings with Memphis and UAB at 5-1 in league play
3-3) is still trying to find its footing under new coach John Jakus
Lorient has thought a lot about the situation and the lessons he has learned from watching others go through similar scenarios over the years
“In those games when you make it all about yourself instead of your team
“I’m going to focus on the team and whatever it needs.”
That approach has already paid dividends for Lorient and UNT
The Mean Green have won eight of their last nine games while moving to the top of the AAC
UNT’s lone loss in that span came against nationally ranked Memphis
Lorient has played a key role in that run and is coming off one of the best games of his career in UNT’s 76-67 win over Temple on Wednesday
He set career highs in rebounds (13) and blocks (5) in addition to tying his career high with 20 points
What was equally important was the way Lorient helped UNT break out of an offensive funk after a slow start
“Brenen settled us down,” UNT coach Ross Hodge said
“He’s a guy you can play through in a lot of different areas on the floor
He can play with his back to the basket or with the ball in the middle of the floor
He’s a good passer with a great basketball IQ.”
Those talents are what made Lorient an elite recruit coming out Calvary Christian in Fort Lauderdale
He landed at FAU but ended up buried in the rotation on a loaded team
Lorient decided to see what his opportunities were on the open market
‘Stay,’” Lorient said earlier in the season
The decision to transfer to UNT has looked better and better for Lorient and the Mean Green as the season has progressed
Senior forward Moulaye Sissoko could see the impact Lorient would make early in the season
is a good player and has room for growth,” Sissoko said
That was apparent during UNT’s win over Temple when Lorient made what Hodge called one of the best defensive plays he has seen from a Mean Green player
Hodge is in his second season as UNT’s coach after serving as an assistant for six years
chased down the ball as it skittered toward the sideline
and threw it off Mashburn and out of bounds
Lorient showed those skills in flashes at FAU
where he averaged 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds last season
He scored 16 points on the year as a member of the Owls’ Final Four team as a freshman
He ranks second among UNT players with an average of 12.6 points per game
a total that is all the more impressive considering the Mean Green are a defensively oriented team that averages 69.7 points per game
UNT is tied with Wagner for fourth nationally in scoring defense with an average of 59.1 points allowed per outing
That approach is far different from what Lorient was used to during his time at FAU before transferring to UNT
as just about every team in college basketball does
The transition has been a smooth one for Lorient
who credits his growth in part to the experience he gained in two years with the Owls
A lot of the coaches and players he knew at FAU have since moved on
but he hasn’t forgotten what a stint at the school did to advance his career heading into a game against his former team
“The biggest thing I took away from FAU was just how to play basketball,” Lorient said earlier this season

North Texas forward Brenen Lorient goes up for a dunk during UNT's win over Florida Atlantic
North Texas forward Brenen Lorient made his return to Florida Atlantic one to remember on Thursday
Lorient hit every shot he put up and led UNT to a 71-61 win over the Owls
the team he spent two years playing for to begin his college career
The 6-foot-9 forward scored 16 points after hitting all six of his shots from the field
and also connected on both of his free throws
grabbed eight rebounds and handed out five assists
“It’s hard to play much better than he did tonight,” UNT coach Ross Hodge said
UNT (21-6) was down one early before Lorient hit a 3 to put the Mean Green up 16-14
The Mean Green were off and running from there
had three players finish in double figures and played well defensively
The Mean Green held FAU without a field goal for more than 10 minutes in the second half
UNT went into the night tied with UAB for second place in the AAC standings behind Memphis
The win bolstered the Mean Green’s position in the conference and clinched a double bye in the league tournament
Now what: UNT will return to the Super Pit for a Monday game against Wichita State
Say what: “I’m really proud of the maturity of the group
We took a couple of days off and enjoyed the weather and each other’s company
When it came down to business time we had to do it.”
UNT coach on the way the Mean Green handled a two-game road trip to Florida that began with a win at South Florida
Star of the game: Lorient came up with one of his best all-around performances of the season against FAU
Our take: Coaches often say that they want to have their teams playing their best at the right time of the season
Hodge has UNT peaking at just the right time
The Mean Green have ripped off five straight wins
a run that includes impressive wins over Tulane and South Florida
“The goal is still a regular-season conference championship,” Hodge said
“Memphis has a tough game at UAB on Sunday

impressed his former coach with how much he grew at North Texas under Rodd Hodge last season
Lorient, who committed to WVU Tuesday, is following Hodge from UNT to West Virginia after a breakout junior season with the Mean Green
Lorient spent two seasons at Florida Atlantic under now-Michigan head coach Dusty May
one of the people WVU athletic director Wren Baker called to consult when deciding to hire Hodge
Brenen Lorient Following Ross Hodge from UNT to WVU
“He talked about competing against Ross Hodge and what a great coach he was and how tough his teams were,” Baker said of his conversation with May
“How he always thought they maximized their ability.”
One of those players Hodge got the most out of was Lorient
who was named first-team All-AAC and the AAC Sixth Man of the Year after last season
May told Baker he was impressed by how much Lorient improved
“He said ‘I watched that player’s growth this year and from afar I admired it
(Hodge) got more out of him than I could,’” Baker relayed
May also offered an endorsement of Hodge when WVU announced his hiring on March 26
“West Virginia is hiring one of the best young coaches in the country
emotional intelligence and humility to be successful at any level of basketball
and I can’t imagine that changing in Morgantown
I couldn’t be more excited for Ross and his family.”
Lorient averaged 0.8 and 2.2 points per game in two seasons at FAU
Brenen Lorient was the second player to join Hodge’s first transfer class at WVU

Bob Huggins Mentioned as Candidate for Coaching Opening
Brenan Lorient is expected to play a key role for North Texas this season after transferring from Florida Atlantic
Lorient was a member of FAU’s Final Four team in 2023
Brenen Lorient got a good look at North Texas while playing a supporting role in one of the memorable recent runs by a team outside the pantheon of college basketball powers
The junior began his career at Florida Atlantic and was a member of the Owls’ Final Four team in 2023
as well as their NCAA Tournament team last year
Lorient remembered what he saw in those games when he hit the transfer market a few months ago
they got after it and played good defense,” Lorient said
What Lorient saw is a big reason he’ll suit up for the Mean Green this season
The 6-foot-9 forward transferred to UNT in the offseason and will be a key part of the Mean Green’s plans to build on their run to the National Invitation Tournament last year
The Mean Green are set to open the second season of coach Ross Hodge’s tenure Tuesday when they host Evansville at the Super Pit
UNT lost several of its key players to the transfer market and graduation after last season
The Mean Green’s hopes to build on a 19-win season rest on just how well Hodge and his staff did in rebuilding UNT’s roster
Former Drake guard Atin Wright is the headline addition in the Mean Green’s transfer class
but Lorient has a chance to be another impact player
“He’s as talented of a player as we have had here,” Hodge said
high-level athlete with a good IQ and feel
He can defend every position and is just scratching the surface of how good he can be.”
Lorient will have a chance to show what he has to offer after being overshadowed while averaging 2.2 points per game last season on a loaded FAU team
The Owls won 35 games on their way to the national semifinals two years ago and came back to finish 25-9 after their return trip to the NCAA Tournament
That FAU team featured a host of nationally prominent players
including Johnell Davis and Vladislav Goldin
“That was the most fun I’ve had in my life,” Lorient said of FAU’s Final Four run
It was a bunch of fun with all my brothers.”
Several of those players had eligibility remaining after last year and elected to move on after Dusty May
the coach who built FAU’s program into a national power
Lorient decided to explore his options as well
He wanted to play more and take advantage of what he learned during his time with the Owls
“The biggest thing I took away from FAU was how to play basketball,” Lorient said
“Those guys really knew how to play and certain cues to look for.”
Lorient is preparing to take on a larger role at UNT and has already made an impression on his new teammates
“Brenan has great energy and will do great things for us,” forward Moulaye Sissoko said
“The experience he got in the Final Four will help us for sure.”
The challenge for Lorient will likely be handling an increased workload
He came to UNT hoping to play a prominent role
He’ll almost certainly get that opportunity
“Brenan played 10 or 15 minutes a game on a really good team,” Hodge said
“He could come in and provide big bursts of energy and empty the tank
Foul trouble didn’t matter because he wasn’t expected to be out there
He’s learning how to play longer periods of time with the same amount of effort while being a little more efficient with his energy
Lorient will have the support of his former FAU teammates as he looks to capitalize
“We talk all the time on FaceTime,” Lorient said
“It bonds you when you go through something like that together.”
Lorient saw firsthand what it takes to go on a magical postseason two years ago and helped FAU make it back to the NCAA Tournament last season
He didn’t play a headline role in either year
“We have the tools to go far,” Lorient said
showcased their strength throughout the season
Lorient currently sit at the top of the Ligue 2 standings with 68 points
three points ahead of second-placed Paris FC and seven points clear of Metz in third
With the top two teams earning automatic promotion to Ligue 1
Lorient have confirmed their return to the top flight without the need to compete in the promotion playoffs

FC Lorient have officially sealed their return to Ligue 1 McDonald's
the Merlus secured promotion thanks to a dominant 4-0 victory over already-relegated Caen
Metz’s 2-1 defeat away at Pau confirmed Lorient's immediate return to the top flight
Olivier Pantaloni’s team quickly took control
Siriné Doucouré Bamba opened the scoring (17’)
before rising star Eli Junior Kroupi doubled the lead (24’)
Lorient eased off slightly after the break but added two more late goals through Sambou Soumano (78’
news of Metz’s defeat sent the Stade du Moustoir into ecstasy
Lorient can now set their sights on clinching the Ligue 2 BKT title – the perfect way to kick off the club’s centenary celebrations in the 2025-2026 season
"The end of the season was quite stressful with direct opponents who didn't give up," said a relieved Lorient manager Olivier Pantaloni following the game." Today
free of pressure and with the club already in Ligue 1 McDonald's
we've achieved the goal we set ourselves at the start of the season."
Paris FC dropped crucial points in their promotion push
the Parisians took the lead through Vincent Marchetti (36') but were pegged back when Tawfik Bentayeb equalized late on (78’)
given the first half and the head-to-head at the start of the second
I think we could have made it 2-0," said Paris FC manager Stéphane Gilli following the game
which plays a big part at the end of the season
I think the standard is really high in Ligue 2."
The 1-1 draw keeps PFC in second place but leaves the door slightly ajar for Metz..
a chance the Grenats ultimately squandered
losing 2-1 and seeing their hopes of automatic promotion almost completely vanish
Despite a superb performance from goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart
Metz struggled defensively and eventually conceded to Mamadou M'Boup (72’) and Arconte from the penalty spot (82’)
Two penalties conceded in one match reflected Metz’s fragile state
Papa Amadou Diallo had briefly equalized (79’) but it was a false dawn
Now trailing Lorient by seven points and Paris FC by four
Metz are likely to settle for the promotion play-offs
barring an unlikely miracle in the final two games
"Some players were probably stuck in a mental rut," said manager Stephane Le Mignan following the game
I'm not happy with how we're playing at the moment
We're all thinking about what we need to do to try and move forward and rediscover the momentum we've lost in the last two games."

At the same time, Metz lost 2-1 at Pau. While Le Havre's 1-1 draw with Monaco has already condemned Montpellier to Ligue 2
Ligue 1 already knows the name of a promoted side for the 2025-2026 season
The name is Lorient. Leading the league at the start of Matchday 32, the Merlus could confirm their return to the top flight if they beat Caen and Metz lost at Pau
At Le Moustoir, against Caen, who have already been relegated to the National, Lorient won comfortably, 4-0
FC Metz needed at least a point to hold off the Bretons
who can no longer be caught by the third-placed team
The defeat in Bearn also means that Paris FC are now four points clear of Lorient with two games remaining
Metz now face the promotions playoffs before perhaps facing the 16th-placed team in Ligue 1 to return to the top flight
FC Lorient and Athletic Club have announced that this weekend they will wear a shared captain’s armband for their respective matches against Stade Lavallois (on Saturday) and Real Valladolid (on Sunday)
as part of a joint effort to promote Breton and Basque culture and language
“[This] collaboration allows the two clubs
which carefully maintain their culture and in particular their regional language (Breton and Euskara)
to proudly combine their identities… [We] come together around a very strong attachment to our territory
common values but also an openness to the outside world materialized in particular by our ports connected to the world.“
This season Lorient have created a unique captain’s armband for each home game with the designs highlighting a different aspect of the history of the club and the local region
This weekend the armband is designed around the Basque and Breton flags and will feature both clubs’ badges
The letter K is front and centre of the new armband representing the Breton and Basque word for captain (Kabitenn and Kapitaina)
Lorient are looking to bounce immediately back from their relegation down to Ligue 2 last season
The club are five points clear at the top of the table and have won their last five games in a row as they search for automatic promotion back to Ligue 1
FC Lorient have taken a unique approach this season to their captain’s armbands
the Ligue 2 side have designed a unique armband which pays homage to a different part of the club and the port town’s history
while another was created in a joint effort with Athletic Club to promote Breton and Basque culture and language
For their penultimate home game against SM Caen this weekend
will take to the pitch with an armband made from a fishing net that was recovered from a local port
and “enhanced” with oyster shell powder from an oyster farm in Baden
It’s been a brilliant season so far for Lorient
and they look to be set to return to Ligue 1 at the first time of asking
The club have a one-point lead over Paris FC at the top of the championship with only three games left to play
They take on already relegated Caen this Saturday
and hosting strugglers FC Martigues on the final day of the season
Paris FC secured promotion to the top division with a 1-1 draw against Martigues
as rivals Metz were held to a 3-3 draw by Rodez
Paris FC want to compete with league leaders Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital in the long term
the club has been owned by the Arnault family
one of the richest families in the world with 165 billion euros according to Forbes
The Austrian drinks manufacturer Red Bull also holds shares in the club
It is not only in terms of the league that the two clubs will be playing in the same region in future
Paris FC will move into the Stade Jean-Bouin in the summer
On the other side of Rue Claude Farrère is the Parc des Princes
Lorient had already achieved direct promotion after a year in the second tier with Swiss national goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo
The Breton league leaders travelled to the suburbs of Paris on Saturday afternoon to face a Red Star side that are currently fighting for their lives near the bottom of the Ligue 2 BKT table
Les Merlus managed to seal their third consecutive win and go three points ahead of Paris FC in the battle for promotion
Eli Junior Kroupi has been the subject of major interest this transfer window
but it didn't look like it bothered him one bit when he scored to put Lorient into the lead with a fine low finish on the edge of the box after he was served by Pablo Pagis (24')
Les Merlus doubled their lead when Laurent Abergel chipped through Arthur Avom who just simply poked past Robin Risser to double the Lorientais lead just before the hour-mark (57')
Red Star's Aliou Badji was quick off the mark to follow up on Merwan Ifnaoui's strike that hit the post to half the deficit for L'Étoile Rouge
but the Bretons managed to see out the lead for another vital three points in the race at the top of the table
Stephane Gilli's men travelled to a Stade Roudourou that only last week hosted the likes of Kylian Mbappé
and Vinicius Junior in the UEFA Champions League
Yet this week it was back to Guingamp and Ligue 2 BKT action as Paris FC managed to see out a tight win against the Bretons
Defender Moustapha Mbow was on the end of a corner flicked towards the far post by Jean-Phillipe Krasso to volley Les Parisiens ahead (36')
who would go on to hold onto the one-goal advantage to seal all three points
Martigues traversed the entirety of the country to face off the feel-good story of the season in USL Dunkerque
but the Sang & Or managed to surprise the play-off contenders with a late victory sealed by Ayoub Amraoui just before the end of the 90 minutes
Amraoui would latch onto a fizzed-in cross
before finishing from close range into the back of the net (88')
it meant that the Sudistes would leave the bottom spot of the table and only go four points away from Red Star FC above them
It also condemned SM Caen to the bottom of the table after their loss against ESTAC Troyes

Brighton are plotting a move for Lorient star Arthur Avom as they look to add yet another exciting youngster to their ranks

initially he set out in their reserve team
This season has been his breakout year with the first team
apart from two games he missed because of a knee injury
Avom has appeared in a more attacking midfield role on a few occasions
He looks to have decent awareness off the ball and is confident on it
He scored his first goal for Lorient in February
but already had his first assists to his name by October
getting two in the same game against Rodez
His timing in duels looks like one of his most encouraging traits
which should allow him to make a healthy number of tackles and interceptions as he develops
