French soccer champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a site in Poissy, located roughly 24km outside the French capital, for their new stadium, according to L’Equipe
The proposed location in Poissy is owned by Stellantis Group
which has postponed the decision on its future at the site until the end of 2025
with unions concerned the company will close its production facility
The location would not just serve as the site for a new 60,000-capacity stadium but the Ligue 1 side would also reportedly use the 50-acre land to build shops
hotels and hospitality spots to create a multi-use complex dubbed ‘PSG Land’
Poissy is just 3.8km away from PSG’s training ground in the small town of Yvelines
cost in the region of €300 million (US$322.7 million) and was unveiled in July
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi confirmed the French champions planned to leave the Parc des Princes after the Paris City Council decided the stadium was not for sale following months of negotiations
PSG had explored options including relocating to the Stade de France
but opted not to submit a proposal to purchase the stadium before a January deadline
The deal would have been complicated given the government’s desire to continue having national soccer and rugby union matches played at the venue
increasing the likelihood of fixture clashes

According to L’Équipe
Paris Saint-Germain are considering a site in Poissy to build a new 60,000-seater stadium
The Ligue 1 champions are set to leave the Parc des Princes in the near future and
A site in the same location as their training ground is the latest under consideration
Les Parisiens unveiled their new training ground
in the small town of Yvelines just over a year ago just 3.8km from the centre of Poissy
The land currently being considered is owned by Stelantis Group
Unions are fearing that the automobile group will be closing down the site
which could make it a viable location for the Ligue 1 club
In addition to having their stadium located in the town just outside of Paris
a stadium would not be the only planned construction for the club
The French capital club would also look to build hotels
A redevelopment of the potential site with 50 acres would see Les Parisiens create a multi-use venue capable of welcoming guests all year round even when there is no match

Stellantis NV has sent its auto engineers back to the office
reversing a policy that Chief Executive Officer Carlos Tavares has used to cut expenses at a company that championed home working in the wake of the pandemic
Engineers have been at the office at least three days a week since January
with some there as many as six days when a new car is introduced
who heads engineering and technology at Stellantis
“It’s impossible to engineer vehicles remotely,” Curic said in an interview in Auburn Hills
engineering sessions and the buildups together
It helps us accelerate a number of projects.”
Stellantis championed remote work in recent years
and in the process drastically reduced office space and sold real estate assets
Labor unions have criticized the intensity of the push
saying workers are often encouraged to stay away as much as possible
The policy has been part of Tavares’ stringent efficiency push
who has cited intense competition from Chinese automakers for cutting jobs in countries including Italy and France
The manufacturer in 2022 said its remote-work policy had become permanent
allowing non-assembly line workers to work from home 70% of the time while several other companies required staff to be back in offices more frequently since the end of pandemic lockdowns
Tavares himself works from his home in Portugal around one week per month
“Remote working is very flexible within Stellantis
depending on the need to work more or less often physically together,” a spokesperson for the company said
“There is a delegation to the management to establish the conditions of the best possible performance.”
has been reorganizing the manufacturer’s engineering operations ever since his role was expanded last year to include research and development
with growing teams also in Brazil and India
Curic’s reversal of the policy helps allay worries that it might be harder for Stellantis engineers to efficiently work together on new cars
The company is in the middle of an ambitious new vehicle rollout plan
with 25 models to be introduced this year alone

Audi is examining existing and future plants as locations to build cars sold in the U.S.
Text description provided by the architects. The series of buildings and pavilions are part of a new 113 hectare large public green space along the Seine river, in Carrière-Sous-Poissy, at the end station of the RER métro line A and close to Le Corbusier’s renowned Villa Savoye. The Park designed by Paris based landscape architects Agence TER will be an ecological showcase for local residents and a leisure destination for people living in and around Paris.
The site of the project is exceptional. Along one edge is the Seine river. The presence of barges, fishing huts and houseboats, which have inhabited the site until now, has been a powerful source of inspiration. Along the other edge is nondescript, suburban detached housing. The design springs from a process of hybridization between these two existing habitat models: the floating barge and the archetypical suburban house.
the collection of pavilions and small "follies" is based on a modular wood system
repeating and combining different sized and angled timber frames
This approach allowed for interesting and unusual constructions
enabling a wide range of possible variations with a very limited number of elements
At the same time the relatively low priced construction method enabled the integration of local building know how and local companies

Built between 1928 and 1931 as a second home for the couple Eugénie and Pierre Savoye

the imposing building - delicately encircled by two rows of rosebushes - reveals its atypical architectural form at the turn of a tree
the Villa Savoye- which resembles an immobile ocean liner - surprises with its bold geometry
In keeping with the five principles of Le Corbusier's Mouvement Moderne
the house has been designed "as a veritable architectural promenade"
a garden roof and wide openings to the outside form an interweaving of rectilinear lines stripped of all superfluous elements
the villa was subsequently abandoned before being purchased by the town of Poissy

The Maison de Fer, a historic building in Poissy
was built in 1896 and is listed as a Monument Historique
this metal structure is a showcase for the industrial architecture of the late 19th century
Now transformed into a museum of Poissy's history and a heritage architecture interpretation center
it offers a journey through Poissy's urban history
incorrectly nicknamed the Eiffel House in the 1970s
is a structure built in 1896 to plans by Belgian architect Joseph Danly
it was listed as a historic monument in 1976 following a confusion that attributed it to Gustave Eiffel's workshop
although it does indeed adopt the pressed sheet metal principle characteristic of the period

left only three examples of his work in France
The house had been abandoned and severely damaged by the storm of 1999
the remains of the house were acquired by the City of Poissy
marking the start of a vast reconstruction project
a dismantling operation was carried out to save as many original pieces as possible
which were then stored for a sanitary assessment to determine which could be reused in the reconstruction
Parts that could not be salvaged were faithfully restored
The project, supported by patrons and subsidies, notably from the Département to promote local tourism, enabled the Maison de Fer to be rebuilt and modernized under the direction of architect Philippe Blanc

Stellantis has been forced to halt production at three of its plants in Europe due to a strike at a plant operated by MA France
Employees at the MA France factory are concerned about plans to move production to Poland. It currently operates out of a site used by PSA up until 2014. In a statement, a Stellantis spokesperson revealed it had been forced to pause operations at two of its Poissy and Hordain factories in France and a British facility in Luton

“Three sites have seen a production halt since the start of the week,” the spokesperson told Reuters
Stellantis hopes it will be able to resume production soon with discussions already underway at the MA France factory
The carmaker’s Poissy factory produces the DS 3 and Opel Mokka while the Hordain site builds commercial vehicles including the Peugeot Expert
Stellantis also builds commercial vehicles at its Luton site and starting next year
it will produce medium-size electric vans for Vauxhall
This isn’t the only spot of production bother Stellantis has found itself in. Earlier this week
it was revealed that the company will have to keep paying a supplier of gears and pinions for the brand’s transmissions called MacLean-Fogg for shipments despite a price dispute

Stellantis agreed to pay MacLean-Fogg $1.4 million under protest in March after the supplier shut down the transmission plants by withholding parts

With the release of the PSG x Jordan 22/23 away shirt came the obligatory wider performance, training and lifestyle ranges, including the marquee sneaker release, the Air Jordan 5 Low PSG. Here, we take a closer look at the full set.
Ahead of their Premier League return this evening against Manchester City, Arsenal have been training in their new 20/21 training collection from adidas, and it’s now available for purchase. The collection sees a split of “Yellow Tint” across numerous items, with a “Tech Indigo” colouring covering the rest.
The PSG x Jordan collaboration was a game changer, no doubt. The exclusive three-year partnership kicked off in 2018 and was extended for a further year in 2021, but now that deal is coming to an end with no sign of an extension. So does this mean the end of the ground-breaking, border-crossing team up? The short answer is no, but the key detail is in the word ‘exclusive’.
Matching the ambition of the Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint-Germain have unveiled rendered images of their new €300 million training centre, which is currently under construction, with the plan being that it will host the men’s and women’s first teams and the academy from the 23/24 season.
Paris Saint-Germain players switched into the new Nike Spring/Summer 2018 Training Wear this week as the Swoosh launched the updated collection of performance clothing. Replacing the all red collection that the players have been training in since the summer comes the "Hyper Cobalt" refresh for the business end of the season.
Offering a seasonal refresh ready for spring, Liverpool debuted their new 2022 training range from Nike yesterday – but fans hoping for a new fourth shirt that follows in the same dark green colour scheme will be disappointed.
With just two games left of the current campaign, Manchester United look ahead to a fresh challenge by revealing their new 23/24 training range from adidas before wearing the new gear in their latest training session.
Bringing with it a combination of style and performance that can be carried seamlessly from the training ground and onto the street, adidas launch the 2021 Tiro range.

It's been a little more than a month of off/pre-season at PSG but it's fair to say that we have had all sorts of drama and news coverage for the past few weeks already
The players of the first-team of PSG have yet to report to the training ground (they'll do so starting on July 10 for non-internationals
but it's not that PSG have not been forced into navigating many storylines
Here is an early review of everything that has gone on around PSG for the past month after they wrapped up the 2022/23 season by lifting their 11th Ligue 1 title
split into four parts for easier digestion
We had known for a long time that PSG would be moving from their training facilities at Camp des Loges this summer
The new training ground and the rest of the buildings won't be fully available for all PSG divisions (Feminine
the first team of the soccer division of the organization will enjoy them starting July 10
The unveiling of the new training center at Poissy aligns with the "New Era" of PSG as labeled by both president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting advisor Luis Campos
It is expected that PSG will move from the "bling-bling" mantra into another
"Frenchified" way of building their squad without so many egos around the locker room
The aim is for PSG to shift the focus of media toward their on-field performance instead of the off-field drama that usually overshadows everything the team achieves on the field
the reported €300m cost of the new training ground already made for some saucy headlines about the monster spending of the club in such a posh venue
covering 74 hectares and featuring 17 pitches
including men's and women's football
and handball and it boasts amenities such as a swimming pool
and even a vegetable patch for self-sustainability
it showcases PSG's commitment to establishing one of the best training centers in the game
We'll have to wait and see if whatever happens inside the Poissy walls turns into better production on the pitch
where PSG tend to fall short of expectations

The players of the first-team of PSG have yet to report to the training ground (they'll do so starting on July 10 for non-internationals, and July 17 for the rest of players), but it's not that PSG have not been forced into navigating many storylines.
Here is an early review of everything that has gone on around PSG for the past month after they wrapped up the 2022/23 season by lifting their 11th Ligue 1 title, split into four parts for easier digestion.
We had known for a long time that PSG would be moving from their training facilities at Camp des Loges this summer.
The new training ground and the rest of the buildings won't be fully available for all PSG divisions (Feminine, Handball, etc...) until next year. Still, the first team of the soccer division of the organization will enjoy them starting July 10.
The unveiling of the new training center at Poissy aligns with the "New Era" of PSG as labeled by both president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting advisor Luis Campos. It is expected that PSG will move from the "bling-bling" mantra into another, "Frenchified" way of building their squad without so many egos around the locker room.
The aim is for PSG to shift the focus of media toward their on-field performance instead of the off-field drama that usually overshadows everything the team achieves on the field. That said, the reported €300m cost of the new training ground already made for some saucy headlines about the monster spending of the club in such a posh venue.
The new training facility, covering 74 hectares and featuring 17 pitches, will cater to all PSG sports, including men's and women's football, judo, and handball and it boasts amenities such as a swimming pool, an academy school, sleeping quarters for players, a restaurant, and even a vegetable patch for self-sustainability.
Although not yet fully completed, it showcases PSG's commitment to establishing one of the best training centers in the game, no matter what it cost the club. We'll have to wait and see if whatever happens inside the Poissy walls turns into better production on the pitch, where PSG tend to fall short of expectations.
While international players are set to return next week
and Manuel Ugarte underwent physical and medical tests early on Monday
PSG kicked off their training at their new state-of-the-art facility in Poissy
A small group of fans awaited the team's arrival at the newly established training center to start the week
and shared a few minutes with the PSG players already present at Poissy this week
who were granted an extra week of rest following their appearances on the international stage last mid-June-with-their-nations
The day featured many trips between the training center and the American hospital
where PSG players underwent medical tests on Monday to check their health and fitness ahead of the pre-season tours and scheduled matches
Construction vehicles were still found around the compound as they keep building some parts of the new PSG Campus
which is only ready to use for the soccer first team for now
it will also host the handball team as well as the women's side and other sports teams operating under the PSG organization
Other world-renown players such as Hugo Ekitike
and Ismail Gharbi took part in Monday's return to the PSG facilities
Presnel Kimpembe and Nordi Mukiele made appearances too
along with superstar signings Manuel Ugarte and Lucas Hernandez
and Brazilian legend Neymar following his season-ending ankle surgery
With training underway and key players returning
PSG fans can anticipate an exciting season ahead
they'll have to keep an eye on the returns of PSG players to training on a slow basis
as the club has organized such events so they don't all come at the same time to avoid trouble
