Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Maxen Kapo's first professional contract
The 18-year-old French midfielder has signed until 30 June 2022
Maxen started playing football at the age of 5 at US Malakoff in the Paris suburb of Hauts-de-Seine
the boy from Quincy-sous-Sénart moved to the Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy
going on to captain the U17s to the 2017 French Championship as well as the prestigious Alkass International Cup in 2018
The 2018-2019 season saw Maxen step up to the Rouge et Bleu U19 team under Thiago Motta
Last Sunday he was one of his team's two scorers in the 2-1 victory over Caen that saw the young Parisians move ahead of the Normandy-based club at the top of group A in the national championship
He has also participated in 6 UEFA Youth League matches this season
The club wishes Maxen a successful professional career with the Rouge et Bleu

<a href="https://lastwordonsports.com/motorsports/2022/08/21/formula-3-rivals-isack-hadjer-v-victor-martins-who-will-prevail/">Victor Martins</a> is a 21-year-old driver born and raised in Quincy-sous-Senart
he moved on to karting at the age of thirteen where he finished third in the standings at the Challenge Rotax Max France in his debut season
The following year Martins won his first karting championship and would go on to win three more titles through the end of 2016

Martins made his single-seater debut in the French F4 championship for four races
He would finish fifth in the standings after taking two podiums
The next year he raced for a full season and came in second in the championship
In 2021 and 2022 he stepped up to Formula 3 and repeated his pattern from Formula Renault Eurocup. First a season with MP Motorsport (&#8217;21) finishing 5th in the F3 standings. Then the &#8217;22 campaign with ART Grand Prix where he secured the title, albeit in a <a href="https://lastwordonsports.com/motorsports/2022/09/11/formula-3-f3-5-takeaways-from-the-italian-grand-prix/">controversial manner on the final day. </a>
It is highly likely that Martins moves up to Formula 2 next season
