OGC Nice claimed a narrow but crucial 1-0 victory over Stade de Reims on Friday night to move provisionally into third place in Ligue 1
A first-half goal from Morgan Sanson was enough to separate the sides
but Francesco Farioli’s men were made to suffer during a tense and disjointed second half
The only goal of the game came in the 15th minute
A long ball from Melvin Bard into the Reims box caused confusion between defender Okumu and goalkeeper Diouf
Their miscommunication allowed Morgan Sanson to pounce and slot into an empty net – his third goal in as many games and a rare highlight in an otherwise lacklustre attacking display from the hosts
with Reims struggling to make inroads and recording just one touch inside the opposition box by the 32nd minute
The Gym were composed without being threatening
and a quiet Allianz Riviera saw out a rather uneventful first 45 minutes
Will Still’s Reims came out with more intent in the second half
and began to stretch a Nice side that clearly dropped off physically and tactically
The visitors created multiple clear-cut chances: Junya Ito forced a good stop from Marcin Bulka
while Oumar Diakhon and Mohamed Daramy – both second-half substitutes – added much-needed dynamism
The best opportunity fell to Ibrahim Diakité in the dying seconds of added time
but his close-range effort was blocked by a teammate after Diakhon’s initial strike was deflected
were relieved to hear the final whistle after eight minutes of stoppage time
While Nice climb into third place – at least temporarily – and take a significant step toward European qualification
Reims missed a golden opportunity to mathematically secure their Ligue 1 survival
Still in 13th place with three matches remaining
they remain five points clear of the relegation play-off spot
The evening marked a first Ligue 1 start for 18-year-old midfielder Ange Tia, who impressed in flashes before being forced off early in the second half with what appeared to be cramp. It was an encouraging outing for the Malian youngster despite the result.READ MORE: >>Paris FC clinch historic promotion to Ligue 1 McDonald's

Stade de Reims head to the Côte d’Azur with the hope of getting a win that would potentially confirm their safety in Ligue 1

There was a fear that Ito had suffered a serious injury
stating that the forward had not suffered a sprain
Diawara confirmed he would need a few days’ rest and so he misses Reims’ match against Nice on Friday night

Morgan Sanson celebrates his goalPSNEWZ / Sipa Press / ProfimediaNice extended their unbeaten H2H record against Stade de Reims to 13 matches with a nervy 1-0 victory at Allianz Riviera, with the win keeping Les Aiglons in the hunt for an automatic place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.Nice came into the game in a buoyant mood having become the first French team to defeat Paris Saint-Germain in the league this season
running out 3-1 winners at Parc des Princes last Friday
The Aiglons knew they could take advantage of playing before all of their rivals this weekend and put the pressure onto their shoulders
Before the game, Manager Franck Haise said his team are “capable of great things”, and whilst they weren’t at their free-flowing best in the first half, they were able to hit the front with 15 minutes on the clock when a chipped ball into the area wasn’t dealt with by the Reims defence
and it fell kindly to Morgan Sanson who swept it into an empty net for his third goal in just his second start of the season
there wasn’t much to write home about in a first half that saw both teams only muster a single shot on target apiece
with Reims’ poor record in this fixture undoubtedly on their minds as they struggled to make an impression
The key statsOpta by StatsPerformHaving done enough to take a one-goal lead into half-time
the hosts were keen to press on after the restart
Haise’s men have only lost twice at home in Ligue 1 this season
but those two reversals did come in their last four matches
and they weren’t looking particularly convincing against their lowly opposition
The home fans would have been concerned by the fact their team’s last six matches had seen both sides score
with Les Aiglons doing little to threaten a second goal
and they were almost punished with just over 20 minutes remaining when a ball across the area found Valentin Atangana unmarked
but the midfielder lost his footing slightly and saw his close-range effort fly over the crossbar
The Red and Whites looked the likelier team to find a goal late on
but Nice did just about enough to keep them at bay and hold on for a victory that lifts them into third for the time being
while Reims will have to wait until next week to mathematically secure their Ligue 1 safety as they sit 13th
five points clear of the drop zone with two games remaining

Japan attacker Keito Nakamura took his season's tally to 11 goals in the French Ligue 1 with a brace on Friday as Reims claimed a 2-0 win away to Lens
The 24-year-old steered high into the net for the 33rd-minute opener at Stade Bollaert-Delelis off a low left-wing cross from Sergio Akieme
reaching double figures for goals in one of Europe's five major leagues
Reims keeper Yehvann Diouf stood firm as the visitors held on to the lead before Nakamura's second in the 88th minute after substitute Nhoa Sangui launched a counter from inside his own half and set up the Japanese to side-foot into the far bottom corner
The win moved Reims up to 14th on 29 points and out of the relegation zone
attacker Kodai Sano drilled in a left-footed opener 15 seconds into the second half for his second goal this term in the Eredivisie
helping NEC Nijmegen secure a late 2-1 over RKC Waalwijk

OGC Nice kick-off what will be another tense weekend of action as the battle to the UEFA Champions League and European spots heats up with just three Match days left of the season
They face a Reims outfit at the Allianz Riviera that are hoping to seal mathematical safety as they travel to the Côte d'Azur during Friday night's action
Les Aiglons are full of confidence following their big win over PSG thanks to a brace from former Marseille man Morgan Sanson and a stunning third from Youssouf Ndayishimiye to seal the end of Les Parisiens' invincible streak in Ligue 1 McDonald's this season
Le Gym are now just three points behind Riviera rivals Monaco - with only four points separating Marseille in second
all the way down to Strasbourg in seventh place
it's a huge achievement," said Nice boss Franck Haise following his 3-1 win over the Champions last Friday evening
"The hardest part is reproducing a performance like that."
Reims drew against bottom side Montpellier at Stade de la Mosson
Samba Diawara's men have a cushion of five points to 16th-placed Le Havre and six point lead over Saint-Étienne
meaning they could mathematically tie up safety with just a draw against Nice on Friday evening
Les Rémois will have to travel to the South with a doubt for Junya Ito
who had to come off against Montpelier with an ankle injury
the Reims coach said in his press conference that the player had "a large bruise
"It's a bruise that will still require a few days' rest
he can walk normally and has been out on the pitch for a bit
even though there could be a dramatic improvement between now and Friday

OGC Nice’s defensive options are limited as they prepare to host Stade de Reims at the Allianz Riviera
The club are reeling after two major injuries in the space of the last week
Mohamed Abdelmonem was the first to suffer an injury
He ruptured his ACL in an innocuous duel against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday and will be out for several months
The same fate then befell Youssouf Ndayishimiye
He suffered the injury during a duel in training on Wednesday and like his Egyptian teammate
will now face a considerable spell on the sidelines
Dante returns having missed the win against PSG last weekend with a minor knee injury
Franck Haise’s options at the back are therefore limited
OGC Nice edged out a spirited Stade de Reims side (1-0) thanks to a first-half goal from Morgan Sanson
It sees Franck Haise’s side move provisionally into third place in what is an important win in their attempts to secure UEFA Champions League football
Reims have been labelled as a team that can’t or won’t play an attractive form of football but at times
who created few chances but gave up plenty to what is considered an inferior opposition
Chances were at a premium but Le Gym were provided a glorious one on the 15-minute mark when a dangerous ball into the box landed simultaneously in Yehvann Diouf’s and Joseph Okumu’s goal
The goalkeeper was obliged to come but didn’t take the ball
who put it on a plate for Sanson to turn it into the empty net
Les Aiglons had more possession but it was Les Stadistes who had the better chances in the second half
Amadou Koné found himself in a glorious position after a high turnover but with a clear sight at Marcin Bulka’s goal
he could only shoot straight at the Poland international
Moïse Bombito’s poor positioning saw Keito Nakamura played in on goal but his curled effort was tepid
It felt premature and Reims did keep pushing but they could not find the equaliser with Nice holding on for an unconvincing but important victory
He looked nervous in the first half and had a couple of ‘moments’
including a slip that almost provided Reims with a glorious chance
There is a feeling of what if about Sanson
He could have made a huge difference to this Nice side over the course of the campaign had he not been injured for the vast majority of it
He popped up in the right position to score his third goal in just two games and was efficient and purposeful in his distribution
He has been absent for so long but is now making a big difference in the final sprint
His performances against Paris Saint-Germain and Reims are worth six crucial points
there was lots of intent and lots of technical quality in his play
which hasn’t always been said for Bouanani

"The first thing I would like to highlight is the success of this competition
Reims already had a history of organising kata competitions
Until last year this was done under the auspices of the European Judo Union
It made sense for us to rely on local organisers because they already knew what needed to be done
They have already expressed their desire to host another edition next year
we are also working hard to get other continents involved
we believe we can attract more and more participants
We are thus providing them with a broader range of opportunities to better prepare for the world championships
The Kata World Series is the antechamber to the world championships
‘practising in front of international judges is important.’ It allows them to assess their progress and their room for improvement
Since the format is the same as at the world championships
everything is in place for everyone to improve
being able to participate in more competitions also allows them to develop a sense of belonging to a global circuit
It gives them recognition at international tournaments
I find that year after year we see more and more countries getting involved
There is no doubt that the fruit of this development will be reaped at the next world championships
The kata commission expects around 200 pairs
The Reims IJF Kata World Series 2025 will help achieve this goal

The French government has awarded Latitude funding to support the construction of its new rocket factory in Reims
Latitude is developing a two-stage rocket called Zephyr
designed to deliver payloads of up to 200 kilograms to low Earth orbit
the company expects to produce between five and ten Zephyr rockets per year
Latitude first announced plans to develop a larger rocket factory in late 2023, when it expanded its original site from 1,500 to 3,000 square metres
The new facility is expected to span approximately 25,000 square metres and will support a production capacity of up to 50 Zephyr rockets per year
Latitude announced that it had been awarded funding through the France 2030 “First Factory” call to assist with the construction of its new rocket factory
the France 2030 initiative is a €54 billion investment programme aimed at strengthening French industry through technological innovation
the country launched the “First Factory” call under the France 2030 initiative as a means of supporting start-ups and SMEs in establishing their first industrial production sites on French soil
“This program consolidates our industrial vision: to develop
a high-frequency launch capability for small satellites – a key lever of space sovereignty,” said Latitude Executive Chairman Stanislas Maximin
Latitude did not disclose the exact amount of funding it received for the construction of its new factory
it is known that while part of the funding will be awarded as a straight grant
a portion will take the form of a recoverable loan
Latitude is currently working toward an inaugural flight of its Zephyr rocket, which is expected to take place in 2026. On 8 April, the company announced that it had completed an initial hot fire test of a flight version of the combustion chamber for its Navier rocket engine at its Titan testing centre in Vatry
Maximin announced on Twitter that the company had successfully completed a second test
The Executive Chairman also revealed that Latitude is in the process of building a replica of its launch installation to allow the company to begin integrated tests of the Zephyr’s first and second stages at its Titan testing facilities

to be forced wide and see his shot blocked
The hosts suffered a setback midway through the first half as Deiver Machado was forced off through injury and replaced a few minutes later by the arguably more attack-minded Angelo Fulgini
Almost immediately after Fulgini’s introduction, Jordan Siebatcheu will perhaps feel that he should have at least troubled Lens goalkeeper Mathew Ryan, as Junya Ito’s corner was headed over from close range by the American
Reims did get their noses in front on 33 minutes, however, as patient build-up play resulted in Sergio Akieme seeing his cross inadvertently sent back to him by Lens defender Juma Bah, with Akieme duly cutting the ball back for Keito Nakamura to guide it into the roof of the net
Lens - Reims match statsOpta by StatsPerformTo compound matters, Bah soon had to be withdrawn, having failed to sufficiently recover from a head knock sustained earlier in the half, with Malang Sarr taking his place
Lens manager Will Still will have been looking for more attacking quality from his team heading into the second period, with nothing yet guaranteed. Indeed, an equaliser could have materialised less than a minute after the interval were it not for Hiroki Sekine’s block to thwart Sotoca
whose downward header was stopped by Diouf before Koyalipou fired the rebound over
Lens continued to threaten after that switch, with substitute Wesley Saïd’s poor control preventing him from getting on the scoresheet, before Yehvann Diouf pulled off a double save to deny Anass Zaroury and Adrien Thomasson
The points were sealed late on, however, when a breakaway by Nhoa Sangui was stroked home by Nakamura for his second of the night
and Reims ended their 13-game H2H winless streak
the Sang et Or remain five points adrift of the top six

Champagne houses discovered that these subterranean galleries
provided the ideal environment for aging bubbles due to their consistent temperature and humidity levels
the crayères served as shelters for the denizens of Reims
with makeshift communities developing to maintain a semblance of everyday life below the city’s chaotic streets
a school named for General Augustin Dubail was established to ensure the continuation of education for the city's children

the newly redesigned visitor center reopened in July 2024
revealing a striking new look that was more in line with the artistic ethos of the brand
contemporary space infuses French flair through the furnishings
from arches and curves to fluted glass doors and cabinetry trimmed in black
the rooms and lounges remain accessible to all
whether Champagne neophytes or seasoned consumers
With a focus on smaller, more intimate groups, Taittinger now offers three experiences
This 70-minute tour provides an introduction to Taittinger's point of view
Guests explore the cellars before enjoying tastings of the Brut Réserve and Prestige Rosé Champagnes
This 90-minute experience highlights the interplay between Champagne and food

Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of defender Emmanuel Agbadou from Ligue 1 club Stade de Reims
The Athletic reported on Monday that Wolves had agreed to a fee of €18million (£14m; $18.8m) plus €2m in add-ons for Agbadou. The centre-back underwent a medical on Monday and has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League club
The deal also contains an option for a further 12 months
Wolves have been looking to bolster their defence after the departure of former captain Maximilian Kilman to West Ham United in July and the anterior cruciate ligament injury (ACL) suffered by Yerson Mosquera in September
Agbadou’s arrival gives new head coach Vitor Pereira — who replaced Gary O’Neil in December — more options in his favoured back three and is the club’s first signing under the Portuguese
The 27-year-old is an Ivory Coast international and has been capped 11 times
He had made 15 appearances for Reims in all competitions this season
“Emmanuel’s a winner and he’s driven,” Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs told the club’s website
He’s the type of player the Wolves fans should love
because you’re going to get absolutely everything he’s got
but he can fall back on his key attributes being akin to the Premier League
“The fact that he was on ours and Vitor’s lists shows that he’s well rounded
Then being made captain of Reims has really taken his game to the next level
Agbadou joined Reims from Belgian Pro League club Eupen in 2022
one place above the relegation zone after Monday’s 3-0 home defeat against Nottingham Forest
and only ahead of 18th-placed Ipswich Town on goal difference
The West Midlands side have conceded a league-high 45 goals this season
who have previously been deployed as full-backs or wing-backs
have been used as part of the three-man defence amid Wolves’ limited options at centre-back
Agbadou could be in line to make his debut on Saturday when Wolves begin their FA Cup campaign with a visit to Championship side Bristol City

Reims Boost PSG's Title Hopes with Stunning Win Over MarseilleStade de Reims pulled off a crucial 3-1 victory over Olympique de Marseille on Matchday 27 of Ligue 1
a result that not only lifts them further from the relegation zone but also brings Paris Saint-Germain to the brink of clinching the title
Reims snapped a 15-match winless streak in the league and now sit five points clear of the drop
the result means that PSG could mathematically secure the Ligue 1 title this Saturday
if they defeat Saint-Étienne and Monaco vs Nice ends in a draw
when Keito Nakamura opened the scoring with a composed finish following an assist from Mamadou Diakhon
Diakhon then doubled the lead in the 52nd minute
capitalizing on Marseille's disorganized defense
Valentin Atangana Edoa added a third for Reims
Valentin Rongier managed a late consolation goal for Marseille
but it wasn’t enough to prevent a third straight league loss for the visitors
The loss leaves Marseille second in the table
trailing PSG by 19 points and holding just a two-point lead over Monaco and Nice
who are in pursuit of European qualification
PSG now have a golden opportunity to secure the title early
If Luis Enrique’s men defeat Saint-Étienne
the Parisian giants will officially be crowned Ligue 1 champions
Not only did they take down a top-tier opponent
but they also rediscovered their attacking flair and intensity at a critical point in the season

The samples were analyzed under ambient ionization without time-consuming sample preparation
The phenotypic data of WAR and CAR were used to develop a real-time recognition model
the compounds in these two species were comprehensively characterized based on 2DLC-MS
and 45 different compounds were screened out by multivariate statistical analysis
A semi-quantitative method for 45 different compounds was established based on ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography/quadrupole-linear ion trap mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QTRAP-MS)
The results showed that the relative content of most compounds in WAR was higher than in CAR
the method has demonstrated remarkable performance in distinguishing between WAR and CAR
providing a reference in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) analysis and identification
it is of great significance to establish a rapid and effective method for identifying WAR and CAR
such as the need for cumbersome sample preparation and time-consuming instrument operation
these techniques can not fully characterize the samples
leading to insufficient discrimination accuracy
given the compositional complexity of most herbal metabolites
the aforementioned single analytical method is not sufficient to completely characterize complex components and trace components
an integrated strategy combining different MS instruments could provide a solid foundation for the systematic characterization and annotation of the chemical diversity of TCM
The present study aimed to develop a method that could rapidly and accurately distinguish between WAR and CAR based on REIMS combined with 2DLC-MS technology
REIMS was used to establish a discriminant model to identify unknown AR samples in the market
thereby enabling accurate distinction of the two types
many batches of AR samples were characterized by 2DLC-MS
and potential markers were screened by multivariate statistical analysis to further verify the REIMS results
a QTRAP-MS platform was used to further screen potential markers and conduct semi-quantitative analysis
the REIMS method was developed to identify WAR and CAR in real time without any sample preparation
This study provides a rapid and almost nondestructive method for the qualitative detection of TCMs that are easily confused
It was found that the overall intensity of the total ion chromatograms (TICs) increased from 30 V to 55 V
resulting in the maximum signal intensity at a heater bias voltage of 55 V
40 V and 55 V were chosen as the optimal cone voltage and heater bias voltage
c The mass spectra of WAR in the range of m/z 100–1000
d The mass spectra of CAR in the range of m/z 100–1000
c Bidimensional score lots along the first two main linear discriminants
e Loading plot relative to the PC2 (explaining 32.48% and 8.38% of the total variance of the model)
f Real-time recognition by LiveID of WAR in the mutivariate model
g Real-time recognition by LiveID of CAR in the mutivariate model
A total of eight unknown samples were identified in real-time; samples U1-U4 were identified as WAR
Recognition confidence for both WAR and CAR samples was above 99%
The results demonstrated that the REIMS-based method is also feasible and suitable for identifying WAR and CAR samples
REIMS eliminates the need for sample pretreatment
It takes only a few seconds to complete data collection and analysis
avoiding the time-consuming analysis of traditional LC-MS
it can also generate information at the molecular level
and it is possible to identify different metabolite ions to distinguish medicinal materials
It provides a new approach for the analysis and identification of WAR and CAR
c Results of 100 permutation tests of OPLS-DA
The relative contents of these two saponins were higher in WAR compared to CAR
making WAR more advantageous for clinical applications
contrasting with the 35.31 ± 7.59 found in CAR
It may have application advantages in clinical application of WAR to treat diseases
pronounced differences exist in the content of compounds between WAR and CAR
attributed primarily to variations in tissue structure and cell composition
as well as differences in cultivation methods and growth environments
the REIMS method was developed for the direct analysis of WAR and CAR samples
combining 2DLC-MS and multivariate statistical model
The proposed REIMS method could rapidly distinguish unknown AR samples with an accuracy of 99%
Through 2DLC-MS and multivariate statistical analysis
45 different compounds were screened out and identified
based on the semi-quantitative analysis platform of UHPLC-QTRAP MS
a semi-quantitative method for 45 different compounds in WAR and CAR was established
which could be considered as significantly differential metabolites between the two species
The results showed that the relative content of most compounds in WAR was higher than that in CAR
the REIMS technique is a promising tool for low conductivity sample ionization and MS profiling without sample preparation
The strategy of this study not only provides an objective method for identifying WAR and CAR
but also provides a reference for the identification of other medicines with the same origin
so as to ensure the safety and effectiveness of their clinical use
These samples were subjected to authentication by Professor Pengfei Tu (Peking University
and perform further confirmation based on microscopic structures
All these samples were deposited at the authors’ laboratory (Peking University
The sample was crushed and passed through a 50-mesh sieve. 1.0 g of powder was accurately weighed and added to 1.5 mL of water for dissolution, so that the sample became a certain viscous state, and the dissolved sample was placed into a cylindrical container wrapped with aluminum foil for testing, as shown in Fig. S5
Each batch of AR powder (1.0 g) was thoroughly mixed together to make a QC sample for the optimization of the REIMS experimental conditions
Accurately weighed AR powder (500 mg) was placed into 15 mL centrifuge tubes containing 10 mL of 70% methanol (v/v)
Then the samples were ultrasonic extracted for 1 h
followed by centrifugation at 10,000 rpm for 10 min
and the supernatant was passed through a 0.22 μm polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane to be detected by 2DLC-MS
A QC sample was prepared by mixing equal volumes of each AR sample to evaluate the performance of the 2DLC-MS system
All sample solutions were stored in a refrigerator at 4 oC before use
The REIMS analysis was performed using a REIMS ion source coupled to a Waters Xevo G2-XS quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer (Waters
a monopolar electrosurgical knife (Model PS01-63H
China) device was used to apply localized high-frequency current to the surface of the samples through a 3 m long
1 cm diameter ultra-flexible tubing (evacuation/vent line)
Electrosurgical dissection in all experiments was performed using an Erbe VIO 50 C generator (Erbe Medical UK Ltd
and the aerosols containing gaseous compounds were aspirated through a PTFE tube attached to a venturi gas jet pump that is attached to the REIMS source described above
The ionization conditions of the iKnife were optimized as follows: heater bias voltage: 55 V; cutting time: 1 S; cutting length: 1 cm; cone voltage: 40 V
Ten technical replicates were carried out per sample with 2–3 s delay between each cut
0.1% formic acid-50% acetonitrile/water (v/v) of leucine enkephalin solution (200 pg/μL) was used as a lock mass solution and continuously introduced at a flow rate of 2 µL/min
The mass spectra were acquired in negative ion mode with the mass range of m/z 50–1200
USA) was used for REIMS data acquisition and peak extraction
and all MS data was collected in negative ion mode
The mass spectra signals of 10 peaks were taken from each sample to build a model
Data analysis was completed by LiveID 1.2 software (Waters
The setting parameters for “Build the model” in Live ID are as follows: five PCA components; one linear discriminant; three standard deviations; binning resolution of 0.1 m/z; mass range of 50–1200 m/z
Using the default Leu-Enk setting for the demonstration data
peak extraction and alignment were achieved using MS-DIAL 5.1.230912 software
The setting parameters related to data processing by MS-DIAL software are as follows: MS1 tolerance
1000 amplitude; mass slice width: 0.1 Da; retention time tolerance
The compounds were identified by molecular formula prediction
online database retrieval (ChemSpider/PubChem)
and confirmation using the “assign” function in Insight Explore software (Shimadzu
MetaboAnalyst 6.0 was used for statistical analysis
including principal component analysis (PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA)
The related parameters settings are as follows: missing value estimation
remove features with >50 missing values; sample normalization
supervised OPLS-DA analysis was used to visualize the variable difference between two groups
and 100 permutation test was conducted to avoid over-fitting of OPLS-DA model
Metabolites with a variable importance to the projection value (VIP) > 1.5 and p-value (p) < 0.05 were considered as differential metabolites
The raw QTRAP data was controlled and analyzed by Analyst 1.6.2 (AB SCIEX

Reims clung on for a 2-1 victory at fourth-division Cannes on Wednesday to set up a French Cup final meeting with holders Paris Saint-Germain in May.
Cannes were looking to become the first fourth-tier club to reach the final since Calais lost to Nantes in the 2000 showpiece, but came up just short.
Instead Ligue 1 side Reims moved to within one win of lifting their first major trophy since the 1991 French League Cup.
They will face PSG, who came from two goals down to defeat second-tier Dunkerque 4-2 on Tuesday, at the Stade de France on May 24.
Reims took a 14th-minute lead when Mamadou Diakhon powered to the byline and pulled the ball back for his fellow 19-year-old Hafiz Ibrahim to turn the ball into an empty net.
Cannes pushed forward in search of an equaliser but almost fell two goals down before the half-hour mark when Reims countered from a corner, but Keito Nakamura could only drag his shot narrowly wide.
The hosts were dreaming of the final, though, when captain Cheikh N'Doye levelled seven minutes after half-time.
The 39-year-old former Senegal midfielder rose highest at the back post to head home Cedric Goncalves' corner.
But Reims restored their advantage before the hour mark, Ibrahim teeing up substitute Teddy Teuma to score.
Cannes piled on the pressure, but Reims held on to keep their hopes of a third French Cup title, and first since 1958, alive.
Ousmane Dembélé opened the score for PSG on an assist from the Georgia international but saw Nakamura put both teams level less than 10 minutes later
Paris was held to a 1-1 draw against Reims at the Parc des Princes in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's debut for the club
Paris hosted Stade de Reims at the Parc des Princes for Matchday 19 of the Ligue 1 McDonald's
just three days after their incredible Champions League success against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City
It was the perfect opportunity to see Kvaratskhelia make his official debut for the club
Luis Enrique made many changes in his starting lineup
with Hakimi and Marquinhos not involved in the squad
Paris struggled to create much danger on Diouf's goal in the first 20 minutes of the game
the Reims' keeper was proved to be important with numerous decisive saves that prevented the French champions to open the score as the first half ended goalless
Just two minutes after the start of the second half
Kvaratskhelia provided his first assist as a PSG player to Ousmane Dembélé who scored for the eighth times in his last seven games

Solid perfomance from the former Rennes player
Kvaratskhelia made his awaited PSG debut at the Parc des Princes after his transfer from Napoli last week
The Georgian displayed flashes of his talent and will without a doubt become an important figure for the club in the upcoming weeks
He nevertheless will need to build more chemistry with his teammates
He was subbed off at the 83rd minute for Asensio
Gonçalo Ramos looked to reiterate the same form he has when coming off the bench
the Portuguese failed to score and was well covered by Reims centre back pair
He was replaced by Senny Mayulu at the 73rd minute
Dembélé showed once more that he is PSG's main offensive threat
He was a constant worry for Reims' defender and put Diouf in danger many times
His goal came from an assist from Kvaratskhelia on a good link up play and with this duo showing to be promising
H was replaced by Barcola at the 60th minute
