March 18 (Xinhua) -- The Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam was arrested and shot in the leg in a large police operation Friday afternoon in Brussels

Prévost participated in the French selection for Eurovision but did not progress past the semi-finals
he won the selection and was chosen to represent France at Eurovision 1978
He performed “Il y aura toujours des violons” on home ground in Paris and finished third
Prévost remained active with residencies at the Olympia and Alhambra theatres in Paris and extensive tours of Africa

who is suspected to have been part of the Paris attacks last year
were reportedly released by French media Monday
The pictures were captured by surveillance cameras at a petrol station in northern France on the morning of Nov
The photos, which were published by the French BFM TV, a local news network, reportedly show Abdeslam along with his friend Hamza Attou. The two looked relaxed as Abdeslam was seen walking with his hands in his pockets at the petrol station, BBC reported
Abdeslam is believed to have called his two friends
14 to come and pick him up and take him to Belgium
who later dropped off Abdeslam in the district of Laeken in Brussels
while the 26-year-old suspect is still on the run
Investigators believe that Abdeslam played a role in providing logistics to the attackers and also hired cars that were used by the terrorists
several coordinated shootings and suicide bombings in the French capital claimed the lives of 130 people
Abdeslam's images surface just days after a Belgian prosecutor said that a fingerprint of the fugitive was found at an apartment raided by police on Dec
Federal prosecutor Eric Van der Sypt reportedly said that the residence may have been used by Abdeslam as a hideout and also served as a bomb factory for the Paris attacks
Police have conducted a massive manhunt for Abdeslam
who according to many reports may have fled to ISIS-stronghold Syria
Several people have been arrested and charged for helping Abdeslam enter Belgium after the Paris attacks
