BYD is now introducing its range of electric vans and trucks to the Hungarian market
These include the ETP3 van and the ETM6 truck
which can be ordered there now and are scheduled for delivery in 2022
Sales in Hungary will be handled by the partner Eurotrade
which Eurotrade will handle via its three main locations in Szombathely
The ETP3 is a small van derived from a passenger car van
The 4.46-metre-long ETP3 has an unladen weight of 1.7 tonnes and a payload of 720 kilograms
The range with the 50.3 kWh NMC battery is supposed to be 269 kilometres in the combined WLTP cycle
in the city up to 310 kilometres are possible – with a full load both values should drop significantly
The battery is charged with up to 40 kW via a CCS connection; a full charge to 100 per cent should then take 1.5 hours
The electric motor has a maximum output of 100 kW
The 7.5-tonne truck offers a payload of 3,990 kilograms
the 7.5-tonne truck relies on an LFPÜ battery with an installed capacity of 126 kWh
The battery is supposed to be able to be charged with up to 120 kW DC
the battery will be full even faster than the one from the ETP3
“There is exciting market potential for our all-electric
zero-emission BYD eTrucks in Hungary at a time when the world is coming together to tackle climate change,” says Isbrand Ho
“BYD is committed to playing an active role in helping commercial transport make a smooth transition to clean

The number of patients with coronavirus has increased at the neurology department of the Hungarian Defence Forces Medical Centre (Honvédkórház)
The news on the medical institution’s website did not mention this either in September or October
referring to the Facebook post of health expert Zsombor Kunetz
Four other hospitals have been designated to treat the patients
The following hospitals have been designated for adult patients requiring active neurological inpatient specialist care:
the neurology department of the Defence Hospital had a “cumulative outbreak of Covid-19 infection” among patients
and therefore the admission of patients requiring general neurological care was cancelled until the epidemiological measures were lifted
Care for stroke patients will continue to be provided in an eight-bed intensive care unit
“Neither the National Centre for Public Health nor the Honvédkórház was too quick to announce the closure,” wrote Zsombor Kunetz
the pandemic has been going on for almost three years now
and the same clichés and unimaginative solutions have been chosen as three years ago
the Honvédkórház would be able to deal with this issue at least at the level of the 20th century
There are military hospital tents and containers that can be set up in hours to isolate patients
the buildings of the old pavilion system are still there on the site
