sampai akhir tahun2003 diperkirakan baru selesai sepanjang dua kilometer
sedangkan Depkimpraswil akanmelaksanakan pembangunan fisiknya
Diajuga menginformasikan pelaksanaan pembangunan BKT dimulai sejak tanggal 6November 2003

Jakarta - Jakarta's fresh water distributors - PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) and Aetra Air Jakarta - has assured that Jakarta's fresh water supply remains adequate despite the dry season
"Water supplies from Jatiluhur Dam is still normal
so there has been no disruptions to distribution for the time being," said Aetra Air Jakarta's Corporate Secretary
Jatiluhur Dam is still flowing at a rate of 9,000 litres per second (lps)
Before the water is distributed to homes in Jakarta
it is processed at two separate plants - one in Buaran
which has the capacity to handle 4,000 lps
"We hope that the water rate flow does not dip below 9,000 lps
because it will allow us to distribute water to homes across our service area without any problems," said Adi
Adi urges residents to limit their water use ahead of the peak of the dry season - which will allow the company to build up their water reserves to be used when a drought situation emerges
the dry season has yet to impact our fresh water supplies - that said
residents should still make an effort to conserve water," said Adi
Representatives for Palyja concurs with Aetra
saying that water supply from Jatiluhur and the West Flood Canal (BKB) is still averaging at normal
Jatiluhur Dam still supplies around 5,600-6,000 lps to Palyja to be processed and distributed
"Our supply levels are not much different compared to last years - in fact
we hope that this year will be better because we are receiving an additional 550 lps from BKB," said Palyja's Corporate Head for Communications and Social Responsibilities

inaugurated the PAM Jaya Corporate Learning Center at the Buaran Kalimalang Water Treatment Plant (IPA) Building
The inauguration was marked by pressing the siren button with PAM Jaya Managing Director
Mutmainah; Jakarta DPRD Commission B Secretary
the existence of the PAM Jaya Corporate Training Center was expected to produce quality human resources
PAM Jaya would later become a world-class BUMD company that could meet the need for clean water throughout Jakarta and its surrounding areas
"We have a long-term master plan that must be worked on in stages
We're coordinating with the Ministry of Public Works for the supply of raw water," he expressed
BUMDs in Jakarta have Corporate Training Centers like PAM Jaya
they would be able to synergize with the Education Agency
all employees in Jakarta have at least 40 hours a year to study
there is currently a Jakarta Corporate University
He hoped that PAM Jaya could prepare professional instructors to produce quality human resources in the Corporate Training Center by collaborating with qualified professionals and former employees
the composition must include more professionals," he stated
Arief Nasrudin explained the construction of the Corporate Learning Center at the BPO (Buaran Project Office) was to support the development and ensure that PAM Jaya employees were competent in serving the residents of Jakarta
the PAM Jaya Corporate Learning Center was built on November 9
using an old building covering an area of 1,200 square meters
The building was renovated and divided into six training rooms
"PAM Jaya Corporate Learning Center is a corporate learning center supported by advanced multimedia technology
This facility is capable of supporting offline training activities for 325 participants simultaneously," he expressed
He also presented 30 guests from PAM Jaya Batch 1 management trainee (MT) candidates who had been screened from 4,000 participants who applied
They had gone through six strict selection stages
and assessment of core competency or suitability with PAM Jaya
the party held a Leadership Development Program for the company internally
This step aims to realize the mandate given by the Jakarta Government to achieve the target of 100 percent service coverage and a total number of home connections of two million customers by 2030
In the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia's Economic Development (MP3EI) document
it is stated that on Indonesia's 100th Independence Day
it is predicted that Indonesia will become one of the seven economic powers in the world

Connecting decision makers to a dynamic network of information
Bloomberg quickly and accurately delivers business and financial information
Parts of Jakarta are subsiding at unprecedented speed
The longshot fix rests with noodle billionaire Anthoni Salim
By Sheryl Tian Tong Lee and Grace Sihombing
The city has until 2030 to figure out a solution
or it will be too late to hold back the Java Sea
Cue Anthoni Salim, the billionaire owner of PT Air Bersih Jakarta
the firm tapped by the government to expand piped water access to the city’s 11 million residents immediately
one in three Jakartans doesn’t have access to piped water
relying instead on the thousands of illegal wells that dot the city — and deplete the aquifers and weaken the ground
creating prime conditions for further sinking
If Salim’s ABJ can help deliver on the plan to bring water to every Jakarta household
experts say the city has a chance — and the company will rake in billions of dollars
it’s likely that chaos will reign in the world’s second-biggest metropolis
combined with intensifying storms and rising sea levels
will be more than Jakarta’s seawalls can withstand
a flood expert at Dutch water research institute Deltares: “There will be so much sea water rushing in
For Salim, who didn’t respond to requests for comment for this story, it’s been a long time coming. He’s amassed more than $10 billion through a handful of industries
including one of the world’s biggest instant-noodle makers
but controlling the capital’s water supply has been a personal priority since a revolution almost dismantled his family’s conglomerate 25 years ago
When the government sought bids to revamp the city’s water infrastructure
Salim’s was one of two companies to raise its hand
Jakarta’s maybe-savior was born in 1949, the youngest son of China-born tycoon Sudono Salim. Sudono was close with Indonesia’s ex-president Suharto, one of the most self-enriching dictators in history, according to the German nonprofit Transparency International
Salim Group had hundreds of affiliated companies
As a teenager, Anthoni Salim often accompanied his father on factory visits, according to a biography of the family
he returned to Jakarta to work with his father
while Suharto’s son Sigit Harjojudanto and British company Thames Water Ltd got the other
Suez sold its stake to a private equity firm in 2017 after investing more than 2.2 trillion rupiah ($130 million) to improve Jakarta’s water infrastructure
Moya bought it — a shark swallowing a whale
but Salim had regained control of half of Jakarta’s waterworks
the company will spend some $1.7 billion to build a treatment plant
The state utility PAM Jaya will pay ABJ for the water
and infrastructure in installments as they are built
may run out of money by April if shareholders don't inject more equity
A Thames Water spokesperson said its financial position is “robust” and its shareholders are supportive
But Jakarta doesn’t have enough money to manage the water system alone
“Not only to help operate the water treatment plants
With surface water largely contaminated by sewage
Jakarta buys most of its raw water from outside the city
then distributed through a network of pipes
It leaks — some 40% of the water is lost along the way — and much of what’s left is is re-contaminated as it flows through the system
Even those with access to piped water sometimes prefer tapping the illegal wells instead of paying PAM Jaya for water that isn’t drinkable anyway
The Jakarta city government was going to invest 11 trillion rupiah into building new water distribution pipes
but that plan fell apart early on into the pandemic
The financial burden is an ongoing concern for PAM Jaya
which is pushing the government to raise rates
Because piped water isn’t universal and reliable
and water tariffs haven’t been raised in more than 15 years
Critics say the deal enriches Salim without solving Jakarta’s most pressing water problems
ABJ took the easier piece: water treatment; and saddled PAM Jaya with the difficult one: distribution and bill collection
a doctoral candidate at SOAS University of London
ABJ’s water will continue to run through leaky
contaminated pipes until the city overhauls its pipe network
Then there’s still the hurdle of convincing households and developers to switch from groundwater to piped water
Irawan says reducing water loss is a top priority
and it’s enlisted consultants for recommendations
“it’s just committing to buy water without knowing whether it can reach the customer,” Dhar says
and at least 40% of it will be wasted expenditure.”
not far from the shiny new luxury developments along Jakarta Bay
Thousands of families are crammed into homes with metal roofs and concrete walls
separated by alleyways just wide enough for the motorbikes that snake through
As in many other poor neighborhoods of Jakarta
few households here have access to piped water or the money to dig deep enough for groundwater
is drawing water from a hole in the ground
She uses her hands to scoop a handful of brown water from her bucket
Sugiarti and her neighbors have been pleading with PAM Jaya to build water connections directly to their houses
sellers offer water by the barrel and each cubic meter can go for 200,000 rupiah —30 times the price of piped water
PAM Jaya sends water trucks to dispense emergency water to residents in the area
Sugiarti supplements the contaminated groundwater from her shallow well with piped water from a neighbor
spending a quarter of her 2 million rupiah monthly cleaner’s salary on water for her family of four
piping water to communities like hers makes good business sense
The utility’s ability to provide higher quality piped water at a far cheaper rate would all but guarantee millions of new customers once they’re connected
“We just want to have clean water to flow in our homes,” Sugiarti says
“We have been waiting and voicing it for too long
Until then, Sugiarti and others like her will manage as best they can. If nothing changes, the land she’s standing on now could be underwater by 2030. —With Harry Suhartono, Pui Gwen Yeung and Anders Melin

The construction of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Penjaringan City Forest
It is targeted the construction to complete in 1.5 years
It is hoped the WTP will be able to reduce the water consumption deficit which reaches 3,800-9,000 liters/second
The management will be handled by PT Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo (JUP)
WTP will take water from West Flood Canal (KBB)
It is hoped the water consumption deficit can be reduced by 500 liters/second
water quality will be better because we involved experienced partner,” he said Thursday (9/15)
the construction investment reaches Rp 113 billion
The construction will be divided into two stages
First stage is producing 200 liters/second in nine months and 300 liters/second in six months
“We must produce 200 liters in June 2017 and it must be completed fully in December,” he added
The treated water will be supplied by PT Palyja
admitted there are seven WTPs have been built in Jakarta
“It is hoped the additional WTP will add the water stock and able to reduce water theft,” he stated
