Meski sagu jadi makanan pokok sejak dahulu

Minta 100 hektare lahan sagu kami jadikan pusat riset Unkhair,” ujar Lily

Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Ir Hamli ME
when presenting his material on national insight to new students at Graha Ten November ITS
ITS Campus, ITS News – To further foster a sense of nationalism for new students (maba) in the Heroes Campus, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) invited the former Director of Prevention, Deputy for Prevention, Protection, and Deradicalization of the National Terrorist Countermeasures Agency (BNPT) RI Inspector General Pol (Ret.) Ir Hamli ME
He was here to equip ITS first-year students about national insight on the third day of Spiritual and Nationality Training (PSB)
who currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Countering Extremism and Terrorism (BPET) of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI)
revealed that terrorism has existed in Indonesia since the Old Order to the New Order
the Indonesian Islamic State (NII) group later transformed into a jihadist group during the New Order
the arrest of terrorists during the New Order era differed from the current period
where it was necessary to implement intelligence operations in the past
Hamli quoted the results of research from the 2019 Indonesia Millenial Report
19.5 percent of millennials stated that Indonesia was more ideal to be a caliphate country
ITS new students are listening to the explanation of Inspector General Pol (Ret.) Ir Hamli ME telling his experience while on duty
This is indeed disturbing and has the potential to lead to radicalism
it is necessary to take steps to understand the introduction of this potential
“Because terrorist groups usually think nationalism is haram and contrary to religion,” he added
Hamli said this potential could be seen from the spread of radicalism narratives surrounding the community
the description can lead to acts of terrorism
It can be in the form of records about intolerance related to religious sentiments
Hamli continued that a person exposed to radicalism can be seen from the three domains of changing their behavior
Namely by paying attention to their social relations
The changes can be divided into three degrees of hazard intensity to indicate a person’s exposure
the behavior has started to show signs of extremism
but it is still in its early stages and on a small scale
Early treatment must be done so that it does not develop and become more complex
the behavior of a person or group has begun to show activeness in voicing and disseminating the understanding and activities of violent extremism
Handling at this level is essential so that it does not develop and escalate to become even more dangerous
a person’s behavior has shown signs of using violence
people with this degree will openly demand to replace the democratic system,” said the ITS Chemical Engineering alumnus
Hamli explained to fight terrorism required character qualities
The quality of character is by studying religious values and nationalism through good spiritual learning
but not leaving the insight of nationalism and nationalism
they can become moderate figures who have a nationalist sense by encouraging the values of cooperation
can be done by knowing the large groups of existing sects
Hamli advised that someone should follow what is good and safe and not follow the flow of new groups
Then the last part is a critical thinking competence that will make people not easily accept everything for granted
“This is important so that terrorist groups cannot contaminate us,” he reminded him
Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Ir Hamli ME (left) receives a souvenir from the Chief Executive of PSB 2022 Ir Arief Abdurrakhman ST MT after the presentation of the material
This explanation from Hamli attracted the enthusiasm of 1,300 new ITS students who were present on the third day of this Spiritual and National Training (PSB)
Hamli appreciated ITS’s initiative in holding this PSB for new students
This can prevent dangerous contestations from entering the campus environment
we are always healthy and in the pleasure of Allah SWT,” he concluded

Many modern government buildings with contemporary designs have come under criticism for being dull and drab
The change in administrations in Washington
in January may signal a return to President-elect Donald Trump’s previous aesthetic crusade making civic architecture beautiful again
Critics will reply as they did before: Who’s to say it’s not beautiful now
The defenders of modernism would note that Wren was speaking of England, not America. This is a nation founded on shaking off the shackles of the Old World, and we’re not building palaces for nobility. Classical had a nice run, the modernists decided. Architecture should reflect the possibilities and innovations of the 21st century.
Good points. But too many architects in the 1970s built dull dun-hued bunkers, and too many modern architects seem interested in self-amusement and cheeky transgressions, resulting in buildings that do not aim for eternity, unless you’re spending it in hell. The Twin Cities has some examples, but nothing as bad as the bunkers of the nation’s capital.
“They are generally the most important of local buildings, seen daily by thousands, who have little opportunity to feel the influence of the great architectural works in the large cities,” reported The Architect in 1918. A sample of the glorious Grand Central Station, right on your Main Street.
The Beaux Arts classical style — think the State Capitol, the St. Paul Cathedral — was the civic vernacular for other buildings as well, from train stations to banks to concert halls. This style was dated by the time the Great Depression got its claws into the culture. It looked old and fussy, a poor fit for the lean new world of machines and men who planned society from atop.
The post offices of the 1930s — many designed by private architects until the Department of the Treasury took over the job in 1937 — had two styles. The Colonial style looked back — with stately New England features including white pillars and a pediment.
The other was a stripped-down style that has been called “Starved Classical.” It had columns and carvings, but they were streamlined and abstracted. They were very much like the fascist architecture of Europe, perhaps, but lacking the cold, dominating, overbearing character.
Minneapolis’ central post office (1933, 100 S. 1st St.), which was completed in 1933 and is now known as the Martin Olaf Sabo Post Office, is a grand and glorious example of the style. It’s monumental and expresses the abilities of the state, but it’s we-the-people, not hail-the-leader. It’s intended to impress, but not intimidate. Monumental but not lavish, as fits the lean times. A sensible use of civic money that still has space for patriotic stone eagles.
Perhaps that’s the compromise style to make everyone happy. After all, modern buildings erected in the old classical style never quite get it right. They try too hard — hey, folks, look, columns! With old-style capitols! A big portico! Cupolas! They look like famous-historical-battle re-enactors.
If we have fewer contorted, asymmetrical buildings with unusual shapes. and more buildings with a sense of balance and a connection to previous cultural norms, you’ll have less outrage. You’ll have less surprise, as well, and less startling innovation. A modest design that references the traditions of our civic buildings ages better than something intent on smashing our expectations and yelling about how special it is.
Modernism has been the preferred language for civic architecture for so many decades that it’s become the tradition, and supplanting it with more classical forms is revolutionary. Transgressive, you might say.

Operasi tambang PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) di-site Moronopo
Sebagian besar lahan perkebunan warga beralih-fungsi jadi konsesi tambang
Selama sekitar 25 tahun mengeruk perut pulau
Nelayan biasa melaut lintas pulau-pulau kecil

Malaysia’s present governance challenges demand far more than charisma and political ambition.
Today, the nation faces increasingly complex problems, such as environmental sustainability, income inequality and global economic volatility.
Clearly, the present leadership development pathways are no longer fit for purpose. Political leaders often ascend through informal, party-driven mechanisms that lack rigour. These fail to systematically prepare individuals for the multifaceted responsibilities of governance.
This is where a national leadership academy (or akademi kepimpinan kebangsaan) could come into play. Such an initiative could be designed to systematically identify and train Malaysia’s most promising individuals. It could create a structured and meritocratic pathway to produce leaders to manage the country’s administration and hold high office.
Malaysia’s leadership development faces three core challenges. The pathways to leadership are fragmented and informal. Political leaders often emerge through party hierarchies, grassroots activism and corporate crossovers.
While these pathways provide opportunities for some, they ultimately lack standardisation and fail to cultivate the technical expertise required for modern governance.
Many leaders lack a connection with ordinary people. They rise to positions of power without meaningful engagement with the complexities of public policy. They are not systematically prepared for governance.
Governance requires a deep understanding of policy design, fiscal management and international diplomacy. Without structured training mechanisms, leaders often rely on a trial-and-error approach.
Such an approach could result in costly inefficiencies, delayed policy implementation and missed opportunities to effectively address pressing national challenges.
A national leadership academy could be designed to specifically address this.
The academy would function through a rigorous and meritocratic framework. Recruitment would ensure diversity while prioritising the most capable candidates.
The recruitment process would begin with a nationwide campaign targeting top university graduates, young professionals and community leaders. It could partner with academic institutions, professional bodies and NGOs to ensure a wide reach, including rural communities.
Candidates would submit detailed portfolios that include academic records and leadership experience.
Psychometric testing would assess resilience, ethical reasoning and problem-solving abilities in governance-related scenarios, such as balancing competing fiscal priorities.
The academy would recruit 20 candidates annually. Shortlisted candidates would then face panel interviews conducted by senior policymakers, academics and community leaders. These interviews would evaluate their critical thinking and public service commitment.
The academy’s 18-month curriculum would be structured to address the demands of modern governance, balancing theoretical expertise with hands-on experience. The theoretical core would include modules on public policy design, constitutional law and fiscal management.
Participants would learn policy modelling, cost-benefit analysis and impact evaluations through case studies of Malaysia’s history, such as the New Economic Policy and the “shared prosperity vision”.
Practical exposure would form a crucial part of the curriculum. Participants would undertake 12-week internships in key ministries.
The success of the Perdana fellows programme could be used as a foundation for a national leadership academy. It shows the value of pairing young talents with senior ministers for mentoring and hands-on exposure to governance. Many alumni have since emerged as influential leaders in both the public and private sectors.
A national leadership academy would build on this model, but on a much larger scale. It would institutionalise leadership development with a comprehensive curriculum, rigorous training and a clear pathway to governance. This would ensure a steady pipeline of governance-ready leaders for Malaysia’s future.
The academy would require a dedicated governance structure overseen by a council comprising representatives from the prime minister’s office, the Public Service Department and academia.
Funding would be allocated through the federal budget, with additional support from private sector partnerships and international grants.
Key performance indicators (KPIs) would measure the academy’s success, including the number of graduates placed in leadership roles, the diversity of participants, and the quality of policies influenced by alumni.
Regular audits and evaluations would ensure transparency and accountability.
The national leadership academy would be more than a training programme. It would be a systematic solution to Malaysia’s leadership challenges. It would create a new generation of leaders who are technically skilled, ethically grounded, and deeply connected to the people.
This is a transformative vision for Malaysia’s governance. Imagine a nation led by individuals prepared to tackle its most pressing challenges with expertise, empathy and integrity.
The time to act is now. Let’s build this national leadership academy and secure Malaysia’s leadership for generations to come.

the Regional Conservation Partnership Programs—we actually created those .”
Chuck Lippstreu will now lead the association
Lippstreu tells Brownfield he plans to continue building on the foundation that has been laid to support ag businesses in Michigan
“It is a time of incredible change and transition and uncertainty in our industry
