and the Banjarnegara Regency Government celebrated the official inauguration of the Coffee Learning Center in Babadan Village
The ceremony witnessed the presence of the UGM Faculty of Agriculture team
alongside representatives from BI Purwokerto and the Banjarnegara Regency Government
in a statement to reporters on Monday (Jan
highlighted that the coffee learning center is proof of UGM’s commitment to driving agricultural advancements
“This collaborative initiative between UGM
in conjunction with the farmer groups of Babadan Village–Gapoktan Sida Makmur in the Cooperative Sikopel Mitreka Satata
He further explained that the intensive assistance for coffee cultivation in Babadan Village commenced in 2008
initiated by a land conservation program sponsored by Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and guided by UGM
Activities encompassed comprehensive studies
“The suitability study conducted in 2010 revealed the Pagentan upper area
with an altitude >1000 m above sea level
as highly conducive for arabica coffee development,” he elucidated
Arabica coffee seeds became available in 2011
but some farmers neglected proper care due to the extended cultivation period of about three years
poorly maintained and dismantled plants posed challenges when coffee harvesting commenced
“The challenges arose because the land conservation program only advanced to the stage of producing coffee fruit
and the market followed what was readily available
leading to arabica coffee being undervalued compared to robusta coffee due to its high water content,” he shared
The Sida Makmur farmer group members attended a seminar event
connecting with coffee enthusiasts from Jakarta
This interaction prompted farmers to recognize the unique taste and higher value of arabica coffee compared to robusta coffee
farmers formed a business entity to manage their coffee effectively,” he added
the development of arabica coffee cultivation received support from Bank Indonesia (BI) Purwokerto through the Local Economy Development (LED) program
The objective was to conserve land and water while enhancing farmer welfare
This led to the extension of arabica coffee development into the northern part of Banjarnegara
Farmer groups began receiving seed assistance
and comprehensive training in production and marketing
Professor Taryono noted that the growth of Banjarnegara’s arabica coffee has captured the community’s interest
driving participation in the upstream and downstream sectors of the Banjarnegara arabica coffee industry
there are plans to establish a ‘Coffee School’ involving 11 coffee producer cooperatives
aiming to boost coffee yields and quality,” he revealed
BI allocated funds for constructing the Banjarnegara Coffee School facilities
and specialized equipment for coffee appreciation (cupping) and coffee laboratories.”
Chairman of Sikopel Mitreka Satata in Babadan Village
expressed optimism regarding the coffee learning center’s establishment
foreseeing improved welfare for the Babadan Village community and the broader Banjarnegara Regency
envisioning the coffee learning center as a pivotal learning hub for farmers and the Banjarnegara community
this hub will enhance human resource skills and natural resource management
contributing to the overall improvement of the Banjarnegara Regency,” he affirmed

One of the characteristics of a romance scam
is that the perpetrator avoids meeting face-to-face

showed that they did not hesitate to meet the victims
some were still spinning a myriad of fictional stories in order to take the victim’s money

the alleged perpetrators used the revelation of their real identities to convince the victim
why would I be willing to meet you on a video call
I also send photos and more,” said Faza when he asked IL to open an online loan
The same thing was done by Mohammad Iqbal Pangestu (29) when his true identity was revealed to WT (25)
WT was suspicious because Iqbal introduced himself as Ananda Resya
a name that is different from the identity on his identity card
Iqbal argued that Ananda Resya was a nickname
Eko asked about Iqbal's social media account
If I have to argue just because of the social media issue
And again Iqbal survived with that statement
Iqbal was only unmasked after he repeatedly refused to meet to discuss WT's online loan debt
which had reached tens of millions of rupiah
Iqbal cut off communication with WT at the end of January 2022
The investigation also revealed that the alleged perpetrator used dating apps and social media only as an “entry point”
they quickly switched the chat to a personal chat application
the victim is more available for communication
When the victim's smartphone is not connected to the internet
the victim can be contacted via the cellular number that has been shared

GrabFood is named as the top food delivery platform used by both merchants and users
as reported by digital research firm Snapcart
The firm conducted an online research which studied merchant and consumer perception in Indonesia.
“While a lot of research on the food delivery industry has focused on the consumer experience
we wanted to take a more holistic approach in evaluating both the state of the industry as well as the competitiveness of the major players
That is why we included a merchant survey component,” said Snapcart Chief Revenue Officer Astrid Wiliandry.
She added that the merchant and consumer experience are two sides of the same coin
and findings on the merchant front were similar to what it saw with consumers
Snapcart found that consumers used and spent more on GrabFood
merchants were also using and earning more from the platform
The research involved tier 1 and tier 2 cities in Indonesia
The survey involved 500 owners or people-in-charge of restaurants and food and beverage shops who have used food delivery platforms and more than 570 consumers who have used food delivery services
82% merchants are registered with GrabFood
28% merchants are also registered with ShopeeFood.
Merchants registered with both GrabFood and GoFood said that they get more daily income from GrabFood
Merchants usually make an average daily sales of Rp750,000 from GrabFood and Rp670,000 from GoFood.
It can be concluded that the average daily income from GrabFood is higher by 13% compared to GoFood
as these areas only recorded a 10% gap.
as merchants earn 16% more income with GrabFood.
36% of users stated that they only started using these services in the past 12 months
while 54% reported that their food delivery usage increased during the pandemic
both GrabFood and GoFood recorded almost the same score
100% of the respondents said they are both aware of GrabFood and GoFood
while only 52% are aware of ShopeeFood.
92% and 90% of respondents said they have used GrabFood and GoFood
while only 35% said that they have used ShopeeFood
54% of respondents chose GrabFood as their preferred food delivery platform
while 34% prefer GoFood and 12% prefer ShopeeFood
80% said that they have used GrabFood in the last one month
followed by GoFood (68%) and ShopeeFood (28%).
Snapcart also found the top reasons that drive users to choose one application over the other
57% mentioned promotional deals as the reason
while 35% cited the application’s user-friendliness
25% chose a particular platform because it has a cheaper delivery fee.
“We found that the top non-promo reasons for choosing a particular service came down to the variety of merchants and cuisines available
the usability of the application and the ease of getting a delivery rider,” Astrid added
The survey also considered the measures of brand love in addition to measures of utility
85% of consumers agreed that both GrabFood and GoFood are considered as the brands loved by Indonesians
Both merchants and users believe that GrabFood is more valuable as it is also available in other Southeast Asian countries
95% of surveyed merchants believe that Grab had helped businesses and entrepreneurs grow

Christians and Muslims live in good relationship
this harmonious relationship is deteriorating with the rise of intolerance and the Muslim fundamentalists
this radical fringe is active in political and media circles
come to doubt the relevance of the Islamo-Christian dialogue
Despite the rise of these acts of intolerance on the part of Muslims
the Church persists in its dialogue with Muslims
this situation pushes the Church in Indonesia to realize that dialogue is
This is not to imagine that Christians are forced to dialogue with Muslims to exist
because it is part of the mission of the Church as sacrament of the Kingdom of God
The Church is fulfilling its mission when it works with others to build the Kingdom of God in the sense of justice
reconciliation and fraternity among all men
the Catholic Church is looking for ways to build relationships with other believers
The dialogue that the Church develops is not a dialogue between religions or institutions
but between people who belong to different religions and recognize their equal human dignity
Dialogue is an encounter that becomes word
where there is mutual respect and listening
It is neither a negotiation on the content of faith
nor a debate where one seeks to score points
It is a deep attitude marked by the desire to meet the other in its difference
it is rooted in his faith in God who has taken the initiative of dialogue with humanity himself
Building this type of dialogue is not an easy task
Muslims and all other religions in our region share the same cultural root
In this case the Javanese culture influenced by Hinduism
This culture can serve interreligious dialogue
He uses this art to build dialogue with non-Christians and
The “Wayang” or shadow theater is a popular show in Indonesia
On the island of Java have developed several variants of shadow theater
The most popular form is the Wayang Kulit Purwa from Central Java
Puppets are usually made from buffalo skin added on horn sticks
who plays with light to modulate the shadows of his figures
The performances of Wayang Kulit Purwa are invariably based on the adaptations of the Indian Sanskrit epics
Father Handi plays the role of master puppeteer (dalang)
The dalang is at the same time the storyteller
the mouthpiece of all the protagonists and the puppeteer
The dalang must know the manual and vocal techniques that will allow him to make his puppets live
The dalang must then master the Javanese orchestra (gamelan) since he is the conductor
A wayang kulit show is worn by Javanese music (gamelan) and singers
The particularity of the Wayang of Father Handi is found in the story of the dalang (i.e
He uses the wayang as a means to do catechism
Instead of telling the story of the epic of Ramayana or Mahabharata
Father Handi uses the wayang to present the biblical stories
Father Handi’s puppets are biblical characters from the Old and New Testaments
Father Handi is not the first to have had this idea
This type of wayang has existed for several decades
Wayang wahu is wayang that interprets biblical history (revelation)
They are neighbors and neighbors of the presbytery of the parish of Father Handi
Father Handi invited the local residents to learn how to play gamelan
They then formed an orchestra group to which he gave the name “hamangun sih”
a Javanese name meaning “to build charity”
The relationship with non-Christians is woven and
Another dialogue was built between Father Handi and the artist who draw the puppets
Father Handi commissioned the making of the puppets of the biblical characters
discussions take place between the painters and Father Handi
the craftsmen must know the episodes of their life
The exchanges focus on the aesthetic and artistic aspect of the puppets
the discussions are also of theological order
the puppets must show the physics of the character
Father Handi had to explain the character of these characters in detail
It is on this basis that craftsmen perform puppets
Father Handi’s troupe has played a few times in most of the parishes of the diocese and elsewhere
The non-Christians perfectly know that the Wayang Wahyu is a sort of catechism
many non-Christian spectators attend the performances and appreciate them
The members of the troupe who are not Christians do not see
any obstacle to take part in this collaboration
Even if they do not convert to Christianity
they can then give testimonies among their relatives of their relationship with Christians
Father Handi’s work with his Wayang Wahyu group is not decisive for national interreligious dialogue
he can be a source of inspiration thanks to the way he uses Javanese culture to build the relationship between members of different faiths
