The Brebes Livestock and Animal Health Office is making significant strides in advancing the cultivation of Jabres cattle
In collaboration with the UGM Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and PT Indo Prima Beef
the office has successfully produced high-quality Jabres cattle
The endeavor to enhance the quality of Jabres cattle
involves cooperation with the Ungaran Artificial Insemination Center concerning frozen semen sourced from adult cattle
This entails the joint collection of male sperm to be utilized as frozen semen or straws
“Expanding the production of Jabres cattle in Central Java now involves PT Indo Prima and UGM
an acronym derived from Javanese Brebes cattle
is a distinctive local livestock asset cultivated by the people of Brebes for generations,” explained Ismu Subroto
ongoing research on Jabres cattle aims to generate young and breeding cattle spanning both genders
Working alongside the Ungaran Artificial Insemination Center
Subroto added that the expansion of Jabres cattle also engages the collaboration of the UGM Faculty of Animal Science
These grass seedlings are strategically planted in critical areas and on the slopes of Mount Slamet
serving as valuable livestock feed while contributing to erosion prevention through the root systems of umami grass
“This serves as an alternative to prevent erosion on the mountain slopes
where most areas are currently cultivated for potato gardens,” clarified the UGM Faculty of Veterinary Medicine alumnus
Subroto highlighted the remarkable productivity of umami grass
producing 60 to 80 tons per hectare compared to the average of 40 tons per hectare from conventional grass
the Jabres cattle population in Maribaya has reached 151
with an additional 16 thousand scattered across six sub-districts—Salem
and Banjarharjo—making Bantar Kawung the primary source of Jabres cattle

which sells its bottled water under the Cleo Pure Water brand
is eager to expand its manufacturing and distribution networks across the Archipelago
conducted its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange earlier this year
Nio Eko Susilo, Director of Operations at Sariguna Primatirta
said the company will boost investment in order to expand its business
With three new factories expected to come online within the next eight months
the company will have the most factories among domestic bottled water producers
He added the company has two key principals principles: (1) the production of high-quality bottled water and (2) easy access for the consumer (to Cleo products)
it is important to expand the manufacturing and distribution networks across the country
The location of the three new factories are Ungaran (Central Java)
The Ungaran and Kendari plants are expected to become operational in 2017
while the Ngoro plant is expected to start production by April 2018
The construction of the Ungaran and Kendari plants has actually already been completed
both plants cannot become operational yet because they still need to obtain the Indonesian National Standard (abbreviated SNI) certification as well as distribution licenses
Sariguna Primatirta has also been focusing on expanding production capacity of its existing 26,000 m2 plant in Pandaan (East Java) by adding new machines (plastic packaging and filler machines)
said the company will consistently invest each year in order to meet consumers' demand across the Indonesian Archipelago
Such business expansion is the company's effort to maximize the utilization of funds that were obtained through the IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange earlier this year
She added that with more factories becoming operational Sariguna Primatirta will become the only premium bottled water producer in Indonesia that can compete with foreign counterparts that currently control 80 percent of the Indonesian bottled water market
In full-year 2017 Sariguna Primatirta targets to see a 10 percent (y/y) rise in profit to IDR 47 billion (approx
USD $3.5 million) as Indonesian consumers' demand for bottled water is expected to rise 11.5 percent each year
On Tuesday (15/08) shares of Sariguna Primatirta rose 2.59 percent to IDR 476 a piece
the company's shares have surged 47.85 percent

Jakarta and major cities in West Java were hit by a massive electricity blackout on Sunday due to a problem with a transmission system on Java Island
state-run utility company Perusahaan Listrik Negara said in a statement
PLN said the Ungaran and Pemalang high-voltage transmission facilities that carry power from plants in the eastern part of Java Island broke down
This caused the Suralaya and Cilegon powerplants in Banten
which supply Jakarta and another 15 cities in West Java
Made said the blackout in West Java affected Bandung
The blackout caused distress in Jakarta when four trains of the mass rapid transit system came to a standstill underground
while nonfunctioning traffic lights resulted in traffic congestion.
"We deeply apologize for the problems we caused
We are currently working hard to return everything to normal," PLN spokesman I Made Suprateka said.
Made said six of the seven gas turbines at the Suralaya powerplant had to be shut down after experiencing problems
The seventh was off when the blackout occurred.
He said PLN has managed to source power from backup plants and that the network would hopefully return to normal soon.
Kereta Commuter Indonesia said the blackout affected all commuter trains in the greater Jakarta area.
KCI spokeswoman Anne Purba said the company assisted passengers to get off trains
"We are getting in touch with related parties to resolve this problem as soon as possible," she said.
the company that operates the city's mas rapid transit system
said it had managed to safely evacuate all passengers from the trains halted underground
has become the 64th entity to be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this year with the market identifier code RSCH
following its successful initial public offering (IPO) that raised Rp 60.95 billion in fresh capital
announced that the funds generated from the IPO will be allocated towards the construction of a new hospital in Demak and the acquisition of new medical equipment
"We will allocate 40 percent of the IPO proceeds to complete the construction of our hospital in Demak
which is currently at 85 percent completion," Junianto said
"The new hospital is being built on a 17,000-square meter plot
and we are confident that it will become the largest and best-equipped hospital in Central Java," he added
In contrast to competing hospital chains that primarily focus on major cities
Charlie Hospital is strategically expanding its operations in second-tier cities within Central Java
Central Java holds significant potential for growth
We have also acquired land in Ungaran for the construction of another hospital within the next five years," Junianto said

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - University of Indonesia's (UI) security and intelligence analyst Ridlwan Habib said there was something odd about Sunday's massive blackout in most of Java
He believed that what happened was not a coincidence.
Hopefully this was just [caused by] human error—but I doubt it," he told Tempo on Monday
Ridlwan said it is strange how a transmission disturbance at the Ungaran-Pemalang (Central Java) Extra High Voltage Air Duct happened at the same time with the disruption at the Suralaya steam power plan in West Java.
"It is hard to explain if you call it a coincidence," he remarked.
He believed the blackout must be investigated
could be done by hacking PLN's operating systems.
He said that hackers could break into officials or electricity staffers' emails and phones and take control over their digital equipment.
So what they can do is attack the system through the employees," he said.

Indonesian Muslim clerics who claim to be protecting women by backing an anti-pornography law have come out in defense of a preacher who has married a 12-year-old village girl
The issue of child brides for religious men has became a subject of national debate since cleric Pujianto Cahyo Widiyanto
married junior high school student Lutfiana Ulfa in August
His case went virtually unnoticed until Muslim conservatives started lobbying parliament to pass a new anti-pornography bill that was opposed by a broad spectrum of civil society groups and non-Muslims
the law criminalizes all movements and works
deemed obscene and capable of violating public morality
“These clerics are hypocrites,” said lawmaker Said Abdullah
a member of the Democratic Party of Struggle of former president Megawati Sukarnoputri
“They say the anti-porn law will protect young women
but yet they dehumanize them by marrying underage girls and supporting child marriage.”
Widiyanto could face 15 years’ jail for having sex with a minor
He openly talks about his love of pubescent girls and has plans to marry more
The girls like me and their parents have given their blessings,” Detikcom news Web site quoted him as saying
And no one should interfere because child brides are allowed under Islam
according to Muslims such as Hilman Rosyad Syihab
the deputy head of the Islam-based Prosperous Justice Party
He said Islam allowed marriage regardless of whether a girl had reached sexual maturity
“But the husband can only have sex with her once she reaches puberty,” he said
which sets 16 as the minimum marriage age for women and 18 as the age of consent
The issue highlights the battle in Indonesia between the law of the land
debated and passed in a democratic parliament
and the law of God as defined by Islamic leaders
Child Protection Commission head Seto Mulyadi said there were “thousands of cases like Widiyanto’s” in Indonesia
There must be stronger law enforcement to stop these cases,” he said
a senior member of the country’s highest Islamic body
The couple’s marriage is still valid,” he said
the principal of a Muslim boarding school in Semarang
reportedly plans to marry two other girls aged nine and seven
Forced to act only after his case hit the headlines
the police are now investigating him for possible breaches of the 2002 child protection law
which covers forcing or trading a child into sex and marrying a minor
Care Foundation Indonesia director Saiful Hadi said child marriages were typically rural affairs
sealed in unofficial religious ceremonies not recognized by the state
The groom is “almost always someone religious,” he said
“Often they manage or teach at religious boarding schools and find wives from their pool of female students
so the girls’ parents can’t say no to their proposals,” Hadi said
The girls usually have no say in the matter
Most are sold by their impoverished parents or given away to ease the burden on their families
“The girls’ families are usually poor,” Hadi said
“Every sub-district has a religious affairs department that oversees marriages
Simply demote or sack officials who allow child marriages to take place,” he said
are at their wit's end trying to save the Molites from their star
currently in the process of going supernova
The Molites still believe their planet wants them to stay and die with it
The Ungaran (species of legendary Green Lantern Abin Sur) rescue ship has been badly damaged
and the captain's daughter is bleeding out
Or will the Molites go extinct with the death of their planet
will the two Green Lanterns be able to get paying jobs back on Earth
Tim Seeley is already proving to have a talent which Sam Humphries possessed with Green Lanterns: the ability to put forth some really cheesy over-sincerity that works because of how charming the characters are
Simon and Jess both say some inspirational things which would be unbearable in a comic less charming
and Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz are awesome
The Undarans and Molites are cool and adorable respectively
The Undarans are a people devoted to improving themselves
and you have some people to provide stakes to this crisis
are positioned well enough to still feel relevant to the situations the GL's are coping with
The qualities necessary to the positions the two are attempting to get are shown in their actions with the Undarans and Molites
and he gets really creative with the GL constructs
from Buddhas with butterfly nets to massive space toy car tracks
Cliquet puts together some really cool things for Simon and Jessica to create
His style seems a bit like Joe Bennett with some Mark Bagley detailing
and he takes the better parts of both styles (that's not to say he's necessarily better than either; I don't particularly like comparing artists in that way)
Hi-Fi's color work is as bright and dazzling as ever
giving some additional life and excitement to the comic
Green Lanterns continues to be a sincere and exciting superhero adventure which represents the best qualities which Rebirth brought to DC Comics
It continues to be one of my top recommendations
