A Moroccan mother and her two children died after a decorative cornice and wall collapsed on them in <a href="/topic/italy" class="body-link" data-vars-item-name="BL-4480056-/topic/italy" data-vars-event-id="c23">Italy</a>
Fouzia Taoufiq, 38, and her five-year-old son Soulaymane Hannach were crushed to death when part of a building fell on them in the town of Albizzate near <a href="/topic/milan" class="body-link" data-vars-item-name="BL-4480056-/topic/milan" data-vars-event-id="c23">Milan</a>
Mrs Taoufiq and her son died instantly when they were hit by the falling bricks at around 5.30pm on Wednesday
The mother-of-three was pushing her 15-month-old daughter Yaoucut in a stroller when the bricks and mortar fell
The young girl was pulled from the rubble and taken to a nearby hospital where she later died

A 42-year-old woman was also injured when the industrial building collapsed
A witness told <a href="https://milano.repubblica.it/cronaca/2020/06/24/news/crolla_tetto_palazzina_varesotto_si_temono_dispersi-260080098/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" class="body-link" data-vars-item-name="BL-4480056-https://milano.repubblica.it/cronaca/2020/06/24/news/crolla_tetto_palazzina_varesotto_si_temono_dispersi-260080098/" data-vars-event-id="c23">Reppublica</a> they head a noise "like an explosion" when the building fell
He said: "Across the street was the eldest son of the dead woman
"I took him to the super[market] until the dad who was at work arrived."
