It didn’t pretend women in middle management lunched without checking their bank alerts. Zuri, the protagonist, is presented bare and unabashed—her salary, family dysfunction, and keeping-up-with-the-Jones lifestyle, made public. It was revolutionary, particularly for how it spoke about money and offered advice about growing money. Since then, she has hosted a financial literacy show, The Bridge, published the follow-up book, The Smart Money Tribe, launched a podcast, The Smart Money Tribe Podcast, made a TV series The Smart Money Woman, that first aired on Africa Magic and later Netflix. There have been Smart Money events, Smart Money workshops, Smart Money TikTok videos, and Smart Money…something, something, something. “What I realise is that my own superpower is—not that I’m the smartest person when it comes to money in the world—I know how to break down the financial jargon in a way that everybody can understand,” she told Zikoko. “I feel like women are more confident now when talking to their investment advisors to say, ‘I need that.’ They’re not intimidated by the terms.” The second season of the series, which follows the women on their journey to financial freedom and men across three cities—Lagos, Johannesburg, and Cape Town—is now streaming on YouTube. Arese said she decided to share it on YouTube after failing to reach a fair exclusive deal with any international streamers. “I just thought if what I wanted wasn’t going to work out I needed the content to be seen by a bigger audience. It’s a big risk because we spent a lot of money producing it. It’s a very scary pivot,” she said. “But I think it might be the right decision because YouTube has democratised access in this economy. People don’t have a lot of money for subscription fees. [YouTube is] a platform that is free and reaches millions of people across the world. I want to take my chances with that.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Arese (@smartmoneyarese) The two episodes that have dropped have already raked in more than 500k views on the platform But there is a huge financial question that she has to answer When the second season went into production in 2022 How much AdSense will YouTube pay for her to recoup the money spent making the show and turn in some profit too “I’m not going to lie and say that I’ve figured out all the economics,” she said I’m more focused on the value that we’ve created and that the audience loves it deeply and over time Even though the Smart Money franchise has presented fresh perspectives on women’s finances the realities of the smart money women—Zuri (Osas Ighodaro) Adesuwa (Lala Akindoju) and Tami (Ini Dima-Okojie)—vacay-ing in Andrea Iyamah are shapely different from the majority of Nigerian women fighting for dear life in the thick of inflation Are we ever going to see a smart money working-class woman “We have so many stories about less privileged Nigerians and I personally wanted to take a different approach because I feel like Africa “Different people are experiencing different things and I really wanted the world to see us not just in that traditional poverty way but to know that there are also women who are struggling but but we don’t talk much about living paycheck to paycheck in the middle class.” the ladies are trying to buy real estate together Arese hopes that with it people see “the power that women can have when they collaborate to compete.” “You basically watch the girls go through different income struggles different obstacles they are facing personally I want women to go away with a sense of friendship.” Zikoko amplifies African youth culture by curating and creating smart and joyful content for young Africans and the world Subscribe to our newsletters and never miss any of the action Legendary design and enviable Italian finesse In honor of its 95th anniversary, Milanese coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera unveiled its latest creation Marking another milestone in the company's history the Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 embodies a streamlined design philosophy and enviable Italian finesse Built on a well-known mid-engine exotic, which we highly suspect is a Ferrari 488 Pista the Arese RH95 employs the chassis and drivetrain of its donor car Hence it comes powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 rated at 711 hp and 567 lb-ft of torque Power goes to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic while the run from 0-to-62 mph takes 3.0 seconds this exquisite two-seater brings the legendary Superleggera design to the modern era Highlights include the car's carbon-fiber bodywork and functional dorsal scoop atop the rear clamshell and sleek rear body contours further help this supercar stand out from the pack Other design highlights include the silver strip across the front trunk that carries over to the tail and aluminum accent treatments on the headlights and door sides sports individualized driver and passenger seating spaces A quick explainer on the naming convention: the Arese RH95 derives its name from Via per Arese the street in Milan where Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is based The 95 signifies the anniversary of the coachbuilder since its inception in 1926 Finished in Verde Pino paint with a caramel interior this Arese RH95 is the first production model out of a planned 18 The second car will feature a coat of red paint cribbed from the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione while the third car will have the blue and orange Gulf Oil livery Each bespoke model is fully customizable and takes six months to build Customers can supply the donor car or source it through Superleggera The coachbuilder offers a variety of options for exterior paint and interior materials Deliveries begin one month after the official presentation later this fall then you probably can't afford one of these chic machines READ MOREYou'll Never Guess What Car the Touring Superleggera Sciadipersia Is Based On Coach-Built: Inside the Touring Superleggera Berlinetta Lusso Touring Superleggera to Debut Ferrari-Based Berlinetta Lusso at Geneva Subscribe to our newsletters to get the latest in car news and have editor curated stories sent directly to your inbox. © 2025 MotorTrend | MOTOR TREND GROUP, LLC. Its body is mostly carbon-fibre, the front-end styling is reminiscent of the Aero 3, while the rear clamshell (with integrated, and fully-functional, dorsal scoop) is described as “sleek and quite voluptuous” by the coachbuilder.  It says the RH95’s coachwork exhibits “not a hint of the brutal faux-Le Mans-winner ‘styling’ so typical in much of the current supercar genre”, but does concedes a keen eye might spy shades of Alfa 33 Stradale in its curvy form. And yes, those are scissor doors.  Of course you can have any colour and trim combo you want. Car One is finished in ‘Verde Pino’ with silver accents and a mix of caramel, cocoa and saffron-coloured leathers for the interior. Car Two will be red with a white nose and car three will be Gulf-themed.  Performance is broadly on par with the Ferrari F8. Touring Superleggera says the RH95 makes 710bhp and 567lb ft from a V8 engine, which is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear-wheels. 0-62mph takes around three seconds and the top speed is 211mph.  We’re promised the donor car’s “active dynamics have been engineered to handle the new body loadings and specifics” and that each car will be “thoroughly tested and quality assured” before it’s delivered. The beltline, for instance, was inspired by the Disco Coupe while the nose incorporates elements first seen on the AERO 3 Read Also: Italian Coachbuilder Touring Superleggera Teases 95th Anniversary Supercar Special The “Arese RH95 reflects the stylistic features of the entire AERO line in its many distinctive elements and the cinematic openings of the exterior panels adds theatricality to a car that is art and design in motion,” said Louis de Fabribeckers is all new and it’s funneling air into the engine bay to feed that huffing V8 add a bit of drama and the carbon fiber coachwork helps limit weight Inside, Touring has used a double-cockpit concept to give the driver and the passenger their own spaces which is filled with fine materials and many personalization options Car number 1 is finished in Verde Pino with a caramel and cocoa interior, and seat facings “accented in shades of saffron.” Touring says that the second car will be painted red with white accents, a nod to the Alfa GTA racers from the ’60s, while the third will feature Gulf Oil’s historic blue and orange Touring says that it expects to make 18 examples and that construction will take about six months once it receives a donor car, which it calls a “well-known exotic.” Pricing is not outlined but the F8 Tributo (if that is indeed the Arese RH95’s donor car) costs about $280,000 from the factory and Touring’s work isn’t likely to be cheap The Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 will make its UK debut at the 2021 Salon Prive starting on September 1 Speculation about what Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has created to mark its 95th anniversary has been swirling around the Internet for a while – but take it from us this is what the Touring Arese RH95 actually looks like And Classic Driver is honoured to be able to show it to you first ahead of the official reveal at midday today Initial impressions are not only that it 'looks fast standing still' but that it promises to be as much a sports car for all seasons as it is a high-performance track weapon a decent amount of luggage space. The Arese RH95 also represents a technical milestone for the storied Italian coachbuilder as it's the first mid-engined car it has ever built Which begs the question: what's it based on Touring remains coy and has asked us not to reveal what lies beneath that beautifully formed carbon-fibre bodywork – but there are a few clues in the fact that it's rear-wheel drive and carries a V8 producing a claimed 670bhp at 8,000rpm and 760-Nm of torque at 3,000rpm.  The Arese RH95 – named after Touring's base in the Arese suburb of Milan with the 'RH' representing the initials of customer number one – is the third and latest model in Touring's acclaimed 'AERO' range which was inaugurated nine years ago with the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione-based Disco Volante Coupe. Just eight of those were made with a seven-car run of a Spyder version in 2016 followed by the AERO 3: the retro-inspired Ferrari F12-based continent-crosser that debuted at last year's Salon Prive the Arese RH95 respects the 'Superleggera' moniker by majoring on light weight hence the all-carbon bodywork. Aerodynamics are optimised too, as evinced by the AERO 3-derived grille front air 'nostrils' and that fabulous rear clamshell complete with a dorsal scoop through which forced air travels into the engine compartment and out through a rear-mounted vent Shoulder scoops also help to cool and feed the V8 while enhancing those fabulous lines that could fairly be described as 'elegantly aggressive'. Even the wheels are a particular point of interest since they’re a unique design created by Touring and brought to reality by a premium manufacturer specifically for the Arese RH95 It's anticipated that no more than 18 examples of the car will be built with each being finished to the individual buyer's personal specifications – although we're struggling to imagine a more fitting combination of paint and trim than that chosen for car number one which photographer Massimiliano Serra shot in exquisite detail beside a glittering Lake Como exclusively for Classic Driver the Verde Pino colour scheme is superbly complemented by what might be called an 'almost edible' cockpit comprising caramel and cocoa-coloured leathers with saffron-coloured seat facings will be finished in the distinctive red hue of Alfa's 8C Competizione (complete with white nose panels a la the marque's GTA racers of the '60s) while the third Arese RH95 will wear the famous Gulf Oil colours of blue and orange.  And the fact that the specifications of three cars have already been decided on is indicative that unlike the many well intentioned supercars that never make it past the render stage production of the Arese RH95 is already underway with the first due to be delivered a month from today. Further versions will take six months to build from the day Touring receives each base donor car – and every part manufactured or modified by the carrozzeria will carry an unlimited-mileage/two-year warranty with the availability of these parts being 'guaranteed for life' Such confidence in its product represents a demonstration of just how far 'bespoke' supercars have come in terms not just of driveability and usability but also in reliability and build quality. "To be feasible today a custom-built car must respect the same standards as a production car if not exceed them" says Touring Superleggera's Emanuele Bedetti. "As a result we combine computerised processing techniques and exceptionally high standards of finishing and precision with the traditional craftsmanship of coachbuilding for which Touring Superleggera is famous – our profession has a great future if it respects the engineering and quality requirements of today's automotive industry," he opines "We would describe the Arese RH95 as a car that's at the pinnacle of both sport and elegance – yes it offers exceptional performance and handling [a top speed of 340kph and a three-second 0-100kph time are quoted] but it’s also a car that can comfortably be used by two people for touring the Alps or the Riviera There’s sufficient trunk space in the front for a week's worth of luggage," adds Bedetti the Arese RH95 certainly looks like a car that's more than worthy of furthering Touring Superleggera's illustrious heritage which began with its founding in 1926 by noted designer Felice Bianchi Anderloni the house created such automotive landmarks as the Isotta Fraschini Flying Star the sublime Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 of 1937 and the Maserati 3500GT of 20 years later Other blue-chip models have included (of course) Aston Martin's DB4 5 and 6 and a long-running range of Ferraris while modern masterpieces range from the Gumpert Apollo-based 'Tornate' the MINI Superleggera Vision concept car and the limited-edition Touring Sciadipersia derived from Maserati's Gran Turismo. One thing we haven't told you about the Arese RH95 is the price. But they do say that “if you have to ask...” Touring unveiled its latest bespoke supercar in June the first-ever from the coachbuilder to feature an engine in the middle but what is it like to experience in the flesh One of the most interesting aspects of the car, as Harry Metcalfe puts it in his video review is that very few people will be aware of what the car is – at least until they have a peek inside the cabin Sharing no exterior panels with its donor Ferrari 488 the people you’re driving by will have nothing to judge it on but the shape and the quality And the news is good on both fronts. The shape, although it’s subjective, is certainly striking, and the quality apparently superb. With an intriguing two-tone interior and even a production-like quality engine bay it looks like the product of a much bigger Read Also: Touring Unveils Its First Mid-Engined Car, The Ferrari-Powered Arese RH95 I can’t get over on this is just the finish,” says Metcalfe it looks like huge multinational manufacturer construction This inner panel here looks completely finished.” So Touring hasn’t gone and ruined a Ferrari for the sake of adding some rarity And it hasn’t spoiled the driving experience either Power comes from a 710 hp (720 PS/529 kW) twin-turbocharged Ferrari V8 engine that makes 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque guaranteeing that the new Arese RH95 is a special car to drive With striking looks, great driving dynamics, and rarity on top of it all, it’s not hard to understand why Metcalfe is so taken with the Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 Carrozerria Touring Superleggera recently unveiled its latest creation called the Arese RH95 Built to commemorate Touring's 95th birthday Arese RH95 draws its name from Touring's HQ in Via per Arese in Milan and the initials of project Arese's 'founding patron.' Nevertheless the Arese RH95 is a breathtaking rendition of Ferrari's magnificent F8 Tributo supercar none came with scissor doors and a coachbuilt body It also happens Arese RH95 is Touring's first mid-engined creation Drawing inspiration from the Aero 3 and the unforgettable Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Arese RH95 has a mostly carbon-fiber body with intricate detailing It has an aluminum side-slash running along the car's waistline and fully functional dorsal scoop are unique to Arese RH95 the cabin cocoons the driver and passenger with premium materials and a set of bespoke seats with hand-stitched detailing The car on this page is Arese RH95 Car One finished in Verde Pino paint with silver accents and a tri-color leather interior while Car Three will arrive with Gulf-inspired livery you can specify your Arese RH95 in any color and trim imaginable Underneath that curvaceous rear end lies a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 motor with 32 valves pumping out 710 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque Power goes to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission Arese RH95 can scoot to 60 mph in three seconds flat Touring is only making 18 examples of Arese RH95 The coachbuilder claims it takes six months to finish a single unit and each vehicle will undergo rigorous testing to ensure Ferrari-levels of performance and build quality Touring has also tweaked the vehicle's active aero system to cope with the shapely new body How much? Good question. Considering a brand-new Ferrari F8 Tributo starts at around $280,000, we reckon Arese RH95 will probably cost double after all is said and done. And if you don't have a Ferrari F8 Tributo donor car don't fret: Touring Superleggera will order the vehicle for you Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year with the reveal of its first mid-engine car the car is based on the chassis of a Ferrari 488 GTB but features numerous changes to make it stand apart from its donor with the 488 GTB's 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 still delivering 661 hp here or enough for 0-62 mph acceleration in 3.0 seconds and a top speed of about 205 mph That's plenty of performance for the Arese RH95 whose designers focused more on craftsmanship and applying a retro design to a modern platform, just like they did with the similar Disco Volante and Aero 3 based on the Alfa Romeo 8C and Ferrari F12 Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 and Aero 3 Key elements include the nostril-style front grille shared with the Aero 3 an aluminum accent running down the flanks Most the body panels are made from aluminum The name of the car comes from Via per Arese the street just outside Milan where Touring (and rival coachbuilder Zagato) is based The number 95 represents this year's anniversary of the establishment of the original Touring by Felice Anderloni and Gaetano Ponzoni in 1926 while RH are the initials of the person who commissioned the first car Touring will present the Arese RH95 to the public for the first time at The Quail A Motorsports Gathering during the 2021 Monterey Car Week in August and customers will be free to supply their own chassis Touring finally launched in the United States last year with the Maserati GranTurismo-based Sciadipersia. Hopefully the Arese RH95 will also be available here, though Touring is quiet in that regard. Arese Lucini told BI: "They don't have that structure They've been around for like 6 years so they're still learning I think they get a little bit harsher criticism than what they should for being a 6-year-old company." Addressing the accusations of an ingrained sexism at Uber Arese Lucini said: "There are a lot of women who unfortunately don't come out as much Salle [Yoo] is our chief legal officer and she's been in Uber since before I joined She managed the whole women drivers initiative they don't don't get talked about as much as the other stuff." Arese Lucini said Uber needs to "grow up a little" to address its problems She said: "Travis said he's looking for a new COO I think he will need to find a leader like Sheryl Sandburg or someone with that kind of profile It doesn't have to be a woman but somebody who's been around for a while so it just needs to fix the little things." She added: "I'm not saying that everything is great at Uber Arese Lucini left Uber last year after an Italian court ordered the startup stop offering peer-to-peer rides where people could use the app to become part-time unlicensed taxi drivers using their personal car While the company continued to operate UberEATS and its licensed car hire service Arese Lucini felt it was a good time to pursue her own dream of becoming an entrepreneur "Uber made me feel a little bit like an entrepreneur because you have your own country and your managing it She is now working on a startup called Oval Money a personal finance app to help people track spending save money by automatically programming saving goals such as rounding up transactions or setting aside a certain percentage each month The product, which launches to the public in the UK and Italy next week is aimed at self-employed people and freelancers with fluctuating income Arese Lucini thinks there aren't enough products to help these people save She says: "It was inspired a little bit about what I was doing at Uber and also inspired by talking to a lot of drivers which was another really great thing about Uber — you learn to really interact with the people who use your product a lot." one of Silicon Valley's most successful startups of the late 1990s and 2000s was famous for spawning the "PayPal Mafia," a group of early employees who went on to set up and back other successful tech startups Its members include Tesla CEO Elon Musk and famed investor Peter Thiel Arese Lucini believes Uber will spawn a similar group and says she is already seeing former colleagues setting up shop She said: "I think Uber mafia will happen also a lot of stuff in very regulated industries We want to change systems that are very stiff for the benefit of the user." The gorgeous new coachbuilt supercar will be limited to just 18 examples Coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera early June unveiled how it’d transformed a run-of-the-mill Ferrari into its latest incredible bespoke creation and it represents the pinnacle of Touring’s 95 years of experience in the coachbuilding business Touring takes the body off and installs a gorgeous carbon-fibre creation of its own featuring throwback touches to classics like the Disco Volante The rear clamshell is referred to as the car’s “zenith,” because all of the lines and openings around it are hidden to maintain the flow of the body Opening up the swan doors reveals a similarly bespoke interior with almost none of the original Ferrari parts remaining A gold and tan interior scheme marks a welcome change from some of the tacky upholstery in many supercars but Touring can trim it any way the owner desires Ferrari’s twin-turbo V8 still sits behind the driver The zero-to-100-km/h sprint happens in just 3.0 seconds while the top speed is a whopping 211 miles per hour (340 km/h) Touring will be converting just 18 vehicles and a donor car must be provided by the owner it will take six months to transform the 488 into an Arese RH95 only known to those that can actually afford to have one commissioned Several past Italian and International running legends gathered in Milan on 18 October for the launch of the book “Divieto di Sosta” the biography of Italy’s middle distance great Franco Arese Arese won the 1971 European 1500m title in Helsinki and held Italian National records at all middle distances from 800m to 10,000m before working as President of the Italian Athletics Federation FIDAL from 2004 to 2012 and of ASICS Europe for 31 years until 2013 a Finnish company specialising in running and ski apparel The list of past stars who attended the book’s launch included Finnish legends Pekka Vasala and Lasse Viren former 800m world record holder and current Italian record holder Marcello Fiasconaro The fascinating which looks back into the life of Arese was written by three of Italy’s foremost athletics writers: Gianni Romeo fosuces on Arese’s childood and the start of his running career in his native region of Piedmont who was an International middle-distance runner in the 1970s and was a teammate and close friend of Arese’s on the Italian National team worked on the second part of the book which focuses on the years of Arese’s International career highlighted by his 1971 European 1500m triumph his win at the 1970 World University Games and his national records which centres on Arese’s career as President of FIDAL and his post-athletics career as President of Asics Europe A section of the book is dedicated to the atlete such as Fabrizio Donato and Antonietta Di Martino who won many international medals during Arese’s eight-year tenure as head of the federation 1972 Olympic 1500m champion Pekka Vasala paid tribute to his friend Arese “In 1972 Franco was the reigning European champion I had not won the Olympic title and I had no sponsors,” Vasala said “Before a meeting in the Bislett Stadium in Oslo Franco went to a shop to buy a pair of running shoes and gave them to me before my race I have never forgotten this gesture of generosity Today I want to give him back these shoes to express my gratitude.” This gesture represents the spirit of the close friendship between Arese and Vasala IAAF President Sebastian Coe was not able to attend the book’s launch but sent a warm message to Arese to congratulate all who contributed to the book a double Olympian and former President of FIDAL has spent his life advancing with passion the cause of athletics and I am pleased to be able to honour his contribution of our wonderful sport I am equally honoured to discover that some of my own achievements as a runner have been included in the pages of this book I wish Franco and everyone else at this august occasion a wonderful celebration of a great athlete and an era of European distance running the like of which we will never see again.” The famous Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is set to reveal a new model later this year It’s called the Arese RH95 and this is it The Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 has been leaked ahead of its formal unveiling via patent images we still don’t know which car it is based on The fact that Alfa Romeo used to be headquartered in Arese suggests that there could be an Alfa underneath that beautiful bodywork there are some telltale signs all over the exterior of the car which leads us to suspect that it might be based on an Alfa Romeo the front grille looks like a variation of the Italian brand’s iconic shield grille The vents on the sides remind us of the 4C The coach built Arese RH95 also gets butterfly doors with a glass section on the roof, an air scoop, a large diffuser and Touring Superleggera’s ‘plus’ design motif on the rear fascia. two-seater mid-engined supercar that celebrates 95 years of Touring Superleggera heritage In its design, it combines signature features of both the Disco Volante and the Aero 3 on this aggressive yet elegant machine Distinctive additional features not present on the car on which this is based are the prominent air scoop and the butterfly doors.  Touring has entirely rebodied the car in carbon fibre and even reconfigured and overhauled the cabin with that dorsal scoop described by Touring as the car’s “emblematic feature” It’s joined by a pair of prominent side scoops not dissimilar in location to those on the 488 but better integrated into the flowing shoulder line There’s a sophistication found on the other models from touring married to a curvaceousness reminiscent of 1960s sports racers like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale putting power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed “F1” dual-clutch transmission It’ll get to 62mph in three seconds flat on the way to a top speed of Oval was born not long after that All my experiences have given me something that I can use now in building my own business I also continue to benefit from a network of friends and mentors It is a bit of a cliché but my first hero was my father He was an entrepreneur and he would always take me to his office I would play with the first versions of the personal computer and sit in the spinning chair at his desk I thought this was the life I wanted for myself.  from the lawyers in Tom Clancy films to Indiana Jones and James Bond My heros today are the entrepreneurs that have made great companies: Travis Kalanic who I was fortunate to work with; Reed Hastings as I love his philosophy on culture at Netflix; and Linda Rottenberg the international not-for-profit orgnisation that supports entrepreneurs around the world I fill my life with the things I love to do: from work to travel to running and swimming I feel like we are gifted with this life and we should not waste one minute of it The people that have inspired me the most are those that have always been true to what they believe in and have never given up no matter how many struggles they have faced and those that have built something amazing I want my team to feel like they can contribute to the development of Oval with their passion and ideas I promote ownership and try to teach people not to be afraid of failure Whenever people that work for me move into new roles I do my best keep in touch with them – I am still in contact with many former employees today I want to build Oval into a leader in Europe for the democratization of finance and investing I feel I will always be an entrepreneur and I hope that my journey can inspire someone else to become one too It is a difficult road but it so fulfilling and I would love to see more young people I like to hire people who can teach me something and complement what I do My co-founders and I have a very clear set of values that we provide to everyone that joins the team I will spend time thinking about the long-term strategy of the business but cannot do this without also digging deep into the product and spending time with the users I grew up in the eighties and nineties where the jobs that were respected were being a banker or a lawyer This is great for society as they will be the founders and leaders of the major companies in the future iPhones and many other things that have revolutionised our life did not exist is crazy We need more and more founders to think of crazy ideas and to have the strength to let them grow into businesses no matter the obstacles governments and parents at home should be responsible for supporting this culture I would love to be able to teletransport myself I always feel I should be in two places at the same time so this would solve so many of my logistical issues I used to be on flights two to three times per week and passed 100 flights a year regularly I wake up before dawn and love to spend the first few hours of the day running and prepping for my work day It is like my free time for myself and my thoughts I believe 100% of what happened to me was lucky But I also believe you need to build up the skills to take advantage of this luck So for me there is no such thing as a free lunch You need to put in the hard work and effort to get what you want out of it This is for business but also for relationships in general I have always believed that I need to have a white canvas ahead of me I have lived across four continents and 11 cities Italy is always going to be my home but I think I will continue to live away from it for some time completely designed and developed from scratch during the lockdown that allows for a more seamless way of investing into a number of innovative structured products This is just another step towards our mission of making finance easier and accessible Thanks for signing up for our daily insight on the African economy We bring you daily editor Championships in Glasgow, Italian middle-distance runner Pietro Arese is counting down the days to the start of the Roma 2024 European Athletics Championships, which will be held at the Olympic Stadium and Foro Italico Park from 7 to 12 June (tickets on sale here) “The 2022 European Athletics Cross Championships in Venaria are a magical memory for me because winning a continental title just a few kilometres from home was really incredible So I think it will be doubly magical to take part in the European Athletics Championships in Rome the Eternal City,” said the 1999 Italian champion A few days before his memorable performance in the 3000m in Metz (France) Arese had set the 1500m indoor national record in Padova (Italy) later beaten by Federico Riva and Ossama Meslek “Starting the season with all these records,” said the Italian athlete but for all the other guys in the Italian national team personally breaking Gennaro Di Napoli‘s historic record gave me a unique feeling with the European Athletics Championships coming up in Rome I said to myself: “Why not try to break the 1500m outdoor record Arese is a surname that means a lot to Italian athletics former president of FIDAL and now chairman of Karhu the official supplier of technical equipment to Roma 2024 won the European 1500m title in Helsinki in 1971 as an athlete With Franco Arese we know each other and talk often It would be magical to emulate him and win gold in the Olympic Stadium,” admits Pietro This optimism also stems from the magical moment experienced by the Italian athletics team “The atmosphere in the Italian team is light and very stimulating I think this is the reason for the many positive results The cohesion among the athletes and the fact that everyone appreciates the victories of the others is a fundamental help that allowed us to win the Silesia 2023 European Athletics Team Championships I hope that the same spirit will help us to win more in June,” concludes Arese two years
