The Bianconeri remained in fourth place in a three-way tiebreaker with another crunch match coming up
Sunday night’s game between Juventus and Bologna was perhaps the biggest moment of Juve’s season
The fourth-place Bianconeri held a one-point lead over the Rossoblu headed into the contest at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara
with Lazio and Roma both in hot pursuit behind the two
A win for either side and they would be the favorites to claim the final Champions League spot over the last three games of the season
it was clear that both teams very clearly understood the stakes
It was a physical contest riddled with strong tackles and hard fouls
Juve took an early lead with a little help from some atrocious goalkeeping
but were on the bad end of a deflection at the beginning of the second half as Bologna equalized
Knowing that the Roman clubs had both won earlier in the day
but neither was able to break through for a winner
The result kept Juve in fourth place by the barest of margins
off a three-way tiebreaker with the Olimpico occupants with Bologna another point behind
setting the stage for one of the closest battles for the top four in memory — and another direct showdown looming in six days
Igor Tudor was in a bind from a selection standpoint
with big absences on both the defensive and offensive ends of his 3-4-2-1
and Lloyd Kelly were all missing due to injury
while Kenan Yildiz served the first of his two-game suspension after his red card against Monza
Nicolò Savona was drafted into the back three
Timothy Weah and Andrea Cambiaso manned the wing-back spots
flanking Khephren Thuram and Manuel Locatelli in midfield
Weston McKennie joined Nico González sitting behind Randal Kolo Muani up front
Vincenzo Italiano was missing a few players of his own
who scored the opener when the two teams met in Turin back in December
Emil Holm and Estanis Pedrola also missed out
while Santiago Castro was only fit enough for the bench
His 4-2-3-1 was anchored by Lukasz Skorupski
Remo Freuler and Lewis Ferguson played the double pivot
and Nicolò Cambiaghi supported Thijs Dallinga up front
Weah took a short corner and teed up Cambiaso in the box
but Beukema got into the shooting lane to keep his keeper clear
But Skorupski didn’t get the same support in the ninth minute
when Cambiaso carried the ball across the field and pushed the ball across for Thuram
The shot skipped right in front of the Poland international and through his hands
gifting Thuram his fourth goal in the league and Juve a 1-0 lead
Bologna tried to respond and slowly started to take control of possession
but Juve’s defense kept them from creating any true danger
In the 20th minute they came inches from doubling their lead when Cambiaso aimed a pass for the run of González
but it was fractionally too strong and the Argentine was unable to get a touch
Bologna had pushed their possession number to 64 percent
but still couldn’t find a way to penetrate the defense
The broadcast gave the impression that there was an air of inevitability as to the home side eventually equalizing
but the only time Di Gregorio had to make any decisive actions came midway through the half when Orsolini tried to pull off on Olimpico
Bologna thought they were owed a penalty on the half-hour when McKennie made contact with Freuler in the box
but referee Daniele Doveri was unimpressed
and VAR made no move to intervene despite the Rossoblu’s protests
which eventually prompted Doveri to brandish a red card at a member of Italiano’s staff
It was Juve who ended up closest to another goal when Kolo Muani flicked the ball down the middle to González
but he was clearly offside and the flag negated his finish
As the second half began it became clear that Juve was going to spend the majority of their time defending
would have — become a lot easier five minutes into the new period when Cambiaso fielded a long pass from Locatelli and rifled it in at the near post
and the semi-automated offside system eventually revealed he had been ruled offside by roughly two inches of his trailing leg
It was a position that gave him no advantage whatsoever
but IFAB’s continued refusal to update the offside rule reared its ugly head one more time to chalk off the goal
Cambiaghi beat Kalulu and lofted in a cross that was headed back across by Dalinga to Freuler
who moved past Thuram and fired a shot at close range
it certainly looked like it would’ve been saved by Di Gregorio — but Veiga had lunged in to try to block the shot and ended up catching it with the top of his shin
deflecting it away from Di Gregorio’s dive and into the net
trying to use the momentum of the equalizer to propel them to a second
but Juve’s defense again prevented any shooting opportunities
Both teams lost their left-back within a minute of each other
with Miranda injuring his leg in a tangle with Kolo Muani and Cambiaso walking off the field with some sort of muscle injury
had what might’ve been the best opportunity for a winner when Kolo Muani got around Charalampos Lykogiannis
The Greek brought Kolo Muani down in the box without getting a call
who slipped as he tried to sweep it into the net and let Skorupski easily claim the ball
Both managers continued to make moves down the stretch
and each team ended up coming close to a winner in stoppage time
Cambiaghi was on the back end of the clearance of a corner kick but saw his shot blocked
while Ferguson blasted the rebound over from short range
At the other end Douglas Luiz found Samuel Mbangula in the box with one of the last kicks of the game
but it was barely too high for him and he could only glance a header wide
Doveri blew his whistle for time seconds later
bringing an end to the match and lighting the fuse on an absolutely wild race for the last Champions League spot
Made the only save he really was asked for
while marshaling his defense and protecting his box well
Had a hard time dealing with Cambiaghi and his pace as the game wore on
as exemplified by his role in allowing the goal
he had 16 clearances as well as a pair of interceptions
Deeply unlucky on the deflection into the goal
It’s not like he should’ve stayed back and not tried to intervene
A good game from him as an emergency center-back
and was never completely outmatched by Orsolini
Had a key pass as well as a pair of tackles
but couldn’t make his speed into a factor when Juve tried to break
As dangerous a passer as Juve looked to have for long stretches
he also led the team with four tackles and added in five clearances
and he pushed the ball through the midfield well
Had the assist on the goal but was too inconsistent otherwise
and had a part to play in the equalizer when he was out-jumped by Dallinga
cause there’s not much left on the depth chart
he worked his ass off but often just didn’t have the support to fully work
Picked up a couple of tackles on the defensive end too
who had him completely smothered for much of the game
When he did find seams he couldn’t make them count
like the pass he got from Thuram in the first half that saw him whiff on a volley attempt in the box
but the way he handled his goalscoring opportunity was abominable
but otherwise didn’t have a lot of opportunities to go forward
and was bullied a bit by Bologna’s back line
Was agonizingly close to victimizing Bologna with another late goal
but should’ve been on earlier if he was going to make an impact
but didn’t get the chance to make much impact at all
Given the limited amount of options Tudor had to work with here
The rub comes with just how viable the decision to go into a shell — which is not his default — was the right decision
but there are occasions when it’s an acceptable risk
One of those occasions is when there is a deep lack of creative attackers available to you
Had Yildiz or even Koopmeiners been available
Tudor’s usual press-and-go tactics would have been a lot more viable
Like the margin between the ball skipping off the top of Renato Veiga’s shin and hitting his calf flush
or the margin between the back of Cambiaso’s trailing leg and the offside line
Tudor took a calculated risk after taking the lead
If there’s one true area of criticism for him
Obviously he was forced into replacing Cambiaso
and removing González and Locatelli from the game was a smart thing
with both of them on yellow cards and the Lazio game looming large
But to put on Mbangula and Adzic with so little time to do anything reeked of some of Max Allegri’s worst qualities
Stealing a win would’ve been incredibly valuable here
and putting on your best available assets to try to steal that win with less than four minutes left in regular time doesn’t give them any chance to do anything
Juve will head to the Stadio Olimpico to face off against Lazio on Saturday
Juve play Udinese at home and Venezia away — a much simpler run-in than some of their opponents
Juventus will face Bologna away from home on Matchday 35 of the Serie A season
This is what Coach Igor Tudor had to say ahead of the challenge against the Emilian side in today’s press conference
“The squad are motivated and ready to face an important match like tomorrow's (Sunday 4 May 2025) against Bologna
he's working hard and tomorrow he'll be able to give the team a hand
but I'm sure that those who will play will do well
No injured players will be returning for the match against the Emilian side
even [Dusan] Vlahovic is not yet 100 per cent
I had hoped to at least call him up to the squad
but whoever plays in his place will be up to the challenge and will be important for us
Tomorrow Yildiz will watch the game from the stands to be close to his teammates
“Everyone will have to make their contribution in these final four games
Everyone will have to think only of the good of the team
We have worked hard on a daily basis to prepare for this match
Bologna have a solid base that has been built up over the years and they have a free flowing approach
they are a team that run a lot and are athletically strong
Bologna's characteristics are those of an extremely physical team
difficult to face because they never give up
and in modern football physicality cancels out so much quality
Only then can our quality be used to make the difference
In my career I have never played for a draw
and I am sure that my boys will also play to win
The result of tomorrow's match will be worth a lot
The race for a Champions League spot in Serie A is getting wild and currently sees four teams divided by just one point
The 1-1 draw between Bologna and Juventus on Sunday means that Roma and Lazio are now level on points with the Bianconeri, while the Rossoblu are just one point below the top four
Third-placed Atalanta have a decent advantage over the other candidates with 68 points
Roma and Lazio have 63 points after Round 35
so they are still technically in the race for a Champions League placement
Milan sit ninth with 54 points but the Rossoneri have one game in hand
This means that if they beat Genoa away on Monday
they will go six points below the top four with three games remaining
the head-to-head record is the first criteria for dividing the teams
Serie A Round 36 will see three more crucial games in the race for that Champions League spot: Milan vs
Manager of the season will surely go to Conte – especially if he wins Serie A with a team that was so despondent and failing and lost their best players last season and Kavara half way through this season
But Ranieri at Roma should also be manager of the year after what he has done at Roma with an even ‘worse’ squad
Roma are potentially in the CL yet when Ranieri took charge they were potentially in Serie B

Looking at the opponents, however, the chances of grabbing sixth place appear slim: on the one hand, Unahotels next Sunday will host a Pistoia already relegated, Trieste receives Sassari safe for a long time and without any ambition. With the discussions for the final placement of the Reggio Emilia team archived, the spotlight is on the top of the standings to understand who could be the challenger of coach Priftis's troops.

Nicolás González thought he had doubled the Bianconeri’s lead right before half time after breaking through on goal and sliding past Skorupski
but his joy was short-lived as the strike was ruled out for offside
Juve had the ball in the net for the third time five minutes after the restart when Andrea Cambiaso rolled home
but once again the Old Lady were denied by the offside flag
And the visitors’ disappointment was compounded when Bologna levelled on 54 minutes. Nicolò Cambiaghi stood the ball up to the back post, where Thijs Dallinga nodded into the feet of Remo Freuler

but they’ve got a lot of company on 63 points after Sunday’s slate of games
Juventus knew the situation when they took the field for warmups Sunday night at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara
With Lazio and Roma both winning earlier in the day
they needed some sort of positive result to get back into fourth place after the two Roman sides’ wins resulting in the Bianconeri dropping down into sixth before kickoff
Juventus got one of the positive results that kept them in fourth place
but not the one that had them thinking was possible after Khephren Thuram struck in the ninth minute for his fourth league goal of the season to put his team in front
And with a defense that is nowhere in the same galaxy as one that’s to be considered full strength
that lead looked wobbly for much of the next 45 minutes before Bologna tied things up through Remo Freuler’s deflected shot left Michele Di Gregorio stranded 10 minutes into the second half
It all ended up being a 1-1 draw that has my brain feeling a little bit like Juve are lucky to have gotten a point rather than dropping even more points from a winning position than they already have this season
The point in Bologna means that Juventus are still in fourth place — barely
There are now three clubs sitting on 63 points
with Juventus ahead of Roma and Lazio on goal differential
With Roma continuing to work their magic under Claudio Ranieri and Lazio hosting Juve next weekend
things are bound to get more and more chaotic with three matchdays to go
this could have been a massive win for Juventus’ hold on fourth place
it turned out to be a night where they created very little after Thuram — with a decent amount of help from Bologna keeper Łukasz Skorupski — gave them the lead to cap a strong opening 10 minutes to the proceedings
Juventus’ new-look attack created very little
There’s still Andrea Cambiaso barely being offside that certainly looms large
That was always going to be a problem against a Bologna side that continue to show that they get better as a game goes on
It’s a big reason why they entered Sunday night’s matchup with Juventus having recovered a league-high 17 points from a losing position this season — something that they only added to against Igor Tudor’s side that tried like hell to hold onto their 1-0 lead despite all of the possession that the home side had
But as much as Juve tried to be strong at the back and become just the second team to beat Bologna at the Dall’Ara this season
the home side’s building momentum only gave you a sinking kind of feeling
Was trying to potentially corto muso a win against a Bologna team that has developed such a reputation for late-game theatrics the right choice from Tudor
If Juve’s defense was in much better shape than it clearly is in its current state I would probably feel better about it
With how little Juve’s attack was creating
trying to grind out a win after going ahead 1-0 might have been the only way Tudor thought his team could have done it
you walk that fine line between doing things effectively and having one moment of luck going against you — like with Veiga’s blocked shot attempt not being completely successful — and things working against you
That’s what proved to be the case Sunday night
And now things are even tighter between fourth place and sixth than they were even before Matchday 35 got underway
these next three weeks are going to be much more stressful than they should have been
But this is the bed that Juventus have made for themselves
Now they have to lay in it and try and prevent the Europa League anthem from blaring at the Allianz Stadium next season
in Italy and the Central European time zone

Bologna and Juventus go head-to-head in a potentially decisive clash for Champions League qualification
as Riccardo Orsolini and Thijs Dallinga face Randal Kolo Muani and Nico Gonzalez
It kicks off at the Stadio Dall’Ara at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT
You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s four Serie A games on the Liveblog.
The race for the top four is incredibly tight
as going into this weekend there were five teams in a three-point radius
Considering if sides are level on points, their position is decided not by goal difference, but by head-to-head record
it makes this fixture all the more important

until their disappointing 0-0 draw away to Udinese saw them slide below the Bianconeri
Emil Holm and Estanis Pedrola are still out of action
with Santiago Castro again not risked from the start due to that on-going foot injury
Dallinga therefore leads the attack once more
Juventus recovered from the 1-0 defeat to Parma by beating rock bottom Monza
even though the entire second half was down to 10 men
It’s because Kenan Yildiz was shown a straight red card for elbowing an opponent
Dusan Vlahovic, Teun Koopmeiners, Federico Gatti, Lloyd Kelly, Arek Milik, Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal are injured too, so the options are limited.
Kolo Muani is therefore the only available centre-forward
with Nico Gonzalez and bizarrely Weston McKennie in support
Full-back Nicolò Savona also has to drop into the three-man defence to fill the gaps

Bologna head coach Vincenzo Italiano has warned that his side are trying to ‘make history’ when Juventus visit the Dall’Ara in Serie A on Sunday and brought up the fact that he has already got the better of the Bianconeri both as a player and as a coach
In a massive game in the fight for Champions League qualification
fifth-placed Bologna host fourth-placed Juventus on Sunday with just one point separating the two teams ahead of kick-off
Roma and Lazio sit just one point behind Bologna
while eighth-placed Fiorentina are just three points off the Champions League spots with four games left to play
Italiano is enjoying an incredibly successful first campaign in charge of Bologna
The Rossoblu are into the Coppa Italia final for the first time in over 50 years
will play in the Supercoppa Italiana for the first time ever as a result
and are now pushing for two consecutive seasons in the Champions League
Bologna had only previously featured in the preliminary rounds of the European Cup in 1964-65 before this season
All this in spite of the fact that there was a change of head coach
plus sales of high-profile players including Riccardo Calafiori and Joshua Zirkzee during the summer transfer window
“We will try to make history tomorrow as well,” Italiano said in his pre-match press conference ahead of his test against Juventus coming up on Sunday
We have to assert our strength at home though
because we’ve given everyone a hard time here
“Tomorrow could be an important day but there are still 12 points to play for
and I think we will have to fight until the final day
That means that tomorrow is an important stage in this final push
(Photo by Valerio Pennicino/Getty Images)Italiano also revealed which three of his Bologna squad will be unavailable to play against Juventus
He continued: “I beat Juve both as a player and as a coach
from the one under Lippi to all the others
Italiano was asked if his approach will change given that Dusan Vlahovic, whom he coached at Fiorentina, will be unavailable on Sunday.
He replied: “I had Dusan for six months and I continue to say that I saw a phenomenal player given what he gave me
for the goals he scored and the approach he had
The fact that he is not there tomorrow is advantageous for us
because someone like him is always dangerous
another champion to whom we must pay attention
We’ve analysed their development with the ball and we will try to be ready for every situation.”

(Photo by Alessandro Sabattini/Getty Images)Aside from the absences of Dan Ndoye
Bologna are expected to have the rest of their squad available
“Castro has been doing much better since yesterday
but he feels looser and I’ve seen him doing very well
He’s coming from a long period of not playing full games
and I’m talking in comparison to when he arrived at the beginning of the year
Santiago is coming back and Dallinga is constantly improving.”

However Tudor denied that anything was decided at Renato Dall'Ara Stadium
"There are three games left and we are still fourth
then there’s Udinese and Venezia," Tudor told DAZN
"I said before kick-off that whatever the result
one game cannot decide everything when there are so many teams crammed together in a few points."
Although the hosts controlled possession throughout
Juve created multiple significant opportunities to secure a win
Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano shared the same outlook
"There are still nine points up for grabs and that’s an enormous amount at that level of the table," he said
there are many head-to-head clashes still to be played
so whoever has the most consistent mentality and intensity will reach their objective."
Bologna are set for an exciting end to the season
starting with an away match against AC Milan
followed by a Coppa Italia final clash with the same opponents
the first meeting with Milan is in Serie A
I think we’ll be very concentrated and it won’t distract us ahead of the Coppa Italia," Italiano said
Igor Tudor’s thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s away game against fifth place Bologna
As the 2024-25 season winds down, Juventus — whose future remains uncertain
both with regard to securing a Champions League spot and retaining the services of interim coach Igor Tudor — prepare to face off in a key clash against Bologna on Sunday night
which will be played away at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara
as Juventus sit just one point ahead of the Emilian side in fourth place
and only two ahead of sixth and seventh place Roma and Lazio
Tudor also spoke about the club’s injury woes
a problem he certainly inherited from the Thiago Motta era
with Pierre Kalulu and Renato Veiga being the only two senior options at centre back ahead of Sunday night’s game
After asserting that “the squad are motivated and ready to face an important match like tomorrow’s match against Bologna,” Tudor provided an update on the injury list and potential remedies for it
he’s working hard and tomorrow he’ll be able to give the team a hand,” Tudor said
but I’m sure that those who will play will do well
Tudor also noted that the club’s injury problems extend to attack
with both Dusan Vlahovic and Teun Koopmeiners out injured and will miss the trip to Bologna
and Kenan Yildiz facing a two-match ban after being sent off with a red card against Monza last weekend
“No injured players will be returning for the match against the Emilian side,” Tudor said
Yildiz will watch the game from the stands to be close to his teammates.”
he also asserted that “everyone will have to make their contribution in these final four games
Everyone will have to think only of the good of the team.”
Tudor also spoke about their tactics going into the game
emphasizing that his team must be physical to compete with the ‘athletically strong’ Bologna
“Bologna have a solid base that has been built up over the years and they have a free flowing approach,” Tudor said
Bologna’s characteristics are those of an extremely physical team
Only then can our quality be used to make the difference.”
as the season enters its final stages and becomes increasingly defined by points
Tudor asserted that “you cannot play for a draw
The result of tomorrow’s match will be worth a lot

the exhibition aims to explore how context changes the meaning of an object
already the protagonist of a previous garage BENTIVOGLIO event
is now welcomed in a new space of the palace with an exhibition that questions the value and perception of art objects
from the palace’s private collection
becomes a tool to examine the transformation of the meaning and value attributed to artifacts depending on the environment in which they are placed
The exhibition is based on an elementary observation: a plate observed in the domestic setting takes on a different meaning than when it is displayed in a shop window
The return of the object to its original location thus occurs laden with new layers of meaning
enriched by an experience involving confrontation with the other and change of context
Piero Fornasetti recounts the artist’s irrepressible impulse to decorate any available surface
The exhibition highlights Fornasetti’s unstoppable creativity
where production efficiency tends to reduce processing time to a minimum
His style represents an overcoming of fashions
projecting toward an idea of decoration that ideally still extends to surfaces that are still virgin
the interior collection directly confronts Fornasetti’s ability to give new life to objects through the decorative gesture
I hate decorum! Piero Fornasetti will be on view from May 17 to June 21, 2025 at Palazzo Bentivoglio, Via del Borgo di San Pietro 1, Bologna. The exhibition will be open Wednesday through Saturday, 12 noon to 7 p.m., with free admission. More information is available at the official website www.palazzobentivoglio.org.
Thuram's early goal was cancelled out by Remo Freuler's second-half equalizer as the two clubs chasing a top four finish battled it out inside the jam-packed Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Sunday
It looks like the writing is on the wall for FC Porto loanee Francisco Conceicao
who was overlooked to replace suspended attacker Kenan Yildiz
AC Milan and AS Roma are now interested in the Portuguese winger
The ever industrious Weston McKennie was took over Yildiz's role
while Nicolo Savona dropped in the back three line-up as the visitors only had two fit center-backs
With Juve having dropped down the Serie A table to sixth following victories on Sunday for AS Roma and Lazio
it was no surprise that they burst out the traps from kick-off
who is on the summer transfer radar of Liverpool and Manchester City
flicked the ball to unmarked Thuram whose long-range drive was mishandled by 'keeper Lukasz Skorupski to earn Juventus a ninth-minute lead
There was an uproar from Bologna fans after McKennie clumsily bundled over Freuler from behind inside the box
the ref waved on play despite penalty appeals
with a member of the Bologna technical staff sent to the stands for dissent
but Savona kept him in his pocket and headed away the biggest danger from the former Juve Primavera ace on 38 minutes
Juve were in command throughout the opening half and found the back of the net just before the interval
It was strange that the game paused for a VAR review
The delay allowed Bologna to calm their nerves
and they soared down the other end of the pitch to snatch a 54th-minute equalizer
Nicolo Cambiaghi's cross from the left flank was headed to the feet of Freuler by Thijs Dallinga
Freuler 12-yarder deflected off Renato Veiga to beat Michele Di Gregorio
Juventus substitute Alberto Costa fluffed his chance in the box
slipping as he shot in the goalmouth melee and that glaring miss almost proved costly in stoppage time
Cambiaghi had the goal at his mercy from a corner
The loose ball fell kindly for Lewis Ferguson
There is now a four-team race for to finish behind the current top three of Atalanta
Inter Milan and Napoli to secure the final Champions League berth
Tudor said at the post-match press conference: “We played a solid game
in a tough setting and on a pitch where everyone suffered
whoever has more desire and more quality will qualify for the Champions League
and I don't think it will be even after next Saturday [when Juventus visit Lazio]."

Notes: partial scores 17-34; 41-56; 56-88. Two-pointers: Scafati 20/35; Virtus 26/37. Three-pointers: 9/28; 12/23. Free throws: 20/27; 16/26. Rebounds: 33; 32.
Premise: between the first, even if cohabiting, and the penultimate - Scafati, precisely, then relegated - there should be no match. But the Campania match, until a month and a half ago, would have created more than one reason for concern for a Virtus still searching for an identity.
The black and white identity is now quite clear. And Virtus has the merit of closing the matter immediately, as cynical (and therefore stronger) teams know how to do. Scafati, who should also play with a knife between his teeth, for a remote, but real, possibility of saving himself, has only one advantage.
But it is destiny that Toko makes people talk about him even when he is not there. The Georgian has ended up in the sights of Barcelona, ready to offer him, for next year, a three-year agreement. Toko is happy in Bologna, but Barcelona is no less charming. It is difficult that the Black V can block him. Even if from now until the end of June, there will be the possibility of starting certain discussions. Precautionary rest for captain Belinelli.
Speaking of discussions: the one about the primacy remains open. To secure the first place, right on the last day, it will be necessary to beat Trapani, on Sunday, at the Segafredo Arena.
And Ivanovic? "We played seriously to win – says Dusko –, and when we are focused we do well both in front and behind. But if even one player loses concentration it is a problem for everyone. In the playoffs it will be important to always be attentive".

4 May 2025 - The Dall'Ara hosts a very tense clash between two candidates for the Champions League zone
Bologna can surpass the Juventus in the standings for the first time in history with three games to go in a 20-team championship
The rossoblù have built their European run on an exceptional home performance: 23 points since January
has not won two games in a row since March and has collected just one point in the last three away games
Be careful with set pieces: the bianconeri have conceded 42% of their goals from set pieces
and have scored only four goals (excluding penalties) in these situations
the Bolognese team is the one that has recovered the most points from a deficit (17)
a sign of mentality and persistence.
Madama is the team that has won the most Serie A matches against Bologna: 79 Juventus wins
with 53 draws and 23 Rossoblu victories completing the tally
Bologna and Juventus have drawn all of their last four Serie A matches
with both scoring in each case: they have not drawn in five consecutive matches in the top flight since 1978 and 1980
The Old Lady have remained unbeaten in their last 25 Serie A matches against the Emilians (17W
this is the longest open streak of consecutive matches without defeat in the competition; the last Rossoblu win over the Bianconeri in the tournament dates back to 26 February 2011 (0-2
The Piedmontese have scored at least one goal in each of their last 17 Serie A matches against Bologna (37 goals
already a record streak for the Bianconeri against the Rossoblu in the competition
The most frequent score in direct clashes in Serie A between Bologna and Juventus is 1-1
including three of the last six league matches between these two teams
In the last 38 matches in the second half of the season in Serie A
the Felsinei have beaten Juventus only once (2-0 away in February 2011 with a brace from Di Vaio): 15 draws and 22 Juventus victories complete the partial
The last Emilian victory in the month of May against the Turin team dates back to 24 May 1959 (4-1 at home)
Bologna and Juventus face each other on matchday 35 for the first time in history: in the 16
they have faced each other on all matchdays before today from 1 to 38
Bologna have not beaten Juventus at home in Serie A since November 29
1998 (3-0 with goals from Michele Paramatti
Giuseppe Signori and Davide Fontolan); since then
there have been 14 Juventus wins and seven draws
In the last eight matches on Emilian soil against the Rossoblu
the Old Lady has always scored at least once
Juventus have always scored in the last eight matches at home to Bologna in the league
a partial reverse in which the Rossoblu have failed to score four times
Since Igor Tudor took over the Juventus bench (matchday 30)
Juventus is the only team to have scored more than one goal from outside the area (two
Manuel Locatelli against Roma and Nicolás González against Monza); the Bianconeri have attempted 27 long-range shots in this period (like Empoli): fewer only than Lecce (37)
Bologna has conceded only six goals (like Fiorentina) from set pieces in this championship (only Napoli has done better with three); Juventus
is the team in the upper part of the table (top 10) that has scored the fewest from set pieces (just nine goals
Bologna is both the team that has had the most offensive recoveries following pressing in this championship (242)
and the team that has produced the highest interruption of the opponents' sequences (420)
and since they changed technical leadership they have put in important performances
we must assert our strength because here we have given everyone a hard time
We will do so aware of the qualities of the opponent and knowing that we are playing for Europe
We want to avoid swallowing some bitter toads: we have prepared well to go and play."
Tudor spoke as follows ahead of the match: "The team is charged and ready to face an important match like the one against Bologna
he is working hard and will be able to give a hand to his teammates
In defense there are a few players missing
but I am sure that whoever plays will play a great game
can be adapted to playing as central defenders in a three-man defense
We have not recovered any injured players ahead of the match at the "Dall'Ara"
Koopmeiners is still out and the same goes for Gatti and Vlahovic
I hoped to at least be able to call up Dusan
but whoever plays in his place will be up to the task and will be important for us
Yildiz will follow the game from the stands
Everyone will have to give their contribution in these last four games
starting with the match against the Emilians
Everyone will have to think only about the good of the team
We have worked hard on a daily basis to be ready for this match
The characteristics of Bologna are those of an extremely physical team
difficult to face because it never gives up and in modern football physicality cancels out quality
Only in this way will we be able to try to exploit our quality to make the difference
In my career I have never played for a draw and I am sure that my boys will also take the field to win
The result of tomorrow's match against Bologna will be worth a lot

The final of Coppa Italia with Milan on May 14th remains in the background (for now): better to concentrate on the promises of recovery of Castro. “I've seen him improve a lot in a couple of training sessions – Italiano gloats –. Even if he can't be in the same condition he was in before he got injured”. The feeling is that it's Dallinga's turn again, just as Ferguson senses a return to the starting lineup.
“Juve as a coach I beat them in the last game of the championship when I was in charge of Fiorentina”, the coach throws out there. It was May 21, 2022, goals by Duncan and Nico Gonzalez (today on the other side). With those three points, Viola grabbed the Conference League. A lucky premonition?

Inter Milan Get An Up-Close Look At Major Transfer Target In Serie A Clash Vs Bologna | OneFootballSempreInter.Com
Inter Milan will get an up-close look at major transfer target Sam Beukema in this evening’s Serie A clash with Bologna
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews
Inter Milan are reportedly very keen on Bologna defender Sam Beukema
The links with the Dutchman make a fair bit of sense
Inter’s need to rejuvenate their defense is no big secret
Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij have certainly been stalwarts for the Nerazzurri
But they will turn 38 and 34 next season respectively
Therefore, Inter are aiming to sign a long-term heir to that veteran duo
They want a defender who can play at the centre of the back three
ITALY – SEPTEMBER 15: Sam Beukema of Bologna FC looks onprior to the 2024 Davis Cup Finals Group Stage Bologna match between Italy and Netherlands at Unipol Arena on September 15
(Photo by Emmanuele Ciancaglini/Getty Images for ITF)
Sam Beukema is a name that has risen up Inter’s shortlist in defense
The 26-year-old joined Bologna in the summer of 2023 from AZ Alkmaar
And he has quickly become a real linchpin of their backline
under both Thiago Motta and now Vincenzo Italiano
Beukema has shown the physicality necessary to dominate his own penalty area
And at the same time, the Dutchman has the kind of technical ability in possession that’s necessary to play for a big team like Inter
Therefore, Inter are certainly keen on Beukema
Bologna would want a fee of around €25 million for the 26-year-old
Inter will have to decide whether Beukema is worth that kind of investment
And this evening will give the Nerazzurri a chance to really put the defender under a microscope

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — If you ask an Italian
almost five decades of having foreigners as pope is enough
and it is time for an Italian to return to the chair of St
the Rome-born president of the Italian bishops’ conference
is frequently mentioned as a probable candidate
The 69-year-old cardinal served as Pope Francis’ envoy for peace in Ukraine and
through his membership in the Community of Sant’Egidio
has decades of experience in serving the poor
promoting peace and engaging in ecumenical and interreligious dialogue
then-Father Zuppi was one of the Sant’Egidio members directly involved in mediating an end to the civil war in Mozambique
lists four mediators: a representative of the Italian government
the founder of the Sant’Egidio Community and Father Zuppi
he said that growing up he’d think how great it would be just once to have a new coat
but his large family “is where I learned to share.”
He also told those students that although his parents were very religious
he was not that interested until he encountered the Sant’Egidio Community “and I began to understand the Gospel in a more living and personal way.”
more than a year after Russia’s large-scale evasion of Ukraine
Pope Francis tapped him to lead a mission “to help ease tensions in the conflict in Ukraine.” In that role
the cardinal met in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
in Moscow with Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and with Yury Ushakov
President Joe Biden and in Beijing with Li Hui
China’s special representative for Eurasian affairs
most of Cardinal Zuppi’s meetings focused on practical humanitarian issues
including the exchange of prisoners of war and the return of thousands of Ukrainian children forcibly taken to Russia
As president of the Italian bishops’ conference
Cardinal Zuppi led a slow and somewhat tentative effort to assess the breadth of the clerical sexual abuse crisis in the Italian church
The cardinal had told reporters in 2022 that the bishops had agreed to study the cases of abuse that had been reported to the Vatican Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith
And in 2024 he announced that the pilot research project
conducted by independent experts from two national-level research institutes
would focus on cases reported between 2001 and 2021
The future cardinal had prepared for the priesthood at the Diocese of Palestrina’s seminary
and at Rome’s Pontifical Lateran University
He also earned a degree in the history of Christianity from Rome’s La Sapienza University
Ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Palestrina May 9
most of his pastoral work took place in Rome
and he was incardinated into the Diocese of Rome in 1988
Always close to the headquarters of Sant’Egidio
he served for almost 20 years as rector of the nearby Church of the Holy Cross and as assistant pastor of the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere from 1981 to 2000 before becoming pastor of the parish
he served on the priests’ council and as prefect of the Trastevere area parishes
In a 2015 interview with the magazine Famiglia Cristiana
then-Archbishop Zuppi said his experience and formation within a lay community led to having a “role of priesthood that isn’t very clerical
I learned to live my ministry together with my lay brothers and sisters
discovering the enormous richness of the church
which has different charisms that are all necessary for communion.”
he moved out of Rome’s historic center to become pastor of one of the largest parishes on the outskirts of the city
Pope Benedict XVI named him an auxiliary bishop of Rome in early 2012
and Pope Francis named him archbishop of Bologna in 2015 and a cardinal in 2019

an similar event for guitar enthusiasts is taking place in Italy: Guitar Show 2025
The two-day event features numerous masterclasses and live performances
renowned manufacturers will be presenting their latest gear
the Guitar Show has established itself as Italy’s most important acoustic and electric guitars trade fair
it now aims to achieve this status throughout Europe
Pavilions 31, 32, and 33 at the BolognaFiere exhibition center in Bologna will host various presentations, masterclasses, and live shows. On the three stages of Guitar Shows 2025, new products will be presented on May 10 and 11, 2025. Masterclasses on topics such as playing technique and music theory will be held
and live performances by professional musicians will be shown
the Guitar Show has grown rapidly every year
Last year’s edition welcomed over 7,500 visitors over the two days of the fair
The move to Bologna this year is primarily for logistical reasons
Bologna’s central location in Italy makes the Guitar Show 2025 easier to reach from all corners of the country
both for manufacturers and distributors as well as for the public
Bologna’s international airport is also only 15 minutes away from the exhibition center
Well over 200 manufacturers will be presenting their latest gear at Guitar Show 2025
and Zoom will show their products in the three pavillons
The organizers have also devised a solution to one of the biggest problems at many music fairs: the volume level
where electrically amplified guitars and basses may be played
Artist presentations may also only be given through headphones
and mainly acoustic instruments will be played here
Admission for one day costs 14 euros, while both days cost 24 euros: Tickets
This does not include the masterclasses mentioned above
Tickets for these can be purchased along with admission tickets on the Guitar Show 2025 website

🇮🇹 Bologna and Juventus clash with blunt swords in tepid draw | OneFootballOneFootball

Bologna and Juventus produced a tepid yet intriguing affair to close out matchday 35 in Serie A during a 1-1 draw at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara
Bologna1Juventus104:23Scorers: Freuler 54'; Thuram 9'
An opening goal in the 9th minute from French midfielder Khéphren Thuram set Juve away on the night in Emilia-Romagna
which is just the start Igor Tudor's men needed after seeing Roma
and Lazio all seal three-point outings earlier
please use a different one or install the app
The first half was not without controversy, however, as Bologna could have a case for referee Daniele Doveri failing to award them a penalty after what appeared to be a stonewall decision in favor of the home side
Still, Bologna looked the better of the two combatants going into the dressing room
with Juve largely on the back foot in the wake of Thuram's match opener
Rossoblù would finally level matters in the 55th minute through Swiss international Remo Freuler
who scored his first of the season and just his second for the club with a close-range finish after Thijs Dallinga's ball into the area dropped for the former Atalanta midfielder
Tudor's men seemed more than happy to remain hemmed into their defensive third as Bologna pushed for a match-winner into the final ten minutes of action
but neither side could find a dramatic winner before settling on a point-a-piece
Juve still climbs up to fourth and ahead of Roma on this result due to goal difference, with Bologna just one point adrift with three matches remaining

Bologna Interporto, located north of Bologna near the municipalities of Bentivoglio and San Giorgio in Piano, is one of the largest intermodal (rail/road) logistics platforms in Europe. Situated near the A13 highway, which connects Bologna and Padua, it benefits from proximity to national and European cargo transport routes.
The modern facilities are built to the highest international standards and include office, logistics and distribution space; large outdoor areas; and approximately 500 parking places. The main building features cross dock operations with support pillars positioned to accommodate SDA’s sorter.
Both facilities feature Prologis’ EEGLE, a digital innovation that allows customers to optimize their building’s operations, reduce costs and minimize environmental impact. It is the first tool of its kind in the industrial real estate sector and enables remote management of a logistics building. The interface connects to the building by sensors, allowing users to monitor energy consumption, manage maintenance deadlines and detect operational malfunctions.
Prologis is currently the single largest operator at Bologna Interporto, where it owns and manages approximately 45 percent of the total covered logistics area available. Prologis owns and manages nearly 10 million square feet of distribution space in Italy as of December 31, 2018.

gave Juventus the lead on nine minutes and unnerved the hosts throughout the first half
Bologna were surprisingly subdued on home turf
having only lost one Serie A game this season
A deflection off Chelsea loanee Renato Veiga on 54 minutes beat ‘keeper Michele Di Gregorio on his 30th league appearance for Juventus
There were a handful of disappointing displays from some of Igor Tudor’s troops. Yet the biggest surprise was that the interim coach opted for Weston McKennie rather than Francisco Conceicao to fill the void left by suspended attacking winger Kenan Yildiz
The match petered out after Bologna squared matters
with a draw a fair result and the fifth Serie A stalemate on the bounce between Bologna and Juventus
With the second highest number of Serie A clean sheets this term
The Italian shotstopper will be disappointed that he was beaten by a deflection on his 100th Serie A appearance
Switched from right-back to a central defender role
He was exceptional in keeping former Juve player Riccardo Orsolini at bay throughout
Solid enough with his aerial ability and quick-thinking
His attempt to block Freuler’s effort deflected off his foot to bamboozle Di Gregorio for Bologna’s goal
Was at fault for failing to deal with the danger of Nicolo Cambiaghi's cross from the left wing that resulted in Bologna’s second-half equalizer from Remo Freuler
but failed to ignite the kind of display that can change the game
The Juventus skipper was surprisingly not his usual calm and collected self
Helping out in defense but had a quiet match in midfield
Having set up a goal against Monza he went one better by slotting home
albeit thanks to a ‘keeper error from Lukasz Skorupski
The Juventus wingback produced yet another underwhelming performance
He provided the assist for Thuram’s strike and found the back of the net from an offside position
racing from box-to-box and sending in long throw-ins
Utilized on the right flank for the opening half
and after the break had a tougher time in central midfield
Having scored a cracker against Monza his confidence was high
But his bubble burst by a tepid display and poor dribbling skills
Looked exhausted and disappointed when replaced by Francisco Conceicao
Was never a threat to Bologna as rarely entered the box
Slipped in the box when he was gifted a chance to score from close range
Hardly got into the game but ran his legs off trying to impress interim head coach Igor Tudor
Despite his eagerness brought virtually nothing to the game in his short stint
apart from a stoppage time cross for Samuel Mbangula
Was expected to start in place of Kenan Yildiz
made little impact in his brief stint and has fallen down the pecking order since Tudor was installed
Did win a last-gasp freekick that came to nothing
“We prepared for this match by aiming to pass the ball into space and battle physically
“Playing as part of a back three was a novelty for me
“The coach gives us enthusiasm and I think the whole team put in a good performance today
Now we have to remain focused to finish well.”

Slipped in the box when he was gifted a chance to score from close range. Hardly got into the game but ran his legs off trying to impress interim head coach Igor Tudor.
Rare appearance in a Juve jersey. Despite his eagerness brought virtually nothing to the game in his short stint, apart from a stoppage time cross for Samuel Mbangula.

Both sides used the closing stages to express themselves more freely, playing with flair and imagination, but it was Thijs Dallinga who met a cross to head in another Bologna goal four minutes from time

🇮🇹 Bologna and Juventus clash with blunt swords in tepid draw
both in terms of the league standings and the threat that the Bianconeri's opponent posed
eventually bringing home an important point (the match finished in a one-all draw
with Khephren Thuram and Remo Freuler the scorers) that leaves the table unchanged with just three matches left of the league campaign
remain fourth place firmly in the standings
Juventus started on the front foot and showed great determination
Their reward came in the 9th minute: Khephren Thuram took the lead with a powerful but central shot
which Lukasz Skorupski was unable to prevent
letting the ball slip through his hands and into the net
relying on Nicolo Cambiaghi's pace and Ricccardo Orsolini's movement
but the Bianconeri defence - well marshalled by Nicolo Savona and an attentive Michele Di Gregorio - did not concede any real scoring chances
Juventus thought they had doubled lead through Nico Gonzalez
