Under fire manager Sean Dyche is one of those at risk while Dan Fredkin has plans to shuffle things around upstairs
One position which could be affected is the director of football position, currently held by Kevin Thelwell
According to Italian outlet La Repubblica
Fabio Paratici is being lined up to replace Thelwell
who’s current deal expires at the end of the season
Paratici has played a huge role at the likes of Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur and has recently been advising Roma
her is everything you need to know about the Italian the Toffees are targeting
✅ Deal agreed The Friedkin Group could turn to banned chief Fabio Paratici should they complete their Everton takeoverhttps://t.co/qNGyWPAbJ8 pic.twitter.com/BTfK9evmhW
Fabio Paratici is a former professional footballer who now works as a sporting director for clubs
Paratici became Sampdoria’s head scout and spent six years there before moving to Juventus in 2010
It was at the Bianconeri where he would make his name
working as the club’s chief football officer for the best part of 11 years
He would then join Tottenham in June 2021 following their appointment of Antonio Conte
before resigning from his position in April 2023
The Italian was born in Borgonovo Val Tidone
a small municipal town in the province of Piacenza
Paratici is currently serving a 30-month suspension from football following accusations of false accounting with Juventus
The 58-year-old is still allowed to advise clubs externally and has been in contact with Roma in recent weeks
If he were to join Everton
the earliest he could begin working full-time is 30 June 2025
In the meantime he would be able to adopt a similar approach to his current work at Roma and advise from the background
Whether that’s a route the club would take is another thing given that Thelwell would still technically be employed.
It very much feels as if Ange Postecoglou needs to – at least – reach the UEFA Europa League final this season if the Australian is to remain in charge, with Spurs embarrassingly sat 14th in the Premier League
The Athletic are now claiming that Tottenham have made Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth their primary target if Postecoglou is sacked
However, the Spaniard may not be the only new hire at Spurs, after Daniel Levy made an offer to Fabio Paratici
The Italian negotiator – who helped bring the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero to Spurs – has been out of work ever since FIFA banned him from football for 30 months due to false accounting at Juventus
a decision which prompted his resignation from his Director of Football role at Tottenham in April 2023

Now – however – a story by Radio Rossonera claims that Levy has made a “rich” offer to Paratici in an attempt to lure him back to N17 ahead of AC Milan
who are also trying to hire the man from Borgonovo Val Tidone
The Italian news outlet believe a meeting was held between the pair
and it is now up to the 52-year-old to make a decision
TBR Football understand Paratici is leaning towards AC Milan – where he would be able to remain in his homeland
If Postecoglou does remain at the helm and ends up working with Paratici
we would not anticipate any problems based on what the 59-year-old has previously said about him
The man born in Greece said in January 2024: “Obviously I know Fabio and every now and then we’ll exchange messages or calls
He’s a smart guy and you can see that he’s got a great eye for talent.”
Whether Postecoglou will be in N17 to work alongside Paratici – who admires Radu Dragusin – remains to be seen
with plenty up in the air at Tottenham heading into the summer.
