Despite the difference made by Camarda up top
the team suffered after the break before securing the winner
Campobasso found the equaliser from the spot in the 91st minute
nullifying once again a 2-0 Rossoneri lead
It seemed as if it was going to be a bitter evening, but this time, Milan Futuro were strong enough to react: when it looked like to end in a draw, Camporese found the back of the net in the 95th minute, securing a huge win for the Rossoneri, putting an end to a long home struggle and giving the side a push in the battle for safety. but Campobasso came into the second half full of drive and in the 55th minute
they made it 2-1 with Bifulco's precise finish
The teams began getting tired and the changes then began
The former Cittadella forward had two good chances: in the 70th minute he headed just wide on the end of Malaspina's cross and in the 72nd minute
he shot straight at the goalkeeper after Camarda set him up
Falco's effort struck Malaspina's arm and Rispoli gave the penalty: Di Nardo kept his cool and made it 2-2
And when the game seemed to get out of our grasp
the incredible happened: Turco's long clearance earned us a free-kick
which Camporese converted in the 95th minute to make it 3-2

sterza e di sinistro a giro va vicinissimo all'incrocio
All'ora di gioco botta di Stalmach dalla distanza
però il passar del tempo lascia il predominio alla stanchezza e cala l'inerzia generale
Si fa vedere quasi solo Forte R.: prima strozzando troppo il tiro
poi all'81' sparando di potenza e impegnando Raveyre
Sempre il nostro portiere all'84' è bravo a risolvere una mischia
Finale acceso però senza azioni degne di nota

MATCH REPORT\nHeated atmosphere with a fast start
Campobasso took the lead: in the 7th minute
Minotti fails to intercept and Di Nardo - free and from close range
An immediate reaction to the goal came in the 12th minute with a wicked free-kick from Stalmach
as well as a strong run in the 16th minute from Jiménez and then in the 19th minute with a testing left-footed shot from Sandri
Turco - played in by Bartesaghi - anticipated the goalkeeper but sent it over the bar
the deserved equaliser came: Traoré's cross was left by Guadagno for Stalmach
the Molise side missed a big chance to doubled their lead: Di Nardo faced Raveyre but couldn't get his shot right
\n\nThe home side started the second half in attack: Baldassin provided a dangerous opportunity in the 47th minute
but failed to find the target as Raveyre was quite far off his line
A big double chance for the Rossoneri: in the 53rd minute Traorè collected a loose ball after a save from the goalkeeper
but hit the crossbar; in the 55th minute Jiménez ran and cut inside but curled his left-footed shot just wide of the top corner
but fatigue started to kick in and the general tempo of the game began to slow down
The only player who remained active was Forte R.: first
mishitting his shot and then in the 81st minute
he fired a powerful shot forcing Raveyre into a save
In the 84th minute our goalkeeper did well to clear a goalmouth scramble
which was deflected and created a bit of panic

Enfusion’s general counsel and corporate secretary Matt Campobasso is general counsel (GC) and corporate secretary to Enfusion
a publicly traded fintech company that provides investment management software to asset managers
and the general counsel for both private and publicly traded companies
Matt discusses his approach to leading Enfusion’s legal team
advising Enfusion’s CEO and board of directors
This interview was condensed and edited for clarity
What first prompted you to consider a career in law
He is one of the kindest and most gregarious people you will ever meet
When I was old enough to understand what a career was
I learned that he was the general counsel of AAA-Chicago Motor Club
We would talk about what it meant to be a lawyer
and the sorts of issues he dealt with as an attorney
the more I thought I might enjoy being a lawyer
especially because I’ve always liked problem-solving and I’m an effective communicator
It sounds like it was about more than problem-solving and communication
The main thing that attracted me was the opportunity to help people
and I enjoy lightening people’s loads
I take a lot of pride in knowing I did something to make a situation better
Nothing was more fulfilling than helping a client who called me feeling like their world was caving in
and ensuring we had a clear plan to move forward by the end of the conversation
or shareholders — is where I have felt the most joy in my career
You started as a criminal prosecutor and then became a litigation partner at a law firm
How did those roles lead to your current role as GC
I found myself frustrated that so many issues got to a courtroom
By the time a lawyer is standing in front of a jury
hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent
and the fate of both parties lies in the hands of a jury
I realized I needed to get closer to the decisions that ultimately led to the phone calls I got from clients
where I did in-house legal work for companies as a consultant
I think litigators make the best in-house lawyers because they are used to fighting fires
you are dropped into a situation where everyone is upset and significant amounts of money are at stake
You have to acclimate quickly and learn the subject matter better than the people who are living in the facts of the dispute
That’s a powerful skill set for an in-house lawyer
What did you learn about working in-house that lawyers at law firms might not appreciate or understand
particularly if they have never worked in-house themselves
You have this tremendous volume and variety of things to deal with every day
The best firm lawyers understand what I’m thinking about
the lawyer may think the issue I’m calling about is top of mind for me
Give this to me and I’ll come back to you with a path forward.” And they deliver
Can you say more about the volume and variety of issues you’re dealing with every day
we had a few hundred employees; we now have more than 1,000
We had a few hundred clients; we now have more than 850
We were a private company; now we’re publicly traded
I tell my team that we have to be businesspeople first
We have to protect the company while enabling growth and Enfusion’s ability execute the business strategy
Our job is to find a way to “yes.” That may involve taking a different path than expected
How do you communicate that approach to your board of directors
and our speed of development and evolution as a technology company
it can feel like we are driving on the Autobahn
I have told our board that the legal team has to be able to see around corners
We have to be out ahead of the company so we can anticipate risks that might be coming
so we also need to be sure the company is resilient and agile enough to correct course when necessary
How do you create a culture that will help the legal team see around corners
I pick a book on a theme we elect to focus on
the book was “Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World” by David Epstein
The idea was that everyone on our team has a specialty
Having range allows us to spot the issues and risks we may face across the entire business
the book is “Upstream: The Quest to Solve Problems Before They Happen” by Dan Heath
The premise is that most people can solve problems once they present themselves
but truly effective people identify patterns and look for root causes and prevent problems before they arise
I like to say that a problem prevented is better than a problem solved
If you had to identify one skill that has allowed you to be effective in your role
I think my greatest strength is my ability to communicate
It is about more than just listening and speaking
It is about distilling complex issues into messages that make sense to the people you’re working with
Different things matter to different groups
from the product and technology teams to human resources and finance
I have to be able to bridge the gap in our experiences and specialties to ensure they have what they need to do their jobs effectively
which may be considered advertising under the ethical rules of certain jurisdictions
is provided on the understanding that it does not constitute the rendering of legal advice or other professional advice by Goodwin or its lawyers

when he was presented with the idea of joining him on this audacious investment into minor league side Campobasso 1919

being promoted to the upper division has caused the team value to rise almost fivefold
“We initially invested at a $3 million valuation at the beginning of the project
the most recent value of the club was approximately $15 million,” he said
Rizzetta explained he has been working on obtaining a stadium naming rights deal that could potentially double Campbasso 1919’s revenue base for the 2023/24 season
which would be vital considering that the club’s wage bill is projected to rise significantly to remain competitive in the upper divisions
he is planning on injecting about $1 million for international marketing and media investments
including hiring North American sales personnel and setting up Campobasso 1919’s own proprietary streaming video platform
ITALY: Matt Rizzetta and Mark Consuelos celebrate the team's promotion to Serie D
Consuelos’s primary job is to grow brand awareness
He envisions exporting the Campobasso 1919 story to North America and the rest of the world through a docuseries
following a similar format to Wrexham FC’s renowned show
“I love telling a story through the lens of sport," Consuelos said
“And there's nothing like success that makes telling that story so much easier.”
Consuelos and Rizzetta believe that the Campobasso 1919 journey will resonate with those who share the same motivation to overcome life’s challenges and adversities
“This year's slogan was Fame Di Rivincita
because we are a platform that represents the expats
underdogs and people who have been underlooked in their life.”

“They (Ripa and Consuelos) started their career as underdogs just as we are starting our journey in football as underdogs.”
Ripa and Consuelos’s television expertise will be instrumental in producing a show aimed at reaching the North American sports fans that identify with Campobasso 1919’s struggle of rising through the ranks of the Italian soccer leagues
“So many people can relate to this journey regardless of whether or not they’re sports fans
or even if they have ever been to Italy,” Consuelos said

The Campobasso-IFTV partnership is yet another indicator of Italian soccer’s growing desire to expand its brand globally
with the goal of increasing its presence in foreign markets
is now working to mirror Serie A’s strategy
according to an article by the business newspaper MF Milano Finanza
announced on December 17 that it would start to broadcast league games in the United States
Argentina and Australia on its Serie C TV Channel
explained that this is part of the league’s plan to “bring its brand into a new market that has not yet been explored.”
which is located between Rome and Naples in the tiny region of Molise
becomes the first Serie D club to establish a content distribution agreement with a North American platform
Rizzetta strongly believes in expanding the Campobasso brand outside Italy’s boundaries
“The market for expansion for soccer clubs is international,” Rizzetta told me in late December
“I think that is something on which the Italian league has historically lagged behind
it’s starting to catch up and realize that the addressable market is international.”
have been able to raise their valuations into the billions while having only a tiny fraction of their fan base reside in the country in which they play
“The Italian market creates the greatest opportunity because it still is untapped in many respects in ways that other (soccer) leagues are,” Rizzetta said

“It’s a two-and-a-half-year deal,” Rizzetta says
The $500,000 amount is split between cash and club assets that IFTV will acquire
such as serving as Campobasso’s front-jersey sponsor for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons
Rizzetta stresses innovation as the key element in Campobasso’s outreach efforts
which registers more than 50 million monthly impressions across its online platforms
is the perfect media partner in that it has the right influence and experience to deliver Campobasso content to the English-speaking community
“We’re investing half a million dollars for a Serie D club
That represents a significant percent of our operating budget
so that’s a big commitment; it’s a big investment,” Rizzetta says
“But it’s also us showing our fan base and our prospected fan base that we’re comfortable trying to innovate and do things that other clubs haven’t yet done
I think that is what this partnership (with IFTV) represents.”
Rizzetta also believes IFTV will immediately have a positive impact on Campobasso’s finances
At a time when the coronavirus pandemic is restricting or eliminating some of the club’s revenue streams
the IFTV partnership is expected to bring financial benefits to Campobasso by increasing merchandise sales and attracting new sponsors
and we expect the relationship to be profitable certainly after the first year,” Rizzetta says
“It (IFTV) is also a profit center for the club.”

according to the British newspaper Observer
we built a business that turned into one of the largest businesses in this industry,” Rizzetta says
When he made the decision to invest in an Italian soccer club
Rizzetta chose Campobasso over other clubs competing in higher divisions for reasons that range from the club’s ambitious goals and professionalism to the region’s unique culture
Campobasso has all the core elements to become a global brand
Rizzetta wants Campobasso to represent not only the molisani (Molise natives) but all people who identify with the struggle of a club that
after overcoming strong adversity like four bankruptcies in the last 35 years
is now ready to build a better future—one that
takes them from Serie D all the way up to the grand stage of Serie A
“We want the club to represent the underdogs
the immigrants and the expats,” Rizzetta says
hard work and passion as Campobasso’s core values
If you can resonate with those values and that story
IFTV cofounder Marco Messina says that IFTV will explore all layers of Campobasso’s story while facilitating the global audience’s interaction with the content they produce
“The important thing for us is building up story lines
It’s more so about how we’re going to get our fans engaged and involved in it,” Messina says
“Being able to tell that story from the ground up and making Campobasso that relatable is the thing that will separate Campobasso from any other team that there is in the lower divisions.”
Besides streaming Campobasso’s league matches
the IFTV channel will feature original content
is expected to begin airing in the spring on IFTV

hopes that the newly created media company will allow the Serie A brand to reach wider audiences around the world
all layers of Italian soccer have started to explore ways in which they can grow their presence in foreign markets
with North America gradually becoming one of the most appealing destinations
Rizzetta is not surprised about this trend
He believes that unlike other top-European soccer leagues
whose markets have in many ways become saturated
Italy has one of the largest potentials for growth in the years to come
“As advanced as the Italian game is right now,” Rizzetta says
are part of Campobasso FC's ownership group
The team recently won its group to earn promotion to Italy's Serie C
It was an “absolute whirlwind,” Patrick Chovan acknowledges
the ownership group for Italian soccer team Campobasso FC
the Hubbard native resident of nearby Hermitage and his peers faced a difficult choice — and a huge gamble
After a successful first season of ownership that saw Campobasso promoted from the fifth tier of Italy’s league system
Campobasso returned just five players from its previous roster and also swapped coaches and sporting directors
which is Italy’s version of general managers
Campobasso FC wasn’t getting the results it wanted
The team began just 2-1-2 and “you could tell there was a disconnect,” Chovan said
ownership opted to replace the coach and sporting director just five games into the season
Campobasso FC got exactly what it was searching for
The team finished the season with a group-best 70 points on a record of 20 wins
and earned its second promotion in as many years
The team became the first American-owned team to secure promotions in consecutive seasons
“Basically within the course of a year
so that kind of added to the insanity of the season,” Chovan said
“But to see our big risks come to fruition was pretty awesome.”
who joined the ownership group ahead of the 2022-23 season
was able to fly over and attend the finale
“(The fans) will basically party all summer,” Chovan joked
there’ll be about six weeks to recoup and relax before it’s time to start preparing for the next campaign
Chovan anticipates the front office taking an aggressive approach as it readies for another critical offseason
Chovan noted that Campobasso FC has rejuvenated its fan base and regional support
and continuing that momentum is the end goal
we’ll take a little bit of time to just kind of reflect,” Chovan said
“I think it’s really going to hit as to how incredible this was
… It’s very historic what we just accomplished
but to see the pictures of our first home match last year to our (most recent) home match
we went from about 120 spectators to a complete sellout (of about 7,500 fans)
and it’s so important to this city and whole region
There are some other benchmarks the team needs to hit
Serie C will require a higher attendance limit as well as some other stadium-related requirements
so renovations will get underway to make sure those are met
there’s the goal to continue the on-field success
although it gets tougher and tougher with each promotion
The jump from D to C was especially tough because only group winners are promoted
and now the top four teams from Serie C will get promoted to Serie B
the group is striving to field a consistently competitive product and avoid any relegations during down years
“Each league gets much more competitive
but financially with bigger budgets and revenues,” Chovan said
you get some TV money and the higher you go up
the better the product is and the more people are going to come to matches.”

WORCESTER — Hours after tossing a complete-game effort Tuesday in the first game of the Little League Softball Junior Division State Championship
Jesse Burkett coach Gino Porcelli didn’t hesitate to hand the ball back to who he dubbed the team’s season-long “workhorse” in Mia Porcelli
The ace took control of the game as the team from District 4 defeated Peabody
to sweep the doubleheader and secure the championship at Bob Rousseau Field at Vernon Hill
The journey continues for Jesse Burkett with a trip to the East Regional Tournament in Orange
Tourney play begins July 23 and runs through the 26th
Porcelli entered with two out in the third inning after Peabody tied the game and put two more runners on base
Jesse Burkett starter Chloe Campobasso had retired seven of the first eight batters she faced before a double and later two wild pitches tied the score
Porcelli ended the threat with a strikeout and a groundout and cruised through the next three innings before Peabody added a consolation run in the seventh
Porcelli allowed three runs on eight hits with 19 strikeouts and four walks over 11⅓ innings
Jesse Burkett scored half its runs in the third inning
after Peabody tied the game at 1-1 in the top half
Mollie Rabb and Campobasso hit consecutive singles
with the latter three connecting on the first pitch
Porcelli followed with a sacrifice fly to bring in the last run on the second pitch of her at-bat
“I just told them to the put the bat on the ball,” Gino Porcelli said while denying the aggressive approach as the strategy in that inning
Maddy Grant delivered an insurance run in the sixth for Jesse Burkett
She capped a spirited at-bat by lacing an RBI single after fouling off four straight pitches with two strikes
Burkett scored its three runs in the fifth inning
highlighted by Zoe Schliapa's two-run double
Peabody answered in the sixth with two runs but stranded runners on second and third
“The girls played awesome in the heat,” Gino Porcelli said
but we were able to squeak it out through and through
The second game we really came to play and hit the ball better.”

While the global almond production is expected to increase in 2024
yields in Italy are dropping due to the weather and the phytosanitary problems that affected cultivation areas
"We are expecting a 25% drop with respect to the previous campaign
despite the fact that the campaign will be early as the current phenological state is rather advanced
Fruits are ripening: hulls will start their dehiscence in early August
so harvesting could start mid-August for early varieties such as Tuono and early September for late cultivars
Last year's early defoliation due to red spider mite attacks and a lower bud differentiation are among the main factors of the lower production in 2024," reports Pasquale Campobasso
a historic company from Puglia that has been dealing with the production
sorting and processing of almonds since the early 20th century
"Quotations are rather interesting at the moment despite a 20% increase in produce expected compared with 2023
The weather has been favorable everywhere during dormancy
blossoming and growing: rainy but with very little frost."
Thanks to dozens of suppliers located mainly in Bari
Aziende Campobasso processes 3 thousand tons of shelled produce on average
which is then shipped to different sales channels: the confectionery industry
"We are expecting prices to drop slightly in September
but we want to reassure local producers that Italian almonds continue to be the most appreciated especially by pastry shops thanks to the unique organoleptic qualities of the fruits."

In midfield, Cangelosi can choose, but it is unlikely that he will give up Joselito as director, while Di Maggio and Giunti are in pole position to keep him company, with Broh, however, ready to apply. Giraudo completes the midfield. Choices that could allow the coach to change tactical attitude even during the game. Who in attack? It is difficult to give up Montevago, fresh from a brace. While Seghetti (in the lead), Kanoute and Matos are candidates for the last place.
There are still two sessions, also on Easter Sunday, to evaluate the best solutions. A success is needed, Cangelosi would like to leave his mark also away.
