Reports from Italy have all but confirmed that the Brazilian striker is set for a move to Chinese team Jiangsu Suning FC
Luiz Adriano did not feature against Carpi in Milan's Coppa Italia win
Reports in Italy say that Milan has sold Adriano to a club in China for some €14 million
and further reports have confirmed that the Brazilian will soon fly to China to sign a contract worth almost €8 million per season with Jiangsu Suning FC
LUIZ ADRIANO non è tra i convocati per Milan-Carpi perché al centro di una trattativa di mercato
Since joining AC Milan in July from Shakhtar Donesk
Luiz Adriano has failed to impress -- scoring only five goals in 20 appearances in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia -- which resulted in him being third choice striker behind Carlos Bacca and recently behind M'baye Niang as well
Luiz Adriano's departure was also announced on Instagram by soon to be ex-teammate José Mauri on Instagram:
you deserve health and happiness because you are a great person
it was a pleasure sharing these months with you
Your smile is going to be missed in the dressing room"
Mucha suerte amigo ! Te deseo lo mejor, mereces salud y felicidad porque sos una gran persona, fue un gusto compartir estos meses con vos.. Se va a extrañar tu sonrisa en el vestuario ! Parabéns Pai @luizadrianinho

Milan will make a €6 million profit on Luiz Adriano -- not bad business for a player signed just six months ago and who isn't performing well
Hopefully that money will be used to strengthen the team's attacking options
and some of his high wages might even be used to bring back a familiar face
