Rubiera. Vikings Rubiera (5) stop in the sprint in the men's Serie A Gold. The rossoblù lose 30-29 at PalaBursi with Cingoli (18) and remain in last place in the men's Serie A Gold standings. In the second half, the home team is ahead by 1 point at 19-18, but must surrender to the 7 goals of the Frenchman Renaud-David. At this point, a miracle is needed to stay up.

Home environments have taken on new meanings and values, adapting to the changing requirements of everyday life and regaining the role of a safe haven in which to find our own individuality. In the future, greater attention will also be paid to designing modular
with layouts that can be adapted to the different needs of the various family members
as well as to home automation technologies
functional to avoid wasting energy and able to team comfort with increased safety
The current public health emergency has brought to light new needs, especially within the home: from the need for greater comfort and well-being to the need to live in a healthy, hygienic environment, with clean air and a reduced amount of allergens. Casalgrande Padana offers Bios Antibacterial, the exclusive silver-based treatment able to eliminate 99% of bacteria present on the ceramic surface
The antibacterial capacity is permanently incorporated into the stoneware tiles
both in the presence of light and in the dark; it does not require UV rays for activation
Bios Antibacterial® uses a silver ion technology that blocks the metabolism of bacteria
eliminating them and preventing them from spreading
with efficacy tested on the four main strains of bacteria
nonallergenic and remains unalterable over time

The team. Numerous well-known faces will be at the starting line of the Serie A7 championship on 1 September: "We are moving towards a wholesale reconfirmation of the team that finished sixth, with the consequent direct salvation" explains technical director Giorgia Di Fazio.
Text description provided by the architects. Kengo Kuma & Associates who completed the CCCWall and the CCCloud, and client, Casalgrande Padana
recently implemented a significant architectural restoration project inserted in the Casalgrande Ceramic Cloud system: the spectacular landmark completed for the Reggio company only one year ago
The Old House is the result of an interesting project for the requalification of the existing item designed by Kuma with the sensitivity that characterizes his approach to the themes of tradition
a typical farmhouse of the Reggio countryside that survived the deep industrial changes in the territory
has been completely restored and recovered to the function of historical archive and documentation center of Casalgrande Padana

Designed to also house exhibitions, meetings and cultural events, the building and its surrounding garden interact with harmony with the neighboring Casalgrande Ceramic Cloud, the spectacular landmark designed by Kuma and inaugurated exactly one year ago. A surprising building where the experience of living is transformed into the experience of being. A place, as Kuma himself explained, where “Ceramics plays itself”.
© Marco introiniRoom are paved with 60x120 cm tiles treated with titanium Granitogres, Unicolore: Bianco Assoluto Granitoker, Metalwood: Bronze dioxide, which belong to the same stock of those used for the CCCloud. The stairs that lead upstairs have steps and landings made with thin steel cantilever tiles, also with glued ceramic tiles. The ceramic flooring tiles of the Projection Room are matched with a bed of white cobblestone (the same that surround the CCCloud).
© Marco introiniThe pathways and the square have been paved with radially arranged tiles
whose fulcrum is located in the vicinity of the CCCloud
This laying mesh determined a progressive opening of the interspaces between the tiles towards the square
The spaces that have been created have been filled with small-size gravel on top of a drainage layer
This solution allowed the elimination of the traditional rainwater drainage grids
The Casalgrande Ceramic Crown is a spiraling construction that experiments with innovative new uses of the latest generation in ceramics. Made entirely from flexible “fractile” stoneware tiles, the crown emphasizes the possibilities of ceramics, producing a hand-sketched feel to the structure.
Located in front of the Casalgrande Padana Headquarters, the CCCloud monument is a result of the collaboration between Kengo Kuma Architects, Alfonso Acocella, Luigi Alini, and Casalgrande Padana
The monument is constructed of unglazed ceramic tiles that have been adapted for structural use
The entire structure is 45 meters long and 12 meters high
with a maximum width of 1.7 meters in the central section
It consists of nine layers of porcelain stoneware tiles 60 x 120 cm that are stacked and articulated through fine threaded rods
the ceramic tiles are here used as a structural component
The monument is oriented in line with the street
This anti-monumental strategy creates a low profile on the site that generates a space without overwhelming the viewer
The actual proportion of the line is apparent throughout the car’s movement through the site
The installation is not static – lighting and water produce a unique effect on ceramic tiles
Its subtle translucency and reflections from its surface interact with the weather and time of day
The monument evokes tranquility through its presence
Kengo Kuma explains: “We wanted to create a monument that will become part of the site.”

This monument goes up on a roundabout in Casalgrande
an area of Reggio Emilia known for its traditional ceramic industry
comissioned the design of an installation for a roundabout
a wall rising 12 meters high and 1.7 meters on its wider part
Avoiding the idea of monument as static element
the project experiments with dynamic principles such as time
By aligning the direction of the ceramic wall with the road that leads to it
when reaching the site drivers will perceive just a roundabout divided by a vertical line
and only when going around it can they appreciate it in all its extension and complexity
is used as a structural element beyond its traditional role of cladding thanks to a simple system of white lacquered ceramic pieces of 1200x600x14 millimeters
A bold trace nuanced by a slight vibration generates a blurred cloud structure
and transforms a banal context into a place that offers a new sensory experience

Casalgrande Padana is the leader in the production of the unglazed stoneware that is used for the completion of the monument. The completed structure is 12 meters tall and is a maximum of 1.7 meters wide at the central section. It is composed of nine layers of porcelain stoneware slabs that each measure at 60x120cm that are stacked and held in place by thin threaded bars. Traditionally used as cladding, the ceramic tiles are used in the monument for the first time as a structural component.
Courtesy of Kengo KumaThe installation is by no means visually static. The effect of the ceramic tiles creates an ephemeral play of light, water and material in the minimal and poetic installation. The monument evokes tranquility and mindfulness of the site through its presence. Kengo Kuma says of the project: “We wanted to avoid creating a monument that stands in the middle of the site: we wanted it to become part of the site.”
