On the other hand, the team that has been chasing the final play-offs all season long is Villa Valle, which currently occupies the fifth position, the last one that allows for the playoffs, with a four-point advantage over Mestre. Sgrò's team will receive the visit of a tough rival like Luparense, but can find the strength and conviction to win the victory that could decisively bring the post-season play-offs closer.

an eyesore property for years, could be getting a new life as an upscale residential development
City officials say preliminary plans call for the site off U.S
1 to be converted into a 300-plus-unit apartment or townhome project
although those plans are still up in the air.
"I'm very excited about the project," Rockledge Mayor Tom Price said
The parcels that together form the Rockledge Mall were sold in April to Inlet Property Co
according to Brevard County property records
The Molly Mutt III thrift shop that stands at the northwest corner of the mall is its own parcel and was not included in the sale.
Rockledge officials say representatives of the buyers have told them they want to build a residential development on the site
which has been used as a bingo hall and an indoor flea market over the years since a Sears department store on the site closed more than three decades ago
Preliminary sketches submitted to the city — labeled a "conceptual site plan" — show a 302-unit residential development
But city officials emphasize that official site plans have not yet been submitted
The developers declined comment on specifics.
'Tiny home' project on the horizon: Tiny home community could become first of its kind in Brevard
Looking for a Brevard stop: Brevard city leaders visit Brightline station with hopes of adding Space Coast station
said the company prefers to file official plans before talking about a project
But Ciserano told FLORIDA TODAY that Brevard County’s growth over the past several years was part of what attracted the company to acquire the property
“It’s a good market and it’s a good-looking location," Ciserano said
"Those are certainly all appealing qualities.”
Rockledge City Manager Brenda Fettrow said
during an initial meeting with her and other city officials
representatives of the developers said they want to build "Class A" residential buildings on the site
She said they did not indicate the price range of the proposed residences
Fettrow said: "The city is very excited for this development."
Rockledge Planning Director John Cooper said the housing project could spur retail and other commercial development along the U.S
once the developer of the Rockledge Mall site submits site plans
the project would undergo administrative review by the city of Rockledge and other local and state agencies
Issues that would be examined include traffic impact
Cooper said those reviews could take anywhere from six months to two years before construction could begin
This property sale marks the most recent development to the mall's troubled recent history.
a bank foreclosed on the Rockledge Mall at a time when there were only three storefronts in operation
the mall had fallen into disrepair over the decades.
The brick rear wall facing Florida Avenue was long plagued by vandals who would routinely graffiti the surface
only for it to be painted over and graffitied again
The mall's parking lot is in a state of woeful disrepair
and grass and weeds growing through cracks in the asphalt
Rockledge noted that something had to be done about the mall
which had clearly become an eyesore along a main thoroughfare
putting in its redevelopment plan that "the entrance to Rockledge
presents a very negative investment image for the city."
1 property could be the next in a series of recent overhauls of formerly blighted retail spaces around Rockledge
This past year saw a Thrifty grocery store developed on the property at the corner of Barton and Fiske boulevards
where a former Winn-Dixie supermarket sat empty for decades prior.
a new mid-rise apartment complex opened within the past year to finally replace the Kmart building that had sat vacant for nearly two decades
Where previously stood an empty retail space is now the upscale Rockledge Flats
All of these projects have been a part of long-term efforts to reduce blight in Brevard's oldest city.

Home » First Clear Images of the Italian Submarines being built for Qatar
Fresh details of Qatar’s new submarines have been revealed at the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition in Poland
The two submarines for the Qatari Emiri Navy are being built by M23 SRL in Bergamo
The exhibition included a model of the C-Series design
the first time it has been shown in public
The M23 C-Series submarine has also been observed being tested at La Spezia
the physical and spiritual home of Italian naval special forces
The port has a long and storied tradition of midget submarine construction
both for the nation’s special forces and export.
The submarines were contracted in January 2020 under a deal associated with Italy’s main defence shipbuilder, Fincantieri. The agreement described “the supply of cutting-edge naval vessels and submarines.” Now it is becoming clearer what those submarines will be
The submarines have been constructed at Ciserano
They will have been transported by 250 km (150 miles) road to the coast
The physical confines of the factory in Ciserano
together with the need to transport the submarine by road
Santi began building submarines in the 1970s and gained a reputation for high quality and innovation
He pioneered air-independent power (AIP) in the 1980s and developed all-new submarine construction techniques
More recently he built an experimental dry combat submersible (DCS) for the U.S
The submarine has an overall length of 23 meters (75 feet) and a width of 5 meters (16 feet)
It can dive to 200 meters (650 feet) and reach speeds of 12 knots
The crew of 6 can be accompanied by a further 6 passengers
These can lock out of the submarine through a special hatch to conduct covert operations
its fatter beam gives it an overall size comparable to a typical 30 meter (100 foot) submarine
include the Iranian Ghadir Class (actually the North Korean Yono design) and the Italian built Cos.Mo.S MG-110.
The M23 design is comparatively heavily armed
with two torpedo tubes housed under the casing
These can house standard 553mm (21 inch) heavyweight torpedoes. The submarine can also carry Murena smart sea mines and launch loitering munitions.
