After making it 1-1, which briefly gave the match a new outlook, the Rossoneri failed to push on. One positive to take from the evening was Victor Eletu’s professional debut in the second half with the 20-year-old having previously developed with our Primavera side There is just one game remaining of the regular season - at home to Vis Pesaro - after which the Rossoneri will be involved in the relegation playouts (over two legs) to determine the outcome of their debut season.  CHECK OUT THE GALLERY FROM GUBBIO v MILAN FUTURO with Camarda once again converting from twelve yards out the Diavolo had two chances to draw level: a cross from Ianesi nearly resulted in an own goal while Venturi also saved a left-footed effort from Omoregbe GUBBIO (4-2-3-1): Venturi; Zallu (81' D'Avino) Corsinelli; Tommasini (85' Faggi). A disp.: Bolletta Sono disponibili i Kit PUMA di AC Milan per il 2024/25: acquistali ora Despite a brace from Camarda (both goals from the penalty spot), Milan Futuro fell to a 3-2 defeat to Gubbio on matchday 37 It was a lacklustre performance compared to recent outings. Creation This pilgrimage is inspired by the Orthodox Church's call for Christians to observe Creation Day on September 1 and is further strengthened by Pope Francis' message for this year’s celebration “Christian hope is not a hope that merely waits for things to happen from afar Christian hope sets our lives in motion.” The pilgrimage It began at the Sanctuary of the Spoliation Francis famously stripped himself of all material possessions marking the beginning of his life dedicated to simplicity and care for all creation Francis’ taming of the fierce wolf—a powerful symbol of reconciliation with nature and even some accompanied by wolves—all embodied the pilgrimage’s theme of active hope They were living out the call to care for our common home demonstrating that the journey is not just symbolic but a lived expression of stewardship down to his nakedness,” explained Bishop Sorrentino no longer tied to money and material possessions but a life of connection to God and his brothers It opens the month-long "Season of Creation," an ecumenical initiative running from September 1 to October 4 This global effort invites Christians to engage in activities that promote ecological stewardship and deepen their relationship with creation Alexey Gotovskiy has worked at the EWTN Vatican Bureau as a journalist TV Producer & Manager for the last 7 years and received his building a bridge between the West and East a wonderful and enchanting event that brings crowds oftourists and visitors to Umbria every year The most important day of the Festa dei Ceri takes place in Gubbio on May 15 In town the atmosphere of celebration begins as early as the first Sunday of May when the Ceri (enormous wooden structures) are brought back down into Gubbio in a horizontal position from the Basilica of the Patron Saint at the top of Mount Ingino for the whole month of May the city is marvellously decorated in celebration and one can breathe an atmosphere of cheer and excitement Even the days following the 15th are very special for the people of Gubbio: satisfaction and celebration for the families of the Ceraioli (the men who race with the Ceri) who brought home good results and disappointment for those who believe the race did not go well In fact this is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the Festa dei Ceri: there is no official winner and the conditions that determine a successful race are never quite clear therefore every edition leads to lengthy debates and friendly rivalry between participants but this is part of the charm of the event The Ceri are three wooden structures made up of two stacked octagonal prisms with a bar going through the middle and coming out both ends At the bottom the structure is fitted onto a support called a “gurney” that the ceraioli (Ceri carriers) use to carry the structure on their shoulders representing the Saint Protectors of the Three Districts: Saint Ubaldo who is also the patron saint of the city and who is the protector of bricklayers Saint Giorgio who is the protector of Milliner’s shops and Saint Antonio the protector of farmers The race is between these three Families of ceraioli: Santubaldari The race is certainly the most important part of the celebration: spectacular and imprudent it is especially characterised by the great involvement of the crowd which go” sings: “Via ch’eccoli” (There they go) It takes place along four stretches along the narrow streets of the city The ceraioli ‘pass the baton’ with an incredible skill and they are not always able to avoid minor accidents and injuries The aim is to run with the Cero as vertical as possible while it is strictly necessary to avoid falling and tilting off balance: this is what the result of the race for each family of ceraioli depends on most It is also considered poor performance to get too far behind the Cero in front of you Speed is therefore certainly important even if overtaking is not allowed and the three statues get to the finish line in the same order they left in: Saint Ubaldo The circuit is approximately 4 kilometres and 300 metres: the starting line is at the Chiesa dei Neri and the finish line is at Basilica di Saint Ubaldo the days following the celebration on the 15th of May are filled with other events In particular there are the Ceri Mezzani (youth Ceri) held on the first Sunday after May 17th and are carried by teens and the Ceri Piccoli (children’s Ceri) held on June 2nd and are carried by children The Festa dei Ceri is not a historical re-enactment because it has always been held on the anniversary of the death of Saint Ubaldo on May 16 1160 and is therefore one of the most ancient folkloric celebrations in Italy: throughout all of these centuries the tradition has never been lost and this is a significant indication of the enthusiasm and connection that the people of Gubbio have to this event but it has always maintained its original spirit and meaning The celebration is well-known and loved across Umbria so much that in 1973 the Ceri were chosen as the Region’s symbol and the stylised depiction of them is on the gonfalon and official flag For more information and RENZI 6 Late in closing down Corsinelli when Gubbio took the lead, he redeemed himself with the assist for Ravasio's 1-1. GILLI 6,5 He starts with a chilling disengagement, then recovers and grants the bare minimum to Tommasini. NOTE 6,5 He starts off a bit tense, but loosens up as the minutes pass and leads the department with his usual authority. LINES 5 Spina often puts him in difficulty. Imprecise when he has to attack. MOWULI 7 He contrasts and turns the action around. He also has a hand in the 2-1 goal. He is back to his best form. (From 67' CHIERICO 6 He makes his contribution in the final part). GUCCIONE 5 Nervous from the first minutes, he also makes mistakes in solutions that are usually his daily bread. (From 83' SANTORO SV). 5,5 He floats between the midfield and the three-quarter line, but never finds the incisive play (From 83' DAMIANI SV). PATTARELLO 6,5 He spectacularly misses a goal in the first half, but has the merit of starting the action for 1-1, then he earns and coolly converts the penalty that definitively closes the game (From 88' CAPELLO SV). RAVASIO 8 He breaks the deadlock after two months and on the most important occasion. A stunning brace and a performance worthy of a top-class centre-forward (From 88' OGUNSEYE SV). TAVERNELLI 6,5 Apathetic for at least an hour, then he provides the assist for Ravasio's 2-1 and forces Signorini to be sent off. He finds a way to make an impact even on one of his less brilliant evenings. 25 Jan 2025 16:30:00 GMT?.css-1txiau5-AnswerContainer{color:var(--GlobalColorScheme-Text-secondaryText2);}Campobasso vs Gubbio on Sat The current head to head record for the teams are Campobasso 0 win(s) Who won between Campobasso and Gubbio on Sat 25 Jan 2025 16:30:00 GMT?Campobasso vs Gubbio on Sat 25 Jan 2025 16:30:00 GMT ended in a 1–1 tie.InsightsHave scored 3 goals in their last 5 matches Campobasso is playing home against Gubbio on Sat A goal from Chaka Traorè was enough against Gubbio for the Rossoneri to gain an important and deserved win: the game at the Chinetti ended 1-0 on matchday 18 of Serie C lively and ready to capitalise on a brilliant piece of play Milan Futuro were relentless and came close to scoring on several occasions which would have ensured a more peaceful ending did not give much away to Gubbio and secured all three points.  CHECK OUT THE GALLERY FROM MILAN FUTURO v GUBBIO Traorè (74' Hodzic); In the second half Fontana's men struggle more and fail to create any danger, while Arezzo makes cynicism its lethal weapon. Ravasio finds his personal double in the 63rd minute with a great right from the edge that, also thanks to the deflection of Corsinelli, fits under the top corner. Gubbio has some jolts but the incidents are totally against them: in the 73rd minute Signorini intervenes late in a slide on Tavernelli, for Di Francesco there are extremes for the red card and Gubbio remains with 10 men for the final part of the match, finally capitulating a few minutes later. For a contact between Rocchi and Pattarello, which seemed rather light, the Ostia referee awards the penalty: from the spot goes the same Pattarello who displaces Venturi and closes the accounts. And now on to the play-offs. Useless for the tie for fourth place due to of victory (obvious) of Pescara over Campobasso. The Amaranto therefore finish fifth (at 64 points) and will face the Eugubini in a one-off match, with two results out of three available to access the second round. The other pairings in group B are See Pesaro-Pontedera e Pineto-Pianese. On Amiata Bucchi, in anticipation of the playoffs, had spared all the starters who were cautioned: Chiosa, Renzi, Righetti and Mawuli on the bench. From the beginning, an opportunity for Montini, Gigli, Coccia and Chierico. Precisely Montini, after just two minutes, has the ball on his right for the lead, but wastes it from an excellent position. Arezzo breaks the deadlock in the 18th minute when Chierico collects Tavernelli's cross from the left and backheels it past De Boer. A magic from the Amaranth midfielder who takes Arezzo forward. The Amaranth double their lead just before the half hour mark (27') with a splendid team action, started and concluded by Coccia who receives the assist from Cleric and made it 2-0 with a low touch as the goalkeeper came out. Pianese reopens the game shortly (33') later when Mignani wins the physical duel with Gilli and beats Trombini with a soft lob that is worth the 17th goal of the season for the 2002-born centre-forward. The hosts completed their comeback just before half-time when the referee awarded a very dubious penalty for contact in the area between Montini and Bacchin. The Amaranth protests were vehement but useless. El Tecolote As the City aggressively displaces its unhoused residents for APEC a compassionate daytime shelter is considered sacred by many “People experiencing homelessness are an afterthought,” Lydia Brensten said from her office chair.  Bransten is the executive director of The Gubbio Project a nonprofit that provides unhoused people with a safe place to sleep during the daytime keeping some of the city’s most vulnerable population away from the bustling sidewalks beverages and compassion are provided every weekday from the Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in the Mission District.  Brensten anticipates an influx of displaced unhoused people from APEC sweeps in the coming days but isn’t certain how it will impact their 45 bed capacity The Gubbio Project is one of the most beloved shelters in the city that has operated for almost two decades first at the Saint Boniface Catholic Church in the Tenderloin before being moved out of the space and into the Mission District after the pandemic Donations flooded in support after it was announced that it was on the verge of shutting down Many unhoused guests have frequented the nonprofit’s services for years like Marlene Vasquez a 64-year-old woman who has struggled to find affordable housing for the past three years The Gubbio Project has also given elderly Spanish-speaking Latinos and Indigenous people living in the Mission District a safe place to eat the APEC conference has generated a lot of attention to homelessness while many people believe that the issue is being swept under the rug to accommodate its wealthy visitors The people of The Gubbio Project are a representation of the humanistic side of homelessness an issue that is a polarizing topic.  It will therefore be anything but a "holiday" match, as Christian Tommasini, Gubbio striker, also underlined when he spoke on the eve of the match: "We are expecting a Partita tough, in an important stadium against a team that is doing less than its potential. They have to save themselves and will play with a knife between their teeth, we are thinking about ourselves and bringing home the three points that could help us climb a position in the standings and help us get used to winning". In the now consolidated 4-3-3 there is Venturi between the posts, on the wings Zallu on the right and Corsinelli on the left with Rocchi and one between Stramaccioni and Signorini in the center. In midfield Rosaia should return as a starter in the mezzala role together with Iaccarino, with Proietti as a playmaker. In attack Di Massimo with Tommasini and Spina. Mister Oddo's team certainly has the excellent form they are experiencing on their side: three consecutive victories from which comes the Milan Futuro to the "Barbetti" match, driven by the enthusiasm of a team as young as it is inexperienced, a factor that unfortunately has often made the team pay the price in its first year among the professionals. GUBBIO (4-3-3) Venturi; Corsinelli, Rocchi, Signorini, Tentardini; Spina, Tommasini, D'Ursi. Meanwhile, the advance sale of tickets for the match against Gubbio continues. The Mazza ticket offices will be open tomorrow from 12 to 17,15:14 in Corso Piave and from 16,30 to XNUMX:XNUMX in Via Cassoli.
