he was the son of the late Clyde and Sylvia Presley Breeding Sam graduated High School in the class of 1959 in Cleveland Army from 1963-1965 during the Vietnam Era as a Rank Specialist He was a member of the Wrightsville Fire Department for 28 years where he previously was First Assistant Chief He retired from his employment with Research Design and Development in Erie in 1996 after 21 years He was previously a welder at Penn Furnace and Iron in Warren Sam also worked the gates at Stateline Speedway in Busti Loretta Fisher Breeding whom he married March 29 Kevin (Jodi) Breeding and Joe (Tracy) Breeding; 13 grandchildren Karissa Cratty and Madeline Cratty; five great-grandchildren Polly Duhaine and Sue Terry; several nieces and nephews; and his special little dog Sam was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Gary Ransom and Bill Duhaine; and a sister-in-law Friends and family will be received for visitation at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services PA on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday A graveside service will be held with full military honors following the services at the funeral home at The Wrightsville Cemetery The family suggests memorials may be made in Sam’s honor to the Wrightsville Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice of Warren County Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.mckinneyfuneral.com Copyright © 2025 Ogden Newspapers of Pennsylvania LLC | https://www.timesobserver.com | PO Box 188
