benefiting the communities where we operate
The achievement of these goals requires strong collaboration between public and private sectors
the projects in Veneto represent a benchmark.”
The national reforestation programme Parco Italia
Parco Italia's long-term vision is to plant one tree per city resident across 14 metropolitan areas in Italy: 22 million trees by 2040 in order to create a national network of green ecological corridors able to increase and protect biodiversity

Italy should increase the percentage of protected areas by at least 8.7% by 2030
completed by the Parco Italia team in October 2023
highlighted that the increase in protected areas and the protection of natural resources – managed in order to minimise the risks of fragmentation and increase ecological connectivity – are key tools for the mitigation of the negative effects of habitat loss and ecological fragmentation
Amazon contributed to the planting of more than 6,000 trees in the Metropolitan City of Milan through the Forestami pilot project

The study trip to discover the European institutions took place from 23 to 26 January 2024 and is part of the "TGS for Schools" programme

The students were received by the Honourable Rosanna Conte who hosted them and had the opportunity to accompany them inside the seat of Parliament
explaining to them the parliamentary activity
"An opportunity for young people to discover the role of the EU institutions
promoting a greater understanding of the importance of European cooperation – explained the Hon
"I have seen young people who are attentive and receptive
happy and curious to understand how this great machine that has such an impact on our lives
works." The students visited the European Commission

The researcher points out that the rectorate of Fr
Paolo Albera has not been the subject of monographic
illuminate only a few aspects of his long government
only a few important aspects of his work as Rector Major are exposed
or have been dealt with without due investigation
In addition to exhibiting documentation on several topics

an attempt will be made to highlight and document the "mens" and "spirit" that animated
and inspired him to do everything possible to ensure the further development of the precious legacy of his esteemed predecessors - Don Bosco and Fr
Rua - in a period marked by epochal cultural
The second article - Alle origini del collegio salesiano Astori a Mogliano Veneto (1879-1888) - At the Origins of the Salesian Astori Boarding School in Mogliano Veneto (1879-1888) - is by Vito Maurizio
Not even a year after the opening of the boarding school in Este
in 1879 Don Bosco was approached by Engineer Saccardo on behalf of the Catholic movement and the patriarchal diocese to establish an agricultural colony for the benefit of the poor and abandoned youth of the city of Venice
But shortly thereafter he communicated a new proposal from Mrs

to document the influence of the French educator and pedagogist of the Society of Mary
head of the "school of pedagogy" initiated
by Don Bosco in his first charitable-educational work in Turin-Valdocco
The PROFILES section features an essay by Pedro Ruz Delgado: Angel Martín González (1924-1994)

(ANS - Mogliano Veneto) - More than 2,000 children and young people participated in the meetings of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) organized by the Salesian Province of Triveneto (INE) on February 26 and March 5
Two Sundays full of fun and an attractive educational proposal that was able to touch the hearts of the young people who participated and who became protagonists in the course of the events
over 600 young people between the ages of 14 and 20 from the various Salesian houses in the area gathered for the annual formative proposal "Noi ci s(t)iamo - we're here / with you"
Inspired by the testimony of Father Claudio Burgio
diocesan priest and chaplain of the "Cesare Beccaria" juvenile prison in Milan
the young people listened to stories of redemption
adopting Don Bosco's Salesian style of meeting children and adolescents who end up in prison
it was the turn of the meeting dedicated to children between the ages of 11 and 14
entitled “Direction: Heaven.” Through an exciting show
they were able to listen to the encounter between Michele Magone and Don Bosco and reflect on the importance of having dreams to fulfill with the help of God and wise adults who accompany them
A Sunday full of fun and games in which about 1,400 of them participated
Two meetings in which the young people themselves were the protagonists with their service
about 150 young people prepared the first meeting

Sisters of Mary Help of Christians and also the Mamma Margaret Association
a group formed by some parents of the SDBs
the participants had a moment of prayer echoing Don Bosco's childhood dream
the new FMA Provincial of the ITV Province
Those present then watched a video of some testimonies of several members of the Salesian Family relating to how Don Bosco's dream became a reality in their lives
Then the musical entitled "A heart that dreams" created for the occasion by the Salesian Oratory in Chioggia was performed for the first time
This helped to pass on the beauty of the Salesian mission through artistic expression
