premature pump wear caused significant disruptions Trillium resolved these issues by implementing Floway VTSP vertical turbine solids pumps extending wear life from 300 to over 1,000 hours and tripling the mean time between failures.  Trillium’s R&D department has developed Hydraulic Power Recovery Turbine (HPRT) solutions in response to global demands for greater energy efficiency These solutions transform centrifugal pumps to operate in turbine mode to capture and repurpose residual energy from pressurized flow outlets delivering an economical and more sustainable alternative to traditional methods that waste pressure energy through throttling valves HPRTs are especially relevant in water supply systems and processing industries that handle high-pressure flows These systems can feed recovered energy back into public power grids through AC generators or reduce power consumption in other process operations via direct driver connection Trillium’s research has produced advancements in HPRT design by using CFD tools to set precise criteria for converting API 610 centrifugal pumps into efficient HPRTs The team focused on two configurations: a reverse-running multistage BB4-type pump and a single-stage Their research confirmed that numerical simulation outperforms traditional theoretical methods when predicting HPRT performance It also highlighted the importance of selecting the right balancing line for the BB4-type pump and using CFD to optimize the geometry for the OH2-type pump HPRT technology benefits energy-intensive industries like industrial and petrochemicals by improving efficiency Trillium’s HPRT innovation reflects the company’s commitment to “Performance Engineered” solutions that meet industry needs This article was provided by with Spazio Leonardo Leonardo Insurance's new container located in the heart of Milan Spazio Leonardo is imagined as an organism that grows and changes that lives in ongoing evolution: a workspace that puts itself at the service of the city and welcomes the city enriching it with new spaces and cultural offerings Through the perspective of openness and interdisciplinarity Spazio Leonardo entrusts the artistic direction of its Gallery a long 22-meter wall positioned at its entrance and completely visible from the outside a gallery dedicated to promoting emerging artists and research which proposes a series of three solo exhibitions of as many young Italian artists: Thomas Berra (April - June); Simone Monsi (June - September); Irene Fenara (October - December) Each artist is invited to create a site-specific project in dialogue with the multifaceted nature of Spazio Leonardo and will be documented in a catalog with critical texts and photographs The exhibitions will be open to the public free of charge during the agency’s open hours providing an opportunity for exchange and meeting between the space and the city The collaboration between UNA and Spazio Leonardo two entities operating in different fields but sharing a vision aspires to be a virtuous example of the relationship between art and business capable of producing positive and growth minded effects not only for the people directly involved but also for the entire region Thomas Berra investigates and experiments with the nature of signs The research begins with the study of organic forms in nature from a paraphrase of landscape and plant forms such as those present in the veins of leaves blades of grass or the surface of tree trunks ridding itself of its representative intention and the research becomes a pure study of rhythm and composition: an investigation of the relationship between the sign and the space The traces left by Thomas Berra aren’t much different from each other and are repeated centimeter after centimeter and producing a multitude of presences similar to the sounds and notes of an orchestra which are nothing other than the vibrations generated by a repeating and multiplying line both that of the sheet and that of the wall yields to the physical experience of the artist who rediscovers the joy and vitality of a gesture Thomas Berra’s marks are immediate and pre-rational signs of the moment: simple and soft shapes with liquid colors and bright and clear shades Through this obsessive repetition of the sign the artist seems to want to affirm the lookout for supplier-partners able to offer them heavy-duty solutions maximizing productivity and profitability With its pump solutions for applications in mine water management Trillium Flow Technologies aims to support customers to do just that and contribute to enhancing total plant efficiency A Trillium customer developed a new copper leaching process to increase yield from ore using an acidic solution with a pH of approximately 1.2 and a high level of chlorides This combination of low pH and high levels of chlorides required the use of titanium for pump construction The customer contacted the engineering team for Trillium's Floway brand which specializes in vertical turbine pumps with maximum durable wear and corrosion resistance Trillium conducted significant research and development studies regarding material characteristics to find the balance between cost and suitability of different titanium grades and tested and inspected first article castings prior to production Coordination with the client was crucial to ensure the proper design and material grade selection for various pump components and the creation of discharge heads to fit their existing motors The pumps themselves – Floway 5 Stage 18MKL and 6 Stage 18MKL – were rigorously tested in accordance with industry standards using calibrated lab drivers Trillium's Gabbioneta Pumps brand specializes in fully API 610-compliant pump packages for the oil and gas market and also serves the mining sector due to the parallels between the oil and gas and mining industries' highly demanding requirements Trillium recently supplied heavy-duty process multistage horizontal between bearings pumps for a new copper and molybdenum mine project in Latin America where the customer specifically requested pumps with API 610 standards due to the extreme operating conditions The supply consists of BB3-type Gabbioneta Pumps AHP-DS model pump packages installed at the facilities' pumping stations to provide water pumping service The 7-stage pumps are equipped with non-metallic bushings to optimize efficiency and the pump packages each include a motor equipped with a VFD which constantly regulate speed a lube oil system for the pump thrust bearings forced lubrication and radial and thrust bearings vibration and temperature sensors for monitoring purposes R&D studies were conducted to develop the pump package including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element method (FEM) pump performance tests and complete unit tests were performed in-house at Trillium's Nova Milanese facilities Trillium goes well beyond the supply of original equipment: the company provides through-life service that ensures customer support that maximizes the output value of their pumps throughout their entire life cycle thus contributing to total plant efficiency and profitability Case studies showcasing the effectiveness of Floway pump service solutions in mining include a copper mine in Chile where the concentrator plant tonnage was increased This increase led to premature damage and shortened life of the vertical turbine pump (VTP) units installed on intake structures in a process water application of the reclaimed pond system – causing operational disruptions and increased maintenance costs Trillium substituted the VTP pumps with Floway VTSPs Vertical Turbine Solids Pumps specifically engineered to pump fluids with solid concentrations up to 10% by weight without changing the original motor and with little piping or foundation modification This pump replacement resulted in an increased wear life of the pumps from an average of 300 hours to over 1000 hours and a more than three times increase in the MBTF (Mean Time Between Failures) the mining and mineral processing industry epitomizes the ever-increasing need for partnership-type relationships between plant operators and their equipment and service suppliers Only through such expert collaborations will operators be able to overcome the many challenges of their projects and meet their plant efficiency This article first appeared in the May/June 2023 issue of World Pumps magazine. public offices of a further eight employees of the same police force at the prison for minors"Beccaria” of Milan in addition to the accusation of false ideology and a case of attempted sexual violence by a prison police officer against one of the minors This is the "bad page for the institutions" as he defined it at the opening of the press conference held today in Prosecutor's office in Milan by the Milan prosecutor Marcello Viola who described the investigation into mistreatment and torture in the “Beccaria” juvenile prison A meeting with the press that did not hide the shortcomings of the penitentiary system and recounted the events of the Milanese prison in a harsh and crude manner Viola immediately clarified how "control and compliance with the law must be ensured" speaking of an investigation that started from a series of reports with evidentiary elements from wiretaps and video surveillance footage of the institute the suspects “frequently insulted and threatened the detainees inside their cells and repeatedly hit them with slaps On several occasions they forcibly took prisoners from their cells and led them into a room of the institute without cameras where they physically attacked them in groups even using handcuffs to immobilize them; on several occasions after having insulted and physically attacked the inmates they locked them in isolation cells without clothes or any personal effects threatening them not to file a complaint for not suffer further consequences during the period of detention A 120-page order which is the story of a "descent into horror" of inmates attacked until they spit blood with boot blows so violent to the head that they leave an imprint on the back of the neck rather than kicks to the heart What the prosecutor described as a "painful affair" translates into the words of the prosecutors who responded to the reporters' curiosities at his side Maria Letizia Mannella and Rosaria Stagnaro in fact they often exchanged words at the microphones to clarify the facts use of handcuffs and even sandbags to avoid visibility of the blows suffered “The same kids pinched each other to highlight the bruises,” he explains in one passage Manella who said she was struck by the justification that the officers gave for their actions defined as "educational" violence The various crimes contested by the Public Prosecutor's Office and positively examined by the investigating judge in relation to the conduct of the officers found from at least 2022 to today and reiterated over time against several minor inmates aggravated by impaired defense and abuse of power; complicity in the crime of torture aggravated by the abuse of power of the public official as well as by the circumstance of having committed the act to the detriment of minors; complicity in the crime of injury to minors impaired defense and abuse of power; complicity in the crime of false ideology and finally attempted sexual violence by an officer against a prisoner Attention then shifted to the episode of attempted sexual violence defined by prosecutor Stagnaro as an "attempt at invasive physical contact" later led to retaliation by a higher number of prison officers on the victim of the first "triggering" violence The attacks often took place in an "office of the head of the station" and then forced to move following renovation work on the structure they continued in cells defined in the testimonies of the boys as "isolation" We then return to Christmas 2022 and those escapes which woke up and enlivened Milan between the holidays despite the investigations and the positions to be clarified had one of those fugitives among the victims “The state's interest is to shed light on these facts” is the message sent by the Prosecutor Viola who took the opportunity to recall the difficult living conditions inside prisons and the vital need to intensify training "the only thing that can protect against incidents like this" In this spirit "which saw the maximum collaboration Viola underlined in conclusion "so that the investigations and possible criminal responsibilities can be verified" Words that must be followed up so that this "bad page for the institutions" does not become yet another of a bad book Two years after the acquisition by Tecno spa Zanotta under the guidance of the President and CEO Giuliano Mosconi is Division managing director John Heasley there are 17 international students from the eight universities of the metropolitan city of Milan despite the critical issues related to the last two years of the pandemic confirm their ability to attract talent from other countries there are 17 international students from the eight universities of the metropolitan city of Milan; alone they represent more than 80 percent of the international students enrolled in the entire Lombard university system which has almost 20.300 in a total of 13 universities This is what emerges from Assolombarda's annual survey on the theme "Internationalization of Universities": the research aims to measure the degree of international openness of the local academic hub during the academic year 2021-2022 “The increase in the number of students from other countries constitutes an opportunity for the entire university system and for the whole Milan area – declared the vice president of Assolombarda with responsibility for University The increasingly global approach taken by universities also has a positive impact on Italian students allowing them to dialogue with different cultures and thus anticipating the dynamics of the world of work in which they will have to operate in an increasingly interconnected economic system between geographical areas Partnerships with European universities are also growing and strengthening functional to promoting a virtuous circulation of knowledge and student mobility the Association still intends to work alongside universities to support this interesting trend capable of facilitating the great transitions taking place in the post-Covid era making us leap forward in the rankings and always projecting more Milan on the international competitive scene” Based on the data provided by the Centro Studi the attractiveness of Milan and Lombardy is confirmed: the number of international students is growing by +13 percent compared to 2020-2021 which follows the growth recorded in the previous year when the overall enrollments of international students in the universities of Milan and Lombardy had grown respectively by 5,6 percent and 5,5 percent compared to 2019-2020 revealing the attractiveness of the local university system even in the most critical period of the pandemic “The historical period we are experiencing is profoundly characterized by a worrying mismatch between job supply and demand – added the president of Assolombarda This is a trend that has a negative impact on companies' growth prospects and on their ability to innovate in this difficult economic situation has been crucial in reversing the trend: they have reacted immediately and the fact that they have recovered ground on the subject of attractiveness is it is necessary to attract talent from abroad by creating the conditions for them to remain in our country to work it is also necessary to think about tax breaks: one idea could be a 5 per cent tax on employee income paid to new Italian hires under 35” The Assolombarda survey highlighted the international projection of the universities which continued to invest in internationalization strategies participating in international orientation fairs and events strengthening the network of international agreements and offering specific online open days for international students With regard to the agreements that universities sign with foreign universities in the 2020-2021 academic year there are more than 6.100 agreements in place in Lombardy overall The countries most involved in the agreements are Spain more than eight out of ten international students enrolled in Milanese universities come from Asia or Europe: 45 percent (43 percent in Lombardy) of the international student population is of Asian origin; 38 percent (37 percent in Lombardy) the most common countries of origin are China which alone account for a third of international students in the area "The data that emerges from the Assolombarda survey shows the resilience of Milanese and Lombard universities and the trust of international students that we must know how to welcome and value as a very precious signal after years of exceptional complexity - commented the rector of the University of Milan and president of Crul It is an answer that undoubtedly rewards the ability of our universities to offer training courses shaped on the complexity of a present defined by change and which confirms the attractiveness of a territory full of opportunities the positive reaction of international students must also translate into a new welcoming effort: Milan and the local area must prove themselves up to a challenge that is above all an opportunity also with the development and implementation of suitable services the strong concentration of international students in STEM courses also emerges in the twelfth edition of the survey the enrollment rate is equal to 43 per cent much higher than the average 30,2 per cent of the total number of young people present in the Milanese universities The analysis conducted on data from the 2020-2021 academic year allows us to observe the gender differences between those enrolled in STEM courses If among the international students enrolled in STEM courses the female component is equal to 42 percent the same does not happen among the students overall for which the incidence of women (in STEM courses) stops at 35 percent ie activities that allow students to train in a university abroad for a limited period of time The strong restrictions imposed on circulation not only in Italy but also in many parts of the world have reduced the number of students involved Only 5.900 Italian students from Milanese universities have participated in these programmes a third less than in the previous academic year (already affected by a decrease in departures) The dynamics of incoming foreign students was even more negative must be read within the pandemic framework The company founded by Aurelio Zanotta becomes part of the Haworth Lifestyle Design group It’s official: Zanotta has been acquired by Cassina and thus becomes part of the Haworth Lifestyle Design group – which now contains the brands Cassina Cassina will have the task of coordinating the activities and future growth of Zanotta a company with turnover of about 25 million euros “After years of intense work that has brought Zanotta into the spotlight I am pleased that this outstanding company can continue its journey in the company of an important player like Cassina which will help it to fulfill its potential,” says Giuliano Mosconi This enthusiasm is shared by the CEO of Cassina Luca Fuso: “We are extremely happy to welcome Zanotta total operative autonomy to continue its path of creativity in search of new talents and bringing out the value of an exceptional product portfolio We will take good care of Zanotta and we are planning to take the company to new heights of renown Zanotta is and remains one of the most representative also due to its 330 products on view in 56 museums around the world with 4 Compasso d’Oro ADI awards across the span of its existence They started from nothing and went on to make a name for themselves internationally whenever the subject of sound absorption comes up Its two guiding principles are design and innovation when founding father Renato set up a company making ‘useful things’ (mostly household items) in Nova Milanese His first patents included an oven with a porthole window Then came articles for smokers and in the 1980s furnishings which led to collaborations with some leading designers Through times of recession up to the end of the first decade of the new millennium Caimi has turned difficult times into an opportunity In this company it really is a question of ‘like father Franco and Giorgio – all joined their father’s business and set themselves a new aim: to wage war on noise pollution “We went round laboratories all over the world,” Franco remembers “and collaborated with universities to study the subject and learn what we needed to do.” Key to all of this was an intuition: to compress polyester yarn into thin panels and get designers to turn them into something visually attractive “sound-absorbing products had always been ugly consisting of panels and fabrics.” All recyclable New shapes and decorative features were created by De Lucchi Alberto and Francesco Meda (Compasso d’Oro and Design Europa Award for Flap) Francesco and Alessandro Mendini (German Design Award) even Gillo Dorfles worked alongside Caimi technicians to reproduce onto their panels four of his drawings produced between 1937 and 1998 “that calculates a material’s requirements we supply instructions on how to use it.” the company was continuing its experimental work seven futuristic laboratories were created for theoretical and applied technological research into new materials and for advanced prototyping Through over ten thousand square metres of space run 40 kilometres of electrical wires and data cables Sound chambers made available by various universities musicians and foundations are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and equipment much of which was designed and produced in-house More than seventy years on from Renato’s first patents Its passion for acoustics has not sidelined the earlier core business: sales are divided more or less equally between sound-absorbing products on the one hand and furnishings and complements on the other (it recently introduced an outdoor furnishing range) Sometimes the two activites go hand in hand as is the case with the Snow Pouf designed by Paola Navone: “A seat,” the designer says pop spirit and a remarkable ability to lessen noise.” and website in this browser for the next time I comment Abitare.it e Style.corriere.it rifiutando tutti i cookie di profilazione ad eccezione di by Massimo Gramellini this year's theme is the union between the Carabinieri and the communities A circulation of 1,2 million copies in eight languages These are the numbers of the 2024 edition of the Carabinieri Calendar presented today in Milan by the provincial commander “is to increasingly be an institution capable of listening and maintaining a relationship based on mutual trust and closeness to the citizen A closeness that we try to express not only by dealing with big issues we have a strong understanding of our relationship with citizens from a social point of view Therefore not only the fight against criminal phenomena but also that of social workers in the communities." The general appointed provincial commander of Milan a few months ago explained that during his visits to the barracks in the area he had the opportunity to personally meet elderly citizens in a panic with tears in their eyes asking for help not because they were victims of a crime was the problem of problems for that person” The calendar develops precisely along the common thread of the story of events actually experienced by the military which demonstrate the close bond between the Carabinieri and the community even when citizens find themselves alone facing the fury of nature or facing lockdown during the pandemic The 12 tables are linked together by a red band starting from the flame refers to a Milanese case: it is dedicated to the story of Filippo Consoli last January stopped Aleksander Chomiak at the Milan central station the young man accused of attempted murder for stabbing an Israeli tourist at the Rome Termini train station Although still far from the pre-Covid numbers which recorded up to 820 thousand travelers a day daily train journeys reached almost 400 thousand albeit in a year still tormented by the pandemic generated an overall positive value of 1,86 billion euros in Lombardy presented in the Sustainability Report 2021 of Trenord in addition to revenues also considers the externalities produced at an economic social and environmental level by the Lombard railway company which in the last year transported 116,3 million passengers - 24 more than in 2020 - avoiding over 2,2 Trenord since 2030 is the first transport company in Italy to quantify - according to the “True Value” model developed by KPMG - the economic impacts generated by the railway service on people institutions and the business system in the area which include the emissions avoided thanks to the train but also aspects such as the reduction of water consumption in warehouses and offices are added the social and economic benefits derived from the availability of the railway service True Value translates into economic value the induced activity generated in tourist resorts by visitors arriving by train the wealth distributed to employees and suppliers drawn up according to the guidelines defined by the GRI Global reporting initiative Trenord contributes to the achievement of seven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Agenda 1,69 approved by the United Nations which identify the priorities to work on at global level to the development of sustainable cities and communities it has been calculated that the social impacts generated by Trenord are worth € 479 billion the most relevant element is the widespread availability of the transport service for passengers the Canton of Ticino and Malpensa International Airport in 2021 the trains traveled 38,8 million trains / km (+12 percent compared to 2020) An unparalleled capillarity in Italy: 77 percent of Lombard municipalities - where 92 percent of citizens live - have the nearest railway station within a radius of 5 km On these territories the value of the train affects not only in terms of service availability which passengers have available to carry out work activities in the reduction of road traffic and accidents Another value is the Malpensa Express: since July with the decrease in restrictions for Covid-19 and the increase in airport passengers Trenord's railway connection with Malpensa Airport has seen an increase in attendance The recovery saw a further acceleration in September 1,46 million passengers used the Malpensa Express to reach the airport or 15 percent of the total users of Malpensa Environmental sustainability of Trenord in 2021 also derives from the progressive entry into service of the 222 new trains purchased by the Lombardy Region: the 29 Caravaggio and 10 Donizetti already in service in 2021 consumed 30 percent less energy To these trains will be added the 14 hydrogen trains that will run on the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo line as part of the H2iseO project conceived with FNM and Ferrovienord The work for sustainability does not stop at the transport service: the company is committed to making warehouses and offices greener as well 500 trees were planted at the Milano Fiorenza plant for a total of 1400 trees that absorbed 505 tons of CO2 last year alone The project to replace the company car fleet with green vehicles continued: the company now has 42 electric cars and vans which avoid the emission of about 40 tons of CO2 a plant was built in the Novate Milanese depot that will allow the recovery of 10 million liters of rainwater per year: most of it will be used to clean the trains; With this new service "there is always room for improvement and we must pursue them with perseverance" The service is available to all airlines that want to integrate their check in and boarding systems with the FaceBoarding Ita Airways and SAS were the first companies to join the project This service optimizes the passenger experience at the airport by allowing those who have previously registered via the kiosks present in the airport or directly from their mobile devices (the mobile app will be available from June) to reduce the time of checks of their identity documents and increasing their security it will no longer be necessary to show your documents and/or boarding pass at the Pre-Security turnstiles (access turnstiles to the security control area) and at the boarding gates which become self-service The solution is the evolution of the previous test phase and is based on the voluntary participation of the passenger with annual registration or for a single flight the FaceBoarding developed in collaboration with Enac and the State Police in addition to offering greater speed of checks it increases their effectiveness and guarantees the protection of passengers' privacy and data Sea's partners in the project are Thales and Dormakaba who developed the biometric processing system and the appropriate gates respectively My web blog :: 카지노 “I just had my initially eber massage here and it was a wonderful experience my blog; 스웨디시마사지 Fantasy sports are a newer addition to thee on-line gambling arena My website … zorah.jaiblogs.com all blind draws for the Upper Mississippi Conservvation Area restricted waterfowl hunting zone will be carried out by an electronic draw My web site 파워볼게임 Here is my webpage :: 마사지 Also visit my website :: 무직자대출 you will also have to put down how a great deal you’d like to borrow Herre is my site 대출 Feel free to visit my page 소액대출 Stop by my blog: read more Feel ffee to surf to myy website: 요정 알바 A human body requirements some relaxation and peacce to revive itself from the outside world’s demons Have a look at myy web-site … 스웨디시 계좌이체 Have a look at my webpage 몬스터파워볼 and even slots are all available to players Look at my web-site … website Players from South Korea are restricted to a ccouple of types of legl betting Also visit my web blog … click here Here is my webpage; 마사지 Maximize your job and internshiop searcxh with Handshake Montclair State’s career solutions management system My site 여자밤알바 Feel free to surf to my webpage – 하드 스웨디시 Also visit my web page web page You can also play through your mobile working with the browser oon your device Also visit my web page :: 카지노사이트 Feel free to surf to my web site; 소액 대출 The maximum casout iis set at 30 times your initiazl deposit amount this promotion is great for slot fans out there Here is my webpage … web page My weeb site web site my homepage :: 바카라사이트 She also began operating a volunteer work that has delivered additional than 12,000 meals to front-line workers Also visit my webpage 여성알바 Also visit my blog post – 신용대출 Ranging among 60 to 90 minutes, the massage improves immunity by the manipulation of muscles more than the bine structure Here is my blog post – 스웨디시마사지 Here is my blog post – 스웨디시마사지 My site 스웨디시 계좌이체 Her position relating to kindergartens is shared by two thirds of the Dutch My blog post … website just became alert to your blog through Google I all the time emailed this website post page to all my friends as if like to read it next my friends will too if you be familiar with then you can write otherwise it is difficult to write I found your website by way of Google whilst searching for a comparable topic Begin typing your search above and press return to search Moreover, we observed that both CDKN1B and BRCA1 antagonize ERО± activity by abrogating the interaction between cyclin D1 and ERО± cialis order online I’ve be aware your stuff previous to and you are just too fantastic I really like what you’ve acquired right here certainly like what you are stating and the way in which during which you assert it You’re making it enjoyable and you still care for to keep it sensible I have seen loads of useful things on your website about pcs I’ve got the impression that laptop computers are still more or less not powerful enough to be a wise decision if you frequently do things that require a lot of power and most other popular computer work they are fine I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself Either way keep up the nice quality writing it is rare to see a great blog like this one nowadays.
