an elderly man and a young man – both Italian nationals –  lost their lives after they were involved in a traffic accident in Brescia province on Saturday evening
The accident occurred on the  Ospitaletto-Montichiari autostrada
between Borgosatollo and Castenedolo shortly before 7.00 p.m
The young man was brought out of the car by Civil Protection personnel and transferred to Spedali Civili Hospital in Brescia in a critical condition
The victims were identified as 86-year-old Bruno Agnari and 28-year-old Pietro Meini
The accident site was closed off for about two hours
In the night between Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 June and between Friday 10 and Saturday 11
the following closure measures will be adopted to allow maintenance work on an overpass and for the upgrading of safety barriers
